NEW COREIDAE FROM CHINA (HEMIPTERA, HETEROPTERA) Ⅲ.

Seventeen genera and twenty species of Coreidae are reported from China in thepresent paper, four species belonging to the subfamily Pseudophloeinae, six to Rhopalinaeand ten to Alydinae. Among them eight species are recorded for the first time from thiscountry, while all the remaining are described as new species. Four new genera are alsodescribed. The new genera and new species are briefly characterized below.

Cytological study on the genus Syncalathium （Asteraceae-Lactuceae）, an endemic taxon to alpine scree of the Sino-Himalayas

Cytological characters of four species in Syncalathium （Asteraceae： Lactuceae）, a small genus with six identified species endemic to alpine scree of the Sino-Himalayan region, are surveyed in this report. Three species （Syncalathiumpilosum, Syncalathium chrysocephalum, and Syncalathium disciforme） are examined for the first time. Combined with our previous counts, five species have been cytologically investigated from the genus and the results indicated that all species are diploid with the basic somatic chromosome number of x=8. The karyotype asymmetry of Syncalathium souliei is 2A, distinct from the other four species of 1A, and the remaining species are divided into two subgroups with different karyotypes, consistent with their morphological features. The significance of the cytological evolution of Syncalathium is briefly discussed.     

SOME NEW SPECIES OF RHOPALOCERA IN CHINA,Ⅱ.

In the present paper, six new species and fourteen new subspecies of Chinese butter-flies belonging to 6 families and 16 genera are described. The butterflies here dealt with were collected by Chinese and Soviet entomologistsduring their joint expeditions to Southwest China (chiefly in S. and S.-W. Yunnan) in theyears 1955--1957. The characteristics of new species and subspecies are given as follows:     

New Species of Meconopsis(Papaveraceae) from Laojun Shan and Yao Shan,Northern Yunnan,China

Two new species,Meconopsis muscicola and M.yaoshanensis(Papaveraceae),are described and characterized.Differences separating them from similar species are discussed and photos showing their diagnostic features are provided.     

REPORT ON 12 SPECIES AND VARIETIES OF CHIGGERS IN CHINA, INCLUDING SIX NEW SPECIES AND TWO NEW VARIETIES, AND THE CREATION OF A NEW GENUS

The present paper reports in detail 12 species and varieties of trombiculid mites. Of these eight are believed to be new to science. Besides, a new genus is also created to accommodate certain species which are incompatible with other species originally found in the same genus. The 12 species and varieties are distributed in three subfamilies, and their names are as follows:     

STUDIES ON CHINESE PLUSIINAE (LEPIDOPTERA: NOCTUIDAE)

The present paper lists 36 species and describes the male and female genitaliaof 18 species of Plusiinae from China. Among them 2 genera and 6 species are newto science, and 3 species are in new combinations. Chrysodeixis omeiensis Chou et Lu sp. nov. Male genitalia: Uneus 1 mm. Valvae slender and long, 2.7 mm. Ampulla 0.6 mm.

A new species and two new Chinese records in the genus Ulocladium from soil are reported. New species is Ulocladium leve, and the new records are U. alternariae and U. consortiale. Latin diagnosis of the new species is presented. Holotype specimen （dried culture） of the new species and dried cultures of two new records are deposited in the Herbarium of Shandong Agricultural University： Plant Pathology （HSAUP）.     

THE COPEPODA OF THE WU-L1 LAKE, WU-SIH, KIANGSU PROVINCE. Ⅱ. CYCLOPOIDA

This is the second part of a series of papers dealing with the Copepoda-fauna of theWu-Li Lake, Wu-Sih, Kiangsu Province, China. NOVAJ SPECIOJ KAJ NOVA REKORDO DE UROSTYLIDAE EL CINIO NEW SPECIES AND NEW RECORD OF UROSTYLIDAE FROM CHINA( Hemiptera:Heteroptera)

Three ganera and five species of Urostylidae are reported from China inthe present paper, three species belonging to the genus Urolabida, one toUrochela and one to Urochellus. Among them, a species is recorded for thefirst time from this country, while all the ramaining are described as new toscience. The type species are separately deposited in the Institute of Zoology,Academia Sinica and the Department of Biology, Nankai University. All themeasurements are in millimeters.     

珍稀植物景东报春的地理分布和生态生物学特性

Primula interjacens Chen, an endemic and rare species to China, is restrictively distributed in Mt. Wuliangshan of Yunnan Province. Only three populations are found. The species has been fallen into endangered condition. Its present state of distribution, biological and ecological characteristics are investigated. In addition, the factors causing this species endangered and conservation strategies are analyzed briefly.     

A SURVEY OF THE HOLARCTIC LINYPHIIDAE （ARANEAE）, OF THE ERIGONINE GENUS ZORNELLA JACKSON, 1932

The Holarctic erigonid genus Zornella has been surveyed. Four spedes are recognized in this genus, two Palaearctic： Z. aultrigera （L. Koch, 11879） ＆ Z. orientalis sp. nov., and two Nearcfic： Z. arrnata （Banks, 1906） ＆ Z. ayptodon Chamherlin, 1920. It is demouslrated that neither nearcfic species is agnspedtic with Z. atltrigera as was thought by Holm and other authors. Z. sp. nov. is describcd from northeastern Siberia. All of the species are illustrated and their distributions mapped.     

RESULTS OF THE ZOOLOGICO-BOTANICAL EXPEDITION OF ACADEMIA SINICA AND ACADEMY OF SCIENCES USSR TO SOUTHWEST CHINA 1955--1957(COLEOPTERA, LANGURIIDAE)

The Languriid beetles here dealt with were collected by Chinese and Soviet entomolo-gists during their co-operative expeditions to Yunnan in the years 1955---1957 and to Sze-chuan in 1955. The collection contains 35 species of which 6 are new to science and 9were hitherto unknown from China. The new species are characterized as follows:Tetralanguria apicata, n. sp. (fig. 1)
