A review of the genus Pimpla Fabricius, 1804 (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae: Pimplinae) from Vietnam with descriptions of two new species

The ichneumonid wasp genus Pimpla Fabricius, 1804 is reviewed for the first time from Vietnam. Two new species are described: Pimpla lexuanhuei sp. nov. from Phu Tho Province and Pimpla chuyansinensis sp. nov. from Dak Lak Province. Five further species are recorded as new for Vietnam: P. bilineata (Cameron), P. cameronii Dalla Torre, P. ereba Cameron, P. flavipalpis Cameron, and P. laothoe Cameron. Pimpla instigator (Fabricius, 1793), a junior synonym of P. rufipes (Miller, 1759), previously recorded from Vietnam, was re-identified as P. laothoe and therefore is excluded from the ichneumonid fauna of Vietnam. A key to all ten species listed in this paper is also compiled.     

Two new species of the genus Chablisea Gauld et Dubois (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae: Pimplinae) from Vietnam

Two new species of the genus Chablisea Gauld et Dubois, 2006 are described from Vietnam based on ichneumonid material collected from 2002 to 2008. Chablisea condimenta sp. n. differs from other species of the genus by the absence of the second abscissa of hind wing vein Cu1, narrower hind femur (5.2 times as long as wide), and yellow subapical, lateral spots on metasomal tergites 2–5. Chablisea khuatdanglongi sp. n. is characterized by its face as high as wide, yellow with a median black stripe extending to a black transverse band at the base of the clypeus. One species, C. albifacialis (Kusigemati, 1984) is a new combination.     

Contribution to the knowledge of Acaenitinae (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae) from Vietnam,with descriptions of two new species

Two new species Ishigakia curvicaudicula Pham & Long sp. nov., and Yezoceryx comaensis Pham sp. nov. are described and illustrated. An updated key to 15 known species of Ishigakia of the world fauna is also provided. The new species Yezoceryx comaensis Pham sp. nov. is inserted in a key to the Vietnamese species provided by Pham et al. (2017). Two new species of genus Chablisea Gauld et Dubois, 2006 (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae: Pimplinae) from China

Chablisea concave sp. n. and C. Varicolor sp. n. from China are described and illustrated. A key to the world species of the genus is provided. Type specimens are deposited in the Parasitic Hymenoptera Collection of Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China (ZJUH).

Review of the genus Eusterinx Förster, 1869 (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae: Orthocentrinae) with descriptions of five new species from South Korea

South Korean species of the genus Eusterinx Förster are reviewed here. Nine species of the genus Eusterinx are found to occur in South Korea, and five species, Eusterinx (E.) elongata sp. nov. , E. (Holomeristus) hirtis sp. nov. , E. (Ischyracis) fulvipes sp. nov. , E. (I.) petiolata sp. nov. and E. (I.) rufithorax sp. nov. , are described. Four more species of Eusterinx from subgenera Divinatrix, Eusterinx and Holomeristus are recorded from South Korea for the first time. Hitherto, unknown male of the Eastern Palaearctic species E. (Divinatrix) kurilensis Humala is described. A key to all known species of the genus Eusterinx occurring in South Korea is provided.     

A new genus and two new species of Phygadeuontini (Hymenoptera, Ichneumonidae, Cryptinae) from China

Carinityla Sheng & Sun gen. n., Carinityla punctulata Sheng & Sun sp. n. and Carinityla pilosa Sheng & Sun sp. n. belonging to the tribe Phygadeuontini of the subfamily Cryptinae (Hymenoptera, Ichneumonidae), collected from Jiangxi Province, China, are described. A key to the species of the new genus, Carinityla Sheng & Sun, gen. n., is provided and the genus is placed in Townes' key to genera of Endaseina.     

A new genus and species of Metopiinae (Hymenoptera, Ichneumonidae) from Mexico

A new genus of Metopiinae, Ojuelos Khalaim, gen. n., with a single species, Ojuelos juachicus Khalaim & Ruíz-Cancino, sp. n., is described from Jalisco Province in central Mexico. Ojuelos belongs to the group of three genera (Cubus Townes & Townes, Colpotrochia Holmgren and Triclistus Förster) having a high lamella separating the antennal sockets and reaching the median ocellus (this lamella possesses a dorsal groove in it, just below the median ocellus), but differs from these genera primarily by 1) face and clypeus not convex in lateral view, 2) face separated from clypeus by a shallow transverse impression, 3) mandible with lower tooth very strongly reduced, 4) flagellomeres of antenna strongly transverse, and 5) dorsal carinae of propodeum reduced. A portion of the key to the genera of Metopiinae is provided to distinguish the new genus.     

Review of the Macrophya formosana group (Hymenoptera: Tenthredinidae) with descriptions of two new species

The Macrophya formosana group is reviewed and six species are recognized from Europe and East Asia, among them two new species, M. brevispuralis Li, Liu & Wei sp. nov. and M. pseudoformosana Li, Liu & Wei sp. nov. from China, and four known species, M. crassula (Klug 1817), M. dolichogaster Wei & Ma, 1997, M. formosana Rohwer 1916 and M. liukiuana Takeuchi 1926. A key to all known species of the Macrophya formosana group is provided.     

Review of the Macrophya regia group (Hymenoptera: Tenthredinidae) from China with the descriptions of two new species

The Macrophya regia group is reviewed and five species are recognized from China, among them two new species, M. acutiserrula Li, Liu & Wei sp. nov. and M. frontalis Li, Liu & Zhu sp. nov., and three known species, M. regia Forsius 1930 , M. maculoclypeatina Wei et al. 2003, and M. xiaoi Wei et al. 2003. A key to the Chinese species of the Macrophya regia group are provided.     

Contribution to the Ichneumoninae (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae) of Iran,with descriptions of three new species

In this faunistic survey, we give distributional records for 48 species and subspecies of Ichneumoninae found in Iran, mainly from Golestan and Azerbaijan-e-Grabi provinces. 13 of these taxa are new for the Iranian fauna. Three Iranian species are new to science and described and illustrated, namely Coelichneumon iranicus Riedel sp. n., Coelichneumon melanocastaneus Riedel sp. n., and Coelichneumon nigrifrons Riedel sp. n.
