In work on the basis of use functional and ergometric working capacity indicators specificity of power supply of muscular activity of healthy boys of 13-14 years (n = 162) with various at puberty stages (PSs). It is established, that the boys, being on II-IV PSs, considerably differ on indicators of power, capacity and efficiency of energy systems. Three groups of the bioenergy systems indicators differing on an orientation of their changes at teenagers depending on rates of puberty stages. The first group includes the physiological variables which most considerable levels are observed at children with high rates of development. All of them concern to anaerobic alactic and anaerobic glycolytic to components of physical working capacity. The second group unites the physiological variables which highest values are marked at teenagers with average rate of development, and the least--at children with the accelerated rate of maturing. These indicators reflect, mainly, set of aerobic possibilities of an organism. The third group includes the indicators which highest levels are marked at teenagers with low rate of development, and the least--at boys with the accelerated rate of maturing. They reflect the maximum aerobic power and endurance to power work. It is revealed, that teenagers of 13-14 years with average rates of development are characterised in comparison with children with the accelerated maturing, higher indicators of power and capacity of aerobic system of energy-supply, and in comparison to teenagers to the slowed down development--lower maximum aerobic power against higher capacity and profitability of functioning of aerobic system. Adolescents with average rates of maturing surpass also schoolboys with the accelerated and slowed down development concerning capacity of work in mixed anaerobic-aerobic a mode. In turn boys of 13-14 years with the accelerated development differ from schoolboys with the average and slowed down rates of maturing, high anaerobic productivity of an organism, rather low aerobic possibilities and increase of a tone of parasympathetic department of autonomic nervous system (AHC). The given circumstance is necessary for considering at realisation of the differentiated approach to rationing of loadings in the course of physical education and sports training of adolescents of 13-14 years.  相似文献

The characteristics of the physical state were studied in 13- to 14-year-old adolescents with high (n = 97) and low (n = 85) stress reactivities. The data showed that, during the period of sexual maturation, the development of the mechanisms of energy for muscular activity was heterochronic and nonlinear. Hyperreactive boys exhibited relatively high anaerobic nonlactic and low aerobic capacities of the body and enhanced physiological costs of the high-power function. In hyperreactive adolescents, the motor function was specifically characterized by a combination of a high level of movement speed and power and a relatively low level of general endurance. In 13- to 14-year-old adolescents, the differences in muscular working capacities and motor abilities, associated with various stress reactivity, appear during different sexual maturation stages (SMSs). At SMSs II and III, hyper- and hyporeactive adolescents exhibit higher indices of aerobic body capacities and relatively low anaerobic capacities as compared to the children at SMS IV. It is supposed that, in the hyperreactive adolescents, the efficiency of the mechanisms of body protection from hypoxia is lower.  相似文献

Sixteen girls were observed for five years during the age period from 7 to 11. The longitudinal study included the annual assessment of constitutional characteristics according to Shtefko-Ostrovskii and the calculation of endomorphy, mesomorphy, and ectomorphy indices from anthropometric data according to Heath-Carter. The indices of skeletal muscle power (aerobic capacity and power; anaerobic power, and power indexa) were determined in a two-load ergometric test using Muller’s equation. The girls demonstrated a 2.5-time more stable somatotype than boys. The most pronounced changes in their constitutional characteristics were observed between the ages of 8 and 9, i.e., a year earlier than in boys. These changes occurred only within the dolichomorphic and brachymorphic groups without transitions between somatotypes. In girls of all ages, the constitutional characteristics were in good correlation with skeletal muscle power. In general, dolichomorphs were characterized by high aerobic indices: their mean aerobic capacity was as high as 83.1 kJ/kg vs. 4.1 kJ/kg in brachymorphs, who showed preferential development of anaerobic mechanisms.  相似文献

Maximal aerobic power was measured for 5-6 successive years in 50 Japanese schoolboys starting from the age of 9 or 13 yr. and for 2-3 yr in 6 superior junior runners from the age of 14 yr. A large increase in aerobic power was observed during the adolescent growth spurt for 7 schoolboys who trained between the ages of 9 and 14 yr. Aerobic power for 43 average schoolboys increased from 45.0 to 52.2 ml/kg.min between the ages of 13 and 17 yr. The aerobic power of 6 superior junior runners increased from 63.4 to 73.4 ml/kg.min between the ages of 14 and 17 yr. A remarkable increase in aerobic power was not observed in trained boys before the age of peak height growth velocity (PHV). Beginning approximately 1 yr prior to the age of PHV and thereafter, training effectively increased aerobic power above the normal increase attributable to age and growth. The highly developed aerobic power found in superior junior runners may have been derived from strenuous training and partially by genetically superior endowment.  相似文献

This study examined the relationships between thigh muscle volume (TMV) and aerobic and anaerobic performance in children. A total of 32 children, 16 boys and 16 girls, aged 9.9 (0.3) years completed a treadmill running test to exhaustion for the determination of peak oxygen uptake (peak O2) and a Wingate Anaerobic Test (WAnT) for the determination of peak power (PP) and mean power (MP). The volume of the right thigh muscle was determined using magnetic resonance imaging. TMV was not significantly different in boys and girls [2.39 (0.29) l vs 2.18 (0.38) l, P > 0.05]. Peak O2 and MP were significantly higher in boys than girls (P < 0.01) whether expressed in absolute, mass-related or allometrically scaled terms. Absolute PP was not significantly different in boys and girls but mass-related and allometrically scaled values were higher in boys (P < 0.01). TMV was correlated with absolute peak O2, PP and MP in both sexes (r = 0.52–0.89, P < 0.01). In boys, mass-related PP was correlated with TMV (r =0.53, P < 0.01), and in girls mass-related peak O2 was correlated with TMV (r = −0.61, P < 0.01). However, in neither sex were allometrically scaled peak O2, PP or MP correlated with TMV (P > 0.05). There were no significant differences between boys and girls in terms of peak O2, PP or MP when expressed in a ratio to TMV or allometrically scaled TMV. In conclusion, this study has demonstrated that, when body size is appropriately accounted for using allometric scaling, TMV is unrelated to indices of aerobic and anaerobic power in 10-year-old children. Furthermore, there appear to be no qualitative differences in the muscle function of boys and girls in respect of aerobic and anaerobic function. Accepted: 4 February 1997  相似文献

Three-way ANOVA has shown that the functional state (FS) of children from 9 to 10 years of age (n = 91) under intense informational load is significantly influenced by the aerobic and anaerobic components of physical working capacity and their interaction. It has been found that 4 to 21% of the total variation of the studied FS indices are related to the bioenergetic resources of the body. It has been shown that the high levels of development of the aerobic and anaerobic glycolytic capacities are associated with the optimal changes in the FS under the conditions of intense informational load. At the same time, the interaction of the aerobic and anaerobic glycolytic components of physical working capacity exerts the most significant influence on the productivity and “psychophysiological cost” of intellectual activity. The high anaerobic glycolytic and anaerobic alactate capacities proved to have opposite functional effects. The former contribute to a decrease in excessive autonomic reactivity under the conditions of intense work and diminution of trait anxiety; the latter, on the contrary, determine hypermobilization of the system of autonomic support of activity. The results suggest that a combined use of rational proportions of physical loads of the aerobic, anaerobic glycolytic, and anaerobic alactate types will provide efficient control of children’s FS under the conditions of intense intellectual activity.  相似文献

On the basis of the results of our studies and literature data, an analysis of the physiological mechanisms responsible for the multifold increase in the physical working capacity during human development has been performed. Physiological and biochemical studies have shown that the aerobic energy system already has a high capacity during the second period of childhood, and the further increase in working capacity is mainly provided by the development of anaerobic mechanisms of energy supply. The maturation of mechanisms of energy production is related to considerable changes in the activity of tissue enzymes and radical rearrangement of the composition of muscular fibers. Puberty considerably influences the development of anaerobic muscle energetics in boys due to stimulation of the growth of type II fibers by testosterone. It has been shown that widespread tests for assessment of physical working capacity mainly reflect changes in the power of energy systems and only in rare cases may be used to characterize changes in their capacity. However, the capacity parameters, which depend to a greater extent on the quality of regulation at the cellular, tissue, and body levels, show multifold growth during ontogeny, which corresponds to the actual increase in the working capacity in the period from childhood to youth. A classification of tests of physical working capacity is proposed. The use and development of this classification may facilitate the development of new tests and an increased efficiency of testing involved in solving various applied and fundamental problems.  相似文献

The structure of intelligence in senior adolescents has been studied. The analysis of intelligence in adolescents of both sexes has shown that there are no distinct differences in the structure of intellectual development between boys and girls aged 15–16 years. Significantly better results have been obtained only for the memory development of girls. This suggests that the pattern of cognitive development does not depend on the sex at the last stages of puberty. Significant variation of individual intellectual characteristics confirms a high variability of the psychophysiological structure of intelligence in adolescents at this ontogenetic stage.  相似文献

Carbon and nitrogen mineralized from soil under waterlogged conditions may come from the soil microbial biomass pool and potentially could be used for biomass estimations.14C and15N labeled cells added to soil were monitored for decomposition under aerobic and anaerobic conditions. Under aerobic conditions 12–42% of the added organism C was mineralized and 1–30% of the N. Under waterlogged conditions 13–33% of the C and 4–13% of the N was mineralized. The mineralized organism C as a percent of the total C evolved was consistent for both aerobic and anaerobic conditions, however the nitrogen showed extreme variations  相似文献

A study of the psychophysiological reactivity of boys aged 13–14 years during mental performance at optimal and maximum rates showed that informational loading caused marked functional strain. The physiological cost of working at a comfortable rate was lower than at the maximum rate. Excessive psychophysiological reactivity was observed at the initial stages of puberty during intense mental loading. Such reactivity was responsible for a high physiological cost of adaptation and low functional capabilities of adolescents at puberty stages (PSs) II and III. Moreover, personality traits that contribute to mental strain were expressed to a greater extent in these adolescents. Comparisons indicated a tendency towards higher emotional stability and lower anxiety and frustration for the transition from PS II to PS IV. Excessive psychophysiological reactivity during intense mental work and a high psychophysiological cost of activity in adolescents at PSs II and III may decrease working efficiency, worsen the efficiency of learning, and cause adverse deviations in the state of health. This circumstance should be taken into account during elaboration of effective prophylactic measures aimed at optimizing the functional state of schoolchildren in puberty.  相似文献

A complex study of the physical working capacity of five- to six-year-old children (n = 106) was performed. It was found that the physical working capacity of preschool children at this age is determined by the following five major factors: (I) aerobic capacity, (II) anaerobic glycolytic working capacity, (III) absolute aerobic power, (IV) relative aerobic power, and (V) anaerobic alactic working capacity. Sex-related differences in some parameters reflecting the physical working capacity and fitness, characterizing the anaerobic alactic and anaerobic glycolytic productivity of the body were revealed. These differences are apparently related to an advanced development of anaerobic energy-supply mechanisms of girls compared to age-matched boys. The procedure of a complex assessment of the physical working capacity of five- to six-year-old children has been developed, which includes informative parameters characterizing the power and capacity of energy systems selected on the basis of results of factor analysis and expert assessment. A rapid procedure for a complex assessment of working capacity based on calculating the time during which a physical load (2 W/kg) can be sustained is proposed. The study showed that shifts in the intensity of physical activity within the optimal range resulted in multifold changes in its duration. Importantly, the duration of physical activity’s performance at an intensity of 175–180 bpm in children with a high working capacity is comparable to the maximum work duration at a heart rate of 140–145 bmp in preschool children with a low physical condition. Differences between children with high and low physical working capacity were found to increase with an increase in the physical load aerobicity. The physical working capacity of five- to six-year-old children can be differentiated best of all on the basis of aerobic capacity parameters. The enormous range of changes in the aerobic capacity parameters makes them especially valuable for characterizing the level of somatic health of preschool children. The results of this study were used to construct a nomogram for the determination of the allowable training load depending on its intensity and physical working capacity.  相似文献

Skeletal maturation rates for the age interval 3 to 13 years were analyzed using bone-specific assessments (Greulich-Pyle) of serial radiographs of 40 children. The mean rates of skeletal maturation resembled those of the population from which the atlas standards had been derived. There was a linear trend of skeletal age against chronological age for most bones in each sex. Regression lines were fitted to these data and the b values of the regression lines were calculated. Communality indices were calculated from an intercorrelation matrix of these b values. There was a statistically significant rank order correlation between the sexes in the communality indices. They tended to be higher in the girls than in the boys and were relatively low for the radius, ulna and carpals. Communality indices within groups of bones were high in all rows, especially the metacarpals, but in each sex they were comparatively low in the first ray (metacarpal plus the phalanges of the corresponding digit) and in the fifth ray of the boys. Neighborhood effects on the levels of association of maturation rates were present, particularly in the carpus, but marginal effects were not noted.  相似文献

Integrated study of the functional state of the sympathoadrenal system and the adrenal cortex in children of both sexes aged 10–15 years. The study was conducted on the basis of the daily adrenaline, noradrenaline, 17-ketosteroid, and 17-oxycorticosteroid excretion values, which allowed certain synchrony to be established in the manifestation of the activity of the transmitter link of the sympathoadrenal system and the adrenal cortex androgenic and glucocorticoid functions with age, during sexual maturation. The heterogeneous character of maturation was found in the sex groups: in girls at an age of 10 and 12 years and in the boys at an age of 14–15 years. Changes in the excretion of the hormones and hormone metabolites with different directions and rates in the age-sex groups were observed throughout the academic year. In 14- to 15-year-old boys, a sharp increase in the daily excretion of the glucocorticoid metabolites accompanied by a substantial decrease in the age-related noradrenaline excretion values and the sex hormone metabolite values at an age of 15 years was observed. In the girls, these values varied within the age range, which indicates a more perfect character of the neuroendocrine regulation of their physiological functions in the period of sexual maturation.  相似文献

Pinnipeds rely on muscle oxygen stores to help support aerobic diving, therefore muscle maturation may influence the behavioral ecology of young pinnipeds. To investigate the pattern of muscle development, myoglobin concentration ([Mb]) and acid buffering ability (β) was measured in ten muscles from 23 harp and 40 hooded seals of various ages. Adult [Mb] ranged from 28–97 to 35–104 mg g tissue−1 in harp and hooded seals, respectively, with values increasing from the cervical, non-swimming muscles to the main swimming muscles of the lumbar region. Neonatal and weaned pup muscles exhibited lower (~30% adult values) and less variable [Mb] across the body than adults. In contrast, adult β showed little regional variation (60–90 slykes), while high pup values (~75% adult values) indicate significant in utero development. These findings suggest that intra-uterine conditions are sufficiently hypoxic to stimulate prenatal β development, but that [Mb] development requires additional postnatal signal such as exercise, and/or growth factors. However, because of limited development in both β and [Mb] during the nursing period, pups are weaned with muscles with lower aerobic and anaerobic capacities than those of adults.  相似文献

We determined the independent factors that reflect the fundamental characteristics of the functional state (FS) in adolescents aged 13–14 years (n = 162): the sympathetic regulation and parasympathetic regulation of FS, physical working capability; the efficiency of cognitive performance; the hemodynamic basis of cognitive activity; nonspecific resistance to upper respiratory tract infections. Using the systematic approach, we investigated the physiological basis of these factors and determined the indices suitable for estimating the FS of adolescents at different stages of puberty. We observed progressive dynamics of FS parameters related to factors listed above in boys of the same chronological age at different puberty stages. Beginning from stage II to stage IV, we observed a heterochronic and nonlinear decrease in the tension of system of autonomic FS regulation, an increase in the efficiency of cognitive activity and its hemodynamic supply, as well as an improvement of anaerobic working capability.  相似文献

To evaluate the morphofunctional development of adolescents as dependent on their physiological and chronological ages, physical development, cardiorespiratory system indices, and exercise performance were studied in 12- to 14-year-old boys. The morphofunctional development depended mostly on the sexual maturity. In subjects of the same chronological age, the maturity level substantially influenced the rate of physical development and the condition of the cardiorespiratory system. Poly-β-hydroxybutyrate (PHB) formation under aerobic conditions via incorporation of [13C-2]acetate as a cosubstrate and its intracellular degradation under anaerobic conditions in a Type II methanotroph was studied by 13C NMR. During PHB synthesis in the presence of labelled acetate, low levels of β-hydroxybutyrate, butyrate, acetone, isopropanol, 2,3-butanediol and succinate were observed. Subsequent anaerobic PHB breakdown showed enhanced levels of these products at the expense of PHB. Fermentative metabolism occurring during anaerobic PHB degradation was confirmed in experiments with fully 13C-enriched cells, which were grown on 13C-labelled methane. β-hydroxybutyrate, butyrate, acetate, acetone, isopropanol, 2,3-butanediol and succinate were detected as multiple 13C-labelled compounds in the culture medium. Our results suggest that intracellular PHB degradation can be used as a reserve energy source by methanotrophs under anoxic conditions. The criteria of max VO2 and max O2D which are traditionally used in studying aerobic and anaerobic work capacity, have the different dimensions. While max VO2 is an index of the power of aerobic energy output, max O2D assesses the capacity of anaerobic sources. For a comprehensive assessment of physical working capacity of athletes, both aerobic and anaerobic capabilities should be represented in three dimensions, i.e. in indexes of power, capacity and efficiency. Experimental procedures have been developed for assessing these three parameters in treadmill running tests. It is proposed to assess anaerobic power by measuring excess CO2, concurrently with determination of max VO2. Maximal aerobic capacity is established as the product of max VO2 by the time of max VO2 maintenance determined in a special test with running at critical speed. The erogmetric criteria derived on the basis of the tests proposed, may be used for systematization of various physical work loads.  相似文献

Microbial hydrocarbon degradation in soil was studied during periodical aerobic/anaerobic switching and under purely aerobic conditions by using a pilot-scale plant with diesel-fuel-contaminated sand. The system worked according to the percolation principle with controlled circulation of process water and aeration. Periodical switching between 4 h of aerobic and 2 h of anaerobic conditions was achieved by repeated saturation of the soil with water. Whatever the cultivation mode, less than 50% of the diesel was degraded after 650 h because the hydrocarbons were adsorbed. Contrary to expectations, aerobic/anaerobic changes neither accelerated the rate of degradation nor reduced the residual hydrocarbon content of the soil. Obviously the pollutant degradation rate was determined mainly by transport phenomena and less by the efficiency of microbial metabolism. The total mass of oxygen consumed and carbon dioxide produced was greater under aerobic/anaerobic changing than under aerobic conditions, although the mass of hydrocarbons degraded was nearly the same. As shown by an overall balance of microbial growth and by a carbon balance, the growth yield coefficient was smaller during aerobic/anaerobic changes than under aerobic conditions. The level of 25-OH vitamin D in the blood plasma in indigenous residents of northern European Russia has been studied. Vitamin D deficiency has been shown to be widespread. The lowest prevalence of vitamin D deficiencies (15%) has been found in male reindeer herders; the highest (80–100%) one, in adolescents aged 13–15 years. A significant decrease in the 25-OH vitamin D3 level has been found in the inhabitants of the Far North in March. A relationship has been found between the serum 25-OH vitamin D concentration and lipid metabolism parameters in residents of the Far North, which is confirmed by significant correlations with the total cholesterol, apolipoprotein A, high- and low-density lipoprotein, and vitamin A and E levels.  相似文献
