摘要 目的:研究Bi PAP呼吸机无创通气以及氧气驱动雾化吸入联用对慢性阻塞性肺疾病(慢阻肺)合并呼吸衰竭的疗效。方法:选择2016年12月~2018年12月我院的121例慢阻肺合并呼吸衰竭患者,随机分为两组。对照组采用Bi PAP呼吸机无创通气疗法,观察组联合氧气驱动雾化吸入布氨溴索和地奈德混悬液。比较两组的呼吸频率、血气指标和心率;血清肺表面活性相关蛋白D(Pulmonary surfactant related protein,SP-D)以及部活化调节趋化因子(PARC/CCL18)水平、肺功能。结果:观察组的有效率明显高于对照组(P<0.05);治疗后,两组的呼吸频率、血气指标和心率明显改善(P<0.05),且观察组的呼吸频率、血气指标和心率明显优于对照组(P<0.05);治疗后,两组的血清PARC/CCL18 以及SP-D水平均明显降低(P<0.05),且观察组的血清PARC/CCL18 以及SP-D水平明显低于对照组(P<0.05);治疗后,两组的FEV1%、呼吸困难指数以及FEV1/FVC明显改善(P<0.05),且观察组的FEV1%、呼吸困难指数以及FEV1/FVC明显优于对照组(P<0.05)。结论:Bi PAP呼吸机无创通气以及氧气驱动雾化吸入联用能改善慢阻肺合并呼吸衰竭的血气指标、生命体征和肺功能,降低血清 PARC/CCL18 以及SP-D水平。  相似文献

Background

Inhaled nitric oxide (iNO) reduces death or need for extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) in infants with persistent pulmonary hypertension of the newborn (PPHN). However, the response to iNO is variable and only 50–60% of infants demonstrate a response to iNO. It is not known why only some infants respond to iNO. Adults and children with blood groups B or AB do not respond as well to iNO as those with blood groups O/A.

Methods/Principal Findings

To determine if blood group was associated with iNO response in newborn infants, a retrospective medical record review was done of infants admitted to a regional NICU from 2002-9 with a diagnosis of PPHN. Data were collected during the first twelve hours post-initiation of treatment. Of 86 infants diagnosed with PPHN, 23 infants had blood group A [18 received iNO], 21 had group B [18 with iNO], 40 had group O [36 with iNO], and 2 had group AB [both received iNO]. Change in PaO2/FiO2 was less in infants with blood group A, of whom less than half were responders (ΔPaO2/FiO2>20%) at 12 h versus 90% of infants with either O or B. Race, sex, birth weight, gestational age, Apgar scores at 1 and 5 minutes, and baseline PaO2/FiO2 were similar among groups. Outcomes including need for ECMO, death, length of ventilatory support, length of iNO use, and hospital stay were statistically not different by blood groups.

Conclusions/Significance

Our results indicate that blood group influences iNO response in neonates. We hypothesize that either there is genetic linkage of the ABO gene locus with vasoregulatory genes, or that blood group antigens directly affect vascular reactivity.  相似文献

目的:探讨去甲肾上腺素联合多巴酚丁胺治疗感染性休克对患者血流动力学、血乳酸及肌酐清除率(CCr)、滤过水排泄分数(FEH_2O)、滤过钠排泄分数(FENa)的影响。方法:研究对象选自我院2013年1月~2016年12月收治的120例感染性休克患者,采取随机数字表将其分成两组,每组60例。两组患者均采用多巴酚丁胺治疗,观察组在此基础上联合采用去甲肾上腺素治疗,对照组给予多巴胺治疗,对比两组临床疗效以及治疗前后血流动力学指标、血乳酸、CCr、FEH_2O、FENa水平的变化。结果:两组治疗后6、12、24、48 h血乳酸、FENa水平逐渐下降,且均明显低于治疗前;CCr、FEH_2O水平逐渐升高,且均明显高于治疗前(P0.01)。观察组治疗后6、12、24、48 h血乳酸、FENa水平均显著低于对照组同时点(P0.01),FEH_2O水平显著高于对照组同时点(P0.01)。两组治疗后6、12、24、48 h MAP、SVRI均较治疗前显著升高,治疗后24、48 h CI较治疗前显著升高(P0.01),观察组治疗后6、12、24、48 h MAP较治疗前显著降低(P0.01),对照组治疗后6、12 h MAP较治疗前显著升高(P0.01),观察组治疗后6、12、24、48 h HR显著低于对照组,SVRI显著高于对照组(P0.01)。观察组治疗28 d病死率为18.33%,对照组为35.00%,观察组病死率明显低于对照组(P0.05)。结论:去甲肾上腺素联合多巴酚丁胺治疗感染性休克可有效改善患者的血流动力学,降低血乳酸水平,改善肾脏灌注和患者预后。  相似文献

Stability constants of lanthanide complexes with 1,4,7,10,13,16-hexaazacyclooctadecane (A618C6) in aqueous 0.1 M NaC1 medium have been determined at 20 °C by an out-of-cell potentiometric titration method. Lanthanide complexes with A618C6 are more stable than those of the macrocyclic polyethers and bicyclic cryptands. No appreciable metal ion specificity is observed, but with increasing atomic number of the lanthanides, the stability increases similarly to that observed for diazapolyoxa-macrocycles. The unusually high stability of the lanthanide A618C6 complexes is discussed in terms of the formation of partial bonds between the lanthanide ion and nitrogen donors and the inertness of the Ln-hexaaza-18-membered system.  相似文献

SYNOPSIS. Death rates of A/J and CF1 female mice 4 weeks and 6 months of age were compared after the mice were infected with Plasmodium berghei NK65C deme (population) and NK65RR deme. Death rates were compared also when female A/J retired breeder mice were infected with blood passages 18 and 40 of NK65C. NK65C was found to be less virulent than NK65RR. The 40th blood passage of NK65C was more virulent than the 18th passage, but still not as virulent at the NK65RR deme. A/J retired breeders were clearly more resistant to infection than 4 week old A/J mice, while little difference was found in the different age groups of the CF1 mice.  相似文献

The combining site of the Bauhinia purpurea alba lectin was studied by quantitative precipitin and precipitin inhibition assays. Of 45 blood group substances, glycoproteins, and polysaccharides tested, 35 precipitated over 75% of the lectin. Precursor blood group substances with I activity (Cyst OG 10% from 20% and Cyst OG 20% from 10%), desialized fetuin, and desialized ovine salivary glycoprotein, in which more than 75% of the carbohydrate side chains have dGalN Ac linked through α1 → to the OH group of Ser or Thr of a protein core, completely precipitated the lectin. The poorly reactive blood group substances after mild acid hydrolysis or Smith degradation, as well as sialic acid-containing glycoproteins after removal of sialic acid, had substantially increased activity so that more than 80% of the lectin was precipitated. Precipitability with various blood group substances and glycoproteins is ascribable to the terminal nonreducing dGalNAc, dGalβ1 → 3dGalNAc, dGalβ1 → 3 or 4dGlcNAc, and dGalβ1 → 3 or 4dGlcNAcβ1 → 3dGal determinants on the carbohydrate moiety. Of the monosaccharides tested for inhibition of precipitation, dGalNAc and its p-nitrophenyl and methyl α-glycosides were best. These compounds were four to five times better than the corresponding dGal compounds but methyl βDGalNAcp was only about 40% more active than methyl βdGalp. The α-anomers of p-nitrophenyl DGalNAcp and dGalp, were twice as active as the corresponding β-anomers. Methyl αDGalNAcp was four times as active as the β-anomer but the inhibitory power of the methyl α- and β-anomers of dGal were about equal. Among the oligosaccharides tested, dGalβ1 → 3dGalNAc and its tosyl derivatives were most active, the tosyl glycosides being about twice as active as dGalβ1 → 3dGalNAc, which was somewhat more active than dGalNAcα1 → 6dGal and dGalNAc, and 2.5 and 5 times as active as dGalNAcα1 → 3dGalβ1 → 3dGlcNAc and dGalNAcαl → 3dGa1, respectively (blood group A specific). These findings suggest that a subterminal dGalNAc β-linked and substituted on carbon 3 plays an important role in binding. Consistent with this inference are the findings that dGalβ1 → 3dGlcNAc and dGalβ1 → 6dGal were poorer inhibitors although dGalβ1 → 3dGlcNAc was two to three times as active as glycosides of dGal. Oligosaccharides with terminal nonreducing dGal and subterminal α-linked dGal were as active or less active than dGal. dGalβ1 → 3dGlcNAcβ1 → 3dGalβ1 → 4dGlc (lacto-N-tetraose) and dGalβ1 → 3dGlcNAcβ1 → 3dGal-β1-O-(CH2)8COOCH3 were equally active and 1.5 times as potent as dGalβ1 → 3dGlcNAc whereas dGalβ1 → 3dGlcNAcβ1 → 6dGal was only 40% as potent as dGalβ1 → 3dGlcNAc suggesting that a third sugar may be part of the determinant. Substitution of dGalβ1 → 3dGlcNAcβ1 → 3dGalβ1 → 4dGlc on the subterminal dGlcNAc by lFucα1 → 4 in lacto-N-fucopentaose II reduced activity fourfold; if the nonreducing dGal is substituted by lFucα1 → 3 as in lacto-N-fucopentaose I its activity is almost completely abolished. This suggests that a terminal nonreducing dGal as well as subterminal dGlcNAc are contributing to binding. The β → 3 linkage of the terminal dGal to the subterminal amino sugar is significant since dGalβ1 → 4dGlcNAc is a poorer inhibitor. Although the available data suggest that the combining site of the lectin Bauhinia purpurea alba may be most complementary to the structure dGalβ1 → 3dGalNAcβ1 → 3dGal, several other possibilities remain to be tested when suitable oligosaccharides become available.  相似文献

摘要 目的:探究6分钟步行试验(6-minute walk test,6MWT)在评价老年肺结核患者病情中的应用,并分析6MWT同肺结核患者血气指标的相关性。方法:选择2019年1月至2019年12月于我院接受治疗的200例高龄肺结核患者为实验组,另选取同期于我院接受体格检查的50例健康个体为对照组,分别对两组患者实施6MWT实验,测量两组个体的步行距离、实验前后血氧饱和度(SpO2),计算SpO2下降率,并对所有实验组患者实施肺功能实验,评估肺功能相关指标同6MWT相关性。结果:(1)对比显示实验组患者的6MWT、SpO2、PaO2明显低于对照组,PaCO2高于对照组(P<0.05);(2)实验前后比较显示实验组患者试验后的SpO2、PaO2低于实验前,PaCO2高于实验前(P<0.05);(3)相关性分析显示,实验组患者的6MWT同FEV1、FEV1/FVC呈正相关(P<0.05);(4)相关性分析显示实验组患者的6MWT同SpO2、PaO2呈正相关,同PaCO2呈负相关(P<0.05)。结论:6MWT同高龄肺结核患者肺功能及血气相关指标存在明显的相关性,可将6MWT作为老年肺结核患者病情评估指标之一。  相似文献

Obesity is a chronic condition that is prevalent in black women. The Obesity Reduction Black Intervention Trial (ORBIT) was a randomized controlled weight loss and weight‐loss maintenance (WLM) trial. Participants (N = 213) were randomized to the intervention or control groups in August 2005 and September 2006. Follow‐up data were collected 6 and 18 months after randomization. The main outcome was change in weight and BMI from baseline to 18 months. The mean weight at baseline was 104.9 kg, and the mean weight loss in the intervention group at 6 months was 3.0 kg and a gain of 0.2 kg in the control group (mean difference between groups in weight change at 6 months, adjusting for baseline weight and cohort, ?3.27 kg; 95% confidence interval (CI), ?4.50 to ?2.05 kg; P < 0.001). Both groups gained weight between 6 and 18 months (mean 1.0 kg in the intervention group and 0.1 kg in the control group). However, intervention participants lost significantly more weight than control participants during the 18‐month intervention (adjusted mean difference between groups at 18 months, ?2.83 kg; 95% CI, ?4.71 to ?0.95; P = 0.003). At 18 months, intervention participants were more likely than control participants to have lost at least 5% of baseline weight (24% vs. 12%, P < 0.04). Our results indicate that the ORBIT program did promote weight loss and weight‐loss maintenance. However, the results also clearly illustrate there is more to learn about what will contribute to meaningful weight loss and maintenance in this population.  相似文献

In a recent classification of biologically active amphipathic α-helixes, the lipid-associating domains in exchangeable plasma apolipoproteins have been classified as class A amphipathic helixes (Segrest, J. P., De Loof, H., Dohlman, J. G., Brouillette, C. G., Anantharamaiah, G. M. Proteins 8:103–117, 1990). A model peptide analog with the sequence, Asp Trp Leu Lys Ala Phe Tyr Asp Lys Val Ala Glu Lys Leu Lys Glu Ala Phe (18A), possesses the characteristics of a class A amphipathic helix. The addition of an acetyl group at the α-amino terminus and an amide at the α-carboxyl terminus, to obtain Ac-18A-NH2, produces large increases in helicity for the peptide both in solution and when associated with lipid (for 18A vs Ac-18A-NH2, from 6 to 38% helix in buffer and from 49 to 92% helix when bound to dimyristoyl phosphatidylcholine in discoidal complexes). Blocking of the end-groups of 18A stabilizes the α-helix in the presence of lipid by approximately 1.3 kcal/mol. There is also an increase in the self-association of the blocked peptide in aqueous solution. The free energy of binding to the PC–water interface is increased only by about 3% (from ?8.0 kcal/mol for 18A to ?8.3 kcal/mol for Ac-18A-NH2). The Ac-18A-NH2 has a much greater potency in raising the bilayer to hexagonal phase transition temperature of dipalmitoleoyl phosphatidylethanolamine than does 18A. In this regard Ac-18A-NH2 more closely resembles the behavior of the apolipoprotein A-I, which is the major protein component of high-density lipoprotein and a potent inhibitor of lipid hexagonal phase formation. The activation of the plasma enzyme lecithin: cholesterol acyltransferase by the Ac-18A-NH2 peptide is greater than the 18A analog and comparable to that observed with the apo A-I. In the case of Ac-18A-NH2, the higher activating potency may be due, at least in part, to the ability of the peptide to micellize egg PC vesicles. © 1993 Wiley-Liss, Inc.  相似文献

Research on the biosynthesis of abscisic acid (ABA) has focused primarily on two pathways: (a) the direct pathway from farnesyl pyrophosphate, and (b) the indirect pathway involving a carotenoid precursor. We have investigated which biosynthetic pathway is operating in turgid and stressed Xanthium leaves, and in stressed Xanthium roots using long-term incubations in 18O2. It was found that in stressed leaves three atoms of 18O from 18O2 are incorporated into the ABA molecule, and that the amount of 18O incorporated increases with time. One 18O atom is incorporated rapidly into the carboxyl group of ABA, whereas the other two atoms are very slowly incorporated into the ring oxygens. The fourth oxygen atom in the carboxyl group of ABA is derived from water. ABA from stressed roots of Xanthium incubated in 18O2 shows a labeling pattern similar to that of ABA in stressed leaves, but with incorporation of more 18O into the tertiary hydroxyl group at C-1′ after 6 and 12 hours than found in ABA from stressed leaves. It is proposed that the precursors to stress-induced ABA are xanthophylls, and that a xanthophyll lacking an oxygen function at C-6 (carotenoid numbering scheme) plays a crucial role in ABA biosynthesis in Xanthium roots. In turgid Xanthium leaves, 18O is incorporated into ABA to a much lesser extent than it is in stressed leaves, whereas exogenously applied 14C-ABA is completely catabolized within 48 hours. This suggests that ABA in turgid leaves is either (a) made via a biosynthetic pathway which is different from the one in stressed leaves, or (b) has a half-life on the order of days as compared with a half-life of 15.5 hours in water-stressed Xanthium leaves. Phaseic acid showed a labeling pattern similar to that of ABA, but with an additional 18O incorporated during 8′-hydroxylation of ABA to phaseic acid.  相似文献

Isolated reproductive tracts from gilts on the days of luteal regression (13–17 day of estrous cycle), pregnant gilts (14–18 days of pregnancy) and estrogen-induced pseudopregnant gilts (15–18 day of estrous cycle) were supplied with autologous, oxygenated blood. 3H-PGF (108 dpm) was infused at a constant rate into three different sites of the most superficial layer of the myometrium along the length of the horn close to the broad ligament. During infusion (60 min) and 60 min after the infusion had been stopped, arterial blood was collected continuously in 5-min samples from a small branch of the uterine artery in the mesometrium area about 10 cm from the uterine horn. A significantly higher concentration of 3H-PGF in the uterine-artery blood plasma was found in pseudopregnant and pregnant gilts than in the control group. The total 3H-PGF back transfer with arterial blood from the broad ligament vasculature into the uterus was 2.4 × 106 dpm, 6.0 × 106 dpm and 19.8 × 106 dpm of infused 3H-PGF in the control, pregnant and pseudopregnant gilts, respectively. We suggest that ability for PGF binding and back transfer from the broad ligament vasculature into the uterus, as observed in pseudopregnant and pregnant gilts, may strongly reduce the peak concentration during the pulsatile release of PGF from the uterus and may protect the corpus luteum against luteolysis.  相似文献

Trienoic fatty acids (FAs) have been found to be the dominant group of unsaturated fatty acids in the composition of phospholipids (PLs) from Larix sibirica Ledeb., whereas dienoic FAs have been established to prevail in PLs from Picea obovata L. and Pinus sylvestris L. Bud swelling in spring is accompanied by a decrease in the content of unsaturated FAs by approximately 30%. The analysis of the change in the content of individual C18 FAs in the PL structure upon the transition of the tree from winter dormancy to vegetation has revealed the important functional role of acyl-lipid ω6 desaturase, which is responsible for the synthesis of linoleic acid (C18: 2), in the formation of the cryoprotected state of meristem cell membranes of Larix sibirica Ledeb., Picea obovata L., and Pinus sylvestris L. In addition, the particular significance of acyl-lipid ω3 desaturase for the cryoadaptation of meristem cells in Larix sibirica Ledeb., as it catalyzes the transformation of linoleic acid (C18: 2) to linolenic acid (C18: 3) in PLs of larch 1.5–3 times more intensively than in the case of spruce and pine, is shown.  相似文献

目的:探讨血乳酸和心肌酶变化在胎儿宫内窘迫新生儿中的临床意义。方法:选取2017年3月到2018年8月期间在我院出生的胎儿宫内窘迫新生儿120例,其中有55例出生后未出现窒息,将其纳入观察1组,另外65例新生儿出生后出现窒息则纳入观察2组,同时选取同期在我院出生的健康、足月新生儿60例作为对照组。比较三组新生儿的血乳酸、乳酸脱氢酶(LDH)、肌酸激酶(CK)、肌酸激酶同工酶MB(CKMB)、血氧分压(PaO_2)、二氧化碳分压(PaCO_2)的水平,并分析血乳酸与心肌酶、PaO_2、PaCO_2的相关性。结果:出生时、出生后5d,观察2组的血乳酸、LDH、CK、CKMB水平均高于观察1组和对照组,且观察1组的血乳酸、LDH、CK、CKMB水平均高于对照组,差异均有统计学意义(P0.05)。出生时,观察2组的PaO_2水平低于观察1组和对照组,PaCO_2水平高于观察1组和对照组,差异均有统计学意义(P0.05),观察1组的PaO_2水平低于对照组,PaCO_2水平高于对照组,差异均有统计学意义(P0.05)。Pearson相关性分析结果显示,胎儿宫内窘迫新生儿血乳酸水平与CK、CKMB、PaCO_2呈正相关,与PaO_2呈负相关(P0.05),与LDH无明显的相关性(P0.05);LDH、CK、CKMB与PaCO_2呈正相关,与PaO_2呈负相关(P0.05)。结论:胎儿宫内窘迫新生儿血乳酸和心肌酶水平明显升高,且出生后存在窒息的新生儿中更为明显,胎儿宫内窘迫新生儿血乳酸、心肌酶水平与缺氧程度密切相关。  相似文献

摘要 目的:探讨继发性肺结核伴呼吸衰竭患者肺功能与血气指标的相关性。方法:2018年3月到2020年1月选择在本院诊治的继发性肺结核患者122例,所有患者都给予肺功能与血气指标检测,并进行相关性分析。结果:122例患者根据合并呼吸衰竭情况分为呼吸衰竭组(n=48)与非呼吸衰竭组(n=74)。呼吸衰竭组的用力肺活量(Forced vital capacity,FVC)、第一秒用力肺活量(forced expiratory volume in one second,FEV1)、FEV1/FVC、MMEF、MEF50、MEF25值都显著低于非呼吸衰竭组(P<0.05);呼吸衰竭组的PaO2与Hb值显著低于非呼吸衰竭组(P<0.05),两组PaCO2、pH值对比差异无统计学意义(P>0.05);呼吸衰竭组的低氧血症、高血红蛋白血症等发生率显著高于非呼吸衰竭组(P<0.05),两组高碳酸血症发生率对比差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。在呼吸衰竭组中,Spearman 相关性检验分析显示FVC、FEV1、FEV1/FVC、MMEF、MEF50、MEF25与PaO2、Hb存在相关性(P<0.05)。结论:继发性肺结核伴呼吸衰竭患者在临床上比较常见,多伴随有肺功能下降与血气指标异常,呼吸衰竭患者的肺功能与血气指标存在相关性。  相似文献

摘要 目的:探讨弹力带抗阻训练联合七步法运动康复对冠心病患者血脂、心肺适能及运动能力的影响。方法:选取2018年2月~2020年4月期间呼和浩特市蒙医中医医院收治的113例冠心病患者,分组方法采用随机数字表法,分为研究组57例和对照组56例,对照组给予常规运动康复干预,研究组在对照组的基础上采取弹力带抗阻训练联合七步法运动康复干预,对比两组血脂、日常生活能力、心功能、心肺适能及运动能力。结果:干预6个月后,研究组左室射血分数(LVEF)高于对照组,左室舒张末径(LVEDD)以及左室收缩末内径(LVESD)低于对照组(P<0.05)。干预6个月后,研究组改良Barthel量表(MBI)评分、6 min步行试验(6MWT)距离高于对照组(P<0.05)。干预6个月后,研究组高密度脂蛋白(HDL)高于对照组,总胆固醇(TC)、三酰甘油(TG)、低密度脂蛋白(LDL)低于对照组(P<0.05)。干预6个月后,研究组峰值公斤摄氧量(VO2/kg peak )、无氧阈、峰值氧脉搏升高,且高于对照组(P<0.05)。干预6个月后,研究组峰值功率(WR peak )、峰值代谢当量(MET peak )升高,且高于对照组(P<0.05)。结论:弹力带抗阻训练联合七步法运动康复可促进患者心功能、血脂状况改善,提高其心肺适能、运动能力及日常生活能力。  相似文献

Background

This study was performed to investigate the correlation between CT perfusion with acetazolamide challenge and angiogenesis in C6 gliomas.

Methods

Thirty-two male Sprague-Dawley rats were evaluated. The rats were divided randomly to four groups: eight rats with orthotopically implanted C6 gliomas at 10-days old (Group A), eight rats with gliomas at 14-days old (Group B), eight rats with gliomas at 18-days old (Group C), eight rats with orthotopically injected normal saline served as controls. CT perfusion was performed before and after administration of acetazolamide. Changes in perfusion parameters due to acetazolamide administration were calculated and analyzed.

Results

Elevated carbon dioxide partial pressure and decreased pH were found in all 32 rats post acetazolamide challenge (P<0.01). Cerebral blood flowpre-challenge was increased in group C (95.0±2.5 ml/100g/min), as compared to group B (80.1±11.3 ml/100g/min) and group A (63.1±2.1 ml/100g/min). Cerebral blood flow percentage changes were detected with a reduction in group C (54.2±4.8%) as compared to controls (111.3±22.2%). Cerebral blood volume pre-challenge was increased in group C (50.8±1.7ml/100g), as compared to group B (45.7±1.9 ml/100g) and group A (38.2±0.8 ml/100g). Cerebral blood volume percentage changes were decreased in group C (23.5±4.6%) as compared to controls (113.5±30.4%). Angiogenesis ratio = [(CD105-MVD) / (FVIII-MVD)] ×100%. Positive correlations were observed between CD105-microvessel density, angiogenesis ratio, vascular endothelial growth factor, proliferation marker and cerebral blood flowpre-challenge, cerebral blood volume pre-challenge. Negative correlations were observed between CD105-microvessel density and cerebral blood flow percentage changes (P<0.01, correlation coefficient r=-0.788), cerebral blood volume percentage changes (P<0.01, r=-0.703). Negative correlations were observed between angiogenesis ratio, vascular endothelial growth factor, proliferation marker and cerebral blood flow percentage changes, cerebral blood volume percentage changes.

Conclusion

Our findings suggest that CT perfusion with challenge can provide new insight into non-invasive assessment of rat C6 glioma angiogenesis.  相似文献

In the conventional view, the winter adaptation of membrane lipids is induced by temperature decrease. We propose that winter remodelling of membranes in Pyrrhocoris apterus is triggered by short-day photoperiod before the temperature decrease and changes caused by cold temperature represent the later phase of adaptation. The induction of diapause by short-day photoperiod results in an accumulation of phosphatidylethanolamine (PE) molecular species with C16:0/C18:2 acyl chains esterified to sn-1/sn-2 positions of glycerol at the expense of C18:0/C18:2. Proportions of C16:0/C18:2-PE are enhanced in short-day compared to long-day insects in both thoracic muscles (TM, 15.0 vs. 8.2%) and fat bodies (FB, 24.9 vs. 13.6 %). Proportions of C16:0/C18:2-PE are further enhanced during cold acclimation (to 26.5% in TM, 33.6 % in FB) at the expense of a more saturated species, C18:0/C18:1-PE. These changes are less prominent in phosphatidylcholines (PC). The effect of photoperiod seems to be mediated via the corpus allatum. Long-day non-diapause females deprived of their corpus allatum have the phospholipid molecular species profile similar to that found in short-day diapausing females. While the acyl chain remodelling is regulated by both photoperiod and temperature, the head group composition is regulated by temperature only. Similar to most other organisms, the level of PE is higher (50.3 vs. 43.5% in TM, 44.3 vs. 37.8% in FB) and that of PC is lower (35.9 vs. 40.2% in TM, 41.6 vs. 46.1 % in FB) at cold temperatures (≤1°C) compared to warm temperatures (≥16°C). In contrast to a general rule, the PE is less unsaturated than PC. In both TM and FB, proportions of unsaturated/unsaturated molecular species are consistently high in PC (56.3-67.5% in TM, 59.2-66.6% in FB), while they are consistently low in PE (19.1-26.7% in TM, 12.1-15.1% in FB). An adaptive significance of changes in the phospholipid composition for the low temperature and/or dehydration stress is discussed in relation to known physical properties of phospholipids.  相似文献

The methylated nucleotide sequences in HeLa cell ribosomal RNA and its nucleolar precursors were examined by RNA fingerprinting and sequencing methods. 18 S RNA was found to contain approximately 46 methyl groups, 28 S RNA some 70 methyl groups and 5.8 S RNA one methyl group. Most methyl groups occur in different T1 ribonuclease oligonucleotides, and most of these were recovered approximately once per molecule of 18 S or 28 S RNA. There are also, however, several multiply methylated oligonucleotides, a few short products that occur more than once and a few “fractional” products. The great majority of methylations occur at the level of 45 S RNA, but six further methylations occur late during the maturation of 18 S RNA, and one fractional one occurs during 28 S maturation. The transcribed spacer regions of the precursor molecules are unmethylated. Chemical analysis of the methylated components and sequences indicates that all except five “early” methylations are on ribose groups, the remaining five being on bases within the 28 S sequence. The late methylations are all on bases, four of those on 18 S RNA giving rise to the sequence, … Gpm2post6Apm2post6ApCp… The product, pCmpUp, previously reported by Choi &; Busch (1970) as being the 5′ end-group of rat hepatoma 28 S, 32 S and 45 S RNA, is not present in HeLa cell 28 S RNA or its precursors. Observations are reported on the composition of the blood of a tropical, cave-dwelling bat, Otomops martiensseni. The most remarkable feature of the blood was the very high numbers of erythrocytes, with mean values of 14–42 times 106 and 12–46 times 106 cells per mm3 of blood, for female and male bats respectively. The red cells were spherical, biconcave discs with a mean diameter of 5-3 um, a mean thickness of 1–8 urn and a mean volume of 40-7 μm3. High haemoglobin values were obtained, with means of 20–70 and 18-15 g per 100 ml of blood, for female and male bats respectively. The leucocyte count varied from 1360 to 5200 cells per mm3 of blood and was rather lower than in other mammals. Electrophoresis of serum gave six protein fractions which were identified as albumin and α1α2, β1β2 and γ globulins.  相似文献
