7-Oxo-, 7α-hydroxy- and 7β-hydroxysterols from Euphorbia fischeriana

7-Oxo, 7α-hydroxy- and 7β-hydroxysterols (campesterol, stigmasterol and sitosterol derivatives) were isolated from the roots of Euphorbia fischeriana, a drug used for its antitumour properties in traditional Chinese medicine. Some of these steroids show antitumour activity and might be related to the presumed activity of the drug.     

Chromosome 7 short arm deletion, 7p21→pter

Summary A case report of a de novo deletion in the short arm of chromosome 7 is presented (46,XX,del(7)(p21pter)). The five-month-old girl's major symptoms are: trigonocephalus with craniosynostosis, median bony forehead bulge, high palate, atrial septal defect, anal atresia and perineal fistula, thumb insertion far to ulnar-proximal, and a slightly retarded psychomotor development. The other cases with monosomy 7p described in the literature are reviewed.

TRAF7的研究进展

TRAFs家族是一类多功能蛋白,最初是作为TNFR介导的信号通路中的转导分子而被发现的。TRAFs作为信号接头蛋白和调节分子,参与了TNFR、TLRs、NLRs和RLRs等多种受体介导的信号通路。TRAF7是最新发现的TRAF家族成员,因其保守的RING结构域,而具有E3泛素连接酶活性。此外,TRAF7还以其独特机制参与了MAP激酶、TNFR及TLR2介导的信号通路的转导,以及细胞应激、分化和凋亡等重要生理过程的调控,与乳腺癌、脑膜瘤等多种疾病的发生密切相关。结合最新研究进展对TRAF7的结构、功能及其参与的生物学过程进行综述。     

Male-specific transplantation antigen expression by XY teratocarcinomas PCC7 and 7′

Male-specific antigen expression by XY teratocarcinomas PCC7 and 7 is demonstrated first by the rejection of tumors by female but not by male mice following challenge with these cell lines. Male-specific antigen expression is confirmed by an indirect method in which females are immunized against H-Y antigen by male skin grafts. A variant of PCC7 lacking male-specific antigen expression is described. Analysis of the karyotype and of the DNA from this variant indicate that the loss of male-specific antigen expression is a result of the loss of the Y chromosome. The ability to recover variants that have lost expression of male-specific antigen opens the possibility of their selection after mutagenesis.Aspects of this work have been presented at the 10th Cold Spring Harbor Conference on Cell Proliferation, September 1982     

腺病毒7d基因型与7b基因型全基因组比较分析

为了解重庆地区流行的7型腺病毒(Human adenovirus 7,HAdV-7)基因型型别,从全基因组水平探讨HAdV-7b和HAdV-7d可能的致病性差异,收集儿童急性下呼吸道感染患儿的呼吸道分泌物标本分离培养,提取DNA后进行HAdV-7基因型别鉴定、限制性酶切分析和全基因组测序,再利用MEGA6比较分析。本研究在2009年6月~2013年1月间共收集4334份急性下呼吸道感染患儿的鼻咽抽吸物标本,随机选取2411份进行病毒分离培养,共有164份(164/2411,6.8%)鼻咽抽吸物HAdV阳性,其中HAdV-7 87例。限制性酶切分析显示,随机挑选的3株HAdV-7分离株均为HAdV-7d。CQ1198株行全基因组测序并与其他HAdV-7全基因组构建进化树,结果发现16株中国地区的HAdV-7为HAdV-7d基因型,且上述16株HAdV-7与7d2的同源性为99.9%,与7b的同源性为98.2%。相较于ak40株(HAdV-7b),CQ1198共有49处核苷酸替换,其中20处可导致非同义替换;4处核苷酸插入,其中24bp和18bp 2个片段插入分别位于病毒相关RNAⅡ(Virus-associated RNAⅡ,VA RNAⅡ)和L3的pⅥ区域。HAdV-7可有多个基因型致病,且一直处于进化过程中,其主要流行基因型由HAdV-7b变为HAdV-7d。应加强对HAdV分子流行病学监测,明确其进化规律,为HAdV疫苗研发提供分子流行病学依据。

Krüppel样因子7(KLF7)生物学功能研究进展

Krüppel样因子7(Krüppel-like factor 7,KLF7)是Sp1样或Krüppel样转录因子家族(specificity protein/Krüppel-like factor,SP/KLF)成员,在多种生物学过程中发挥重要作用,该基因完全敲除小鼠出生时大部分死亡.KLF7是肥胖症、Ⅱ型糖尿病、心血管疾病、癌症、面部发育异常、氧化磷酸化缺陷和Ⅰ型自身免疫性胰腺炎等疾病的相关基因.功能分析显示,KLF7是神经系统发育和脂肪形成的关键因子,同时也在肌肉再生和造血作用中发挥功能.在SP/KLF家族中,KLF7研究相对较少,大部分作用机制尚不清楚.本文从结构和功能方面详述了KLF7的最新研究进展,为其和KLFs家族深入研究提供重要的科学依据.
