The crystal structure of zinc citrate [Zn(II) (C6H5O7)2·4NH4+] shows isolated zinc ions octahedrally coordinated to two equivalent citrates via a central hydroxyl, central carboxyl, and one terminal carboxyl from each citrate. The clusters are linked through hydrogen bonds to ammonium ions in the lattice. The structure is distinctly different from that of other divalent cation triply ionized citrate complexes, which are polymeric. Crystal data : space group P21/C, a = 8.784(3) Å, b = 13.499(4) Å, c = 9.083(3) Å, β = 113.4°(1), V = 988(1) Å3. Citrate has been identified as the low molecular weight ligand that complexes zinc in human milk; this may be of interest in relation to intestinal zinc absorption.  相似文献

The preparation and molecular and crystal structure of the complex [(ethylenediamine)bis(7,9,-dimethylhypoxanthine)platinum(II)] hexafluorophosphate, [Pt(C2H8N2)(C7H8N4O)2] (PF6)2, are reported. The complex crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group C2/c, with a = 12.334(2)Å, b = 10.256(2)Å, c = 22.339(3)Å, β = 101.31(1)°, V = 2771.0Å3, Z = 4, Dmeasd = 2.087(3) g cm?3, Dcalc = 2.094 g cm?3. Intensities for 3992 symmetry-averaged reflections were collected in the θ-2o scan mode on an automated diffractometer employing graphite-monochromatized MoKα radiation. The structure was solved by standard heavy-atom Patterson and Fourier methods. Full matrix least-squares refinement led to a final R value of 0.051. Both the ethylenediamine chelate and the PF6? anion are disordered. The primary coordination sphere about the Pt(II) center is approximately square planar with the bidentate ethylenediamine ligand and the N(1) atoms [Pt(II) ? N(1) = 2.020(5)Å] of two 7,9-dimethylhypoxanthine bases (related by a crystallographic twofold axis of symmetry) occupying the four coordination sites. The exocyclic O(6) carbonyl oxygen atoms of the two 7,9-dimethylhypoxanthine ligands participate in intracomplex hydrogen bonding with the amino groups of the ethylenediamine chelate [N(ethylenediamine) ? O(6) = 2.89( )Å]. The observed Pt ? O(6) intramolecular distances of 3.074(6)Å are similar to those found in other Pt(II) N(1)-bound 6-oxopurine complexes and in several Pt(II) N(3)-bound cytosine systems.  相似文献

The crystal structures of the cadmium(II) and lead(II) complexes of phenoxyacetic acid (PAH) have been determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction techniques. The cadmium complex, [Cd(PA)2(H2O)2] (1), space group C2, with Z = 2 in a cell of dimensions, a = 11.801(2), b = 5.484(1), c = 13.431(3) Å, β = 100.87(2)°, possesses a distorted trapezoidal bipyramidal coordination around the metal atom, involving two water oxygens [2.210(5) Å] and four carboxyl oxygens from two symmetrical bidentate phenoxyacetate ligands [2.363(4), 2.365(4) Å] with Cd lying on the crystallographic two- fold axis. The lead complex, [Pb2(PA)4(H2O)]n(2) is triclinic, space group P1, Z = 2, with a cell of dimensions, a = 10.135(4), b = 10.675(3), c = 19.285(9) Å, α = 114.66(3), β = 91.94(3) and γ = 114.99(3)°. (2) is a two-dimensional polymer with a repeating dimer sub-unit. The first lead [Pb(1)] has an irregular MO8 coordination [2.34?2.96(2) Å: mean, 2.63(2) Å] involving the water molecule, two oxygens from an asymmetric bidentate carboxylate group, two from a bidentate chelate [O(ether), O(carboxylate)] group and three from bridging oxygens, one of which also provides a polymer link to another symmetry generated lead. The second lead [Pb(2)] is irregular seven-coordinate [PbO, 2.48?2.73(2) Å: mean, 2.61(2) Å] with three bonds from the bridging groups, two from an unsymmetrical bidentate carboxylate (O, O′) group and one from a second carboxyl group which also bridges two Pb(2) centres in the polymer.  相似文献

C10H24N10NiZn, tris(1,2-diaminoethane) zinc(II) terakis(cyano)niccolate(II), (II), monoclinic, P21/n, a = 0.7957(2), b = 1.5170(5), c = 1.4932(4) nm, β = 96.41(2)°, Z = 4, d(meas) = 1.49, d(calc) = 1.51 g cm?3. Both the structures (I) and (II) have been solved by the heavy atom method and refined by full-matrix least-squares to R(I) = 0.086 for 1890 independent reflections and R(II) = 0.058 for 1689 independent reflections, respectively. In the case of (II) the superlattice structure problem was solved. The crystal structure of (I) consists of [Zn(en)3]2+ cations, [Ni(CN)4]2? anions and water molecules. Two of the cyano groups in trans positions are bonded to water molecules by hydrogen bonds, the distances CN?O being 0.289 and 0.291 nm, respectively. The crystal structure of (II) is constituted by [Zn(en)3]2+ cations and [Ni(CN)4]2? anions.  相似文献

The synthesis and crystal structure of the adenine N(1)-oxide complex with mercury(II) chloride, (C5H5N5O)HgCl2 are reported. Crystals of the coordination compound belong to the monoclinic system, space group P21/n with the following primary crystallographic data: a = 6.685(1) Å, b = 11.798(2) Å, c = 10.155(1) Å, β = 100.22(1)°, V = 906.04 Å3, Z = 4. The structure was elucidated by conventional Patterson and Fourier methods and refined by the full matrix least-squares technique on the basis of 1977 observed reflections to an R value of 0.074. The basic unit of the structure is a dimer, with a centre of symmetry, consisting of two HgCl2 moieties and two adenine N(1)-oxide ligands. A polymeric structure results from the bridging interactions of chloride ions. Adenine N(1)-oxide acts as a bidentate bridging ligand, coordinating through N(7) and O(1). The coordination geometry around the mercury ion is a distorted square pyramid with N(7) and three chlorines (two of which are centro-symmetrically related) forming the square plane and O(1) occupying the axial position. Hg also interacts indirectly with N(6) through a Cl
HN hydrogen bond. Principal intracomplex geometrical parameters are as follows: HgN(7) = 2.61(1) Å, HgO(1) = 2.55(1) Å, HgCl(1) = 2.330(3) Å, HgCl(2) = 2.318(3) Å, HgCl(2′) = 3.347(3) Å. The cis angles range from 77.5° to 107.9° and the two trans angles are 155.5° and 163.1°. The centro-symmetrically related bases overlap partially and pack at a distance of 3.2 Å. The glide-related bases are linked by a hydrogen bond, N(9)H
O(1) and are inclined to one another by 109.7°. The results are compared with those derived from spectroscopic and other physicochemical studies on metal interaction with adenine N(1)-oxide. Based on the present structural observations and earlier experimental results a possible mechanism is proposed for mercury interaction with DNA.  相似文献

Iron(III) complexes of three aroyl hydrazones, pyridoxal isonicotinoyl hydrazone (H2pih), pyridoxal benzoyl hydrazone (H2pbh), and salicylaldehyde benzoyl hydrazone (H2sbh), were synthesized and characterized. In aqueous medium at pH 7, [Fe(pih)(Hpih)]·3H2O is formed. In acidic methanol, a 1:1 ligand-to-metal complex is formed, [FeCl2(H2pih)]Cl (1), whereas in aqueous medium at low pH cis-[FeCl2(H2pih)(H2O)]Cl·H2O (2) is formed. Compounds 1 and 2 are high-spin d5 with μeff = 5.88 μB and 5.93 μB (298 K). The crystal structures of 1 and 2 show that H2pih acts as a tridentate neutral ligand in which the phenolic and hydrazidic protons have shifted to the pyridine nitrogen atoms. The co- ordination polyhedron of 1 is ‘square’ pyramidal, whereas that of 2 is pseudo-octahedral. Compound 1 is triclinic, space group Pl, with a = 12.704(2) Å, b = 8.655(2) Å, c = 8.820(2) Å, α = 105.42(1)°, β = 89.87(1)°, γ = 107.60(1)°, V = 888 Å3, and Z = 2; 2 is monoclinic, space group P21/c, with a = 15.358(4) Å, b = 7.304(3) Å, c = 17.442(4) Å, β = 101.00(2)°, V = 1921 Å3, and Z = 4.  相似文献

The synthesis and crystal and molecular structure of the first zinc(II) mixed ligand chelate containing a dithiolene ligand (maleonitriledithiolate) and N,N- diethyldithiocarbamate are reported. The compound Ph4As[Zn(mnt)(Et2dtc)] crystallizes monoclinic, space group P21/c with four molecules in the unit cell; a=17.834(3), b=12.056(2), c=16.171(4) Å, β=93.73(2)°.The coordination geometry of the ZnS4 unit is nearly tetrahedral, with a dihedral angle of 87.6° between the chelate rings. The structure is compared with those of both the patent compounds (Ph4- As)2[Zn(mnt)2] and Zn2(Et2dtc)4. Ph4As[Zn(mnt)(Et2dtc)] could be used as the host lattice in single- crystal ESR investigations of the planar Cu mixed ligand complex. The rhombic spin-Hamiltonian parameters g and ACu are indicative of a low symmetry of the incorporated [Cu(mnt)(Et2dtc)] complex anions. In order to substantiate the experimental findings about the actual structure of the copper molecules, the principal values of g and ACu were recalculated by means of Extended Hückel MO calculations. However, the calculations performed for the dihedral angles between the ligand planes varying between 0° and 90° suggest that the rotation of the ligands is not larger than 10°  相似文献

In the reaction of the tetradentate ligand 3,3′-(1,4- butanediyldiamino) bis (3-methyl-2-butanone)-dioxime (BnAO) with nickel(II) and copper(II), the monomeric [Ni(BnAO-H)]I·H2O and a mixed monomer/dimer salt [Cu(BnAO-H)H2O]2[(Cu(BnAO-H))2](ClO4)4, respectively, are formed, and all complexes have an intramolecular hydrogen bond between cis oxime groups. The OHO bonds give the characteristic infrared absorptions as well as the downfield proton-NMR signal (Ni complex). [Ni(BnAO-H)]I·H2O crystallizes in space group P21/a with a=13.511(2), b=10.599(2), c=14.096(2) Å, β=97.52°, Z=4 and Dc=1.623 g/cm3. The structure was solved by Patterson and Fourier methods and refined by full-matrix least-squares techniques to a final R of 0.021 for 2124 reflections with I 2σ(I). The nickel(II) atom in the complex has slightly distorted square planar geometry with an intramolecular O···O contact of 2.417(7) Å. The copper(II) complex crystallizes in space group P21/c with a =13.425(2), b=21.446(3), c=14.349(4) Å, β= 104.4(5)°, Z=8 (monomers) and Dc=1.485 g/cm3. The final R value for this complex was 0.053 for 3033 reflections with I 2σ(I). This structure contains a monomeric [Cu(BnAO-H)H2O]+ ion and a dimeric [(Cu(BnAO-H))2]2+ ion, having intramolecular O···O hydrogen bonds of 2.421(5) and 2.531(5) Å, respectively. The copper(II) ions have square-pyramidal coordination with the axial positions occupied by an oxygen of the water of hydration in the monomer and by an oxime oxygen atom in the dimer. A center of symmetry relates the two halves of the dimer. The copper atom in each case is out of the plane of the four nitrogen atoms toward the axial site. The copper(II) complex is unusual in that the crystal contains both a monomer and a dimer.  相似文献

Di-μ-azido-bis[azido(2-aminopyridine)aquo]dicopper(II), [Cu(2-ampy)(N3)2(H2O)]2, was synthesized and characterized by X-ray crystallography. The crystals are triclinic, space group P1, with a = 7.142(1), b = 7.812(1), c = 9.727(1) Å, a = 96.52(1), β = 95.52(1), γ = 113.47(1)°, and Z = 1. The structure was refined to RF = 0.030 for 1960 observed MoKα diffractometer data. The dimeric molecule, which possesses a crystallographic inversion center, contains both terminal and μ(1)-bridging azido groups. Each copper(II) atom is further coordinated by a 2-aminopyridine ligand (via its ring N atom) and a water molecule to give a distorted square pyramid, with the metal atom raised by 0.17 Å above the N4 basal plane [CuN (ring) = 2.001(2), CuN (azide) = 1.962(3)–2.018(2) Å] towards the apical aquo ligand [CuO = 2.371(2) Å]. Each water molecule forms an intramolecular O?HN (amine) acceptor hydrogen bond, and is linked by two OH?N (terminal azide) intermolecular donor hydrogen bonds to adjacent dimeric complexes to yield a layer structure parallel to (001). Infrared and electronic spectral data are presented and discussed.  相似文献

The ligand 2-dimethylacetal-4-chloro-6-formylphenol, H(ALAC), prepared by boiling 2,6-diformyl-4-chlorophenol, H(DIAL), in methanol, was reacted with uranyl acetate to obtain the complex [UO2(ALAC)2(H2O)]. The ligand and the uranyl complex were characterized by X-ray crystallography, infrared, 1H NMR and electronic spectroscopy. Thermogravimetric and mass spectrometry data are also reported. In acid media H(ALAC) transforms easily into H(DIAL). H(ALAC) is monoclinic, P21/n, with a=13.951(5), b=7.902(5), c=9.465(5) Å, β= 91.33(3)°. The structure was refined to R=3.9%, based on 1657 observed reflexions. [UO2(ALAC)2(H2O)] is tetragonal, P43212, with a=11.147(5) and c=19.150(4) Å. The structure was refined to R=4.0%, based on 2938 observed reflexions. Four ligand oxygens and one water molecule are equatorially bonded to the uranyl group in this compound. Uranium and water oxygen lie in special positions on a crystallographic twofold axis so that the two halves of this molecule are symmetrically related. Selected bond distances for [UO2(ALAC)2(H2O)] are: UO (charged) 2.28(2) Å, UO (neutral) 2.45(2) Å, UO (uranyl) 1.77(2) Å, UO (water) 2.44(4) Å.  相似文献

The crystal structure of chloro-(1-methyltyminato- N3)-cis-diammineplatinum(II) monohydrate, cis- (NH3)2Pt(C6H7N2O2)Cl·H2O, is reported. The compound crystallizes in space group P1 with a = 6.911(2) Å, b = 8.598(3) Å, c = 11.464(4) Å, α = 100.13(3)°, β = 120.03(3)°, γ = 93.16(3)°, Z = 2. The structure was refined to R = 0.048 and Rw = 0.057. The compound contains the deprotonated 1-methylthymine ligand coordinated to Pt through N3 (1.973(10) Å). This distance represents the shortest Pt-N3(pyrimidine-2.4-dione) bond reported so far. The two PtNH3 bond lengths differ significantly: PtNH3 (trans to Cl) is longer (2.052(10) Å) than PtNH3 (trans to N3 of 1-MeT) (2.002(11) Å). The PtCl distance (2.326(3) Å) is normal, as is the large dihedral angle between the Pt coordination plane and the nucleobase (76.5°).  相似文献

The structure of the complex [Pt(trans-1,2-di- aminocyclohexane) (acetate)2]·H2O has been determined by X-ray diffraction. This racemic compound is orthorhombic, space group Aba2, a = 20.813(9), b = 7.926(5), c = 17.296(8) Å, Z = 8. The structure was refined on 1214 nonzero Cu Kα reflections to R = 0.028. The square planar environment of Pt includes the amino groups of the diamine in cis positions and oxygens from two monodentate acetates. The PtN and PtO distances average 2.00(3) and 2.02(3) Å, respectively. The bite of the diamine ligand imposes a NPtN angle of 85(1)°, whereas the small OPtO angle of 85(1)° probably results from packing effects. The average plane through the puckered cyclohexyl ring makes an angle of 19° with the PtN2O2 plane. The molecules are stacked by pairs along the b axis. The two molecules of each pair are 180° apart about the stacking axis, and form altogether four NH···O hydrogen bonds.  相似文献

The interactions between N-tosylamino acids and cobalt(II), nickel(II) and zinc(II) ions in aqueous solution and in the solid state have been investigated. From concentrated aqueous solutions, compounds of general formula [M(II)(N-tosylaminoacidato)2(H2O)4](M = Co(II), Ni(II) and N-tosylaminoacidato = N-tosylglycinate (Tsgly?), N-tosyl-α- and -β-alaninate (Ts-α- and Ts-β-ala?); M = Zn(II) and N-tosylaminoacidate = Tsgly?, Ts-β-ala?) and [Zn(II)(N- tosylaminoacidato)2(H2O)2] were isolated and characterized by means of thermogravimetric, electronic and infrared spectra. For two of them: [Co(Tsgly)2(H2O)4](I) and [Zn(Ts-β-ala)2(H2O)4](II) the crystal and molecular structures were also determined. Both compounds crystallize in the monoclinic space group P21/c, with two formula units in a cell of dimensions: a = 13.007(6), b = 5.036(2), c = 18.925(7) Å, β = 102.33(3)° for (I) and a = 14.173(6), b = 5.469(2), c = 17.701(7) Å, β = 106.63(3)° for (II). The structures were solved by the heavy-atom method and refined by least-squares calculations to R = 0.031 and 0.064 for (I) and (II) respectively. The cobalt and zinc atoms lie in the centers of symmetry, each bonded to two amino- acid molecules through a carboxylic oxygen atom and four water molecules in a slightly tetragonally distorted octahedral geometry. The second carboxylic oxygen atom is not involved in metal coordination. Electronic and X ray-powder spectra suggest that the tetrahydrate complexes of Co2+, Ni2+ and Zn2+ ions of the same amino acids are isomorphous and isostructural. No coordinative interactions between ligand and metal ions were found in aqueous solution on varying the pH values before hydroxide precipitation.  相似文献

The structure of [Ph4As] [MoOCl2(SalphO)], where SalphO is N-2-oxophenylsalicylideniminate dianion, has been determined by X-ray crystallography. The complex crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/n with a = 11.829(2), b = 16.149(3), c = 17.410(3) Å, β = 97.485(15)° and Z = 4. The calculated and observed densities and 1.566 and 1.573(10) g cm?3, respectively. Block-diagonal least-squares refinement of the structure using 4722 independent reflections with I ? 3σ(I) converged at R = 0.0345 and Rw = 0.0484. The crystal contains [Ph4As]+ cations and [MoOCl2(SalphO)]? anions. The Mo atom in the anion is in a distorted octahedral coordination environment. A planar terdentate Schiff base ligand occupies meridional positions with the N atom trans to the terminal oxo group (Ot). Two Cl atoms are cis to the Ot atom. The Mo atom is displaced by 0.33 Å from the equatorial plane toward the Ot atom. The MoOt distance is 1.673(3) Å. The MoN bond trans to the Ot atom is 2.298(4) Å. The two MoCl bond lengths are 2.371(1) and 2.408(1) Å. The difference of 0.037 Å is significant (30 σ). Preparations of the title complex and the related complexes are also described.  相似文献

The copper atom is five-coordinate with the N4-tetradentate ligand encompassing the base of a distorted square-based pyramid which is appreciably distorted towards a trigonal bipyramid [average Cu-N(amide) 1.950(2), Cu-N(pyridine) 2.043(2) Å, N(amide)-Cu-N(amide) 94.5(1), N(pyridine)-Cu-N(pyridine) 100.2(1)°] and with the copper atom lying 0.27 Å above the N4 plane towards the apical water molecule [Cu-O 2.236(2) Å]. The central six-membered chelate ring adopts a skewed boat conformation and the enforced strain in the molecule results in non-planar distortions in the pyridine rings with only small distortions in the amide groups. The molecules pack in sheets parallel to (101) and the hydrogen-bonding network involves the water molecules and the amide oxygen atoms of the ligand.  相似文献

Reaction of 4-amino-3,5-bis(pyridin-2-yl)-1,2,4-triazole (NH2bpt) or its potassium salt (KNHbpt) with several rhodium(I) compounds, produces new neutral and cationic complexes of Rh(I). One of the complexes [Rh(CO)2(NH2bpt)]ClO4 has been characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The crystals are monoclinic, space group P21/n, with a = 17.6130(6), b = 11.3072(2), c = 9.0013(2) Å, β = 101.536(2)° and Z = 4. The structure has been refined to R = 0.049.  相似文献
