The dinuclear terephthalato-bridged nickel(II) complexes [Ni2(cyclen)2(μ-tp)](ClO4)2 (1) [Ni2(trpn)2(μ-tp)(H2O)2](ClO4)2 (2) and [Ni2(3,3,3-tet)2(μ-tp)(H2O)2](ClO4)2 · 2H2O (3), where tp = terephthalate dianion, cyclen = 1,4,7,10-tetraazacyclododecane, trpn = tris(3-aminopropyl)amine and 3,3,3-tet = 1,5,9,13-tetraazatridecane, were synthesized and structurally characterized by X-ray crystallography. Their magnetic susceptibilities were also determined at variable temperatures over the range 2-300 K. The structures of these complexes consist of μ-tp bridging two Ni(II) centers in a bis(bidentate) bonding fashion in 1 and in bis(monodentate) bonding fashion in 2 and 3. The coordination geometry around the Ni(II) ions in these compounds has a distorted octahedral geometry with four nitrogen atoms from the amine ligand (cyclen, trpn or 3,3,3-tet) and two coordinated oxygen atoms supplied by the chelated carboxylate group of the bridged terephthalate ligand in 1, and by one tp-carboxylate-oxygen in 2 and 3. The sixth coordination site in the last two complexes 2 and 3 is achieved via an oxygen atom from a coordinated water molecule. The intradimer Ni…Ni distances in these complexes are 10.740, 11.428 and 11.537 Å for 1, 2 and 3, respectively. The electronic spectra of the complexes in aqueous solutions are in complete agreement with the assigned X-ray geometry around the Ni(II) centers. Also, the analysis of the infrared spectral data for the ν(COO) stretching frequencies of the tp-carboxalato groups reveals the existence of the bis(bidentate) and bis(monodentate) coordination modes for the bridged terephthalate ligand in 1, 2 and 3, respectively. Despite the different coordination modes of the tp bridging ligand in these complexes, they all exhibit very weak antiferromagnetic coupling. The coupling constants J were found to be −2.2, −0.6 and −1.5 cm3 K mol−1 for the complexes 1, 2 and 3, respectively. The structural and magnetic results of 1-3 are discussed in relation to the other related published μ-terephthalato dinuclear Ni(II) compounds.  相似文献

The synthesis of iron(II), cobalt(II) and nickel(II) complexes supported by chelating borate ligands containing one pyrazole and two thioethers, phenyl(pyrazolyl)bis((alkylthio)methyl)borates, [Ph(pz)BtR], is described. The six-coordinate complexes [Ph(pz)Bt]2M, M = Fe (1Fe), Co (1Co) and Ni (1Ni), form exclusively the cis isomers as confirmed by X-ray diffraction analyses. Whereas 1Co and 1Ni are high spin, 1Fe exhibits a room temperature magnetic moment, μeff = 4.1 μB, consistent with spin-crossover behavior. Quantitative analysis of the electronic spectrum of 2Ni leads to a value of Dq = 1086 cm−1, reflective of a ligand field strength somewhat weaker than those imposed by the related tridentate borate ligands Tp or PhTt. Replacement of the methylthioether substituent with the sterically more demanding tert-butylthioether leads to the isolation of [Ph(pz)BttBu]MX, M = Co, X = Cl (2Co); M = Ni, X = Cl (2Ni) or acac (3). The solid state structures of 2Co and 2Ni are chloride-bridged dimers. Additional high-spin cobalt(II) complexes, accessible under distinct preparative conditions, [κ2-Ph(pzH)BttBu] CoCl2·THF (4) and [κ2-Ph(pz)BttBu]2Co (5), have been fully characterized.  相似文献

A series of nickel(II) and cobalt(II) complexes, NiX2L (X = Cl, Br; 1-6) and CoCl2L (7-9), with 2,9-diaryl-1,10-phenanthroline ligands (L1-L3) have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, UV-Vis, IR spectroscopy, and X-ray crystal structural study (for 1, 4-7, 9). The solid-state structures of 1, 5-7 and 9 show four-coordinate, slightly flattened tetrahedral geometry at the Ni(II) or Co(II) center, while 4 is five-coordinated (square-pyramidal), containing a THF molecule as an auxiliary ligand. The title complexes (1-9) display good catalytic activities in ethylene oligomerization when activated with methylaluminoxane (MAO). While the Co(II) precatalysts produce primarily C4 isomers, the Ni(II) complexes give ethylene dimers and trimers at normal pressure. The activities and yields of linear α-olefins increase with increasing ethylene pressure for the Ni(II) complexes, leading to more high-molar-mass products (C8-C18). Complex 6 displays the best catalytic activity among the complexes studied (up to 1518 kg/mol[Ni] h at 10 atm).  相似文献

Two novel dinuclear nickel(II) complexes [Ni2(ntb)2(μ-tp)(H2O)1.61(CH3OH)0.39](NO3)2·5.13CH3OH·2.25H2O (1) and [Ni2(ntb)2(μ-fum)(H2O)(CH3OH)](NO3)2·6CH3OH·H2O (2) (tp = terephthalate dianion, fum = fumarate dianion, ntb = tris(2-benzimidazolylmethyl)amine) containing tetradentate poly-benzimidazole ligand were synthesized and structurally characterized by IR spectra, UV-Vis, elemental analysis and X-ray crystallography. The Ni(II) ions in 1 and 2 have distorted octahedral geometry with four nitrogen atoms of ntb, one oxygen atom of water and one oxygen atom supplied by the carboxylate group of the bridged dicarboxylato ligand. Complexes 1 and 2 consist of terephthalato- and fumarato-bridged dinickel(II) centers in bis(monodentate) bonding fashion. The Ni?Ni distances are 11.333 Å for 1 and 8.966 Å for 2. The magnetic susceptibility measurements at variable temperature show that two complexes exhibit weak antiferromagnetic interactions between nickel(II) ions with J values of −0.25 cm−1 and −0.36 cm−1, respectively.  相似文献

The reaction of [Ni(tmhd)2] and [Ni(dbm)2] with N-donor chelating ligands in dichloromethane and acetone, respectively, yields the complexes [Ni(tmhd)2(L-L)] (L-L = 2,2′-bpy 1, phen 2 and dmae 3) and [Ni(dbm)2(L-L)] (L-L = 2,2′-bpy 4, phen 5, dmae 6). UV-Vis spectroscopy shows very strong bands in the UV region consistent with ligand centred π → π transitions. The electrochemical studies of 1-6 reveal oxidation to Ni(III). The [Ni(tmhd)2(L-L)] 1-3 are more easily oxidized by ca. 300 mV and are quasi-reversible whereas for the [Ni(dbm)2(L-L)] series only complex 6 shows significant reversibility. X-ray crystallographic studies have been conducted in the case of [Ni(dbm)2(phen)] 5 and [Ni(dbm)2(dmae)] 6. The structures both show that the nickel metal centre is octahedral with an O4N2 coordination environment. In the structures the β-diketonate ligands exhibit a cis-arrangement, with the metal displaced out of the planar chelate ring.  相似文献

Two new nickel(II) complexes of the composition [Ni(cyclam)(Hdipic)2] · 2H2O (1) and [Ni(cyclam)(H2O)2][Ni(dipic)2] · 2.5H2O (2) (cyclam = 1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradecane) have been prepared and structurally characterized by a combination of analytical, spectroscopic, thermogravimetric, and crystallographic methods. The structure of 1 shows that the central nickel(II) ion is coordinated axially by two monodentate Hdipic ligands. The discrete neutral complex 1 further extends its structure by hydrogen bonding interactions to form a one-dimensional supramolecule. The structure of 2 consists of two independent nickel(II) centers. Water molecules instead of dipic ligands prefer to coordinate to the Ni1 ion forming a divalent cation [Ni(cyclam)(H2O)2]2+. Two dipic ligands coordinate to the second Ni2 ion forming a divalent anion [Ni(dipic)2]2−. The divalent cations and anions are charge-balanced, resulting in a molecular salt. The divalent cations and anions are interconnected by multiple types of hydrogen bonding interactions.  相似文献

Four different mononuclear octahedral Ni(II) complexes with protonated and deprotonated form of the same ligand have been synthesized by controlling reaction conditions and structurally characterized. The complexes are [Ni(HLl-his)(benzoate)(MeOH)] (1), [Ni(HLl-his)(SCN)(MeOH)] (2), [Ni(HLl-his)2] (3) and [Ni(Ll-his)(imidazole)2] (4) where H2Ll-his is (S)-2-(2-hydroxybenzylamino)-3-(1H-imidazol-4-yl)-propionic acid. The ligand behaves as a monobasic tetradentate ligand in 1 and 2, monobasic tridentate ligand in 3 and dibasic tetradentate ligand in 4. Ni(II) coordinated phenolic proton of the ligand in the complexes 1-2 shows strong intra-molecular H-bonding with benzoate in 1 and lattice water in 2, whereas 3 shows intermolecular H-bonding between uncoordinated phenols with neighbouring carboxylate. The pH titration of the complexes revealed that metal coordination and H-bond in complexes 1 and 2 considerably lowers the acidity of ligand phenol (pKa 6.8 and 7.0 respectively) compared to phenol (pKa 10). The complex 4 does not show any proton loss due to the absence of phenolic proton. All the complexes show extensive H-bonded network in the crystals including narrow (7.8 × 5.2 Å) water filled one dimensional channel in 2.  相似文献

Two novel ion-pair complexes, 1-(4′-bromo-2′-fluorobenzyl)isoquinolinium-bis(maleonitrile dithiolato)nickel(III), [BrFBzIQl] · Ni(mnt)2 · 0.5MeCN (1) and 1-(4′-bromo-2′-flourobenzyl)-quinolinium-bis(maleonitriledithiolato)nickel(III), [BrFBzQl] · Ni(mnt)2 (2) have been characterized structurally and magnetically. The anions and cations of 1 stack into columns in the solid state, respectively; and the Ni(III) ions form uniform stacking column with the Ni?Ni distances 4.061 Å within a column through intermolecular Ni?S, S?S, Ni?Ni or π?π interactions, while 2 forms 1D column of alternating between cations and anions via the hydrogen bonds, C?N, C?N, N?C, and π?π interactions. The changes of coupling constants were observed in these two complexes at 85 K for 1 and 70 K for 2. It is interesting that 1 undergoes a transition from antiferromagnetic to ferromagnetic phase and 2 does counter to that of 1.  相似文献

A new bis(macrocycle) ligand, 7,7-(2-hydoxypropane-1,3-diyl)-bis{3,7,11,17-tetraazabicyclo[11.3.1]heptadeca-1(17),13,15-triene} (HL), and its dicopper(II) ([Cu2(HL)Cl2](NO3)2 · 4H2O (4a), [Cu2(HL)I2]I2 · H2O (4b)) and dinickel(II) ([Ni2(L)(OH2)](ClO4)3 (5a), [Ni2(L)(OH2)]I3 · 2H2O (5b), [Ni2(L)N3](N3)2 · 7H2O (5c)) complexes have been synthesized. The alkoxide bridged face-to-face structure of the dinickel(II) complex 5c has been revealed by X-ray crystallography, as well as the “half-opened clamshell” form of the bis(macrocyclic) dicopper(II) complex 4b. Variable temperature magnetic susceptibility studies have indicated that there exists intramolecular antiferromagnetic coupling (J=−33.8 cm−1 (5a), −32.5 cm−1 (5b), and −29.7 cm−1 (5c)) between the two nickel(II) ions in the nickel(II) complexes.  相似文献

A series of cyanide-bridged binuclear complexes, (‘S3’)Ni-CN-M[TptBu] (‘S3’ = bis(2-mercaptophenyl)sulfide, TptBu = hydrotris(3-tert-butylpyrazolyl)borate, M = Fe (2-Fe), Co (2-Co), Ni (2-Ni), Zn (2-Zn)) was prepared by the coupling of K[(‘S3’)Ni(CN)] with [TptBu]MX. The isostructural series of complexes was structurally and spectroscopically characterized. A similar coupling strategy was used to synthesize the anionic copper(I) analogue, Et4N{(‘S3’)Ni-CN-Cu[TptBu]}, 2-Cu.An alternative synthesis was devised for the preparation of the linkage isomers of 2-Zn, i.e. of cyanide-bridged linkage isomers. X-ray diffraction, 13C NMR and IR spectral studies established that isomerization to the more stable Ni-CN-Zn isomer occurs. DFT computational results buttressed the experimental observations indicating that the cyanide-bridged isomer is ca. 5 kcal/mol more stable than its linkage isomer.  相似文献

A series of new binuclear copper (II) and nickel (II) complexes of the macrocyclic ligands bis(1,4,7-triazacyclononan-1-yl)butane (Lbut) and bis(1,4,7-triazacyclononan-1-yl)-m-xylene (Lmx) have been synthesized: [Cu2LbutBr4] (1), [Cu2Lbut(imidazole)2Br2](ClO4)2 (2), [Cu2Lmx(μ-OH)(imidazole)2](ClO4)3 (3), [Cu2Lbut(imidazole)4](ClO4)4 · H2O (4), [Cu2Lmx(imidazole)4](ClO4)4 (5), [Ni2 Lbut(H2O)6](ClO4)4 · 2H2O (6), [Ni2Lbut(imidazole)6](ClO4)4 · 2H2O (7) and [Ni2Lmx (imidazole)4(H2O)2](ClO4)4 · 3H2O (8). Complexes 1, 2, 7 and 8 have been characterized by single crystal X-ray studies. In each of the complexes, the two tridentate 1,4,7-triazacyclononane rings of the ligand facially coordinate to separate metal centres. The distorted square-pyramidal coordination sphere of the copper (II) centres is completed by bromide anions in the case of 1 and/or monodentate imidazole ligands in complexes 2, 4 and 5. Complex 3 has been formulated as a monohydroxo-bridged complex featuring two terminal imidazole ligands. Complexes 6-8 feature distorted octahedral nickel (II) centres with water and/or monodentate imidazole ligands occupying the remaining coordination sites. Within the crystal structures, the ligands adopt trans conformations, with the two metal binding compartments widely separated, perhaps as a consequence of electrostatic repulsion between the cationic metal centres. The imidazole-bearing complexes may be viewed as simple models for the coordinative interaction of the binuclear complexes of bis (tacn) ligands with protein molecules bearing multiple surface-exposed histidine residues.  相似文献

Five-coordinate thiolato complexes, [L1M(SMeIm)] (M = Co and Ni) (L1 = hydrotris(3,5-diisopropyl-1-pyrazolyl)borate anion and HSMeIm = 2-mercapto-1-methylimidazole), were synthesized. These complexes were compared with the corresponding Cu(II) and Zn(II) complexes with the same ligands and were also compared with the related four-coordinate complexes [L1M(SC6F5)] (HSC6F5 = pentafluorobenzenthiol). All the complexes were characterized by X-ray crystallography and UV-Vis absorption, IR, 1H NMR, and other spectroscopic techniques. All five-coordinate thiolato complexes, [L1M(SMeIm)] (M = Co, Ni, and Cu), form a distorted square pyramidal structure with a high spin state, and only [L1Zn(SMeIm)] takes a four-coordinate structure with a distorted tetrahedral configuration. The N21-M-S bond angles of the obtained five-coordinate complexes were proportional to the corresponding d value, which comes from between the equatorial basal plane with N4S ligand donor sets and metal ion. These observations and M-S bond distances affect on UV-Vis and far-IR spectral behavior.  相似文献

Five new complexes of general formula: [Ni(RSO2NCS2)(dppe)], where R = C6H5 (1), 4-ClC6H4 (2), 4-BrC6H4 (3), 4-IC6H4 (4) and dppe = 1,2-bis(diphenylphosphino)ethane and [Ni(4-IC6H4SO2NCS2)(PPh3)2] (5), where PPh3 = triphenylphosphine, were obtained in crystalline form by the reaction of the appropriate potassium N-R-sulfonyldithiocarbimate K2(RSO2NCS2) and dppe or PPh3 with nickel(II) chloride in ethanol/water. The elemental analyses and the IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR and 31P NMR spectra are consistent with the formation of the square planar nickel(II) complexes with mixed ligands. All complexes were also characterized by X-ray diffraction techniques and present a distorted cis-NiS2P2 square-planar configuration around the Ni atom. Quantum chemical calculations reproduced the crystallographic structures and are in accord with the spectroscopic data. Rare C-H···Ni intramolecular short contact interactions were observed in the complexes 1-5.  相似文献

Syntheses, structural characterizations, magnetic behaviors and theoretical analyses of two new ion-pair complexes, [IFBzIQl][Ni(mnt)2](1) and [IClBzIQl]2[Ni(mnt)2]2 · MeCN(2) [IFBzIQl][Ni(mnt)2] ([IFBzIQl]+ = 1-(2′-fluoro-4′-iodobenzyl)isoquinolinium, [IClBzIQl]+ = 1-(2′-chloro-4′-iodobenzyl)isoquinolinium, mnt2− = maleonitriledithiolate), have been investigated. In crystal of 1, the [Ni(mnt)2] anions and the [IFBzIQl]+ cations stack into an alternating column through π?π stacking interactions. The anions of both 1 and 2 form a dimer via π?π stacking and S?S short interactions between the [Ni(mnt)2] anions. The overlapping mode of two neighboring [Ni(mnt)2] anions in the dimer is the Ni-ring fashion with a Ni?Ni distance of 4.076 Å for 1, and ring-ring fashion with the Ni?Ni and S?S distances being 4.395 and 3.593 Å for 2. Some weak interactions such as π?π, C?N, C-H?F or C-H?N in 1 and 2 play a crucial role in stacking and stabilizing the crystal lattice, and give a 3D network structure and exchange pathways of the magnetic interaction for 1 and 2. Magnetic susceptibility measurements for 1 and 2 in the temperature range 1.8-300 K show that the overall magnetic behavior indicates the presence of antiferromagnetic interaction, while 2 exhibits an activated magnetic behavior in the high-temperature region (HT) together with a Curie tail in the low-temperature region (LT).  相似文献

Two novel ion-pair complexes, [RBzIQl]+[Ni(mnt)2] (mnt2− = maleonitriledithiolate, [RBzIQl]+ = 4-R-benzylisoquinolinium; R = H (1), Cl (2)) have been characterized structurally and magnetically. The anions and [BzIQl]+ cations of 1 form 1D column of alternating between cations and anions via π?π stacking interaction between Ni(mnt)2 plane and isoquinoline ring, and the Ni(mnt)2 anions between adjacent columns exist C?N, C?N, and N?N interaction. The anions and cations of 2 stack into well-segregated columns in the solid state; and the Ni(III) ions form a 1D zigzag chain in a Ni(mnt)2 column through intermolecular Ni?S, S?S, Ni?Ni or π?π interactions. The chain is uniform in 2 with the Ni?Ni distances of 3.784 Å. Magnetic susceptibility measurements for these complexes in the temperature range 1.8-300 K show that 1 exhibits antiferromagnetic coupling behavior, and 2 exhibits unusual magnetic phase transitions around 45 K. The overall magnetic behavior for 2 indicates the presence of antiferromagnetic interaction in the high-temperature phase (HT) and spin gap in the low-temperature phase (LT).  相似文献

Two sets of ligands, set-1 and set-2, have been prepared by mixing 1,3-diaminopentane and carbonyl compounds (2-acetylpyridine or pyridine-2-carboxaldehyde) in 1:1 and 1:2 ratios, respectively, and employed for the synthesis of complexes with Ni(II) perchlorate, Ni(II) thiocyanate and Ni(II) chloride. Ni(II) perchlorate yields the complexes having general formula [NiL2](ClO4)2(L = L1 [N3-(1-pyridin-2-yl-ethylidene)-pentane-1,3-diamine] for complex 1 or L2[N3-pyridin-2-ylmethylene-pentane-1,3-diamine] for complex 2) in which the Schiff bases are monocondensed terdentate, whereas Ni(II) thiocyanate results in the formation of tetradentate Schiff base complexes, [NiL(SCN)2] (L = L3[N,N′-bis-(1-pyridin-2-yl-ethylidine)-pentane-1,3-diamine] for complex 3 or L4 [N,N′-bis(pyridin-2-ylmethyline)-pentane-1,3-diamine] for complex 4) irrespective of the sets of ligands used. Complexes 5 {[NiL3(N3)2]} and 6 {[NiL4(N3)2]} are prepared by adding sodium azide to the methanol solution of complexes 1 and 2. Addition of Ni(II) chloride to the set-1 or set-2 ligands produces [Ni(pn)2]Cl2, 7, as the major product, where pn = 1,3-diaminopentane. Formation of the complexes has been explained by the activation of the imine bond by the counter anion and thereby favouring the hydrolysis of the Schiff base. All the complexes have been characterized by elemental analyses and spectral data. Single crystal X-ray diffraction studies confirm the structures of three representative members, 1, 4 and 7; all of them have distorted octahedral geometry around Ni(II). The bis-complex of terdentate ligands, 1, is the mer isomer, and complexes 4 and 7 possess trans geometry.  相似文献

Two new nickel(II) complexes with the composition [Ni(L+H)(CH3CN)2](ClO4)3 (1) and [Ni(L)(tp)]·6H2O (2), (L = 3,10-bis{3-(1-imidazolyl)propyl}-1,3,5,8,10,12-hexaazacyclotetradecane, tp = terephthalate) have been synthesized and structurally characterized by a combination of analytical, spectroscopic and X-ray diffraction methods. The structure of 1 consists of monomeric cations of the formula [Ni(L+H)(CH3CN)2]3+ and perchlorate ions. The nickel(II) ion is six-coordinate with bonds to the four nitrogen atoms of the macrocycle and two nitrogen atoms of the axial acetonitrile ligands. One of the protonated imidazole pendants of the macrocycle is hydrogen bonded to the imidazole group of the neighboring nickel(II) macrocycle, forming an undulated 1D supramolecule. Then, the two 1D supramolecular chains are further interconnected by C-H···π interactions between the methyl group of the acetonitrile ligand and one of the imidazole groups to form a 2D double stranded supramolecular polymer. In the structure of 2, the 1D coordination polymer is formed with nickel(II) macrocycles and bridging terephthalate ions, where each 1D chain is interconnected with π-π interactions of pendant imidazole moieties of the macrocycles, resulting in the formation of a 2D supramolecule.  相似文献

Reaction of [NiCl2(dtbpe)] (dtbpe = 1,2-bis(di-tert-butylphosphino)ethane) with one equivalent of NaBArF4 (BArF4 = tetrakis[3,5-bis(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]borate) gives the dinuclear chloro-bridged nickel complex [Ni2(μ-Cl)2(dtbpe)2](BArF4)2 (1). [Ni(solv)6](BF4)2 reacts with dtbpe to give, depending on the solvent, the fluoro-bridged complex [Ni2(μ-F)2(dtbpe)2](BF4)2 (2) (solv = THF) or the mononuclear chelate complex [Ni(MeCN)2(dtbpe)](BF4)2 (3) (solv = MeCN). In 1-3, nickel cations are coordinated in a square-planar fashion according to X-ray crystallography. No Ni-Ni interaction was observed in dinuclear halogen-bridged complexes 1 and 2.  相似文献

Five new compounds with the general formula of (Bu4N)2[M(RSO2NCS2)2], where Bu4N = tetrabutylammonium cation, (M = Ni, R = 4-FC6H4) (1), (M = Zn, R = 4-FC6H4, 4-ClC6H4, 4-BrC6H4, 4-IC6H4), (2), (3), (4) and (5), respectively, were obtained by the reaction of the appropriate potassium N-R-sulfonyldithiocarbimate (RSO2NCS2K2) with nickel(II) chloride hexahydrate or zinc(II) acetate dihydrate in metanol:water 1:1. The elemental analyses and the IR data are consistent with the formation of the expected bis(dithiocarbimato)metal(II) complexes. The 1H and 13C NMR spectra showed the signals for the tetrabutylammonium cation and the dithiocarbimate moieties. The compounds 1, 2 and 5 were also characterized by X-ray diffraction techniques. The nickel(II) is coordinated by two N-4-fluorophenylsulphonyldithiocarbimato(2-) ligands forming a planar coordination. The zinc(II) exhibits distorted tetrahedral configuration in compounds 2 and 5 due to the chelation effect of two sulfur atoms of the N-R-sulfonyldithiocarbimate ligands. The antifungal activities of the compounds were tested in vitro against Colletotrichum gloeosporioides, an important fungus that causes the plant disease known as anthracnose in fruit trees. All the complexes were active.  相似文献

Two new mononuclear bis(oxamato) complexes with the formula [nBu4N]2[M(nabo)] M = Ni (4), Cu (5), with nabo = 2,3-naphthalene-bis(oxamato) have been synthesized as precursors for trinuclear oxamato-bridged transition metal complexes. Starting from 5 the homo-trinuclear complex [Cu3(nabo)(pmdta)2(BF4)](BF4) · MeCN · Et2O (7), with pmdta = N,N,N′,N″,N″-pentamethyldiethylenetriamine, has been prepared. The central N,N′-2,3-naphthalene bridge of 7 is so far the most extended π-conjugated bridge of trinuclear bis(oxamato) type transition metal complexes. The goal of this work was to verify the N,N′-2,3-naphthalene bridge of 7 on its magnetic properties in comparison to the N,N′-o-phenylene bridge of the related homo-trinuclear complex [Cu3(opba)(pmdta)2(NO3)](NO3) · 2MeCN (6) (opba = o-phenylene-bis(oxamato)). The crystal structures of 4-7 were solved. The magnetic properties of 6 and 7 were studied by susceptibility measurements versus temperature. For the intramolecular J parameter, values of −89 cm−1 (6) and −113 cm−1 (7) were obtained. The different J values are discussed based on the crystal structures of 6 and 7.  相似文献
