南方山荷叶中甸居群繁殖生物学研究   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
对分布于云南中甸地区南方山荷叶进行的繁殖生物学研究结果表明 :南方山荷叶有性生殖良好 ,性成熟个体的花在开花前一年 7月末 8月初开始分化并以休眠芽的形式度过冬天及早春 ;花在次年春天开放并在植株露出地面 1 0 d之后进行传粉 ;每个体有花 3~ 2 8朵 ,每花有胚珠 1~ 1 7枚 ,每个体有胚珠 40~ 2 0 2枚 ;在自然条件下南方山荷叶传粉方式为异花授粉 (但自交可育 ) ,其传粉昆虫为叶蜂类和甲虫类 ;天然居群具有较高的结实率 ( 58.3%~1 0 0 .0 % ) ,每个体有果实 3~ 2 6枚 ,每果实有种子 0~ 1 1粒 ,平均结籽率为 60 .41 % ,每个体平均种子产量 47.0 5。南方山荷叶常可通过根状茎进行营养繁殖形成无性系植株。人工繁殖时既可用种子繁殖 ,亦可用切割根状茎来进行营养繁殖。  相似文献

狼毒 (Stellera chamaejasme)为瑞香科多年生草本植物 ,是主要的草地有毒植物种类之一。采用邻接格子样方法和分布指数 (DI)以及平均拥挤度 (m* )指标 ,研究了内蒙古西辽河平原北部典型草原区内的狼毒 (Stellera chamaejasme)种子种群分布格局强度、类型与规模 ;根据顺序远离母株的取样调查 ,定量地分析了狼毒种子在 8个方向上的散布格局。结果表明 ,狼毒种子在落种期之前为随机分布 ,而在落种期结束后为聚集分布 ,种子种群斑块大小平均为 0 .0 8m2 。狼毒种子在 8个方向上的散布表现为不同的散布格局模式。在不同方向随着累积面积增加狼毒种子散布数量变化符合 L ogistic曲线增长。各方向种子散布数量与顺风风向频率显著正相关。狼毒种群具有“近母株散布”的种子散布机制 ,基本散布半径为 0~ 5 0 cm。狼毒种群通过种子散布扩展其分布空间的能力是很有限的  相似文献

花楸树种子散布、萌发与种群天然更新的关系   总被引:3,自引:1,他引:2  
花楸树是我国东北林区重要的非木质资源树种,其实生天然更新不良.本文通过研究花楸树种子散布、土壤种子库及种子萌发出土过程,分析花楸树实生天然更新的影响因素.结果表明:自然散落的花楸树果实96.1%分布于母株2 m范围内,凋落物层和土壤表层(0~2 cm)的种子数占土壤种子库总数的97.0%;不同季节花楸树土壤种子库种子数量差别很大,当年11月上旬种子数量最多,达(257.7±69.2)粒·m-2;翌年7月下旬种子数量最少,仅为(2.9±2.9)粒·m-2;温度不是花楸树种子萌发出土过程的限制因子,0 ℃~5 ℃时幼苗出苗率达(67.5±6.6)%,但对其出苗速率影响显著.土壤含水量为50%时,花楸树出苗率最高,达(74.7±4.2)%;含水量为60%时,幼苗死亡率最低,为(32.6±0.6)%.花楸树种子的散布格局和土壤种子库的时空分布格局影响种子的萌发出土过程,进而影响其种群的天然更新.  相似文献

对药用植物桃儿七5个不同种群种子产量的研究表明:各种群中每花平均胚珠数、每果实平均种子数及种群平均结实率与种群所在的海拔高度呈正相关;不同种群个体平均胚珠数的变异范围为58.97-87.97,平均种子数变异范围为40.02-80.58,平均结籽率变异范围为61.29%-91.60%;果料内单粒种子平均干重与种群分布海拔呈明显负相关,与果实内种子数呈弱负相关;同一种群在不同年份间平均各上子产量差异不大;种子产量除主要受个体营养状况影响外,还受海拔及其它因素的影响;果实内种子数与果实大小及重量呈正相关,但单粒种子平均重量与果实大小及果实内种子总重量无显著相关。  相似文献

都江堰林区取食樱桃果实(种子)的鸟类及其种子扩散作用   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
樱桃(Prunus pseudocerasus)是广泛分布于我国亚热带常绿阔叶林内的一种重要核果植物。为了解食果鸟类在樱桃种群更新中的作用,于2007年和2008年在四川都江堰亚热带常绿阔叶林内研究了取食樱桃果实(种子)的鸟类及其种子扩散作用。研究表明,樱桃成熟果实的下落高峰发生在4月下旬至5月上旬;2007年的种子扩散率为4.0%±1.0%,明显低于2008年(27.7%±5.7%)。在研究地内,发现至少有16种鸟取食樱桃果实或种子,根据其对果实和种子的处理方式分为3个功能群:白头鹎(Pycnontus sinensis)、领雀嘴鹎(Spizixos semitorques)、黑鹎(Hypisipetes leucocephalus)、白颊噪鹛(Garrulax snnio)、红嘴蓝鹊(Urocissa erythorhyncha)等10种鸟吞食樱桃果实,而种子通过消化道末端排出并将种子携至远离母树的地方,是重要的种子扩散者;暗绿绣眼鸟(Alcippe morrisonia)和灰眶雀鹛(Zosterops iaponicus)等4种鸟主要啄食果肉而将种子丢弃在母树下,为啄食果肉者;而普通朱雀(Carpopacus erythrinus)和灰头鸦雀(Paradoxornis gularis)则主要取食种子,为纯粹的种子捕食者。在吞食樱桃果实的食果鸟中,3种鹎科鸟类访问频次所占的比例达55.3%(2007年)和35.3%(2008年),说明鹎科鸟类是都江堰林区樱桃种子的主要扩散者,对樱桃种群的空间格局和自然更新可能有重要影响。  相似文献

植物在群落内正常生长发育的标志是能够完成从种子发芽到种子散布这一完整的生活周期。植物种子的散布,无论是通过风、动物、果实开裂弹力或者其它形式落到地面,均如同大气降雨一样,具有随机性和量的问题。Harper(1977)根据多年来对植物种群动态、特别是有关种子散布的深入研究,提出了种子雨(seedrain)这一概念。不过,Harper的工作主要是在种群水平上进行的。本项研究是在群落水平上进行的。迄今在我国,尚未见有关草本植物群落种子雨的论著。笔者以草原典型群落类型为对象,探讨了草本植物群落种子雨的研  相似文献

观察了广东八甲地区鸟类对猪血木种子的散布过程,对散布效果及其在幼苗建立、种群恢复以及保护生物学中的意义进行了分析。结果表明,猪血木种子通过鸟类和重力散布,但以鸟类散布为主;猪血木种子萌发的关键是种子能否从浆果暴露出来;鸟类对猪血木种子散布的意义在于破碎果实,暴露种子。由于人类活动的干扰,散布区内许多土地已异质化,一些种子被散布到无法萌发的环境中,限制了鸟类散布的效果。由于鸟类散布在猪血木幼苗建立和分布区扩张方面具有重要意义,因此在对猪血木进行保护时,除保护生境外还必须注意对鸟类进行保护。  相似文献

分析发全缘金粟兰弥勒居群的繁殖生物学,对其居群结构,花发育、有性主无性繁殖过程进行了较为仔细的观察分析。结果显示,全缘金粟兰主要分布在具有良好常绿阔叶叶林分布之山谷的北坡,个体在居群内呈群聚式分布。在自然条件下,全缘金粟兰以有性生殖为主,居群更新良好,由种子萌发至性成熟约需3-4年的时间,性成熟株株具有1条顶生和有时具有2或4条侧生的穗状花序。居群内平均每个个体可有1.91条花序,每条花序平均可有  相似文献

阐述了齿瓣石斛的生物学特性及资源情况。为附生草本植物,主要分布于热带、亚热带温暖湿润地区,高温环境下茎条细长,低温(1℃以下)容易受冻,为冬季落叶型石斛。自然条件下,齿瓣石斛繁殖方式包括有性繁殖和营养繁殖,有性繁殖对环境要求严格,果实种子量大,为明显的“以量取胜”繁殖,是扩大种群分布范围的主要途径;营养繁殖分合轴生长和高芽繁殖,合轴生长形成并壮大株丛,有春秋两个萌芽峰期,而高芽是扦插、压条繁殖的保证。野生资源过度采摘、生境破坏与植树造林、繁殖特性缺陷、人工种植产业发展缓慢、供需矛盾突出等是齿瓣石斛野生资源濒危的主要原因。应制定相关政策,加强野生资源保护,推进齿瓣石斛工厂化育苗,并积极开展种子自然繁殖技术研究,降低种苗培育成本,加快规模化种植产业发展,实现齿瓣石斛资源的可持续利用。  相似文献

肉质果植物通常依赖食果鸟类等取食果实后经消化道过程传播种子, 以完成种群的更新。红楠(Machilus thunbergii)是亚热带森林的代表性种类, 其果实具有依赖鸟类等动物取食后传播的特点。2012 年、2013 年在梅花山国家级自然保护区,研究了鸟类对红楠果实的取食及种子的传播作用。结果如下: 取食红楠种实的鸟类共计18 种, 其中整吞果实的鸟类12 种,啄取果肉的鸟类5 种, 啄食种子的鸟类1 种。整吞果实鸟类中4 种鹎科和2 种鸦科鸟类访问频次和取食量较大, 是主要的种子传播者。鸟类主要以呕吐方式传播种子。取食后初停栖点与母树距离及地面种子散布地点的分析结果表明, 鸟类可以远距离扩散种子。地面种实可被啮齿动物或蚁类再次捕食或搬运。研究表明, 红楠可以借助鸟类实现种子传播和种群更新。  相似文献

Sexual and vegetative reproduction of clonal plants phenotypically differ in dispersal distance, in the phenology of offspring production and establishment, and in the success of establishment. We applied a combination of analytical and of spatially explicit individual-based simulation modelling to calculate long-term fitness. We predicted optimal clonal plant life histories in a parameter space spanned by stolon number, stolon internode length, and relative allocation to sexual and vegetative reproduction. For a given allocation to sexual reproduction and number of stolons, fitness was optimised for rather short internode lengths under small disturbances, and for the longest possible internodes under larger disturbances. A trade-off between length and number of vegetative spacers drew parameters away from their unrestricted optima. Now, intermediate length and number of spacers led to maximum fitness under large disturbances. Simultaneous trade-offs between sexual and vegetative reproduction and between the length and number of spacers could also lead to fitness optima at intermediate parameter values, depending on the success of seedling establishment. We demonstrated that spatial habitat structure (1) selects for an efficient use of available space either by optimum internode length or by investment into seeds, which disperse farther than vegetative spacers, and (2) leads to an interaction between trade-offs. We conclude, that dispersal distance, i.e. a spatial life-history component, and trade-offs must be included in considerations on adaptive evolution of clonal life histories.  相似文献

Propagation, whether sexual or asexual, is a fundamental step in the life cycle of every organism. In lichenized fungi, a great variety of vegetative propagules have evolved in order for the symbiotic partners to disperse simultaneously. For lichens with the ability of sexual and asexual reproduction, the relative contribution of vegetative dispersal is unknown but could, nonetheless, be inferred by studying genotype distribution. The genetic structure of three Lobaria pulmonaria (Lobariaceae) populations from Switzerland was investigated based on the observed variation at six microsatellite loci. All three populations had a clustered distribution of identical genotypes at small spatial scales. The maximum distance between identical genotypes was 230 m. At a distance of 350 m from a source tree, seemingly suitable habitat patches were too far apart to be colonized. Some multilocus genotypes were frequent within local populations but no genotypes were shared among populations. The restricted occurrences of common genotypes as well as the clustered distributions are evidence for a limited dispersal of vegetative propagules in L. pulmonaria. Gene flow among isolated populations will ultimately depend on the capacity of long-distance dispersal and thus probably depend on sexual reproduction.  相似文献

We analyze the joint evolution of an ecological character and of dispersal distance in asexual and sexual populations inhabiting an environmental gradient. Several interesting phenomena resulting from the evolutionary interplay of these characters are revealed. First, asexual and sexual populations exhibit two analogous evolutionary regimes, in which either speciation in the ecological character occurs in conjunction with evolution of short-range dispersal, or dispersal distance remains high and speciation does not occur. Second, transitions between these two regimes qualitatively differ between asexual and sexual populations, with the former showing speciation with long-range dispersal and the latter showing no speciation with short-range dispersal. Third, a phenotypic gradient following the environmental gradient occurs only in the last case, i.e., for non-speciating sexual populations evolving towards short-range dispersal. Fourth, the transition between the evolutionary regimes of long-range dispersal with no speciation and short-range dispersal with speciation is typically abrupt, mediated by a positive feedback between incipient speciation and the evolution of short-range dispersal. Fifth, even though the model of sexual evolution analyzed here does not permit assortative mating preferences, speciation occurs for a surprisingly wide range of conditions. This illustrates that dispersal evolution is a powerful alternative to preference evolution in enabling spatially distributed sexual populations to respond to frequency-dependent disruptive selection.  相似文献

It has been proposed that long-distance dispersal of mosses to the Hawaiian Islands rarely occurs and that the Hawaiian population of the allopolyploid peat moss Sphagnum palustre probably resulted from a single dispersal event. Here, we used microsatellites to investigate whether the Hawaiian population of the dioicous S. palustre had a single founder and to compare its genetic diversity to that found in populations of S. palustre in other regions. The genetic diversity of the Hawaiian population is comparable to that of larger population systems. Several lines of evidence, including a lack of sporophytes and an apparently restricted natural distribution, suggest that sexual reproduction is absent in the Hawaiian plants. In addition, all samples of Hawaiian S. palustre share a genetic trait rare in other populations. Time to most recent ancestor (TMRCA) analysis indicates that the Hawaiian population was probably founded 49-51 kyr ago. It appears that all Hawaiian plants of S. palustre descend from a single founder via vegetative propagation. The long-term viability of this clonal population coupled with the development of significant genetic diversity suggests that vegetative propagation in a moss does not necessarily preclude evolutionary success in the long term.  相似文献

We asked whether differences in abundance and seed prodtiction of Brachypodium pinnatum after 16 yr of four different experimental land use regimes were reflected in differences in vegetative dispersal distance, clone diversity, clone area, and the proportions of sexual and vegetative recruitment. Mean vegetative dispersal distance was 5.5 mm yr'. Electrophoresis of 5 polymorphic isozyme loci of 20 tillers sampled at defined positions in each of twelve 1 × 6 m sampling areas (3 per treatment) revealed considerable clonal diversity. Per sampling area we found on average 9.98 enzyme phenotypes (clones), mean Simpson index was 0.825. and mean Shannon index 0.801. The mean ratio of sexual vs vegetative recruitment was about 1:32000. Despite this low ratio, clonal diversity within the population of" B. pinnatum was higher than reported for other clonal plant populations, possibly because of its high ramet densities. Moan clone area was 5.73 m2-. i.e. mean clone radius was 1.35 m. None of the 10 pairwise correlations between abundance and seed production on the one hand, and number of clones per plot sample, plot Simpson index, plot Shannon index, ratio of vegetative vs sexual recruitment, and clone area on the other, was significant. Mean clone radius was 245 times larger than the mean distance of yearly vegetative dispersal which suggests old ages and low turnover rates of clones. The time scale of the inert response of clonal diversity of B. pinnatum to changes in land use appears to largely exceed the experimental period of 16 yr.  相似文献

Dispersal modulates gene flow throughout a population's spatial range. Gene flow affects adaptation at local spatial scales, and consequently impacts the evolution of reproductive isolation. A recent theoretical investigation has demonstrated that local adaptation along an environmental gradient, facilitated by the evolution of limited dispersal, can lead to parapatric speciation even in the absence of assortative mating. This and other studies assumed unconditional dispersal, so individuals start dispersing without regard to local environmental conditions. However, many species disperse conditionally; their propensity to disperse is contingent upon environmental cues, such as the degree of local crowding or the availability of suitable mates. Here, we use an individual-based model in continuous space to investigate by numerical simulation the relationship between the evolution of threshold-based conditional dispersal and parapatric speciation driven by frequency-dependent competition along environmental gradients. We find that, as with unconditional dispersal, parapatric speciation occurs under a broad range of conditions when reproduction is asexual, and under a more restricted range of conditions when reproduction is sexual. In both the asexual and sexual cases, the evolution of conditional dispersal is strongly influenced by the slope of the environmental gradient: shallow environmental gradients result in low dispersal thresholds and high dispersal distances, while steep environmental gradients result in high dispersal thresholds and low dispersal distances. The latter, however, remain higher than under unconditional dispersal, thus undermining isolation by distance, and hindering speciation in sexual populations. Consequently, the speciation of sexual populations under conditional dispersal is triggered by a steeper gradient than under unconditional dispersal. Enhancing the disruptiveness of frequency-dependent selection, more box-shaped competition kernels dramatically lower the speciation-enabling slope of the environmental gradient.  相似文献

Most evolutionary models of dispersal have concentrated on dispersal rate, with emigration being either global or restricted to nearest neighbours. Yet most organisms fall into an intermediate region where most dispersal is local but there is a wide range of dispersal distances. We use an individual-based model with 2500 patches each with identical local dynamics and show that the dispersal distance is under selection pressure. The dispersal distance that evolves is critically dependent on the ecological dynamics. When the cost of dispersal increases linearly with distance, selection is for short-distance dispersal under stable and damped local dynamics but longer distance dispersal is favoured as local dynamics become more complex. For the cases of stable, damped and periodic patch dynamics global patch synchrony occurs even with very short-distance dispersal. Increasing the scale of dispersal for chaotic local dynamics increases the scale of synchrony but global synchrony does not neccesarily occur. We discuss these results in the light of other possible causes of dispersal and argue for the importance of incorporating non-equilibrium population dynamics into evolutionary models of dispersal distance.  相似文献

Differences in the reproductive mode (sexual and vegetative reproduction) between populations of a species may produce diverse patterns of genetic structure within and among populations. We analyzed the clonal diversity of populations of a heterostylous plant (Nymphoides indica (L.) Kuntze) having different floral morph ratios in the Higashi-harima area of Japan. The number of MLGs (multilocus genotypes) in populations with equal floral morph ratios was significantly higher than that among populations with biased floral morph ratios and among monomorphic populations. Populations with equal floral morph ratios followed the Hardy–Weinberg equilibrium. A dispersal distance of 0–4.2 km was significantly correlated with Nei's genetic distance, supporting a stepping-stone model of dispersal. Four rare MLGs were included in populations with equal floral morph ratios, distributed among neighboring populations. We concluded that clonal diversity of N. indica in the Higashi-harima area is maintained by the success of seed production and establishment of seedlings, and by the proximate occurrence of habitats around the populations where successful sexual reproduction occurs.  相似文献

Speciation problems are reviewed in the context of biogeography of fresh-water algae. Currently accepted species concept in phycology is based on morphological characters, and according to this concept, most freshwater algal species are considered cosmopolitan. This implies whether they have a highly efficient means of dispersal or their morphological characters are very static through a long evolutionary time. Recent studies of reproductive isolation show that some biological species of fresh-water algae are not so static or may not have such a high power of dispersal means, though some are indeed very static in morphological characters. The life cycle of most freshwater algae is composed of a vegetative cycle of growth and reproduction and a sexual cycle of gametic fusion and meiosis in the zygote, which forms a dormant spore-like structure. Since any freshwater habitat is ephemeral in terms of evolutionary time scale, each species has a capacity of forming germlings from a dormant cell in order to recycle its life history. The genome of freshwater algae, therefore, contains various coadapted gene systems, at least two, for the vegetative and for the sexual cycle. Homothallism and heterothallism are two contrasting mating systems that represent two opposing ways of life to harmonize antagonism between the vegetative stage of growth and reproduction and the sexual and dormant stage. Geographic and ecological distribution, polyploidy, and sex determination are discussed in conjunction with sexual and postzygotic isolating mechanisms.  相似文献

川产八角莲中鬼臼毒素的分离鉴定及含量测定   总被引:5,自引:1,他引:4  
为了寻找和开发抗癌药的半合成原料鬼臼毒素,我们对川产八角莲的化学成分进行了研究。从川八角莲[Dysosma veitchii(Hemsl et wils)Fu.]的根茎中分离得到一种单体成分,经薄层对照,熔点,UV,IR,MS和H’—NMR测定,证明为鬼臼毒素(Podophyllo-toxin)。同时,作者采用薄层层析—紫外分光光度法,对川八角莲和小八角莲[D.difformis(Hernsl et wils)T.H·wang ]中的鬼臼毒素进行了含量测定,分别为0.057%和0.15%。为进一步开发利用鬼臼类植物提供了科学依据。  相似文献
