Biofilms are sessile microbial aggregates on the interfaces, and they were usually considered as microbial contamination sources in medical care and various industries. We studied the control and application of biofilms formed by food-related microorganisms, and mechanism of the biofilm formation was also investigated. We studied the biofilm formation in mixed cultures using various combinations of two strains of food-related microorganisms. There were various microorganisms that showed decreased or increased biofilm formation in the mixed culture in comparison with that in a single culture. Biofilm formed by lactic acid bacteria and yeast isolated from traditional fermented food, Fukuyama pot vinegar, exhibited unique feature in that structure and formation mechanism, and expected to be used as an immobilized microorganism in fermentation production. Here our studies on the control and application of biofilms and the mechanisms of its formation were described.  相似文献

The molecular structure of polyhydroxybutyrate from hydrogen-oxidizing bacteria Alcaligenes eutrophus was studied by X-ray diffraction analysis. It was shown that the degree of crystallinity of various samples depends little on the conditions of their preparation and is equal to 0.62-0.76. The molecular structure of solid samples and solution of polyhydroxybutyrate in chloroform were studied by the NMR and EPR methods. The conclusion is made that the molecular structure of polyhydroxybutyrate does not depend on the features of the strain and conditions of carbon nutrition of microorganisms producing polyhydroxybutyrate. Defects induced by gamma-radiation in polyhydroxybutyrate were studied. Free radicals were isolated, and their structure was decoded.  相似文献

The effect of betulin derivatives on persistence properties of microorganisms was studied in vitro. It was shown that the antipersistence action of the betulin derivatives depended on their structure and the microbial species. The experimental data on the structure - function relation could be useful in development and synthesis of new agents for therapy of chronic infections associated with persistence of bacterial pathogens in macroorganism.  相似文献

【目的】新疆油田六中区为典型水驱普通稠油油藏,水驱效果较差,油藏具有丰富的内源微生物,本研究通过分析内源微生物驱油对油藏微生物活动的影响,确定内源微生物驱油技术在该类油藏的应用潜力。【方法】采用高通量测序及分析化学技术,系统研究实施内源微生物驱油技术后油藏细菌群落结构组成、细菌总数和功能菌群的浓度以及采出液的流体性质,总结内源微生物驱油对油藏微生物活动的影响。【结果】现场试验注入激活剂和空气后,内源微生物被显著激活,细菌群落结构发生明显变化,细菌总数及功能菌群浓度普遍提高了2–3个数量级;各种内源微生物代谢活动显著增强,与地层流体相互作用后,原油明显被乳化,最终石油采收率提高5.2%。【结论】对于内源微生物较为丰富的水驱普通稠油油藏,内源微生物驱油技术对油藏微生物活动的影响显著,具有显著的技术优势和较大的应用潜力,微生物群落结构、功能菌群浓度及其相关代谢产物可以作为评价内源微生物驱油现场激活效果的重要指标,为其他内源微生物驱油现场试验提供技术参考。  相似文献

Dynamics of the taxonomic structure of epiphytic bacterial communities of the rhizosphere and phyllosphere of seven weed species was studied. The major types of isolated organisms were identified using phenotypic and molecular biological approaches. Dispersion analysis revealed that the ontogenesis stage and plant organ were the factors with the greatest effect on the taxonomic structure of the communities. The dominant microorganisms of weeds were similar to those of cultivated plants. The minor components revealed in the spectra of bacterial communities of weeds belonged to poorly studied genera of chemolithotrophic proteobacteria.  相似文献

The possibility to regulate the structure of a community using a variational model of the ecological community was studied. The dependences of relative numbers of microorganisms on the initial ratios of resources of nutrients in environment were obtained. The potential possibility of controlling the community structure was shown. Model calculations and experimental data obtained on a community of Chlorococcales indicated that, as the ratios of resources vary, a change of the dominating species takes place.  相似文献

Fructooligosaccharides (FOS) are prebiotic substances found in several vegetable or natural foods. The main commercial production of FOS comes from enzymatic transformation of sucrose by the microbial enzyme fructosyltransferase. The development of more efficient enzymes, with high activity and stability, is required and this has attracted the interest of biotechnologists and microbiologists with production by several microorganisms being studied. The medicinal resistance of Salmonella strains isolated on the territory of the Moldavian SSR in 1985 was studied. The greatest number of multiresistant microorganisms was shown to occur among S. java, S. virchow and S. infantis, i.e. the serovars dominating in the etiological structure of Salmonella infections on this territory. The seasonal distribution of cases of Salmonella infections and the age structure of patients with these infections induced by multiresistant strains and antibiotic-sensitive strains were found to have essential differences.  相似文献

The microbial communities and their degradative potential in rhizospheres of alfalfa (Medicago sativa) and reed (Phragmites australis) and in unplanted soil in response to bitumen contamination of soil were studied in pot experiments. According to the results of fluorescence microscopy, over a period of 27 months, bitumen contamination of soil reduced the total number of microorganisms more significantly (by 75%) in unplanted than in rhizosphere soil (by 42% and 7% for reed and alfalfa, respectively) and had various effects on some important physiological groups of microorganisms such as actinomycetes as well as nitrogen-fixing, nitrifying, denitrifying, ammonifying, phosphate-solubilizing, sulphur-oxidizing, cellulolytic and hydrocarbon-degrading microorganisms. The changes in the physiological structure of the microbial community under bitumen contamination were found to hinge on not merely the presence of plants but also their type. It was noted that the rhizosphere microflora of alfalfa was less inhibited by hydrocarbon pollution and had a higher degradative potential than the rhizosphere microflora of reed.  相似文献

The structure and functioning of decomposer systems heavily relies on soil moisture. However, this has been primarily studied in temperate ecosystems; little is known about how soil moisture affects the microfaunal food web in tropical regions. This lack of knowledge is surprising, since the microfaunal food web controls major ecosystem processes. To evaluate the role of precipitation in the structure of soil food web components (i.e., microorganisms and testate amoebae), we excluded water input by rain in montane rainforests at different altitudes in Ecuador. Rain exclusion strongly reduced microbial biomass and respiration by about 50?%, and fungal biomass by 23?%. In testate amoebae, rain exclusion decreased the density of live cells by 91?% and caused a shift in species composition at each of the altitudes studied, with ergosterol concentrations, microbial biomass, and water content explaining 25?% of the variation in species data. The results document that reduced precipitation negatively affects soil microorganisms, but that the response of testate amoebae markedly exceeds that of bacteria and fungi. This suggests that, in addition to food, low precipitation directly affects the community structure of testate amoebae, with the effect being more pronounced at lower altitudes. Overall, the results show that microorganisms and testate amoebae rapidly respond to a reduction in precipitation, with testate amoebae—representatives of higher trophic levels—being more sensitive. The results imply that precipitation and soil moisture in tropical rainforests are the main factors regulating decomposition and nutrient turnover.  相似文献

It has been found that microorganisms in cryogenic soils of Yakutia are resistant to the long-term impact of cesium and thorium. The number of microorganisms in the studied ecological–trophic groups does not depend on the concentrations of radioactive elements. Differences in the number of microorganisms are determined by the physicochemical conditions that are created in different horizons of the soils studied. The long-term impact of radiation (for 36 and 66 years) on microorganisms inhabiting the permafrost soils of Yakutia has developed their adaptive capacity to high concentrations of these radioactive elements.  相似文献

目前我国油田开发主要处于高含水后期,微生物驱提高石油采收率技术(MEOR)以低成本、环境友好等独特的优势引起了石油工业界的重视。实际上,经过半个多世纪的发展,MEOR已经成为提高采收率的重要前沿技术。高压是油藏的主要环境特征,在影响油藏微生物生存与活性等方面具有重要作用。本文从油藏及其微生物的主要特征、微生物对高压环境的适应机制以及高压下微生物降解烃的代谢特征等方面进行了综述。介绍了对油藏微生物资源、群落结构、微生物在油水相中分布的认识,微生物乳化原油机制,以及微生物在油藏厌氧环境中协同代谢、受温度和压力影响的特点,并列举了MEOR的矿场应用。在高压适应机制上,微生物主要通过改变和调整细胞膜结构、增加胞内脂质组分和表达胞内特殊酶等作用来实现对压力的适应;在高压下烃降解微生物代谢速率低于常压,而且耐压菌和嗜压菌具有不同的烃降解效率。  相似文献

The nitrogen-fixating and cellobiohydrolase activity, the nitrogen (N) and carbon (C) contents, and the number of microorganisms in the prestomach, cecum, and colon of two vole species were studied: the southern vole (Microtus rossiaemeridionalis) and the bank vole (Clethrionomys glareolus), which is characterized by a mixed type of diet. The nitrogen-fixating activity in the cecum was found to be the highest in the voles compared with the mammals studied earlier. The seasonal dynamics of both nitrogenase and cellobiohydrolase activities was registered in the southern vole. The structure of the microbial complex in the southern vole is more varied and includes microorganisms associated with plant substrates.  相似文献

The structural and functional diversity of the main ecological trophic groups of soil microorganisms in meadow soils of the Central Urals anthropogenically contaminated with heavy metals was studied. The increase in the total numbers of these microorganisms in technozems, in comparison with those in agrozems, is due to the higher abundance of iron-reducing, denitrifying, nitrogen-fixing, and sulfate-reducing bacteria, an increase in cellulolytic activity, and the dependence of these characteristics on the toxic load of the soil. A reductive structure of the microbial community with the predominance of r-strategists, which reflects earlier stages of microbiocenoses succession under soil contamination, is formed under soil pollution with heavy metals.  相似文献

The conversion of zearalenone by various microorganisms was studied. A new polar metabolite was formed in addition to alpha- and beta-zearalenols. The structure of the new metabolite was determined as zearalenone-4-O-sulfate conjugate on the basis of enzymatic and acid hydrolysis, followed by mass spectrometry, nuclear magnetic resonance, and infrared spectroscopic analysis. The results obtained demonstrate that Rhizopus arrhizus catalyzes sulfation of zearalenone at the C-4 hydroxyl group.  相似文献

Increased carbon translocation to the rhizosphere via 'leakage' induced by low amounts of plant parasitic nematodes can foster microorganisms. The effects of the root-knot nematode Meloidogyne incognita on microbial biomass (C(mic)) and community structure (phospholipid fatty acids) in the rhizosphere of barley were studied. Inoculation densities of 2000, 4000, and 8000 nematodes were well below the threshold level for plant damage. A (13)CO(2) pulse-labelling was performed to assess the distribution of assimilated (13)C in the rhizosphere. Infection with M. incognita increased the carbon concentration in shoots, and enhanced root biomass slightly. The presence of nematodes did not affect microbial biomass, but significantly changed the allocation of the recent photosynthate. Less plant carbon was sequestered by microorganisms with increasing nematode abundance. Microbial community structure was distinctly altered in the early stages of the plant-nematode interactions. Both, bacteria and fungi, showed a positive response with 2000, and a negative one with 4000 and 8000 M. incognita added. The results suggest that low-level root herbivory still imposes a considerable carbon demand, and that proliferation of microorganisms due to increased rhizodeposition may be short-termed. The carbon flow to rhizosphere microbial communities is likely dependent on the specific nematode-plant association and the developmental stage of the nematode in the host.  相似文献
