The aim of study was to track a cumulative changes of amplitude-time parametres of components N1, N2 and P300 of acoustic evoked potential in experimental situations different in complexity (at the account and listening of sounds) and to compare the received distinctions at examinees of young and mature age. ERP were recorded at 12 healthy subjects from 18 to 22 ages and 12 subjects from 32 to 59 ages. The two-stimuli oddball paradigm was used. It is revealed that components N1, N2 and P300 recorded in the situation of the listenings of sounds without any preliminary instruction do not differ at persons of young and mature age. At examinees of younger age the biger amplitude of component N1 is noted at the account of sounds in comparison with listening whereas the latency of the one do not change depending on complexity of the task. It is shown that component N2 has stability of latency in relation to age and an experimental situation. The amplitude of component N2 is above at the account of sounds in both age groups. The amplitude-time parametres of component P300 do not differ at examinees of different age in a problem of listening of sounds. The revealed features of components N1, N2 and P300 at examinees of young and mature age in experimental situations different in complexity, allow to assume that with the years at the person adaptive mechanisms which allow carrying out successfully of the task.  相似文献

The localization and the order of triggering of the equivalent dipole sources of the auditory evoked potential (AEP) P300 component were analyzed in healthy subjects performing tasks that required different degrees of concentration. The AEP P300 was isolated and analyzed in 12 subjects aged 18–23 years. The P300 was recorded via 19 channels in mono- and bimodal tasks using two- and three-stimulus methods of the oddball paradigm. Analysis of the equivalent dipole sources of the P300 component upon hearing sounds showed simultaneous activity of dipole sources located in the temporal areas of both hemispheres and in the right frontal area, as well as in the brainstem, irrespective of the task’s complexity. The counting of sounds in the monomodal task was accompanied by consecutive involvement of the left temporal, right temporal, and left frontal sources in the P300 generation; in the bimodal task, these were, respectively, the left parietal, right temporal and hippocampal, and left frontal sources.  相似文献

Summary.  This review article focuses on the synthesis and reactions of N,N-di-Boc glutamate and aspartate semialdehydes as well as related aldehydes. These building blocks are prepared according to various strategies from glutamic and aspartic acids and find interesting synthetic applications. In the first part, the methods for the synthesis of N,N-di-Boc-amino aldehydes are summarized. The applications of these chiral synthons for the synthesis of unnatural amino acids and other bioactive compounds are discussed in the second section. In vitro regeneration of black nightshade (Solanum nigrum L.) plants was achieved through callus-mediated shoot organogenesis followed by 30 d indoor ex vitro adaptation to nutritional stress under environmental ambience and thereafter 6-d outdoor acclimatization in pots prior to field establishment. Relevant physiological parameters including pigment content, chlorophyll a fluorescence, net photosynthetic rate (P N), transpiration rate (E), and stomatal conductance (g s) of in vitro-regenerated plants were investigated during the course of ex vitro adaptation. During the first 4 d of indoor transplantation to potting substrate, there was a marginal reduction in the leaf chlorophyll and carotenoid contents but P N and E were strongly reduced. The stomatal conductance and E/P N ratio were significantly higher in plants up to 20 d of indoor adaptation than those of comparable age grown naturally from seeds. The shape of the OJIP fluorescence transient varied significantly with acclimatization, and the maximum change was observed at 2.0 ms. The 2.0 ms variable fluorescence (V j), 30 ms relative fluorescence (M 0), photon trapping probability (TR0/Abs), and photosystem II (PSII) trapping rate (TR0/RC) showed initial disturbance and subsequent stabilization during 30 d of indoor acclimatization. Energy dissipation (DI0/RC) and electron transport probability (ET0/TR0) showed an initial phase of increase during the 4 d after plants were transplanted outdoors. During the 6-d outdoor acclimatization after transfer of plants to soil, no significant change in total chlorophylls and carotenoids, E, and g s were observed, but P N improved after reduction on the first d. The OJIP-derived parameters experienced change on the first d but were stabilized quickly thereafter. There was no significant difference between outdoor acclimatized plants and those of the seed-grown plants of comparable age with respect to photosynthetic and fluorescence parameters. Direct transfer of plants without indoor acclimatization, however, showed a completely different trend with respect to P N, E, and OJIP fluorescence transients. The bearing of this study on optimizing micropropagation is discussed.  相似文献

Photosynthetic rate (P N), SPAD value, specific leaf area (SLA), flag leaf area (FLA), and nitrogen content (LN) of genus Oryza were investigated and their correlation was analyzed to assess some of the main photosynthetic traits among different species in the genus Oryza. The results revealed wide variation in these traits. The species O. rufipogon and O. australiensis exhibited maximum photosynthetic rate. Comparison of different types of genomes (diploid: 2n=2x=24; tetraploid: 2n=4x=48) and growth habit (shade- or sun-grown) showed the species of diploid (with genome symbol EE; 2n=2x=24) genomes, with perennial and sun-grown species, had high apparent photosynthesis compared to others. The species with BB/BBCC, shade-grown and the tetraploids showed high SPAD value, and the flag leaf in sun-grown species and diploids were thicker (low SLA) compared with others. However, no significant difference could be noticed among the different types of genomes. Higher leaf area was noticed among the species of CC/CCDD genome, perennial shade-grown species and tetraploids than in others. The variety IR 36 exhibited highest leaf nitrogen concentration. Correlation analysis showed a strong relationship between P N and leaf nitrogen concentration while no marked relationships were observed among other characteristics. It implies that the species with thick and small leaves with high nitrogen concentration and high photosynthesis evolved better than others. O. rufipogon, with the same genome as O. sativa, could be one of the wild rice resources for elite crop improvement.  相似文献

The present study was carried out to elucidate the effectiveness of curcumin in mitigating the adverse effects caused by N-Methyl N-Nitrosourea (MNU) on mouse cerebellum and cerebrum. Male laca mice received either intravenous MNU treatment at a dose of 10 mg/kg bw in sterile double distilled water, curcumin alone 60 mg/kg bw in drinking water, or combined MNU and curcumin treatment on alternate days for a period of 2 months. The effects of different treatments were studied on carbohydrate metabolizing enzymes viz: hexokinase, glucose-6-phosphatase (G6P), glucose-6-isomerase (G6I), lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), succinate dehydrogenase (SDH) and glycogen levels. Curcumin supplementation to MNU treated mice was able to reduce significantly the activities of the G6P, G6I, hexokinase, LDH, SDH and increased the glycogen contents in both the regions of brain which were altered following MNU treatment. Hence, curcumin shall prove to be effective in ameliorating the adverse effects caused by MNU.  相似文献

An in vitro method for propagation of Holarrhena antidysenterica Wall. has been developed using nodal explants from mature trees growing in the field. Irrespective of concentrations and combinations of growth regulators used, the axillary and terminal buds sprouted and elongated when inoculated on Murashige and Skoog (MS) medium. The highest numbers of shoots were formed when sprouted shoots were subcultured from MS basal medium onto MS medium containing 2 mg dm−3 N6-benzyladenine (BA) and 0.5 mg dm−3 α-naphthalene acetic acid (NAA). The shoot number further increased upon subculture on MS medium containing 0.5 mg dm−3 BA. By repeated sub-culturing of shoots derived from nodal axillary buds, a high frequency multiplication rate was established. The elongated shoots were excised and rooted in auxin free MS basal medium. Ex vitro rooting of in vitro formed shoots was achieved upon dipping the microshoots for 2 min in 2 mg dm−3 of indole-3-butyric acid solution. Successful field establishment and high (80–90 %) survival of plants was observed.  相似文献

The influence of sugars and growth regulators on shoot and root growth of Dactylorhiza species was studied under in vitro conditions. The seedling development was stimulated with the application of glucose and sucrose at concentration of 10 g dm−3 each. The improvement of shoot growth rate and shoot length was enhanced by cytokinins N 6-(2-isopentenyl)adenine or N 6-benzyladenine and their combination with auxin indolebutyric acid (IBA). The root growth rate and root length of seedlings increased in the presence of IBA and α-naphthaleneacetic acid. Individual Dactylorhiza species showed statistically significant differences in shoot and root development depending on sugar and growth regulator combinations.  相似文献

The architecture of the musculature of the eutardigrade species Milnesium tardigradum Doyère, 1840, Hypsibius sp. and Ramazzottius oberhaeuseri (Doyère in Ann Sci Nat Zool Sér 2(14):269–369, 1840) is investigated by phalloidin staining and confocal laser scanning microscopy. There are methodological problems in staining eutardigrades due to physiological alterations under stress (anhydrobiosis) and due to penetration problems of the cuticle. It is helpful to fix specimens in the state of asphyxy, where animals are stretched following an oxygen shortage in their environment. The musculatures of all three species correspond in their general architecture, but differ in detail, such as in the number of muscles. All muscles are isolated muscle strands. There are on each body side two dorsal and one ventral muscle strands, in addition to a system of dorsoventral, lateral and lateroventral muscles. Seven median ventral attachment points give rise to dorsoventral, ventrolateral and appendage muscles. The appendages receive several muscles originating dorsally and ventrally. The number of muscles and the arrangement differ in each appendage. The fourth appendage shows the greatest differences with a far smaller number of muscles compared to other species. The musculature shows comparably few strict segmental patterns, for example, the musculature of each appendage differs from the other ones. By comparison with literature data on the same species and data of Macrobiotus hufelandi it can be shown that eutardigrades have a roughly comparable muscular architecture, but that there are several differences in detail. Approx. 70% of human therapeutic proteins are N-linked glycoproteins, and therefore host cells for production must contain the relevant protein modification machinery. The discovery and characterisation of the N-linked glycosylation pathway in the pathogenic bacterium Campylobacter jejuni, and subsequently its functional transfer to Escherichia coli, presents the opportunity of using prokaryotes as cell factories for therapeutic protein production. Not only could bacteria reduce costs and increase yields, but the improved feasibility to genetically control microorganisms means new and improved pharmacokinetics of therapeutics is an exciting possibility. This is a relatively new concept, and progress in bacterial N-glycosylation characterisation is reviewed and metabolic engineering targets revealed.  相似文献

Vitellogenin (Vg) is the precursor of the egg yolk glycoprotein of crustaceans. In the prawn Macrobrachium rosenbergii, Vg is synthesized in the hepatopancreas, secreted to the hemolymph, and taken up by means of receptor-mediated endocytosis into the oocytes. The importance of glycosylation of Vg lies in its putative role in the folding, processing and transport of this protein to the egg yolk and in the fact that the N-glycan moieties could provide a source of carbohydrate during embryogenesis. The present study describes, for the first time, the structure of the glycan moieties and their sites of attachment to the Vg of M. rosenbergii. Bioinformatics analysis revealed seven putative N-glycosylation sites in M. rosenbergii Vg; two of these glycosylation sites are conserved throughout the Vgs of decapod crustaceans from the Pleocyemata suborder (N 159 and N 660). The glycosylation of six putative sites of M. rosenbergii Vg (N 151, N 159, N ,168 N ,614 N 660 and N 2300) was confirmed; three of the confirmed glycosylation sites are localized around the N-terminally conserved N-glycosylation site N 159. From a theoretical three-dimensional structure, these three N-glycosylated sites N 151, N 159, and N 168 were localized on the surface of the Vg consensus sequence. In addition, an uncommon high mannose N-linked oligosaccharide structure with a glucose cap (Glc1Man9GlcNAc2) was characterized in the secreted Vg. These findings thus make a significant contribution to the structural elucidating of the crustacean Vg glycan moieties, which may shed light on their role in protein folding and transport and in recognition between Vg and its target organ, the oocyte.  相似文献

The correlations between the volumes of the caudate nucleus, putamen, amygdala, and hippocampus, on the one hand, and the P300 amplitude and latency of auditory evoked potentials, on the other hand, were studied in 14 schizophrenics. Significant positive correlations were found between the parameters of the late cognitive potential P300 (predominantly in the left hemisphere) and the caudate nucleus and putamen volumes, as well as between the right amygdala volume and the P300 amplitude in the left temporal region. The swan obtained by hybridization between Cygnus cygnus and C.olor was delivered to the Moscow Zoo from the Leningrad Zoo in 1989. Between 2002 and 2004, it permanently remained with a female whooper swan in a large pond. The two swans behaved as a breeding pair, although the sex of the hybrid bird remained unknown. We observed no courtship displays addressed by the hybrid swan either to the female whooper swan or to other swans living in the pond. The hybrid swan was exteriorly closer to C. cygnus rather than to C. olor and showed increased aggressiveness. Its threatening behavior was intermediate between parental species in terms of threat displays and motor activity, although behavioral patterns characteristic of C.olor prevailed. The most frequent sounds in the vocal repertoire of the hybrid swan were close to the vibrant throbbing call of C.olor in terms of duration and frequency range. In contrast to these sounds, the call of the hybrid swan was noiselike, with distinct harmonic structure (as in the whooper swan except for extremely narrow interharmonic intervals). These vocal signals of the hybrid swan were shown to be intermediate between those of the parental species. In addition, the acoustic repertoire of the hybrid swan included rarely emitted sounds closely resembling elements of vocalizations of both C. cygnus and C. olor.  相似文献

Lactic acid bacteria (LAB) are generally sensitive to hydrogen peroxide (H2O2), Lactobacillus sakei YSI8 is one of the very few LAB strains able to degrade H2O2 through the action of a heme-dependent catalase. Lactobacillus rhamnosus strains are very important probiotic starter cultures in meat product fermentation, but they are deficient in catalase. In this study, the effect of heterologous expression of L. sakei catalase gene katA in L. rhamnosus on its oxidative stress resistance was tested. The recombinant L. rhamnosus AS 1.2466 was able to decompose H2O2 and the catalase activity reached 2.85 μmol H2O2/min/108 c.f.u. Furthermore, the expression of the katA gene in L. rhamnosus conferred enhanced oxidative resistance on the host. The survival ratios after short-term H2O2 challenge were increased 600 and 104-fold at exponential and stationary phase, respectively. Further, viable cells were 100-fold higher in long-term aerated cultures. Simulation experiment demonstrated that both growth and catalase activity of recombinant L. rhamnosus displayed high stability under environmental conditions similar to those encountered during sausage fermentation.  相似文献

Increasing the ability to store mass-reared natural enemies during periods or seasons of low demand is a critical need of the biocontrol industry. We tested the hypothesis that chemicals can enhance long-term cold storage of a predatory mite Phytoseiulus persimilis Athias-Henriot. The research objective was to determine the effect of cryoprotectant and carbohydrate chemicals on in-storage survival of predators. In-storage survival at 8°C was greater for predators sprayed with glycerol (5%, v/v) or glucose (10% and 20%, v/v) than with water spray controls. After 74 days in the cryoprotectant experiment, predator survival declined to 11.5% in the 5% glycerol treatment and 7.8% in the water spray control. After 88 days in the carbohydrate experiment, predator survival declined to 22% in the 20% glucose treatment and 2% in the water spray control. Although many individuals expired within 50 days in both experiments, a few females survived more than 200 days. This research suggests that select cryoprotectants and carbohydrates have a limited capacity to facilitate long-term storage of P. persimilis.  相似文献

Acacia mangium microshoots from juvenile and mature genotypes were micropropagated through a regular subculture regime for more than 3 yr in vitro. Average multiplication rates of 5.5 for the juvenile source and of 3.9 for the mature clone were obtained during this period on the 6-benzylaminopurine-enriched multiplication medium. Although the juvenile material displayed higher potential for axillary shoot and root formation than the mature clone overall, the differences were not statistically significant with noticeable variations in the course of time from one subculture to another. On specific rooting media, the juvenile material rooted overall in greater proportions than the mature material, notwithstanding noteworthy interactions between the age of the plant material and the various experimental factors tested, i.e. sucrose concentration, macrosalt formulation and light regime. The stimulating effect of darkness on juvenile plant material rooting rates was more obvious than for the mature clone, which responded more inconsistently. Addition of 4 μM indole-3-acetic acid, indole-3-butyrie acid, or 1-naphthaleneacetic acid in the rooting medium significantly increased the proportion of rooted microshoots of both origins. The rooting criteria observed were also prone to vary depending on the experimental date. The data indicate that rooting of juvenile and mature Acacia mangium materials have average rates of 90% and 77%, respectively. These are high enough to consides possible applications of these procedures toward operational activities.  相似文献

There are three most important bacterial causative agents of serious infections that could be misused for warfare purposes: Bacillus anthracis (the causative agent of anthrax) is the most frequently mentioned one; however, Fracisella tularensis (causing tularemia) and Yersinia pestis (the causative agent of plague) are further bacterial agents enlisted by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention into the category A of potential biological weapons. This review intends to summarize basic information about these bacterial agents. Military aspects of their pathogenesis and the detection techniques suitable for field use are discussed.  相似文献
