Activity curves are determined for gibberellins A1 to A0 bythe Avena first-leaf bioassay method. Gibberellins A1, A4 andA5 can be detected at 10-11 or 10-10 g/ml and give optimum activityof approximately 230 per cent elongation (water controls = 100per cent). Gibberellins A2A3, and A9 can be detected at 10-3g/mland give optimum activity of approximately 200 per cent. GibberellinsA6 and A7 can be detected at 10-5g/ml; GA7 gives optimum activityof around 190 per cent. All the gibberellins except GA8 canbe detected by this bioassay method after chromatography inn-butanol: 1.5 N ammonia (3: 1) and benzene: acetic acid: water(4: 2: 1) when applied to the paper at concentrations from O.Ito µg. The sensitivity of the method is compared withthat of other gibberellin bioassay methods.  相似文献

The distribution of exogenously-supplied radioactive labelledindol-3-yl-acetic acid (IAA) and gibberellin A1 (GA1) in geotropicallystimulated roots of Norway spruce (Picea abies (L.) Karst.)has been demonstrated. Seedlings were positioned with theirroot tips in 2.1 x 10–6 M [14C]IAA or 1.3 x 10–8m 3H-GA1 for 4 and 20 h, respectively. After geotropic stimulationfor 90 min in the horizontal position the root tips were cutlongitudinally in 50 µm thick sections, using a freeze-microtome.The radioactivity in the 14C-IAA treated roots occurred in higherconcentration in the lower than in the upper halves (ratio 1.25:1). A similar trend was observed in the [3H]GA1-treated rootswhere the ratio lower: upper halves was 2.04: 1. The ratio ofradioactivity in right and left halves of vertical roots wasapproximately the same in roots supplied with [14C]IAA and [3H]GA1(1.09: 1). The supplied radioactive compounds were analysed chromatographicallyafter extraction in methanol of 6 mm apical root segments. Onlya small fraction (7–8 per cent) of the supplied [14C]IAAwas revealed unchanged in the segments. The major part of thechromatographed, labelled compound has not been identified,but on basis of its RF value it is suggested that it may beindol-3-acetyl-aspartic acid (IAAasp). The chromatographic analysis of the [3H]GA,-treated segmentsshowed that only small fractions of this gibberellin has beenconverted to other compounds. These results have been discussed and correlated with knowledgeof plant growth regulators and their participation in root geotropism. The biological activity of a cell wall-derived xyloglucan nonasaccharide(XG9) was investigated using a bioassay with entire pea epicotyls(Pisum sativum cv. Progress). The xyloglucan fragment was foundto inhibit gibberellic acid-induced elongation of etiolatedpea epicotyls with maximum inhibition at concentrations rangingfrom 10–11 to 10–9M. Growth of etiolated epicotylsin the absence of exogenously applied GA3 was also inhibitedby XG9 in the same concentration range. A cell wall-derivedheptasaccharide (XG7) lacking the fucosyl-galactosyl-side chainshowed no inhibitory effect in the pea epicotyl bioassay withand without exogenous GA3. Furthermore, the biological activityof a synthetic pentasaccharide (XG5), containing the fucosylgalactosyl-sidechain which is necessary for the biological activity was investigatedin the same bioassay. Compared to XG9 the pentasaccharide hada similar inhibitory activity on GA3-promoted elongation aswell as on the endogenous growth in the absence of exogenouslyapplied GA3, but did not exhibit a distinct concentration optimum. The effects of a number of growth-promoting and growth-inhibitingsubstances, including two fungal toxins, were studied on theextension of segments of etiolated tomato seedling hypocotyls.The bioassay was sensitive to small quantities of NaF, coumarinand 2, 4-DNP and inhibition was observed at all concentrations.2, 4-DNP or Iodoacetate stimulated growth at concentrationsbetween 1? 10–4 and 5 ? 10–6M. or 1 ? 10–6and 1 ? 10–7M. respectively. Inhibitor experiments inbuffered nutrient solution were approximately 10 per cent. moresensitive than those in deionized water. By means of paper partition chromatography small quantitiesof two fungal toxins, fusaric and alternaric acid were chromatographedand bioassayed. The effect of fussric acid (5, n-butyI picolinicacid) on hypocoty1 growth was detected at concentrations aslow as 1 ? 10–5M. Experiments with recongnized growth-promoting substances showedthat Kinetin inhibited growth at concentrations up to 1 ?10–8M.in both light and dark. IAA inhibited growth up to 1 ? 10–6M.At 1 ? 10–7 and 1 ? 10–8 only small increases occurredwith IAA and the effect of light was negligible. Gibberellicacid (GA2)stimulated growth at concentrations from 10–3to 10–7M. and significant increases up to 17 per cent.were recorded in the light. Since the light induced inhibitionwas only partly restored, the existence of some other naturallight sensitive growth substance is suggested. The value ofthe bioassay as a method for estimating natural growth-inhibitingand growth-promoting substances is discussed.  相似文献

The activities of Hill reaction and photosynthetic 14CO2 fixationin bundle sheath strands enzymatically isolated from millet(Panicum miliaceum) were 3–15 times as high as those observedin corn (Zea mays). In both preparations, 3-phosphoglyceratewas the initial 14CO2 fixation product and the radioactivitywas incorporated into sucrose and insoluble compounds (glucose-polymers)during the later period. After 20 sec of photosynthetic 14CO2fixation, the percent of 14C incorporated into sugar phosphatesin millet was about 3 times as high as that in corn, while incorn, the percent of 14C in 3-phosphoglycerate was higher thanthat observed in millet throughout the experimental period.When 14C-phosphoglycerate was added to the isolated bundle sheathstrands, the rates of transfer of the radioactivity to dihydroxyacetonephosphate and sugar diphosphates in millet were significantlyhigher than those in corn. These results indicate that in thebundle sheath strands isolated from corn in which photosystemII activity is deficient, the reductive pentose cycle is impairedat the reduction step of 3-phosphoglycerate to glyceraldehydephosphate due to the limited supply of NADPH through the photoelectrontransport system. The increase of -amylase activity in embryoless rice endosperminduced by the addition of gibberellin A3 was examined undervarious conditions with an aim to establish a bioassay methodfor gibberellins. Sterilized embryoless rice endosperms were incubated in a testtube containing 0.2–1.0 ml of test solution for 4 daysat 30. -Amylase activity in the endosperm was determined bymeasuring digestion of added starch. The increase of amylaseactivity during the incubation was not affected by the additionof various vitamins, amino acids, organic acids, protease, sucrose,indoleacetic acid or kinetin. Helminthosporol, helminthosporicacid and sclerin (1–10 µg/ml) had weak promotingeffects. Under appropriate conditions, 10–5 µg/mlof gibberellin A3 could be detected. In double logarithmic plot,the increase in the enzyme activity was proportional to thegibberellin A3 concentration in the range from 10–5 to10–2 µg/ml. (Received April 13, 1966; )  相似文献

Avermectin类农药对美洲斑潜蝇Liriomyzasattvae Blanchard生物活性的室内研究结果表明: 揭阳霉素对美洲斑潜蝇1、2、3龄幼虫的LC50分别是1.54×10-4 g/L、3.73×10-4 g/L、1.99×10-3g/L;害极灭对上述幼虫的LC50分别是1.48×10-4g/L、3.68x10-4 g/L和1.97×10-3 g/L。美洲斑潜蝇幼虫对Avermectln类农药以1龄最敏感,其中揭阳霉素对3龄幼虫的LC50是1龄的12.9倍。揭阳霉素对雌成虫24 h、48 h的LC50分别是3.12×10-3 g/L和2.08×10-3 g/L,其对美 洲斑潜蝇取食、产卵拒避持效期分别是4-8天和10天。使用浓度0.005 g/L揭阳霉素处理6天、8天和10天后接虫,幼虫的存活率分别是0、16.13%和28.07%。田间使用浓度0.005 g/L的揭 阳霉素和0.0045 g/L几的害极灭分别处理,6天后的校正虫口减退率分别为91.0%和90.9%,两者差异不显著,而使用浓度0.0067 g/L揭阳霉素处理,6天后校正虫口减退率为93.6%。  相似文献

Spring wheat plants were grown in a cage with a glass roof untilthree days after anthesis and then subjected to treatments inconstant environment rooms with any one of all combinationsof four irradiances and two concentrations of carbon dioxide.The photoperiod was 16 h and day/night temperatures 19?C/14?C.Growth and yield of grain were saturated at the two brightestirradiances. Carbon dioxide enrichment from 350 to 1200 mm3dm–3 increased shoot dry weight and grain yield at finalharvest at all irradiances, by averages of 10.5 (not significant)and 23.5 (significant) percent respectively. However, increasingthe irradiance from 150 to 613 µE m–2 s–1caused much larger yield increases (approximately 3-fold). Increasedgrain production by increased light was caused by both increasesin dry weight per grain and by increases in grain number perspikelet. The increase caused by CO2 enrichment was mainly becauseof increased dry weight per grain. Increase in ear dry weightcaused by CO2 enrichment took place between 30 and 60 d afteranthesis. The increase in shoot dry weight took place immediatelyafter exposure to increased CO2 from 3 to 15 d after anthesis.Net photosynthesis by flag leaves on the main shoots was almostdoubled 16 d after anthesis by the CO2 enrichment even thoughstomatal resistance was also doubled. However, this increasewas not reflected by a proportional increase in yield, probablybecause increased mutual shading by bigger stems and late tillersreduced total assimilation and because of increased respirationby the shoots. 小菜蛾Plutella xylostella是我国南方十字花科蔬菜上的重要害虫,已对田间常用的化学杀虫剂产生了严重的抗性。为寻找有效的小菜蛾生物防治措施,本实验研究了一株分离自家白蚁的玫烟色拟青霉Paecilomyces fumosoroseus (SCAU-PFCF01)对小菜蛾2~4龄幼虫的致病力。实验采用浸液法,供试浓度为1×103、1×104、1×105、1×106和1×107个孢子/mL。结果表明:随玫烟色拟青霉孢子浓度的升高,小菜蛾的感病死亡率增加,在浓度为1×107 /mL时,小菜蛾2、3和4龄幼虫的累计死亡率分别为96%、85%和80%。玫烟色拟青霉对小菜蛾各龄幼虫的致病力与供试龄期有关,其感病的敏感顺序为2龄、3龄和4龄。用时间 剂量 死亡率模型(time-dose-mortality model,TDM)对各龄幼虫的致病力数据进行模拟,所建模型均顺利通过Hosmer-Lemeshow拟合异质性检验,表明模型拟合良好,并由模型估计出了该菌株对小菜蛾各龄幼虫的致死剂量与致死时间。2龄幼虫接种后第7天、3龄幼虫接种后第5天、4龄幼虫接种后第4天的LC50估计值分别为1.17×104、1.44×104和5.21×104 /mL,LC90估计值分别为1.98×106、3.82×107和1.29×108 /mL。玫烟色拟青霉对小菜蛾幼虫的致死时间与浓度相关,供试各龄幼虫的LT50值随着孢子悬浮液浓度的增加而递减,在1×105~1×107 /mL的范围内,2龄幼虫的LT50值从3.16天降低到1.72天,3龄幼虫的LT50从3.21天降低到1.83天,4龄幼虫的LT50从3.69天降低到2.04天。即2龄幼虫致死所需的时间最短,其次为3龄幼虫,4龄幼虫致死所需的时间最长。结果显示了该株玫烟色拟青霉在小菜蛾的生物防治中具较强的应用潜力。  相似文献

Excised plugs containing buds from potato tubers were treatedwith 5-µliter droplets of a number of growth-regulatingsubstances. Gibberellin A3 stimulated sprouting over a widerange of concentrations. Gibberellins A3, A4, A5, and A7 stimulatedsprouting, and A6, A8, and A9 either had no effect or slightlyinhibited. Extracts of gibberellinlike substances from potatopeelings promoted sprouting. NAA and IAA both promoted sproutingslightly at low concentrations (4 x 10–8M) but inhibitedsprouting at 4 x 10–5M. Leaching of plugs resulted indelayed sprouting, and gibberellin restored total sproutingpotential. Plug size influenced rate of sprouting: small plugs(8 mm in diameter) sprouted faster than large (23 mm) plugs,and gibberellin stimulated sprouting slightly faster in thelarger than in the 8 mm plugs. None of the presumed componentsof ß, including cinnamic, chlorogenic, and caffeicacids, and coumarin, convincingly inhibited sprouting; in fact,they stimulated sprouting at almost all concentrations tested.5- Fluorouracil (5-FU) inhibited sprouting only slightly; andgibberellin completely or partially promoted sprouting in plugspreviously treated with 5-FU. Failure of 5-FU to inhibit sproutingwas considered to be the result of slow penetration of the inhibitorinto the potato bud. The potato "eye" bioassay is deficient in certain aspects, especiallyin view of the inconsistent rates of sprouting between experimentsand of nonspecificity. The rates of net photosynthesis by closed canopies of tomatoplants were measured at three CO2 concentrations and three humiditiesover a range of natural light flux densities. The data havebeen analysed using a model of canopy photosynthesis which allowsfor variation in leaf area index and other leaf and canopy characteristics.The model also deals explicitly with the effects of CO2 concentration,leaf conductance, and photorespiration on the leaf photochemicalefficiency, . The leaves were found to have a photochemicalefficiency in the absence of photorespiration, m, of 12?6 ?10–9 kg (CO2) J–1. At a CO2 concentration of 0?73 ? 10–3 kg m–3 (400vpm) the leaf photochemical efficiency, , and canopy light utilizationefficiency, c, were 18 per cent greater at a vapour pressuredeficit of 0?5 kPa than at 1?0 kPa. At a CO2 concentration of2?2 ? 10–3 kg m–3 (1200 vpm) they were only 5 percent greater.  相似文献

A full-length cDNA for maize root-form phosphoenolpyruvate carboxylase(PEPC) was isolated. In the coding region, the root-form PEPCshowed 76 and 77% identity with the C4- and C3-form PEPCs ofmaize, respectively, at the nucleotide level. At the amino acidlevel, the root-form was 81 and 85% identical to the C4- andC3-form PEPCs, respectively. The entire coding region was insertedinto a pET32a expression vector so that it was expressed underthe control of T7 promoter. The purified recombinant root-formPEPC had a Vmax value of about 28 mol min–1(mg protein)1at pH 8.0. The Km values of root-form PEPC for PEP and Mg2+were one-tenth or less of those of C4-form PEPC when assayedat either pH 7.3 or 8.0, while the value for HCO3 wasabout one-half of that of C4-form PEPC at pH 8.0. Glucose 6-phosphateand glycine had little effect on the root-form PEPC at pH 7.3;they caused two-fold activation of the C4-form PEPC. The Ki(L-malate) values at pH 7.3 were 0.12 and 0.43 raM for the root-and C4-form PEPCs, respectively. Comparison of hydropathy profilesamong the maize PEPC isoforms suggested that several stretchesof amino acid sequences may contribute in some way to theircharacteristic kinetic properties. The root-form PEPC was phosphorylatedby both mammalian cAMP-dependent protein kinase and maize leafprotein kinase, and the phosphorylated enzyme was less sensitiveto L-malate. 1These authors contributed equally to this work. 2Present address: Otsuka Chemical Co. Seedlings of Italian ryegrass (Lolium multiflorum Lam. cv. RVP)and clonal stolon cuttings of white clover (Trifolium repensL. cv. Blanca) were grown for 19 d in flowing solution culture,with N supplied as either 250 mmol m–3 NO3 or NH3+.Rates of net uptake, influx and translocation of NO3and NH4+ were then determined using 15N and 13N labelling techniques:between 3–5 h into the photoperiod following 8 h darknessfor white clover (CL), and for ryegrass plants that were eitherentire (IL) or with shoots excised 90 min prior to 13N influx(IC); and 75 min into the photoperiod following 37–39h darkness for ryegrass (ID). Rates of net uptake, influx andefflux of NH4+ exceeded those of NO3 in IL and IC ryegrassplants: the opposite occurred in white clover (CL). The decreasein net uptake following defoliation of ryegrass was greaterfor NH4+ (62%) than NO3 (40%). For NH4+ this was associatedwith a large decrease in influx from 110 to 6.0µmol h–1g–1 root fr. wt; but for NO3, influx only decreasedfrom 42 to 37 µmol h–1 g–1. Prolonged exposureto darkness (ID plants) also lowered net uptake of NO3and NH4+ by, respectively, 86% and 95% of IL levels. For NH4+this was characterized by a large decrease in influx and a smalldecrease in efflux; whilst for NO3 the effect of a largedecrease in influx was reinforced by a smaller increase in efflux. The data were used to estimate the translocatory fluxes of NO3(03–20µmol h–1 g–1) and NH4+ (003–0.4µmolh–1 g–1), assimilation in the roots of NO3(02–26µmol h–1 g–1) and NH+4 (05–89 µmolh–1 g–1), and the concentrations of NO3 (9–15mol m–3) in the cytoplasmic compartment of the roots.The relevance of variable influx and efflux to models for theregulation of N uptake is discussed. The anionic composition was determined for pure rice phloemsap which had been collected from brown planthopper styletsby cutting them with a YAG laser beam. The most abundant inorganicanion was Cl at 52.1 mM. PO43– and SO42–were found at 8.1 mM and 1.8 mM, respectively. NO3 waspresent at 1.9 mM when the rice had been grown with nutrientsolution containing 0.35 m of NO3 The phloem sap alsocontained malic, succinic and citric acid at 7.3, 3.0 and 3.2mM respectively. The role of nitric oxide (NO) in the occurrence of intracellular Ca2+ concentration ([Ca2+]i) oscillations in pituitary GH3 cells was evaluated by studying the effect of increasing or decreasing endogenous NO synthesis with L-arginine and nitro-L-arginine methyl ester (L-NAME), respectively. When NO synthesis was blocked with L-NAME (1 mM) [Ca2+]i, oscillations disappeared in 68% of spontaneously active cells, whereas 41% of the quiescent cells showed [Ca2+]i oscillations in response to the NO synthase (NOS) substrate L-arginine (10 mM). This effect was reproduced by the NO donors NOC-18 and S-nitroso-N-acetylpenicillamine (SNAP). NOC-18 was ineffective in the presence of the L-type voltage-dependent Ca2+ channels (VDCC) blocker nimodipine (1 µM) or in Ca2+-free medium. Conversely, its effect was preserved when Ca2+ release from intracellular Ca2+ stores was inhibited either with the ryanodine-receptor blocker ryanodine (500 µM) or with the inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate receptor blocker xestospongin C (3 µM). These results suggest that NO induces the appearance of [Ca2+]i oscillations by determining Ca2+ influx. Patch-clamp experiments excluded that NO acted directly on VDCC but suggested that NO determined membrane depolarization because of the inhibition of voltage-gated K+ channels. NOC-18 and SNAP caused a decrease in the amplitude of slow-inactivating (IDR) and ether-à-go-go-related gene (ERG) hyperpolarization-evoked, deactivating K+ currents. Similar results were obtained when GH3 cells were treated with L-arginine. The present study suggests that in GH3 cells, endogenous NO plays a permissive role for the occurrence of spontaneous [Ca2+]i oscillations through an inhibitory effect on IDR and on IERG. voltage-gated potassium channels; ether-à-go-go-related gene potassium channels; slow-inactivating outward currents; fast-inactivating outward currents  相似文献

在武汉南湖5个采样点分别采集了湖水和柱状沉积物样品,对水体、沉积物及其间隙水中磷的季节变化以及沉积物中的不同形态磷进行了研究.结果表明: 水体总磷(TP)和正磷酸盐磷(PO43--P)的平均含量分别为0.240和0.033 mg·L-1.TP和PO43--P均在11月含量最高,但TP含量的最低值出现在2月,PO43--P含量的最低值出现在8月.沉积物中TP的平均含量为1.005 mg·g-1, 4—11月呈上升趋势,11月至次年2月趋于稳定;其垂直分布上随沉积深度增加逐渐降低.其间隙水PO43--P的平均含量为0.209 mg·L-1,11月最高,2月最低,其垂直分布规律与沉积物TP一致.沉积物中的不同形态磷以无机磷为主,占TP的61.4%~77.1%.沉积物中活性磷(BA-P)的含量很高,但BA-P随沉积深度增加显著降低.相关性分析表明,沉积物主要通过BA-P和自生钙磷(ACa-P)的释放向水体供给磷.  相似文献

Gibberellin 3/ß-hydroxylase,a 2-oxoglutarate-dependentdioxygenase that catalyzes the hydroxylation of GA20 to GA1,was purified 313-fold from immature seeds of Phaseolus vulgarisL. The mol wt of the enzyme was estimated to be 42,000 by gelfiltration HPLC and SDS-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis.The enzyme exhibited maximum activity at pH 7.7. The Km valuesfor [2,3-3H]GA20 and [2,3-3H]GA, were 0.29µu and 0.33µm, respectively. The enzyme requires 2-oxoglutarate asa cosubstrate; the Km value for 2-oxoglutarate was 250µMusing [3H]- GA20 as a substrate. Fe2+ and ascorbate significantlyactivated the enzyme at all purification steps, while catalaseand BSA activated the purified enzyme only. The enzyme was inhibitedby divalent cations Mn2+, Co2+, Ni2+, Cu2+, Zn2+, Cd2+ and Hg2+.3ß-Hydroxylation of [3H]- GA20 was also inhibitedby non-radioactive GA5, GA9,GA15, GA20 and GA44. The possiblesite of 3ß-hydroxylation in gibberellin biosynthesisis discussed in terms of the substrate specificity of partiallypurified gibberellin 3ß-hydroxylase. Neutral glycosphingolipids and gangliosides were isolated from3.7 x 109 primary bovine aortic endothelial cells and structurallycharacterized by immunological and chemical methods. Glucosyl-and lactosylceramide were detected as the main neutral glycosphingolipids(28% and 40% of total orcinol stain, respectively); LcOse3Cerand nLcOse4Cer were expressed to somewhat minor amounts (16%and 10% of total orcinol stain, respectively), and nLcOse6Ceroccurred only in trace quantities. No neutral glycosphingolipidsof the ganglio-series (GgOse3Cer and GgOse4Cer) and the globo-series(GbOse4Cer and the Forssman antigen) have been detected; onlytraces of GbOse3Cer were identified by TLC immunostaining. PositiveCD15 bands obtained by TLC overlay with anti-Galβ1–4(Fucl-3)GlcNAcβ1-Rantibody indicated the presence of lipid bound Lewisx antigen,whereas the isomeric Lewisa structure (Galβ1–3(Fuc1–4)GlcNAcβ1-R)was not detectable. GM3 substituted with Neu5Gc and Neu5Ac ina 2:1 ratio was the major ganglioside comprising about 95% withinthe whole ganglioside fraction. GM3-structures were furthercharacterized by FAB-MS and GC-MS of the native compounds andtheir permethylated derivatives. C18-sphingosine was the onlylong chain base, whereas variation occurred due to C24:0,24:1and C16 fatty acids. Terminally 2–3 sialylated neolacto-seriesgangliosides with nL-cOse4- and nLcOse6Cer (<5% of totalresordnol stain) were found in almost equal quantities, whereasno 2–6 sialylated counterparts were detected. Fucosylatedgangliosides with poly-N-acetyllactosaminyl chains (sialyl Lewisx,sialyl Lewisa, and VIM-2 antigen) and sulfoglucuronyl-neolactoseries structures with HNK-1 epitope were not detectable inthe acidic glycosphingoiipid fraction by TLC immunostaining.Gangliotetraose-type gangliosides GM1 and GD1a (<1 % of totalresorcinol stain) as well as traces of GD1b and GT1b have beendistinctly identified by combined choleragenoid-TLC-immunostainingand previous neur-aminidase treatment.The expression of dominantglycosphingolipids lactosylceramide and GM3(Neu5Gc) was provedby indirect immunofiuorescence microscopy of cell layers grownin chamber slides, each showing different plasma membrane andsubcellular distribution patterns. Ten-day old kidney bean plants (Phaseolus vulgaris L. cv. Shin-edogawa)were exposed to 2.0 and 4–0 parts 10–6 NO2, and0.1, 0.2, and 0.4 parts 10–6 O3 alone or in combinationfor 2, 4, and 7 d. The effects of these air pollutants wereexamined with respect to the growth, partitioning of assimilates,nitrogen uptake, soluble sugar content, and root respiration. Decreased dry matter production was significant with all treatmentsexcept 2.0 parts 10–6 NO2 and 0.1 parts 10–6 O3.Exposure to mixtures of the gases produced more severe suppressionof growth than exposure to the single gases. Root/shoot ratiowas significantly lowered at 7 d by the gas treatments otherthan 2.0 parts 10–6 NO2 and 0.1 parts 10–6 O3. Thetotal nitrogen content of plants was increased by all treatments;the higher percent of nitrogen found with O3 exposure will resultfrom the growth retardation which increases the concentrationof nitrogen in the plants because the absorption of nitrogenby roots was unaffected. The combination of O3 with NO2 significantlydecreased the assimilation of NO2 by the plants. The concentration of soluble sugars in roots was decreased bythe gas treatments. There was a strong positive correlationbetween soluble sugar content and dry weight of the roots harvestedat 7 d. Root respiration was relatively unchanged until 5 dand then decreased significantly at 7 d by 2.0 parts 10–6NO2 and 0–2 parts 10–6 O3. Retarded growth of theroots and the decreased root respiration may be due to diminishedtranslocation of sugars from leaves to roots caused by exposureto air pollutants. 采用大田试验,在低密度条件下, 研究了我国北方1990年以来大面积种植的50个玉米主栽品种个体产量潜力和N利用效率.探测分析和正态分布检测结果表明,单株籽粒产量(GY)、千粒重(KW)、单株生物产量(AB)、籽粒收获指数(HIG)、N利用效率(NUE)和N收获指数(HIN)6个指标分别符合正态分布N(265.1,44.502)、N(322.3,36.912)、N(515.8,64.732)、N(0.514,0.062)、N(43.0,5.372)和N(0.643,0.062),其变化范围为GY 198.35~345.22 g/株、KW 241.50~391.82 g/1 000粒、AB 402.34~712.84 g/株、HIG 0.39~0.63、NUE 31.18~57.35 kg grain·kg-1N和HIN0.47~0.74.相关分析表明,产量与NUE高度正相关(偏相关系数0.471**,P=0.01),而籽粒千粒重与NUE呈显著性负相关(Pearson相关系数-0.427**,P=0.02).对GY和NUE进行分层聚类,将北方玉米品种划分为高产高NUE型、低产低NUE型和中间型,目前高产高NUE型玉米品种相对较少,仅占24%.  相似文献
