通过在水泥厂周围布设不同监测样点、样田,了解水泥粉尘沉降对水稻、油菜和土壤环境的影响。结果表明,水泥厂周围的大气环境受到不同程度的粉尘污染。水泥粉尘使一些农田水稻和油菜产量有所下降,但对质量未产生不良影响,水泥粉尘会使土壤中钙的含量明显增加。  相似文献

The aim of this study is to survey the PM10, PM2.5, and PM1 concentrations in rural and urban areas in Tehran province during cold, warm and dust storm days from December 22, 2016 to June 5, 2017 using Grimm Model aerosol spectrometer. During the study period, daily PM10, PM2.5, and PM1 concentrations ranged from 27.2 to 244.96, 8.4 to 77.9, and 6.5 to 56.8 μg/m3 in urban sites, and 22.8 to 286.4, 6 to 41.1, and 2.1 to 20.2 μg/m3 in rural parts, respectively. Particularly, both daily WHO limits for outdoor PM10 (50.0 μg/m3) and PM2.5 (25.0 μg/m3) exceeded in 95% and 83% of the outdoor measurements in winter and 82% and 58% in total sampled days in urban site, respectively. The 24-h average PM10 and PM2.5 concentrations also exceeded by 59% and 18% in winter and by 36% and 14% of all sampling days in rural site, respectively. During the dust storm, the 24-h average PM10, PM2.5, and PM1 concentrations were, respectively 4.7, 2, and 1.96 times higher than those in urban site and 2, 1.7, and 1.3 times more than those in rural site in all sampled days.  相似文献

Differentials in the probability of pregnancy loss are examined using pregnancy history data from eight WFS surveys in developing countries. Multiple logistic regression equations are estimated. The probability of loss varies substantially over the reproductive career. Both higher-order pregnancies and those conceived at older ages are more likely to terminate in loss. maternal age differentials are more pronounced for lower-order pregnancies. First and second pregnancies conceived over age thirty suffer especially high levels of loss. Pregnancies conceived relatively soon after the termination of the previous pregnancy are more likely to be lost, as are pregnancies conceived after long intervals. Risk of loss is higher for women previously experiencing loss, and the effect persists beyond the pregnancy following the loss.  相似文献

The relationship between photochemical air pollutants (nitrogen dioxide and ozone) and emergency room admissions for asthma in Madrid (Spain) for the period 1995-1998 was analysed using the statistical models commonly used to studying the short-term effects of air pollution on health: linear and Cochrane-Orcutt regression, standard Poisson and Poisson corrected by overdispersion, Poisson autoregressive models, and generalised additive models. Linear regression models presented residual autocorrelation, Poisson regression models also showed overdispersion, and generalised additive models did not show residual autocorrelation and overdispersion was substantially reduced. Linear models provided biased estimates because our health outcome is non-normally distributed. Estimates from Poisson regression allowing for overdispersion and autocorrelation did not differ substantially from those reported by generalised additive models, which present the best model fit in terms of the absence of autocorrelation and reduction of overdispersion.  相似文献

Background

The relationship between ambient air pollution exposure and mortality of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases in human is controversial, and there is little information about how exposures to ambient air pollution contribution to the mortality of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases among Chinese. The aim of the present study was to examine whether exposure to ambient-air pollution increases the risk for cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disease.

Methodology/Principal Findings

We conducted a retrospective cohort study among humans to examine the association between compound-air pollutants [particulate matter <10 µm in aerodynamic diameter (PM10), sulfur dioxide (SO2) and nitrogen dioxide (NO2)] and mortality in Shenyang, China, using 12 years of data (1998–2009). Also, stratified analysis by sex, age, education, and income was conducted for cardiovascular and cerebrovascular mortality. The results showed that an increase of 10 µg/m3 in a year average concentration of PM10 corresponds to 55% increase in the risk of a death cardiovascular disease (hazard ratio [HR], 1.55; 95% confidence interval [CI], 1.51 to 1.60) and 49% increase in cerebrovascular disease (HR, 1.49; 95% CI, 1.45 to 1.53), respectively. The corresponding figures of adjusted HR (95%CI) for a 10 µg/m3 increase in NO2 was 2.46 (2.31 to 2.63) for cardiovascular mortality and 2.44 (2.27 to 2.62) for cerebrovascular mortality, respectively. The effects of air pollution were more evident in female that in male, and nonsmokers and residents with BMI<18.5 were more vulnerable to outdoor air pollution.

Conclusion/Significance

Long-term exposure to ambient air pollution is associated with the death of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases among Chinese populations.  相似文献

The self-assembling morphologies of low-concentration (mostly 1 and 10 mg/mL) bicellar mixtures composed of zwitterionic dipalmitoyl (di-C16) phosphatidylcholine (DPPC), dihexanoyl (di-C6) phosphatidylcholine (DHPC), and negatively charged dipalmitoyl (di-C16) phosphatidylglycerol (DPPG) were investigated using small angle neutron scattering, dynamic light scattering and transmission electron microscopy. A polyethylene glycol conjugated (PEGylated) lipid, distearoyl phosphoethanolamine-[methoxy (polyethyleneglycol)-2000] (PEG2000-DSPE), was incorporated in the system at 5 mol% of the total lipid composition. The effects of several parameters on the spontaneous structures were studied, including temperature, lipid concentration, salinity, and PEG2000-DSPE. In general, nanodiscs (bicelles) were observed at low temperatures (below the melting temperature, TM of DPPC) depending on the salinity of the solutions. Nanodisc-to-vesicle transition was found upon the elevation of temperature (above TM) in the cases of low lipid concentration in the absence of PEG2000-DSPE or high salinity. Both addition of PEG2000-DSPE and high lipid concentration stabilize the nanodiscs, preventing the formation of multilamellar vesicles, while high salinity promotes vesiculation and the formation of aggregation. This study suggests that the stability of such nanodiscs is presumably controlled by the electrostatic interactions, the steric effect induced by PEG2000-DSPE, and the amount of DHPC located at the disc rim.  相似文献

BackgroundAir pollution constitutes the major threat to human health, whereas their adverse impacts and underlying mechanisms of different particular matters are not clearly defined.Scope of reviewUltrafine particles (UFPs) are high related to the anthropogenic emission sources, i.e. combustion engines and power plants. Their composition, source, typical characters, oxidative effects, potential exposure routes and health risks were thoroughly reviewed.Major conclusionsUFPs play a major role in adverse impacts on human health and require further investigations in future toxicological research of air pollution.General significanceUnlike PM2.5, UFPs may have much more impacts on human health considering loads of evidences emerging from particulate matters and nanotoxicology research fields. The knowledge of nanotoxicology contributes to the understanding of toxicity mechanisms of airborne UFPs in air pollution. Methods were established, which render possible a simultaneous determination of ri-bulose-l,5-bisphosphate (RuBP) carboxylase (EC 4.1.1.39) activity and chlorophyll content of Norway spruce (Picea abies Karst.) needles from a detergent-containing aqueous crude extract. Spruce RuBP carboxylase was tentatively characterized with regard to kinetic properties. Recovery experiments employing purified wheat RuBP carboxylase proved quantitative extraction of the enzyme from spruce foliage. Five timber stands consisting of 35–62 years old spruce, two of which exhibited the typical symptoms of recent spruce decline, were compared. For the needle generations 1 to 4 the enzyme activities as well as chlorophyll and protein concentrations were determined. The results do not indicate an involvement of RuBP carboxylase in spruce decline.  相似文献

The classification of chromosomal aberrations was used to characterize different factors affecting chromosomes in the root meristem of Norway spruce [Picea abies (L.) Karst.] trees. It is important to know the most significant factor affecting the chromosomes in the root meristem of plants at natural sites. The results suggest that an intensive site effect is more significant than the soil or the provenance of the individual. This cytogenetic plant test system was also used to investigate 5-year-old spruce trees exposed in environmental chambers to elevated concentrations of carbon dioxide (750 cm3m–3) and ozone (0.08 cm3m–3) as single variables or in combination, and then transferred to a field for observation of a memory effect. The fumigated variants showed an increased number of chromosomal aberrations compared to the controls, which carried on as a memory effect in the root meristems far beyond the fumigation period.  相似文献

Vegetation of mountain areas affected by SO2 pollution (Kruné hory Mts., Czech Republic) was analysed using multivariate methods. Communities with prevailing species Calamagrostis villosa, a rhizomatous grass expanding into deforested sites, were sampled by Braun-Blanquet relevé method. Canonical correspondence analysis was used to assess the effect of environmental variables (soil removal, deforestation, and shading). To test the effects of light, moisture, soil acidity and nitrogen, mean sample indicator values were correlated a posteriori with sample axes on ordination scores. Light, soil acidity, moisture, and site history (in terms of past deforestation and soil removal applied in reclamation procedures) were found to be the main factors responsible for the community composition. Nitrogen level had not a significant effect on the community composition. When analyzing the whole data set, i.e. including also remnants of natural spruce forests, light was the factor affecting at most the composition of communities. Within the bare spot vegetation, if treated separately, the highest variation was found along the soil acidity/moisture gradient. The effect of soil removal was only obvious at early successional stages. Species diversity increased with moisture and decreased with soil acidity. Species exhibiting S- and/or R-strategy are successful on extremely acid soils whereas forbs present in bare spots appear to be supported by disturbances.  相似文献

Altogether, 750 cases of spontaneous abortion between the fifth and 25th week of gestation were analyzed cytogenetically by the direct-preparation method using chorionic villi. The majority of cases (68%) were derived from early abortions before the 12th week of gestation. The frequency of abnormal karyotypes was 50.1%; trisomy was predominant (62.1%), followed by triploidy (12.4%), monosomy X (10.5%), tetraploidy (9.2%), and structural chromosome anomalies (4.7%). Among trisomies, chromosomes 16 (21.8%), 22 (17.9%), and 21 (10.0%) were prevalent. The frequency of chromosomally abnormal abortions increased with maternal age but only because of an increase of trisomy. Polyploidy and monosomy X, however, decreased. Mean maternal age was significantly increased for trisomies 16, 21, and 22 and was highest for trisomies 18 and 20. The results obtained are within the range of variability reported earlier from tissue culture-type studies. A consistent feature during our study is the excess of females in chromosomally normal abortions (male:female sex ratio 0.71). According to the methodology applied, maternal cell contamination and undetected 46,XX molar samples cannot have influenced the sex ratio. However, a bias introduced by social status or maternal age cannot be excluded. With the more rapid and convenient direct preparation of chorionic villi, reliable cytogenetic data on causes of spontaneous abortions can be obtained.  相似文献

Time management of truly wild hamsters was investigated in their natural habitat in Alashan desert, Inner Mongolia, China during summer of 2009, 2010, and 2012. Duration of activity outside their burrows, duration of foraging walks, and nocturnal inside stays were analyzed with the aim to elucidate impact of moon, ambient, and soil temperature. Animal data were determined using radio frequency identification (RFID) technique; for that purpose, individuals were caught in the field and marked with passive transponders. Their burrows were equipped with integrated microchip readers and photosensors for the detection of movements into or out of the burrow. Lunar impact was analyzed based on moon phase (full, waning, new, and waxing moons) and moon disk size. A prolongation of aboveground activity was shown with increasing moon disk size (Spearman ρ?=?0.237; p?=?0.025) which was caused by earlier onsets (ρ?=?0.161; p?=?0.048); additionally, foraging walks took longer (Pearson r?=?0.037; p?=?0.037). Temperature of different periods of time was analyzed, i.e., mean of whole day, of the activity phase, minimum, and maximum. Moreover, this was done for the current day and the previous 3 days. Overall, increasing ambient and soil temperatures were associated with shortening of activity by earlier offsets of activity and shorter nocturnal stays inside their burrows. Most influential temperatures for activity duration were the maximum ambient temperature, 3 days before (stepwise regression analysis R?=?0.499; R 2?=?0.249; F?=?7.281; p?=?0.013) and soil temperature during activity phase, 1 day before (R?=?0.644; R 2?=?0.283; F?=?7.458; p?=?0.004).  相似文献

A new opto-electronic method has been used to measure spontaneous eye movements in a lightly restrained unanaesthetized marine teleost fish (Parore). The normal scanning pattern of eye movement is similar to that previously described in goldfish. The effects of cooling on eye movements were investigated by 2 degrees C step changes down from ambient temperature (13-14 degrees C). Lowered temperature altered the scanning pattern, decreased saccade velocity, increased mean saccade amplitude and impaired the ability of the fish to hold the eye stationary between saccades. All eye movements stopped at temperatures around 6 degrees C, but could be restored by subsequent warming.  相似文献

The effects of different soil water potentials, temperature and NaCl concentration on seed germination of Zygophyllum dumosum Boiss., a common shrub in Israeli deserts, was investigated. Seeds had to be exposed to constant field capacity conditions (–0.0316 MPa) for a minimal period of two days before germination could start. Maximal germination under such conditions occurred after four days or more. Under simulated conditions of gradual dehydration of the soil, seeds were inhibited either at low soil water potentials (–0.10 to –10.00 MPa) or at high ones (–0.002 to –0.0398 MPa). Germination of Z. dumosum was independent of temperature in the range of 10–25°C, but strongly inhibited at 30 and 35°C. At 20°C germination was inhibited by salinity of the medium but still occurred (0.5%) even at a concentration of 0.5 M NaCl.  相似文献

Measurements of carbon dioxide exchange and transpiration were made, at various air temperatures, on wheat and barley using a field enclosure system. From these were derived the stomatal and mesophyll resistances to carbon dioxide transfer. Optimum temperatures for net CO2 uptake were about 24°C for wheat and barley. Above these optima, as temperature increased so net CO2 uptake rates decreased, because of increasing stomatal and mesophyll resistances; transpiration rates decreased in wheat but were constant in barley. In laboratory growth cabinets, wheat plants were subjected to different regimes of temperature and humidity. Optimum temperature for net CO2 uptake of individual leaves was 25°C. At constant humidity, a decline in net uptake rates above 25°C was associated with large increases in mesophyll resistance. At a constant 25°C, as the vapour pressure deficit (v.p.d. was increased above 1 k Pa (10 mb) v.p.d. the net uptake declined, with an increase in mesophyll resistance and a small increase in stomatal resistance. When the v.p.d. exceeded 1 k Pa at a temperature of 30°C, conditions that are experienced by field plants, then there were large increases in both mesophyll and stomatal resistances and the net uptake rates declined. Photo-respiration, as measured by CO2 uptake in oxygen-free air, was independent of temperature, but both dark respiration and CO2 compensation concentration increased with temperature.  相似文献
