Anthracoidea maquensis, a new species of smut fungi from China

This paper describes one new species of smut fungi from Gansu Province, Northwestern China, Anthracoidea maquensis on the host plant Kobresia maquensis, an endemic Chinese species, it was compared with the five known species on the host plant section elyna of Kobresia and the differences of each species were given in the key.     

中国硅藻化石新种和新记录种

在对江汉平原钻孔中的化石硅藻进行鉴定时,发现1个新种类：江汉异极藻（新种）Gomphonema jianghanensis sp.nov.,该种的主要特征为：壳面狭披针形或线性披针形,端部和基部圆形,中轴区窄。中心区宽呈横矩形,在紧靠中心区的一侧具1条很短的线纹,另一侧有时有1条很短的线纹,有时没有线纹,无孤点。壳缝呈直线,在中央区附近略弯向一侧,在极节处折向另一侧。线纹轻微放射状,中部略弯曲,在近顶端处没有线纹,在10μm内,中部具6—13条。长20—30μm,宽4—7μm。4个中国新记录属：楔异极藻属Gomphosphenia Lange-Bertalot、楔月藻属（新记录属）Cymbopleura Krammer、优美藻属Delicata Krammer、尖月藻属Encyonopsis Krammer,8个中国新记录种：微小异极藻Gomphonema minutiforme Lange-Bertalot＆Reichardt、较细楔异极藻Gomphosphenia tenerrima（Hustedt）Reichardt、舌状楔异极藻Gomphosphenia lingulatiforme（Hustedt）Lange-Bertalot、瑞克舟形藻Navicula rakowskae Lange-Bertalot、北方羽纹藻岛屿变种Pinnularia borealis var.islandica Lange-Bertalot,舟形盖斯勒藻Geissleria tectissima（Lange-Bertalot）Lange-Bertalot＆Metaeltin、岩生楔月藻小变种Cymbopleura rupicola var.minor Krammer和法国尖月藻Encyonopsis falaisensis（Grunow）Krammer,1个种的补充说明：中华优美藻Delicata sinensis Krammer ＆ Metzetin。     

New species and records of Heteroconium (anamorphic fungi) from southern China

Four anamorphic fungal species of Heteroconium were collected from tropical and subtropical forests in southern China. Among them, Heteroconium tsoongiodendronis sp. nov. and Heteroconium fici sp. nov. are described from specimens collected on dead branches of Tsoongiodendron odorum and Ficus gibbosa, respectively. Two species of Heteroconium, H. decorosum and H. ponapense, are recorded for the first time in China. A key to Heteroconium and related genera is also provided.     

中国尾孢类真菌三个新记录种

报道尾孢类真菌3个中国新记录种:寄生在毛蔓豆Calopogonium mucunoides上的毛蔓豆假尾孢Pseudocercospora calopogonii,寄生在中平树Macaranga denticulata上的血桐生假尾孢Pseudocercospora macarangicola和寄生在毛胶薯蓣Dioscorea subcalva上的薯蓣假小尾孢Pseudocercosporella dioscoreae。提供了各个种的形态描述、手绘图及与近似种区别的讨论。研究的标本保存在中国科学院菌物标本馆(HMAS)及吉林农业大学菌物标本馆(HMJAU)。     

耐热真菌五个中国新记录种

通过形态特征观察、rDNA-ITS序列测定及分析,报道5个耐热真菌中国新记录种,即加纳木霉Trichoderma ghanense,芬尼新萨托菌Neosartorya fennelliae,草莓状炭团菌Hypoxylon fragiforme,焦特普尔毛壳Chaetomium jodhpurense,黄色毛壳Chaetomium luteum。根据所采集的标本和菌种对这些种进行了描述和讨论。研究标本保存在山东农业大学植物病理学标本室(HSAUP)。     

中国耐热真菌三个新记录种

报道3个耐热真菌中国新记录种,瘤突毛壳Chaetomium strumarium,耐热梭孢壳Thielavia subthermophila,榛色钩囊菌Hamigera avellanea。根据所采集的标本和菌种对这些种进行了描述和讨论。研究标本保存在山东农业大学植物病理学标本室（HSAUP）。     

中国文字衣属新种和新记录种

报道了文字衣属Graphis 2个新种和2个中国新记录种。新种疣体文字衣Graphis verrucata 和魏氏文字衣 G. weii分别采自四川和海南;新记录种钝盘文字衣Graphis cognata采自海南和浙江,树突文字衣G. dendrogramma采自福建。文中对新种提供了详细描述和显微结构图片。     

New species and new records of diatoms from Lake Fuxian,China

Abstract One new species, four newly recorded genera, and two newly recorded species of diatoms are described from China. They are Sellaphora fuxianensis sp. nov. Li, Sellaphora Mereschkowsky, Karayevia Round & Bukhtiyarova, Placoneis Mereschkowsky, Fallacia Stickle & Mann, Placoneis prespanensis Levkov, Krstic & Nakov, and Fallacia lucinensis (Hustedt) D. G. Mann. All taxa were collected from Lake Fuxian in Yunnan Province, China. These species were observed with light and scanning electron microscopes, and their taxonomic characters are discussed.

New species and records of orbiliaceous fungi from Georgia,USA

Orbilia georgiana and O. renispora are described as new species to science, in addition, O. eucalypti, O. occulta, and O. xanthoguttulata are reported based on collections taken from the state of Georgia, USA. Orbilia xanthoguttulata is a new record for North America. The morphology of all species is described based on both sexual and asexual morphs. Asexual morphs were obtained from ascospore isolates, from which also DNA was extracted and used to amplify rDNA genes (ITS and LSU) for phylogenetic comparison.     

Biotrophic fungi from Kenya: Ten new species and some new records of Meliolaceae

As part of a research programme studying the diversity of fungi associated with rare plants in Kenya, nine new species of Meliola and one of Cryptomeliola associated with seven plant families are described and illustrated. They include Meliola craterispermi, M. dendroseta, M. fragrans, M. kakamegensis, M. longiappressoriata, M. muhakae, M. phaeomaculans, M. taitensis, M. trilepisii and C. Natans. Host families include Araliaceae, Ebenaceae, Euphorbiaceae, Loganiaceae, Melastomataceae, Menispermaceae, Moraceae and Rubiaceae. New records for Kenya include Meliola ambigua, M. artabotrydis, M. carissae, M. clerodendri, M. impatientis, M. pycnostachydis, M. phytolaccae and M. polytricha.     

细基格孢属一新种和两个中国新记录种

A new species and two new Chinese records in the genus Ulocladium from soil are reported. New species is Ulocladium leve, and the new records are U. alternariae and U. consortiale. Latin diagnosis of the new species is presented. Holotype specimen (dried culture) of the new species and dried cultures of two new records are deposited in the Herbarium of Shandong Agricultural University: Plant Pathology (HSAUP).

A new species, Dicheirinia panamensis, and new records of rust fungi from Panama

Based on a recent fieldwork in Panama, 25 species of rust fungi and several new hosts are reported for the first time from this country. Among the new records is one new species, Dicheirinia panamensis on Cojoba rufescens (Fabaceae). It differs from known species in the genus Dicheirinia by the presence of uredinia and telia without paraphyses, irregularly tuberculate urediniospores with two germ pores on the flattened sides, and tuberculate teliospores formed by three probasidial cells, subtended by a pedicel with three hyaline, apical cells. Taxonomical novelty: Dicheirinia panamensis J.R. Hern.,M. Piepenbr. and Vega Rios.     

地衣型真菌三个中国新记录种

报道了在宁夏六盘山和贺兰山发现的3个地衣型真菌中国新记录种,分别是亚洲黄烛衣(Candelaria asiatica D.Liu&J.-SHur),黄厚膜衣[Placolecis loekoesiana(S.Y. Kondr., Farkas, J.J. Woo&Hur) An. C. Yin]和粉橙衣(Caloplaca lenae S?chting&Figueras)。对3个种的形态解剖特征进行了详细描述,并提供了形态结构照片。凭证标本保存在宁夏大学生命科学学院植物标本室。     

中国水生跳虫新种及新记录种记述 (弹尾目)

自Uchida(1948)从山西东冶县发现中国第1种水生Podura aquatica Linnaeus, 1785以来,中国弹尾目水生种类再未见报道。该文记述了采自上海植物园水塘静水表面的弹尾目5新种,水生原Podura aquatica, 尹氏球角Hypogastrura yinae sp. Nov., 沼生陷等Isotomurus palustris, 水生握角圆Sminthurides aquaticus 及刺拟勃氏圆Pseudobourletiella spinata。 其中水生握角圆和刺拟勃氏圆为中国新记录种,尹氏球角为新种。新种的模式标本及观察的其它种的标本存放在中国科学院上海昆虫研究所标本馆。
