A re-evaluation of Minuartia graminifolia has been undertaken based on comparative morphological studies. M. graminifolia subsp. rosani (an endemic of the south-central Apennines and Sicily) and subsp. hungarica (an endemic of the Banat region of Romania) are accepted infraspecific taxa. M. graminifolia subsp. hungarica is lectotypified. M. graminifolia subsp. clandestina is confirmed for Italy; the taxon is neotypified. The type subspecies is considered an endemic to the east-central Alps. Keys to the species of Minuartia ser. Graminifoliae and to the subspecies of M. graminifolia are provided. © 2003 The Linnean Society of London, Botanical Journal of the Linnean Society , 2003, 143 , 419–432. 相似文献

The recent worldwide effort to transfer all non‐Australian taxa of Acacia s.l. mostly to the genera Senegalia and Vachellia follows the acceptance of the proposed re‐typification of the genus with an Australian species. The Madagascan species have, as yet, not been included in phylogenetic studies of Acacia s.l. and their position in the new generic classification of Acacia s.l. is therefore still unclear. In this study, plastid DNA sequence data were generated for seven Madagascan species, included in existing matrices for Acacia s.l. and analysed to assess the placement of these species. The results indicate that the Madagascan species are placed either in Senegalia or Vachellia and conform to the morphological characters used to distinguish these genera, despite some taxa having unusual red flowers. New combinations are formalized for Senegalia baronii , S . hildebrandtii , S . kraussiana ssp. madagascariensis , S . menabeensis , S . meridionalis , S . pervillei , S . pervillei ssp. pubescens , S . polhillii , S . sakalava , S . sakalava ssp. hispida , V achellia bellula , V . myrmecophila and V . vigueri . Nomenclatural errors are also corrected for three African taxa and, as such, new combinations are provided for Senegalia fleckii , S . hamulosa and V achellia theronii . © 2015 The Linnean Society of London, Botanical Journal of the Linnean Society, 2015, 179 , 288–294. 相似文献

A multidisciplinary study, engaging morphological, carpological and molecular data, has been performed to investigate the genetic relatedness and taxonomic boundaries of the close species Hedysarum gmelinii, H. setigerum and H. chaiyrakanicum (Fabaceae) with overlapped distribution areas in southern Siberia. The diagnostic features of these legume species are analyzed and discussed, including their macro- and micromorphological characteristics, seed coat ornamentation and inter-simple sequence repeat (ISSR) profiles. The morphometric features, pod and seed microsculpture traits of H. chaiyrakanicum and the ISSR patterns of the three species have been determined for the first time. Sprout, leaf, calyx, corolla, and stem rachis measurements, leaflet indumentum type and ISSR patterns significantly discriminate H. chaiyrakanicum from the other two species, whereas plant height, lengths of stem and leaf, and length and width of leaflet show opposite ranges of variation for H. gmelinii and H. setigerum though none of them is reliable in species identification. Ornamentation of seed coat and ISSR patterns does not differ significantly in the species. Therefore, our study supports the separate taxonomic treatment of H. chaiyrakanicum and the subordination of the cryptic species H. setigerum within H. gmelinii. 相似文献

The present paper gives a review of Solenysa species from Japan and provides a solution for the species bearing the generotype name Solenysa
mellotteei Simon, 1894. A total of six species are recorded, including two new species Solenysa
macrodonta
sp. n. and Solenysa
trunciformis
sp. n. The species collected from Kawasaki (NSMT-Ar 11154) and Hachioji should be the generotype Solenysa
mellotteei, with Solenysa
akihisai Tu, 2011, syn. n. as its junior synonym. To distinguish these congeneric species from each other, their genital characters are provided in detail based on images collected by scanning electron microscopy and light microscopy. 相似文献

The subfamily Cyclidiinae from China is reviewed: two genera and seven species are reported from China. One new subspecies, Cyclidiafractifasciataindistinctasubsp. n., is described. Two new synonyms are established: Cyclidiasubstigmaria (Hübner, 1831) (= Cyclidiasubstigmariabrunna Chu & Wang, 1987, syn. n. = Cyclidiatetraspota Chu & Wang, 1987, syn. n.). One misidentification in Chu & Wang (1987) is corrected. Identification keys and diagnoses for all discussed Chinese species are provided. External features and genitalia are depicted. In addition, results of DNA barcoding for five taxa of Cyclidia are briefly discussed. 相似文献

LUCIA HELENA SOARES-SILVA VIDAL DE FREITAS MANSANO 《Botanical journal of the Linnean Society. Linnean Society of London》2004,146(1):103-106
A new species Exostyles godoyensis Soares-Silva & Mansano (Leguminosae, Papilionoideae, Swartzieae), endemic to Paraná state in southern Brazil, is described and illustrated. The new species is distinct from all the other species of Exostyles in having a leaf with up to five leaflets, while the other species have at least seven leaflets per leaf. The new species is distinct from Exostyles amazonica Yakovlev in its longer stamen filaments and ovary stipe and from E. glabra Vogel and E. venusta Schott by its shorter anthers. In addition to these morphological characters E. godoyensis has a disjunct geographical distribution. © 2004 The Linnean Society of London, Botanical Journal of the Linnean Society , 2004, 146 , 103–106. 相似文献

Hammatoderus wappesi n. sp. and H. garciaorum n. sp. are described from Mexico, Veracruz and Oaxaca and Veracruz, respectively. Hammoderus brasiliensis Breuning, 1943 and Plagiohammus camillus Dillon & Dillon, 1949 are proposed as synonyms of Hammatoderus confusor (Dillon & Dillon, 1941); Plagiohammus rotundipennis Breuning, 1950 is proposed as a synonym of Hammatoderus pollinosus (Bates, 1880). A replacement name, Deliathis neonivea nom. nov., for Deliathis nivea (Breuning, 1943) n. comb., a secondary homonym of D. nivea Bates, 1869, is proposed. Three other new combinations are proposed: Deliathis imperatrix (Thomson, 1868) n. comb.; Monochamus sargi (Bates, 1885) n. comb.; and Monochamus blairi (Breuning, 1936) n. comb. Monochamus sargi and Hammatoderus pollinosus are redescribed. Hammatoderus sticticus (Bates, 1874) is newly recorded from Bolivia, with H. confusor newly recorded from Argentina and Colombia and its known distribution in Brazil expanded to include the state of Sao Paulo. Distribution of Deliathis imperatrix in Mexico is expanded to include the state of Morelos. A key to species of Hammatoderus and a key to species of Taeniotes “amazonum” group are also provided. 相似文献
