Based on the study of specimens from Hunan, and field observations in Hengshan (holotype locality of Pellionia cephaloidea W. T. Wang), Nanyue, Hunan, China, Pellionia cephaloidea W. T. Wang is regarded as a new synonym of Pellionia scabra Benth., and Pellionia Gaudich. sect. Elatostematopsis W. T. Wang as a new synonym of Pellionia Gaudich. sect. Pellionia.     

Soldanella rugosa is synonym to real S. marmarossiensis

Soldanella rugosa Zhang & Kadereit is a synonym to the real S. marmarossiensis Klášt. Correct name for the taxon called S. marmarossiensis by Zhang and Kadereit as defined by them is S. haretii G. Grint. but it comprises at least three different taxa.     

葡萄糖和乳糖对钝顶螺旋藻生长和色素含量的影响

A new synonym of Hylodesmum podocarpum ssp. podocarpum (Leguminosae)

Close examination of the type material of Podocarpium lancangense Y. Y. Qian has shown that this species is indistinguishable from Hylodesmum podocarpum (DC.) H.　Ohashi & R. R. Mill ssp. podocarpum, and thus is reduced to synonymy herein.

The Behaviour of Nucleic Acids and Other Constituents in Protomyces inundatus Dangeard

Estimations of contents per cell of DNA and RNA were made inProtomyces inundatus. There was twice as much DNA per cell incultures derived from fusion bodies and from mycelium in thehost (Apium nodiflorum) as in those derived from unfused endospores,indicating that the former two were diploid, the latter haploid.Dry weight/cell, volume/cell, insoluble nitrogen/cell, and metaphosphate/cell,like RNA/cell, had similar values for all three types of cultures.Giant cells resulting from camphor treatment not only had twiceas much DNA/cell as normal cultures derived from unfused endospores,but all the other characteristics studied had doubled as well.In any one culture the ratio of RNA to DNA remained constantthough the absolute values decreased as the cultures aged. TheRNA to DNA ratios in P. inundatus of haploid and diploid culturesare compared to those found in yeast and other organisms.     

蔓赤车的一个新异名

根据对产自湖南的蔓赤车Pelliona scabra Benth．标本的研究,结合在头序赤车P．cephaloidea W． t. Wang模式产地湖南南岳衡山的野外调查,发现头序赤车的模式标本是采自幼雌花序时期的蔓赤车,故将头序赤车作为蔓赤车的新异名,头序赤车组作为赤车组的新异名。     

Chlamydomonas reinhardtii Dangeard (Chlamydomonadales, Chlorophyceae) mutant with multiple eyespots

We have isolated a new Chlamydomonas reinhardtii Dangeard (Chlamydomonadales, Chlorophyceae) mutant with from one up to more than four eyespots cell^?1. It was designated mes (multiple eyespots)‐10 A wild‐type cell has a single eyespot, located under the chloroplast envelope, at a certain position near the cell's equator where the chloroplast envelope is in contact with the cell membrane. The eyespot(s) in mes‐10, however, are located at various positions on its chloroplast. The mes‐10 cells displayed negative phototaxis to 480–500 nm light. This behavior differed from that of a similar mutant, ptx4, which has been shown to have multiple eyespots and display no phototaxis (Pazour et al., J. Cell Biol. 1995; 131 : 427–40). Mes‐10 may retain a functional photoreceptor and a photosignal transduction system independently of its multiple eyespots. This mutant should be useful for studying how C. reinhardtii responds to light signals, as well as how eyespots are formed in the cell.     

苦苣苔科吊石苣苔属一新异名

2017年，印度学者Joe等基于采自中国藏东南地区的植物标本，发表了合萼吊石苣苔的一新变种Lysionotus gamosepalus W. T. Wang var.biflorus A. Joe, Hareesh&M. Sabu,并且认为该新变种与原变种的主要区分特征包括叶缘稍具锯齿、每个腋生花序仅有2朵花、花冠被毛、具2枚卷曲的退化雄蕊。然而，近年来，笔者基于查阅大量标本和野外考察工作，认为所谓变种的形态特征是在合萼吊石苣苔(Lysionotus gamosepalus W. T. Wang)的变异范围之内，加之分布区完全重叠，生长环境类似，物候期一致，不宜作为变种等级处理。故在此将该变种处理为合萼吊石苣苔的异名。     

广东木莲的一个新异名

根据对广东木莲Manglientia kwangtungensis（Merr．）Dandy和毛桃木莲M.moto Dandy大量标本的研究,将毛桃木莲处理为广东木莲的一个异名。
