Revision of the Neotropical Genus Hemibidessus Zimmermann (Coleoptera: Dytiscidae: Hydroporinae: Bidessini)

The genus Hemibidessus Zimmermann, 1921 is revised. Six species are recognized in the genus. Two new species are described, H. spirodiscus sp. n. from Bolivia and H. spangleri sp. n. from Argentina. A key for identifying the species is presented. The female genitalia are thoroughly illustrated and described for the first time for any species of Bidessini. Other important diagnostic structures are also illustrated including the male genitalia. A cladistic analysis is presented for 8 species (6 ingroup and 2 outgroup species) and 13 characters. A single most parsimonious cladogram was found.     

Clypeodytes geiseri sp. n., an enigmatic Bidessini from Laos (Coleoptera: Dytiscidae,Bidessini)

Here, we describe Clypeodytes geiseri sp. n. from Champasak Province in southwestern Laos. This very distinct species belongs to the subgenus Hypoclypeus Guignot, 1950 and can be distinguished from all other Clypeodytes species by its larger size and almost completely blackish or dark ferrugineous dorsal surface, except for some weak testaceous markings on the elytra. The habitus and the median lobe of the new species are illustrated, and a map is provided. Altogether, six species of subgenus Hypoclypeus are now known from Asia.

Predaceous diving beetles (Coleoptera: Dytiscidae) of Jordan

The first account of the predaceous diving beetles or Dytiscidae of Jordan is presented. Altogether 25 species are listed, although the occurrence of two of them remains doubtful. Nine species are recorded from the territory of Jordan for the first time, and the first precise locality data are provided for an additional seven species. Bidessus anatolicus Wewalka, 1972 and Nebrioporus stearinus (Kolenati, 1845) recorded recently from Jordan based on misidentification are removed from the list. If available, habitat information is provided for recently collected species. The zoogeographical patterns of the region are briefly summarised.

中国纳天牛属二新种记述（鞘翅目：天牛科）

纳天牛属 Ｎｅｄｉｎｅ Ｔｈｏｍ ｓｏｎ, １８６４ 隶属于棒角天牛族 Ｒｈｏｄｏｐｉｎｉ,全球已知３种,分布于东南亚,我国尚无记录。该属的主要特征是触角显较体长,下沿有较密的缨毛,第２节与第４节近等长;体背相当拱隆略呈纺锤形;足较长,腿节呈棒状,后足腿节甚长,几伸达鞘翅末端,后足第１跗节近等长于第２、３节之和。新种模式标本保存于西南农业大学植物保护系昆虫标本馆。１． 刺翅纳天牛 Ｎｅｄｉｎｅ ｓｕｂｓｐｉｎｏｓａ, 新种 （图１～４）新种与 Ｎｅｄｉｎｅ ｌｏｎｇｉｐｅｓ Ｔｈｏｍ ｓｏｎ, １８６４ 较接近,主要区别为体红褐色而非灰褐色,鞘翅基部中央具１角状瘤突,鞘翅隐现３条灰白色绒毛横带而非被一色绒毛等。正模♂,云南付宁剥隘,１９７９－ Ⅴ－ ２,尹耀宜采;副模１♂,采集记录同正模。２． 麻斑纳天牛 Ｎｅｄｉｎｅ ｓｐａｒａｔｉｓ, 新种 （图５～８）本新种与刺翅纳天牛 Ｎ． ｓｕｂｓｐｉｎｏｓａ ｓｐ． ｎｏｖ． 的主要区别为体被均匀一致的绒毛,鞘翅无基瘤及淡色横带,触角下沿具更密而长的缨毛;雄性外生殖器的阳基侧突较短,中茎侧面中部具横凹陷等。正模♂,云南墨江,１９８０－ Ⅵ－ ５,刘芬采。     

中国花天牛亚科三新种记述（鞘翅目：天牛科）

训国花天牛亚科３新种－－黑角瘤花天牛Ｇａｕｒｏｔｉｎａ ｎｉｇｒｏａｎｔｅｎａｔａ,ｓｐ．ｎｏｖ．,青海皮花一在牛Ｒｈａｇｉｕｍ ｑｉｎｇｈａｉｅｎｓｉｓ,ｓｐ．ｎｏｖ．,四面山华花天牛Ｓｉｎｏｓｔｒａｎｇａｌｉｓｓｉｍｉａｎｓｈａｎａ,ｓｐ．ｎｏｖ．。模式标本存西南农业大学昆虫标本馆。     

First records of Leiodytes nicobaricus (Redtenbacher) and Platambus stygius (Régimbart) in Korea (Coleoptera: Dytiscidae)

Two dytiscid beetle species, Leiodytes nicobaricus (Redtenbacher) and Platambus stygius (Régimbart), are identified for the first time in Korea. Diagnoses, habitus and scanning electron microscopy photographs, and line drawings of the diagnostic characters are provided.     

Taxonomic review of the genus Copelatus Erichson (Coleoptera: Dytiscidae) in Korea

A taxonomic review of the genus Copelatus Erichson (Coleoptera: Dytiscidae) in Korea is presented. In the present study, five species of Copelatus are recognized from Korea, including one unrecorded species, C. kammuriensis. We provide a key to the Korean species of Copelatus, diagnosis of one unrecorded species, habitus photographs, scanning electron micrographs of the elytron, and illustrations of the aedeagus.

记述采自西藏林芝地区锹甲科Lucanidae鬼锹甲属Prismognathus中国1新纪录种——吹拔氏鬼锹甲Prismognathus fukinukii Nagai,并给出了新纪录种的整体图,标本保存于西藏大学农牧学院。     

云南地区锹甲科一中国新纪录种

记述采自云南地区锹甲科Lucanidae深山锹甲属Lucanus中国1新纪录种——普氏深山锹甲Lucanus prossi Zilioli,2000,并给出了新纪录种的外形图,标本保存于贵州大学昆虫研究所。     

中国刻胸伪叶甲属一新种记述(鞘翅目:伪叶甲科)

A new species, Aulonogria macroa, sp. nov. belonging to Lagriidae is described from China in the present paper. The type specimens are deposited in the Insect Collection of Southwest Agricultural University.     

中国星斑天牛属一新种记述（鞘翅目：天牛科）

记述星斑天牛属 1新种 :黑星斑天牛 Psacothea nigrostigma,sp.nov.。模式标本保存于天津自然博物馆动物研究室。黑星斑天牛 Psacothea nigrostigma,新种 (图 1～ 4)正模♂ ,云南西双版纳勐啊勐康 ,1 0 0 0 m,1 958- -1 9,朱志彬。本新种与黄星斑天牛 Psacothea hilaris ( Pascoe,1 857)的主要区别为鞘翅具许多不规则的黑色星斑而非蜡黄色圆斑 ,头顶中央淡色带有 1黑色纵脊 ,雄性外生殖器阳基侧突端刚毛仅限于端部 1 /4而非几达 1 /2 ,交配孔腹缘狭圆而非略宽圆 ,以及内囊中部具粗密微刺而非内囊具均匀一致细微刺等

中国球虎天牛属Calloides一新种(鞘翅目:天牛科:天牛亚科)

本文报道球虎天牛属Calloides1新种——云南球虎天牛Calloidesyunnanensissp.nov.,模式标本保存在西南大学昆虫标本馆。该新种与黄带刺虎天牛C.magnificus(Pic)近似,主要区别特征是第3、4节触角之比为3∶2而非1∶1;鞘翅黄色,具3对黑斑而非黑色具3对黄带。正模:♀,云南省威信县,1980-Ⅵ-24,陶正武采。     

云南豆芫菁属一新种(鞘翅目:芫菁科)

记述中国云南豆芫菁属1新种:隐纹豆芫菁Epicautacryptogramaca,sp.nov.。新种与陈氏豆芫菁E.cheniTan,1958在外形上相似,两者的主要区别是:前者唇基和上唇扁平并有刻点和毛,后者唇基前缘光滑厚实,上唇基部和端部光滑;前者触角被一色的黑短毛,后者基部3节则密生浅色毛;前者前足第1跗节正常,后者则变为宽卵形;前者的足完全黑色,后者的后足胫节棕至棕黄。模式标本保存在河北大学博物馆。     

新疆漠王属昆虫三新种记述(鞘翅目:拟步甲科)

记述采自新疆的漠王属Platyope Fischer—waldheim 3新种：奇台漠王Platyope qitaiensis,sp．nov．,霍城漠王Platyope korgasica,sp．nov．,库尔勒漠王Platyope korlaensis,sp．nov．。模式标本保存在新疆大学生命科学与技术学院。     

New or little-known species of the genus Amphimenes Bates, 1873 (Coleoptera, Carabidae, Lebiinae) from Vietnam

Twelve new species of the genus Amphimenes Bates, 1873 are described from Vietnam: Amphimenes maculatussp. n., Amphimenes bidoupensissp. n., Amphimenes gracilissp. n., Amphimenes montanussp. n., Amphimenes giganteussp. n., Amphimenes mediussp. n., Amphimenes minutussp. n., Amphimenes rufipessp. n., Amphimenes reflexicollissp. n., Amphimenes planicollissp. n., Amphimenes nitidussp. n., and Amphimenes kabakovisp. n.. Amphimenes rugulipennis Bates, 1892, comb. n., is transferred from the genus Brachichila Chaudoir, 1869 and is redescribed from fresh material. A key to all congeners is provided, these being arranged into five new species-groups. Adults of the rugulipennis- and piceolus-groups show subcortical habits, while those of the medius-, rufipes- and planicollis- groupsare herpetobiotic, resulting in such morphological adaptations as partly reduced eyes, missing wings and adnate elytra.     

中国盗隐翅虫属一新种记述(鞘翅目:隐翅虫科:四眼隐翅虫亚科)

记述采自我国浙江省龙王山自然保护区和天目山自然保护区的盗隐翅虫属Lesteva 1新种——黄盗隐翅虫Lesteva ochra,sp．nov．。新种与Rougemont(2000)记载于同一产地的Lesteva elegantula在斑纹上较相似,但根据体形的差异可与后者区分;新种在体形上与记载于同一产地的Lesteva flavopuctata较相似,但根据阳茎的侧叶短于中叶可与后者区分;新种的阳茎形状与记载于同一产地的Lesteva submaculata较相似,但侧叶内侧没有柔毛可与后者区分。正模：♂,浙江省龙王山,2004-Ⅳ-24,朱礼龙采;副模：1♂,2♀♀,采集地点同正模,2004-Ⅳ-23,汤亮采;1♀,采集地点及日期同正模,胡佳耀采;1♂,1♀,浙江省临安市天目山,2001-Ⅴ-02,宋晨祖采。
