The oonopid spiders of Taiwan are surveyed. Seven genera and 13 species are recognized, including 3 new species: Ischnothyreus kentingensis sp. n., Xyphinus hwangi sp. n. and Xestaspis shoushanensis sp. n. Seven species are newly recorded from this region: Brignolia parumpunctata (Simon, 1893), Opopaea apicalis s (Simon, 1893), Opopaea cornuta Yin & Wang, 1984, Opopaea deserticola Simon, 1891, Orchestina sinensis Xu, 1987, Pseudotriaeris karschi (Bösenberg & Strand, 1906) and Xestaspis loricata (L. We relimit and revise the family Selenopidae to include four new genera and 27 new species from Australia and the Oriental Region. The family is redefined, as are the genera Anyphops Benoit, Garcorops Corronca, Hovops Benoit, Selenops Latreille, and Siamspinops Dankittipakul & Corronca, to accommodate the new genera and to correct previous inconsistencies in the diagnoses and definitions of the aforementioned genera. The species of Selenops that occur throughout India and China are also reviewed. Three species occur in China: Selenops bursarius Karsch 1879, also known from Japan, Korea and Taiwan, Selenops ollarius Zhu, Sha, & Chen 1990, and Selenops radiatus Latreille 1819, the type of the genus and most widespread selenopid. Selenops cordatus Zhu, Sha & Chen syn. n. is recognized as a junior synonym of Selenops radiatus. Amamanganopsgen. n. is monotypic, with Amamanganops baginawasp. n. (♀; from the Philippines). Godumopsgen. n. is monotypic, with Godumops caritussp. n. (♂; from Papua New Guinea). Karaopsgen. n. occurs throughout Australia and includes 24 species. A new combination is proposed for Karaops australiensis (L. Koch 1875) comb. n. (ex. Selenops), and the new species: Karaops gangariesp. n. (♀, ♂), Karaops monteithisp. n. (♀), Karaops alanlongbottomisp. n. (♂), Karaops keithlongbottomisp. n. (♂), Karaops larryoosp. n. (♂), Karaops jarritsp. n. (♂,♀), Karaops marrayagongsp. n. (♀), Karaops ravenisp. n. (♂,♀), Karaops badgeraddasp. n. (♀), Karaops burbidgeisp. n. (♂,♀), Karaops karrawarlasp. n. (♂,♀), Karaops julianneaesp. n. (♀), Karaops martamartasp. n. (♀), Karaops manaaynsp. n. (♀, ♂), Karaops vadlaadambarasp. n. (♀, ♂), Karaops pilkingtonisp. n. (♀, ♂), Karaops deserticolasp. n. (♀), Karaops ngarutjaranyasp. n. (♂,♀), Karaops francesaesp. n. (♂,♀), Karaops toolbrunupsp. n. A new combination is proposed for Makdiops agumbensis (Tikader 1969), comb. n., Makdiops montigenus (Simon 1889), comb. n., Makdiops nilgirensis (Reimoser 1934) comb. n.,(ex. Selenops). Also, there are two new species the type of the genus Makdiops mahishasurasp. n. (♀; from India), and Makdiops shivasp. n. (♀). The genus Pakawopsgen. n. is monotypic. A new combination is proposed for Pakawops formosanus (Kayashima 1943) comb. n. (ex. Selenops), known only from Taiwan. A new combination is proposed for Siamspinops aculeatus (Simon)comb. n. (ex. Selenops). The distribution and diversity of the studied selenopid fauna is discussed. Finally, keys are provided to all of the selenopid genera and to the species of Karaopsgen. n.and Makdiopsgen. n.  相似文献

The spiders of the family Sparassidae in Israel have been described and species of the Middle East and from adjacent faunae have been revised. They are amongst the main predatory spiders of the Old World deserts although some also occur in less arid environments. Systematic and ecological information is presented and patterns of their zoogeographic distribution are discussed. Type and non-type material pertinent to the faunae investigated, deposited in a great number of European collections, has been re-examined. Nearly all species have never been adequately described or illustrated. The genus Cerbalus , species of which have never before been recorded in Asia, is revised. Nonianus is likewise a new Asiatic record while Olios and Heteropoda are reported for the first time from Israel. The African Micrommata longipes Bösenberg & Lenz, 1895 is transferred to Pseudomicrommata, Cerbalus concolor Denis,1947 is newly placed in Cerbalopsis , and a new synonymy of the genus Marmarica Caporiacco,1928 with Cerbalus Simon, 1897 has been proved. The following new synonyms are defined: Heteropoda civilis (Reuss, 1834) together with Sparassus tersus (C. L. Koch, 1838), S. validus Thorell, 1875, S. cognatus O.P.-Cambridge, 1876, 5. fontanieri Simon, 1880, and Eusparassus kronebergi Denis,1958 = Sparassus walckenaeri (Audouin, 1827); Cerbalus angustifrons Denis,1960, and C. sahariensis Jézéquel & Junqua,1966 = Cerbalus pulcherrimus (Simon, 1880); Olios impediens Denis,1947 = Olios suavis (O.P.Cambridge, 1876), new combination; Cebrennus sparassoides Caporiacco, 1921 = Cebrennus castaneitarsis Simon, 1880. Two new species are described: Cerbalus psammodes and C. negebensis. Key to the genera and detailed illustrations of diagnostic characters are provided for each species, and are readily applicable to species of adjacent countries.  相似文献

A new genus Pseudoeupodes Khaustov, gen. n. and new species Pseudoeupodes porosus sp. n. are described from moss in Crimea. The taxonomy of the Eupodidae and some other families and genera of Eupodoidea is reviewed. The genus Turanopenthalodes Barilo, 1988 is transferred from Penthalodidae to Penthaleidae. The family Cocceupodidae Jesionowska, 2010 and the genus Filieupodes Jesionowska, 2010 are considered as junior synonyms of Eupodidae Koch, 1842 and Cocceupodes Thor, 1934, respectively. Three liocranid spider species are described with illustrations: a new species, Agroeca bonghwaensis n. sp. and two species new to Korean spider fauna, Agroeca montana Hayashi, 1986 and Scotina palliardii (Koch, 1881). A new genus and five new species belonging to the family Tetrablemmidae are described from caves in Southwest China, i.e., Sinammaoxycera gen. & sp. n., Singaporemma banxiaoensis sp. n., Singaporemma wulongensis sp. n., Tetrablemma ziyaoensis sp. n. andTetrablemma menglaensis sp. n. The following new combination is proposed: Sinamma sanya (Lin & Li, 2010), comb. n. ex. Shearella Lehtinen, 1981. The relationships of the Sinamma gen. n. with other genera are discussed. 选用新蛛类的9种蜘蛛作为研究的对象,通过听毛的电镜观察探讨听毛在不同类群的差异。研究结果表明:管网蛛科的北京马蹄蛛的毛窝和听毛显然与中纺类,原蛛类和新蛛类中其他科的种类均不相同。拟壁钱科的居室拟壁钱(有筛器蜘蛛)和北国壁钱(无筛器蛛蛛)的毛窝和听毛的结构相差悬殊,很难看出亲缘上的关系,刺瓣似隙蛛和机敏漏斗蛛的毛窝差别大,无法表明它们之间近缘,园蛛科和肖蛸科种类的听毛窝和听毛数目表明两者之间近缘。  相似文献

The new species Crocodorylaimus minor sp. n. is described, and Aporcella maitai (Yeates, 1967) comb. n. is redescribed. C. minor sp. n. resembles C. dadayi (Thorne et Schwanger, 1936), but differs from it in a shorter body, shorter odontostyle, absence of vulvar papillae, slenderer tail in females, and shorter spicules. Aporcelaimellus maitai Yeates, 1967 is transfered to the genus Aporcella Andrássy, 2002, taking the name Aporcella maitai (Yeates, 1967) comb. n. Aporcelaimellus heynsi Baqri et Jairajpuri, 1968 and Aporcelaimellus glandus Botha et Heyns 1991 are synonymized under Aporcella maitai (Yeates, 1967) comb. n. Identification keys to the valid species of the genera Crocodorylaimus and Aporcella are provided.  相似文献

The spider genus Dysdera has undergone an extraordinary species radiation in the Canary Islands. As a first step towards the recovery of the endemic species phylogeny and the study of the evolutionary processes underlying its diversification, an exhaustive taxonomical work is required. The present paper deals with the endemic species that inhabit the western Canaries: La Gomera, La Palma and El Hierro. Four new species are described: Dysdera enghoffi sp. n., D. hirguan sp. n., D. orahan sp. n. and D. ramblae sp. n. Three new synonymies are reported: D. palmensis Schmidt, 1982 = D. crocota Koch, 1839, D. multipilosa Wunderlich, 1991 = D. levipes Wunderlich, 1987 and D. silvatica Schmidt, 1981 = D. rugichelis Simon, 1907. Four species are redescribed: D. calderensis Wunderlich, 1991 D. clavisetae Wunderlich, 1991 D. levipes Wunderlich, 1987 and D. rugichelis Simon, 1907 for which a neotype is designated. The presence on the western islands of the formerly described species D. insulana Simon, 1883, D. macra Simon, 1883 and D. nesiotes Simon, 1907 are considered to be doubtful. The citation of D. cribellata Simon, 1883 in La Palma (Simon, 1907) was based on a mis-identification. The species D. gomerensis Strand, 1911 is designated as a nomen dubium. Morphological affinities as well as ecology and distribution of the species are discussed.  相似文献

通过青海鹅观草属叶片表皮的解剖观察,结合外部形态,表明了该属植物在小麦族中共族分属的合理性,同时对青海地区属下类群重新进行了确认,共划分2组16种,即拟技碱草组,包括6种;弯穗草组,包括10种.过去处理的种短柄鹅观草和多秆鹅观革分别作为短颖鹅观草和缘毛鹅观草的变种。此外,类群间的演化水平和属的地理起源也作了初步探讨。  相似文献

Presently two species of the genus Mychophilus Hesse, 1865 are known: Mychophilus roseus Hesse, 1865 and Mychophilus fallax Stock, 1967. A hitherto unknown species is described herein as Microphilus palmatus n. sp. The new species is characterized by its urosome much exceeding the cephalosome-metasome in length, the ornamentation of the labrum, the shape of the palp of the first maxilla, the ornamentation of the legs 1–4 and shape of the caudal rami. These and other features of the genus Mychophilus are compared with those from other related genera of the family Ascidicolidae Thorell, 1859.  相似文献

A new family, the Echinamoebidae, is proposed within the order Amoebida (Protozoa, Sarcodina) for amoebae producing finely-pointed, non-anastomosing pseudopodia. Within this family two new genera, Echinamoeba and Stachyamoeba , are defined and two new species of edaphic origin described. The genus Filamoeba Page, 1967, is transferred to the Echinamoebidae, but further comparative studies are desirable before other genera are included. The varieties of conical sub-pseudopodia are examined, and some of the general criteria for taxonomy of the Amoebida are discussed as they apply to the Echinamoebidae.  相似文献

Three species of Synaphris occurring in the East Mediterranean - Synaphris orientalis Marusik & Lehtinen, 2003, Synaphris lehtineni Marusik, Gnelitsa & Kovblyuk, 2005 and Synaphris letourneuxi (Simon, 1884) - are surveyed; and a new species - Synaphris wunderlichisp. n. - is described from southern Israel on the basis of males. The new species differs from other East- Mediterranean congeners by its smaller size, a smaller lamella with fewer ridges, and a thick palpal femur. Ladybird spiders ( Eresus spp.) have attracted scientific interest since the 18th century, but taxonomical knowledge of the genus is unsatisfactory. Early classification based on colour and size variation divided European Eresus into numerous species. These were later lumped into one predominant morphospecies, Eresus niger / E. cinnaberinus , which could be found from Portugal to Central Asia. Here, we perform a major revision of Eresus from northern and central Europe using morphological, phenological, habitat, distribution and molecular data. Three species, E. kollari , E. sandaliatus and E. moravicus sp. n. were distinguished. The name E. niger (originally Aranea nigra ) cannot be used as the name A. nigra was used for a previous spider species. The name E. cinnaberinus is considered a nomen dubium . The three species differ in size, colour pattern, shape of prosoma and copulatory organs, phenology, and have slightly different habitat requirements. No morphologically intermediate forms were recorded. In contrast to distinct morphology and phenology, the genus is genetically complex. Genetically, the mitochondrial haplotypes of E. sandaliatus and E. moravicus sp. n. are monophyletic, whereas those of E. kollari are paraphyletic. Eastern central European E. kollari is likely a hybrid lineage between E. sandaliatus and the monophyletic western central European E. kollari . Because eastern and western European E. kollari are morphologically and phenologically indistinguishable, we did not formally split them. However, detailed population-based research in the future may partition E. kollari into additional species.  相似文献

Morphological and ethological criteria were used in studying the taxonomic relations between different forms within the genus Araniella . Criteria for a diagnosis of all species and subspecies of the genus are given. A. opisthographa (Kulczyski, 1905), A. cucurbitina (Clerck, 1757), A. proxima (Kulczyski, 1885) and A. maderiana (Kulczyski, 1905) form one group of sibling species in the narrowest sense, A. alpica (L. Koch, 1869) and A. inconspicua (Simon, 1874) a second distinct one. A. displicata (Hentz, 1847) seems to occupy a relatively isolated position. A. cossoni (Simon, 1885) is regarded as a synonym for A. cucurbitina . It is impossible to make a statement about the status of A. silesiaca (Fickert, 1876) and A. croatica (Kulczyski, 1905) because of the lack of sufficient material. A. silesiaca is not a synonym for Araneus crispulus Tullgren, 1952, a species which does not belong to the genus Araniella .  相似文献

Taxonomic classifications simultaneously represent hypotheses of taxon identity and relationships to taxonomists, and real, unchanging entities to users of taxonomic information. Taxonomic changes, while representing scientific progress, can be a source of frustration for users. A method for assessing confidence in the taxonomy of a group of organisms would assist users of the taxonomy. A method is presented for determining the degree of development of a taxonomy, a concept termed ‘taxonomic resolution’. The method was applied to six groups of southern African mygalomorph trapdoor spiders, namely Stasimopus Simon 1892 (Ctenizidae Thorell 1877), Ancylotrypa Simon 1889 (Cyrtaucheniidae Simon 1889), four genera of Idiopidae Simon 1889 assessed as a single group, Galeosoma Purcell 1903, the families Migidae Simon 1889 and Microstigmatidae Roewer 1942, and the burrowing scorpion genus Opistophthalmus C. L. Koch 1837 (Scorpionidae Latreille 1802). The method was based on the assumption that species delimitation in a group of organisms, the taxonomy of which is based on morphological characters, depends on whether the sample of material examined is adequate for assessing variation in those characters. Five assessment criteria were identified and scored for a group of species using the taxonomic literature. Estimates of the number of species remaining to be discovered and described in each group were also included in the assessment. The results obtained for the trapdoor spiders ranged from 15 to 29%, indicating a potentially significant degree of uncertainty in the taxonomy. Results for Migidae and Microstigmatidae were 51 and 78% respectively, whereas the result for Opistophthalmus was 93%. The applied value of a measure of taxonomic resolution, the limitations of the method, and a strategy for developing a more generally applicable method are discussed.  相似文献

This paper constitutes a revisionary treatment of the Encyrtid subtribe Dinocarsiina as defined by Kerrich (1967). The genera there listed are studied, together with Praleurocerus Agarwal and Aeptencyrtus De Santis, which are here included. Encyrtolophus De Santis is treated as a subgenus of Chrysoplatycerus Ashmead although it is very distinct from the type species of that genus. A new genus is proposed for Tropidophryne flandersi Compare. All specíes are redescribed with exception of two belonging to monotypic genera. Five species are described as new.  相似文献

Three new genera ( Araphura, Leptognathioides and Stenotanais ) and six new species of tanaid crustaceans from below 1000 m depth in the north-east Atlantic are described. Two of the new species belong to the genus Leptognathiella Hansen, 1913, which is redescribed and removed from synonymy with Leptognathia Sars, 1882 ( sensu Lang 1968). These species are relatively common in the tanaid material examined and have a widespread distribution in the area under study, i.e. the Rockall Trough, Porcupine Seabight and Bay of Biscay. All six species are found at depths between 2070 and 2892 m. A further nine species previously belonging to the genus Leptognathia are removed to the new genera or to Leptognathiella. New records of Leptognathioides polita (Hansen, 1913) comb.n. and Leptognathiella abyssi (Hansen, 1913) have been obtained.  相似文献
