A new genus,Correllia, and its single species,C. montana, are described from Sierra Mohinora in southwestern Chihuahua, Mexico. The genus belongs in subtribe Peritylinae (Compositae tribe Helenieae) and appears to be most closely related toPerityle. 相似文献

The new genusCaucasalia is described. Four species are included, previously referred toSenecio, Cacalia, Cineraria, Pojarkovia orAdenostyles. The latter genus may be the closest relative, being similar in habit and chromosome number, but different in floret colour and style morphology. The new genus is centered in the Caucasus mountains, with extensions into Anatolia.Dedicated to emer. Univ.-Prof. DrFriedrich Ehrendorfer on the occasion of his 70th birthday 相似文献

A new genus and species from Mexico,Metastevia hintonii, is described. The genus, considered to be closely related to and derived fromStevia, differs in seven morphological features from all known species ofStevia. The reasons for recognizing the new genus are discussed in detail. 相似文献

A new rubiaceous genus Ramosmania from Rodrigues, Mauritius, is described and illustrated. A new combination R. heterophylla (Balf. f.) Tirvengadum & Verdcourt is made. The taxon believed to be extinct has been refound. 相似文献

Interspecific hybrids were obtained between Emilia coccinea(n = 5) and E. sonchifolia (n = 5). Except for quantitativecharacters such as plant size, head size, and leaf size, thediploid hybrid was similar to E. praetermissa (n = 10). Artificial polyploidization of the diploid hybrid resulted inan allotetraploid which is morphologically indistinguishablefrom E. praetermissa. The artificial tetraploid hybrid and E.praetermissa are also similar with respect to their karyotypesand their meiotic behaviours. Morphological and cytogenetic evidence suggest that E. praetermissaoriginated from a plant which is of hybrid origin and whichis similar to the synthetic tetraploid. 相似文献

A new monotypic ascomycete genus, Dictyocyclns gen. nov. with D. hydrangeae sp. nov. as its type, is described and illustrated. It is placed in the family Parmulariaceae and it is the second genus in that family with dictyoseptate ascospores. It is compared with Aldonata the only other member of the family with similar ascospores. 相似文献

Material from southern Bolivia, recently collected by Stephan Beck, is described as a new genus and species, Stephanbeckia plumosa (Compositae: Liabeae). Both morphological and molecular data place the genus in the broadly interpreted subtribe Paranepheliinae, but clearly distinct from other members. It differs morphologically by its small size, deciduous plumose pappus, lack of paleae, and compressed bicostate achenes. A key to the genera of the Liabeae is provided. 相似文献

Genus Anthessius includes 36 species. Previous attempts to clarify the interspecific affinities reached no definite conclusions. Humes and Ho (1965) found that, based on the armature of the third exopod segment of the fourth leg, the known species could be arranged into two groups, but that this difference did not correspond with host preferences. The present study of A. alatus Humes and Stock shows that species of Anthessius associated with Tridacnidae differ from the rest (except A. fitchi Illg) in the marked indentation of the cephalosome and in the presence of well developed cephalosomal and metasomal epimeral lobes producing a very characteristic shape. They are here removed to a new genus, Tridachnophilus. 相似文献

Two species are recognized within the genus,H. monogyra Torr. & Grayex Gray andH. salsola Torr. & Grayex Gray. Of these, the fall-floweringH. monogyra is monomorphic and unambiguous. The springfloweringH. salsola, however, is polymorphic and contains elements that have often been segregated as distinct species. Examination of character intergradation and interpretation of morphological variation against the evolution and distributional backgrounds indicate that the latter complex is best treated within three varietal taxa:H. salsola var.fasciculata, with wings of the fruiting involucres appressed and spirally arranged;H. salsola var.salsola, with wings emergent and spirally arranged; andH. salsola var.pentalepis, with wings strongly emergent and whorled. 相似文献

A new monotypic genus of Naupactini (Coleoptera: Curculionidae), Obrieniolus del Río is described based on the new species Obrieniolus robustus del Río, endemic to Peru. This genus is easily recognized by the black, denuded and shiny integument, with imbricate microsculpture and the rounded body, with short, cordiform and moderately convex elytra. According to a cladistic analysis based on 69 continuous and discrete morphological characters, the new genus is the sister taxon of a group formed by Amitrus Schoenherr, Trichocyphus Heller, Amphideritus Schoenherr, Asymmathetes Wibmer & O'Brien and Galapaganus Lanteri. The paper includes habitus photographs, line drawings of genitalia, mouthparts, and other external features of taxonomic value, and a dichotomous key to the genera of Naupactini distributed in the South American Transition Zone. 相似文献

Nassauvia coronipappa Arroyo & Marticorena, from Cerro Donoso in eastern Chilean Patagonia, is described and illustrated. It is distinguished by trifid inner involucral bracts and persistent, brief, laciniate-dentate, crown-like pappus incompletely surrounding summit of the achene. The distinctive pappus may be related to selection, in harsh alpine habitats, against dispersal away from nurse sites.Nassauvia coronipappa belongs to subgenusNassauvia. It is seen as a relict member of an independent line of evolution, whose closest affinities are with sectionNassauvia of that subgenus. 相似文献

A revision of the dioecious genus Chersodoma (Senecioneae, Asteraceae) recognizes nine species, including a new species, C. deltoidea Sagást. & M. O. Dillon, from northern Peru and a status change for a northwestern Argentine endemic, C. glabriuscula (Cabrera) M. O. Dillon & Sagást. Chersodoma is confined to the Andean Cordillera and is the only dioecious member of the Senecioneae in continental South America. A cladistic analysis of a morphological data set supports the monophyly of the genus and the recognition of two previously established subgenera. Subgenus Chersodoma contains three species (C. argentina, C. candida, C. jodopappa) with greatest diversity in the semi-arid puna of northwestern Argentina and adjacent Bolivia and Chile. Subgenus Diclinanthus B. Nord., contains six species (C. antennaria, C. arequipensis, C. deltoidea, C. juanisernii, C. glabriuscula, and C. ovopedata) with greatest diversity in Peru. A key to Andean genera of Senecioneae is provided. A discussion of species relationships and historical biogeography is presented as suggested by morphological parsimony analysis. 相似文献
