SH-SY5Y cells, derived from a human neuroblastoma, were submitted to short- or long-term exposures to lithium carbonate concentrations ranging from 0.5 to 8 mM. Short-term exposures (4 days) to concentrations higher than 6 mM were found to reduce cell growth rate while exposure to 8 mM resulted in significant cell mortality. These ranges of concentrations induced an overexpression of (1) the HSP27 stress protein, (2) a 108 kDa protein (P108) recognized by an anti-phospho-HSP27(Ser78) antibody, and probably corresponding to a phosphorylated HSP27 tetramer, (3) a 105 kDa protein (P105), possible glycosylated or phosphorylated form of the GRP94 stress protein and (4) a phosphorylated (inactivated) form of glycogen synthase kinase (GSK3α/β) SH-SY5Y cells, when cultured in the presence of 0.5 mM lithium for 25 weeks, displayed interesting features as compared to controls: (1) higher cell growth rate, (2) increased resistance toward the inhibitory effects of high lithium concentrations on cell proliferation, (3) lower basal level of lipid peroxidation (TBARS) and improved tolerance to oxidative stress induced by high lithium concentrations, (5) reduced expression of monomeric HSP27 versus an increase of corresponding tetrameric protein (P108) and (6) overexpression of a 105 kDa protein (P105). In conclusion, our study suggests that chronic treatment (over several months) by therapeutic relevant lithium concentrations could favour neurogenesis, decrease the vulnerability of neuronal cells to oxidative stress and induce posttranslational changes of molecular chaperones.  相似文献

The present study deals with the effects of Ni on the expression level of three stress proteins, namely, the cytosolic HSP72 and HSP73, and the reticulum-associated GRP94. Experiments were carried out on "Wistar' female rats daily injected with 4 mg NiCl2 per kg body weight for 1, 3, 5, and 10 days. Another set of experiments were carried out using cell lines, derived from the monkey kidney (COS-7), and from human tumors of the lung (A549) and liver (HepG2). Cells were cultured for 4 days in the permanent presence of 100, 200, or 400 microM NiCl2. In control rats, stress proteins pattern was found to be tissue specific: two protein bands of 96 and 94 kDa were immunodetected with the anti-GRP94 antibody in kidney and liver extracts, whereas only the 96 kDa band was present in ovary extracts. HSP73 was present in kidney, liver, and ovary whereas HSP72 was only found in kidney. In kidney of nickel-treated animals, HSP73 and the 96 kDa proteins were overexpressed whereas HSP72 was strongly down regulated. No such effect was observed in liver or ovary. Similarly, in nickel-treated cell lines, HSP72 was downregulated and GRP94 (96 kDa protein) was overexpressed. HSP73 expression appeared moderately increased in A549 cells but decreased in COS-7 cells. Because long-term caloric restriction was reported to reduce free radical generation in cells, the effect of 1 month food restriction (50%) was tested in rats as a possible way to lower oxidative damages induced by Ni. No significant effect on HSP expression was observed.  相似文献

We have characterized the biochemical properties of the testis and brain-specific 105-kDa protein which is cross-reacted with an anti-bovine HSP90 antibody. The protein was induced in germ cells by heat stress, resulting in a protein which is one of the heat shock proteins [Kumagai, J., Fukuda, J., Kodama, H., Murata, M., Kawamura, K., Itoh, H. & Tanaka, T. (2000) Eur. J. Biochem.267, 3073-3078]. In the present study, we characterized the biochemical properties of the protein. The 105-kDa protein inhibited the aggregation of citrate synthase as a molecular chaperone in vitro. ATP/MgCl2 has a slight influence of the suppression of the citrate synthase aggregation by the 105-kDa protein. The protein possessed chaperone activity. The protein was able to bind to ATP-Sepharose like the other molecular chaperone HSP70. A partial amino-acid sequence (24 amino-acid residues) of the protein was determined and coincided with those of the mouse testis- and brain-specific APG-1 and osmotic stress protein 94 (OSP94). The 105-kDa protein was detected only in the medulla of the rat kidney sections similar to OSP94 upon immunoblotting. The purified 105-kDa protein was cross-reacted with an antibody against APG-1. These results suggested that APG-1 and OSP94 are both identical to the 105-kDa protein. There were highly homologous regions between the 105-kDa protein/APG-1/OSP94 and HSP90. The region of HSP90 was also an immunoreactive site. An anti-bovine HSP90 antibody may cross-react with the 105-kDa protein similar to HSP90 in the rat testis and brain. We have investigated the localization and developmental induction of the protein in the rat brain. In the immunohistochemical analysis, the protein was mainly detected in the cytoplasm of the nerve and glial cells of the rat brain. Although the 105-kDa protein was localized in all rat brain segments, the expression pattern was fast in the cerebral cortex and hippocampus and slow in the cerebellum.  相似文献

Since the worldwide approval of lithium therapy in 1970, lithium has been used for its anti-manic, antidepressant, and anti-suicidal effects. The last decade has witnessed the following discoveries about its neuroprotective and neurotrophic properties, yet the therapeutic mechanisms at the cellular level remain not-fully defined. We have undertaken the present study to determine if chronic lithium treatment, at therapeutically relevant concentrations, exerts neurotrophic/neuroprotective effects in the mouse brain in vivo. For this purpose, 10 months aged mice were fed for 3 months on food pellets contained 1 g (L1 group) or 2 g (L2 group) lithium carbonate/kg, resulting in serum concentrations of 0.4 and 0.8 mM, respectively. The evaluation of lipid peroxidation level and the activities of catalase, superoxide-dismutase and glutathione-peroxidase showed that chronic Li administration, at therapeutic doses doesn’t induce oxidative stress in brain tissue. No changes in the expression levels of molecular chaperones, namely, the HSP70, and HSP90 heat shock proteins and the GRP94 glucose-regulated protein were detected. Moreover, this treatment has caused (1) an increase in the relative brain weight (2) a delay in the age induced cerebral glucose impairment (3) an enhancement of the neurogenesis in hippocampus and enthorinal cortex highlighted by silver impregnation. Under these experimental conditions, no modifications were observed in expression levels of GSK3 and of its downstream target β-catenin proteins. These results suggested that chronic Li administration, at therapeutic doses, has a neuroprotective/neurotrophic properties and its therapeutic mechanism doesn’t implicate GSK3 inactivation.  相似文献

Effects of daily injections of lithium carbonate (20, 40 or 80 mg/kg body weight) during 14 and 28 days were investigated in Wistar mice. Attention was paid (1) to changes in concentrations of lithium, creatinine and urea in serum, (2) to level of oxidative stress by measuring lipids peroxidation level and catalase, superoxide-dismutase and glutathione-peroxidase activities, and (3) to changes in the histological structure of brain. The first intraperitoneal injection was followed by a transitory peak of lithium in the blood, reaching 0.25 mM and 1.1 mM and disappearing 6 and 12 h later for the 20 and 80 mg/kg doses, respectively. From the first to the last day of treatment, lithium concentrations in the blood, measured 12 h after the injections, increased from 0 to 0.11 mM (20 mg/kg dose) or 0.25 mM (80 mg/kg dose). The 80 mg/kg treatment induced a renal insufficiency evidenced by an increase of blood creatinine and urea levels. Lithium treatment was found to trigger an oxidative stress in kidney, but not in brain. In kidney, the lipid peroxidation level (TBARS) and the superoxide dismutase and catalase activities were increased. No change in glutathione peroxidase activity was detected. Histology of the brain cortex revealed interesting modifications: thicker neuronal cells and a denser network of dendrites, as compared to controls.  相似文献

Su, Wei Yi, and Terry Gordon. In vivo exposure to ozoneproduces an increase in a 72-kDa heat shock protein in guinea pigs.J. Appl. Physiol. 83(3): 707-711, 1997.Although several lines of evidence have suggested that oxidizingagents can induce heat shock proteins (HSPs) in vitro, little is knownabout the induction of HSPs during in vivo exposure to oxidants. Guinea pigs were exposed to ozone for 6 h and euthanized up to 72 h later. Proteins from lavage cells and lung tissue were characterized byimmunoblotting with 72- and 73/72-kDa HSP monoclonal antibodies. Although 73-kDa HSP was expressed constituitively in lung tissue, itwas not affected by ozone. In contrast, 72-kDa HSP was significantly increased in lavage cells and lung tissue of animals exposed to 0.4 and0.66 parts/million of ozone. Both heat treatment and arsenite induced72-kDa HSP in cultured alveolar macrophages. The increase in 72-kDa HSPin the lavage cell pellet peaked at 24 h after ozone, whereas theinflux of polymorphonuclear leukocytes peaked at 4 h. Examination ofthe induction of HSPs by ozone may provide clues to the development ofozone tolerance in humans and animals.

Doxorubicin (DOX) is an anthracycline drug used for cancer treatment. However, its treatment is contiguous with toxic effects. We examined the nephroprotective potential of A. hydaspica polyphenol-rich ethyl acetate extract (AHE) against DOX persuaded nephrotoxicity. 36 male Sprague Dawley rats were randomly assorted into 6 groups. Control group received saline; DOX group: 3 mg/kg b.w. dosage of DOX intraperitoneally for 6 weeks (single dose/week). In co-treatment groups, 200 and 400 mg/kg b.w AHE was given orally for 6 weeks in concomitant with DOX (3 mg/kg b.w, i.p. injection per week) respectively. Standard group received silymarin 400 mg/kg b.w daily + DOX (single dose/week). Biochemical kidney function tests, oxidative stress markers, genotoxicity, antioxidant enzyme status, and histopathological changes were examined. DOX caused significant body weight loss and decrease kidney weight. DOX-induced marked deterioration in renal function indicators in both urine and serum, i.e., PH, specific gravity, total protein, albumin, urea, creatinine, uric acid, globulin, blood urea nitrogen, etc. Also, DOX treatment increases renal tissue oxidative stress markers, while lower antioxidant enzymes in tissue along with degenerative alterations in the renal tissue compared to control rats. AHE co-treatment ameliorates DOX-prompted changes in serum and urine chemistry. Likewise, AHE treatment decreases sensitive markers of oxidative stress and prevented DNA damages by enhancing antioxidant enzyme levels. DOX induction in rats also caused DNA fragmentation which was restored by AHE co-treatment. Moreover, the histological observations evidenced that AHE effectively rescued the kidney tissue from DOX interceded oxidative damage. Our results suggest that co-treatment of AHE markedly improve DOX-induced deleterious effects in a dose-dependent manner. The potency of AHE co-treatment at 400 mg/kg dose is similar to silymarin. These outcomes revealed that A. hydaspica AHE extract might serve as a potential adjuvant that avoids DOX-induced nephrotoxicity.  相似文献

Oxidative stress is thought to be involved in lead-induced toxicity. The aim of this study was to investigate the possible protective role of naringenin on lead-induced oxidative stress in the liver and kidney of rats. In the present investigation, lead acetate (500 mg Pb/L) was administered orally for 8 weeks to induce hepatotoxicity and nephrotoxicity. The levels of hepatic and renal markers such as alanine aminotransferase, aspartate aminotransferase, urea, uric acid, and creatinine were significantly (P < 0.05) increased following lead acetate administration. Lead-induced oxidative stress in liver and kidney tissue was indicated by a significant (P < 0.05) increase in the level of maleic dialdehyde and decreased levels of reduced glutathione, superoxide dismutase, catalase, and glutathione peroxidase. Naringenin markedly attenuated lead-induced biochemical alterations in serum, liver, and kidney tissues (P < 0.05). The present study suggests that naringenin shows antioxidant activity and plays a protective role against lead-induced oxidative damage in the liver and kidney of rats.  相似文献

Background

The present study investigated the effects of rutin (RUT), which has various biological and pharmacological properties, on liver and kidney damage caused by histone deacetylase inhibitor valproic acid (VPA), which is used in the treatment of many psychiatric disorders.

Methods and results

In the study, 50 or 100 mg/kg RUT treatment was administered 30 min after 500 mg/kg VPA was given to rats for 14 days. Then, some pathways that may be involved in the damage mechanism of VPA in liver and kidney tissues were investigated using biochemical, RT-PCR and Western blotting techniques. The results displayed that the levels of MDA induced by VPA in liver and kidney tissues decreased after RUT treatment, and the levels of SOD, CAT, GPx and GSH suppressed by VPA increased after RUT administration. It was observed that ER stress induced by oxidative stress was alleviated by suppressing the expressions of ATF-6, PERK, IRE1 and GRP78 after RUT treatment. It was observed that the expressions of NF-κB, TNF-α, IL-6, JAK2 and STAT3 in the inflammatory pathway increased after VPA administration, while RUT treatment decreased the levels of these markers. It was also among the data obtained that the levels of markers that played a role in the regulation of apoptosis (Bax, Bcl-2, caspase-3, pERK, pJNK) or autophagy (Beclin-1, LC3A, LC3B) approached the control group after RUT treatment.

Conclusions

Taken together, it was determined that RUT treatment protected against liver and kidney damage by attenuating VPA-induced oxidative stress, ER stress, inflammation, apoptosis and autophagy.

The aim of this study was to examine the effects of alpha lipoic acid (ALA) supplementation during semen cryopreservation on the sperm quality, chromatin integrity, oxidative stress, and expression level of BAX, BCL2, HSP70 and iNOS genes in semen samples obtained from infertile men with asthenoteratozoospermia.MethodsTwenty freshly ejaculated semen samples were cryopreserved with sperm freezing medium supplemented with 0.00, 0.02, 0.05, 0.1, 0.5, and 1 mmol/mL of ALA. The samples were analyzed according to the WHO guidelines before and after freezing. Sperm ROS production level, DNA fragmentation and cryo-capacitation were assessed using flow cytometry, TUNEL assay and chlortetracycline (CTC) test, respectively. Expression level of stress protein (HSP70), pro-apoptotic Bax, anti-apoptotic Bcl-2, and iNOS genes was assessed by real-time PCR assay.ResultsThe effective concentrations of ALA (0.02 and 0.5 mM) significantly improved the motility, viability and morphology of the frozen-thawed sperms compared to the control group treated with 0.00 mM of ALA. During cryopreservation, treatment of semen with 0.02 mM of ALA, as the optimal concentration, significantly decreased DNA fragmentation and oxidative stress level (P < 0.05), protected the acrosome integrity, and led to insignificant reduction in BAX gene expression level and significant increase in expression level of BCL2, HSP70, and iNOS genes compared with control group.ConclusionOur findings revealed that the adding ALA to semen samples obtained from infertile men with asthenoteratozoospermia plays a significant protective role against cryodamage by preserving the sperm functional parameters.  相似文献

The role of the human small heat shock protein (HSP27) in oxidative stress was examined using stable transformants of an immortalized human fibroblast cell line (KMST-6) isolated by transfection of HSP27 expression vectors. Several stable transformants that expressed high or low levels of HSP27 protein were obtained. Clones expressing high levels of HSP27 were more sensitive to growth inhibition by a low dose of hydrogen peroxide (0.1 mM) than those expressing low levels. Clones expressing high levels of HSP27 did not acquire obvious resistance to hyperthermy and cytotoxic agents, except for one (#13), in which resistance to cytotoxic agents was increased. The level of phosphorylated HSP27 in clones expressing high levels of this protein increased at 30 min and was sustained even 4 hours after exposing the cells to 0.1 mM of hydrogen peroxide. On the other hand, the levels in clones expressing low levels of HSP27 were reduced within 4 hours after exposure to hydrogen peroxide. Furthermore, overexpression of nonphosphorylatable mutant HSP27 did not affect sensitivity to oxidative stress. These results suggested that constitutively high expression of HSP27 in KMST-6 cells make them susceptible to oxidative stress resulting in growth arrest, and this mechanism could involve the phosphorylation of HSP27. © 1995 Wiley-Liss, Inc.  相似文献

BackgroundLead exposure results in a terrible rise in heat shock protein levels.ObjectiveThis research was conducted to look at the effects of lead poisoning on heat shock response, oxidative stress, and inflammatory markers in albino rats, as well as the power of selenium and vitamin E to resist lead toxic effects.MethodsEight groups of albino rats are used. Each group contained six rats where the first group represented the negative control, and the other groups were treated with olive oil, vitamin E, selenium, lead, (vitamin E + lead), (selenium + lead), and (vitamin E + selenium + lead). All the treatments lasted for 28 days. Then, the mRNA expression of interested heat shock proteins (HSP90, HSP70, and HSP60) was assessed. For oxidative stress disruption, we investigated nitric oxide (NO) and malondialdehyde (MDA) content, and enzymatic and non-enzymatic antioxidants activity respectively in rat livers.Resultsour results revealed the synergetic protective effect of the combination of two antioxidants (vitamin E and selenium) against lead poising. This was clear in regulating HSPs expression, inflammatory markers, glucose, lipid profile, liver functions, and antioxidant enzymes more than the treatment with one antioxidant.ConclusionPb is a toxic material that can induce HSPs and inflammatory markers expression. Selenium and vitamin E can give excellent effects in ameliorating Pb toxicity when used together.  相似文献

The 100-kDa heat shock protein, HSP100, was purified from mouse lymphoma cells. Amino acid sequences of three peptide fragments which were obtained from the purified protein by lysylendopeptidase digestion were completely or nearly identical with those of a mouse endoplasmic reticulum protein, ERp99, of a hamster glucose-regulated protein, GRP94, and of a chicken heat shock protein, HSP108, all of which have been known to have strong homology with the 90-kDa heat shock protein, HSP90. HSP100 bound to actin filaments and an apparent Kd for the binding was determined to be 8 x 10(-7) M in 2 mM MgCl2 + 100 mM KCl. Calmodulin inhibited the binding in a Ca2+-dependent manner. Equilibrium gel filtration demonstrated that HSP100 has an ability to bind to calmodulin only in the presence of Ca2+. Moreover, HSP100 competed with HSP90 for binding to actin filaments. These results together with our previous findings that HSP90 and HSP100 have similar physicochemical properties (Koyasu, S., Nishida, E., Kadowaki, T., Matsuzaki, F., Iida, K., Harada, F., Kasuga, M., Sakai, H., and Yahara, I. (1986) Proc. Natl. Acad. Sci. U.S.A. 83, 8054-8058) and HSP90 is a calmodulin-regulated actin-binding protein (Nishida, E., Koyasu, S., Sakai, H., and Yahara, I. (1986) J. Biol. Chem. 261, 16033-16036), strongly suggest that HSP100 is structurally and functionally related to HSP90.  相似文献

Heat stress is one of a wide variety of factors causing liver injury, a small heat shock protein (HSP), HSP32, is induced by heat stress in the liver. But the biological function of HSP32 in this injury is unclear. To investigate the underlying role of HSP32, RT-PCR, immunocytochemical staining and ELISA were applied to confirm the expression of HSP32. And the underlying mechanism in the pathogenesis of hepatic dysfunction following hyperthermic challenge and the possible involvement of oxidative stress to induce oxidative deterioration of liver functions in developing mice were investigated in this study. Caspase-3mRNA expression and caspase-3 activity of heated liver were also analysed. The results showed that liver injury caused by chronic heat stress(39 °C, 1.5 h/day for 6 weeks) was reversible, caspase-3mRNA expression and caspase-3 activity of heat treated mice were increased after the first three weeks of heat exposure (P<0.05) and high expression levels of HSP32 were observed throughout the duration of experiment (P<0.01). A strong correlation exists between heat-induced liver injury and the induction of HSP32, which suggested that the reversibility of liver injury is involved in the induction of HSP32 in the hepatic cells under continuing heat stress.  相似文献

A new polyclonal antibody to the humanerythrocyte urea transporter UT-B detects a broad band between 45 and65 kDa in human erythrocytes and between 37 and 51 kDa in raterythrocytes. In human erythrocytes, the UT-B protein is the Kidd (Jk)antigen, and Jk(a+b+) erythrocytes express the 45- to 65-kDa band. However, in Jk null erythrocytes [Jk(ab)], only a faint band at55 kDa is detected. In kidney medulla, a broad band between 41 and 54 kDa, as well as a larger band at 98 kDa, is detected. Human and ratkidney show UT-B staining in nonfenestrated endothelial cells indescending vasa recta. UT-B protein and mRNA are detected in rat brain, colon, heart, liver, lung, and testis. When kidney medulla or liverproteins are analyzed with the use of a native gel, only a singleprotein band is detected. UT-B protein is detected in cultured bovineendothelial cells. We conclude that UT-B protein is expressed in morerat tissues than previously reported, as well as in erythrocytes.

Although gentamicin (GM) has been used widely as an antibiotic, the specific binding protein of the drug has not yet been understood sufficiently. Here we show that GM specifically associates with the 73-kDa molecular chaperone HSP73 and reduces its chaperone activity in vitro. In the present study, we investigated GM-specific binding proteins using a GM-affinity column and porcine kidney cytosol. After washing the column, only the 73-kDa protein was eluted from the column by the addition of 10 mm GM. None of the other proteins were found in the eluant. Upon immunoblotting, the protein was identical to HSP73. Upon CD spectrum analysis, the binding of GM to HSP73 resulted in a conformational change in the protein. Although HSP73 prevents aggregation of unfolded rhodanese in vitro, the chaperone activity of HSP73 was suppressed in the presence of GM. Using limited proteolysis of HSP73 by TPCK-trypsin, the GM binding site is a COOH-terminal for one third of the protein known to be a peptide-binding domain. During immunohistochemistry, HSP73 and GM were co-localized in enlarged lysosomes of rat kidneys with GM-induced acute tubular injury in vivo. Our results suggest that the specific association between HSP73 and GM may reduce the chaperone activity of HSP73 in vitro and/or in vivo, and this may have an interaction with GM toxicity in kidneys with GM-induced acute tubular injury.  相似文献

Proteome analysis of tobacco leaves under salt stress   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2
The mechanisms responsible for the effects of salt stress on tobacco plants were examined by means of proteomic analysis. Tobacco plants were exposed to 0, 150, 250, 300, or 400 mM NaCl. At 150 mM NaCl or above, the plants showed a reduction in fresh weight and an increase in proline levels. Proteins extracted from the leaves of tobacco plants exposed to 150 mM NaCl were separated by 2-DE. Of 205 protein spots that were detected reproducibly in each gel, 18 were differentially expressed under NaCl treatment. Up-regulated proteins belonged to the photosynthesis category, whereas down-regulated proteins correspond to defense-related functions. Dose- and time-dependent studies showed that a stromal 70-kDa heat shock-related protein was markedly down-regulated by NaCl. Thus, down-regulation of the stromal 70-kDa heat shock protein in response to salt stress is likely the cause of failure to protect cells against salt stress of tobacco plants.  相似文献

The current study aimed to test the effect of Moringa oleifera extract (MOE), vitamin (Vit) C, and sodium bicarbonate (NaHCO3) on heat stress (HS)-induced alterations in rabbits. Five groups of rabbits were designed as control, HS, HS?+?MOE, HS?+?Vit C, and HS?+?NaHCO3. HS groups were exposed to high temperatures, while treatments were given in drinking water for 6 weeks. Levels of blood cortisol, leptin, IFN-γ, TNF-α, and IL-10 were assayed using ELISA, while adrenaline was assayed calorimetrically. Expression of HSP70, FOXP3, T cell receptor (TCR) γ, and δ mRNA was tested using real-time (RT)-PCR, while HSP70 protein expression was tested using western blotting in liver and kidney tissues. Infiltration of regulatory T cells (Treg; CD25+) and NK (CD56+) cells were tested using immunohistochemistry (IHC). The levels of liver enzymes (ALT & AST), urea, and creatinine were assayed calorimetrically, while body weight gain (BWG) and feed conversion ratio (FCR) were calculated. The results showed increased levels of cortisol, adrenaline, leptin, IFN-γ, TNF-α, ALT, AST, urea, and creatinine but decreased IL-10 in the HS group. Increased expression of HSP70 on both mRNA and protein levels was associated with increased NK and γδ T cells versus decreased Treg cell infiltration in liver and kidney tissues of the HS group. In the same group, BWG was decreased, while FCR was increased with respect to the control group. All treatments used in this study reversed the effects of HS significantly. In conclusion, MOE, Vit C, and NaHCO3 can be added to rabbit diets for the amelioration of HS-induced symptoms.  相似文献

Heat shock proteins (HSPs) are induced not only under heat stress conditions but also under other environmental stresses such as water stress. In plants, HSPs families are larger than those of other eukaryotes. In order to elucidate a possible connection between HSP expression and photosynthetic acclimation or conditioning, we conducted a water stress experiment in loblolly pine (Pinus taeda L.) seedlings involving progressive treatment consisting of one cycle of mild stress (?1 MPa) followed by two cycles of severe stress (?1.7 MPa). Net photosynthesis was measured at each stress level. Photosynthetic acclimation occurred in the progressive treatment after the first cycle, but not in the severe treatment, suggesting that a cycle of mild stress conditioned the trees to adapt to a more severe stress. Real time results indicated specific patterns in needles in the expression of HSP70, HSP90 and sHSP genes for each treatment, both at maximum stress and at recovery. We identified a pine homolog to GRP94 (ER resident HSP90) that was induced after rehydration coincident with acclimation. Further analysis of the promoter region of the pine GRP94 showed putative cis-elements associated with water stress and rehydration, corresponding to the expression pattern observed in our experiment.  相似文献
