Administration of matrine-U-3H and sophocarpine-U-3H to Sophora alopecuroides seedlings shows that these compounds were incorporated into quinolizidine alkaloids such as matrine, sophacarpine, and their N-oxides, but not into sophoridine. It is suggested that there is no stereochemical conversion of alkaloids of matrine configuration into sophoridine by the plant. The incorporation of cadaverine-1,5-14C was so low that it cannot be regarded with certainty as a physiological precursor of the alkaloids. The N-oxides of matrine and sophocarpine were isolated and identified by their chromatographic and chemical properties. 相似文献

The genus Hebeloma has a number of species highly specific to Cistus and others that occur with several host genera. This paper discusses the species of Hebeloma that appear to be ectomycorrhizal with Cistus, judging from their occurrence when Cistus is the only available host. The previously unknown species H. plesiocistum spec. nov. is described. We also provide a key to the known Hebeloma associates of Cistus. Molecular analyses based on ITS sequence data further illustrate the distinctness of the newly described species and difficulties in the species delimitation with view to H. erumpens. Specific associations with Cistus may have evolved more than once within the genus Hebeloma. 相似文献

Water-soluble polysaccharide material comprising d-galactose (53·0%), l-arabinose (33·2%) and d-glucuronic acid (13·8%) has been isolated from the leaves of Phaseolus atropurpureus. Acid hydrolysis, periodate oxidation and methylation have indicated a highly branched structure. The principal interglycosidic linkages have been tentatively identified as 1,3- and 1,6-linked d-galactopyranose and 1,3-linked l-arabinofuranose residues. In synthesising polysaccharide with these structural features, P. atropurpureus differs from other legumes such as soybean, lucerne and Centrosema. 相似文献

Nine new pregnane alkaloids, pachysamines J-R (1-9), together with seven known ones, were isolated from Pachysandra axillaris. The chemical structures of the new alkaloids were elucidated by spectroscopic methods. All the compounds were evaluated for their inhibitory activities against HL-60, SMMC-7721, A-549, SK-BR-3, and PANC-1 cell lines. Compound 15 possessed moderate activities against A-549, SK-BR-3, and PANC-1 cells, with the IC50 values of 11.17, 4.17, and 10.76 μM, respectively. Besides, compound 11 showed cytotoxicities against A-549 cell, with the IC50 values as 24.94 μM. 相似文献

Ferret-badgers, genus Melogale, are distributed in the Indochinese region, Java, Bali and NE-Borneo. There are currently four species described each having very similar phenotypes. In March 2005, a living ferret-badger of a different phenotype was confiscated by rangers from Cuc Phuong National Park, Vietnam. This individual died and the carcass was not preserved. In January 2006, a newly deceased individual of the same phenotype was found at the Endangered Primate Rescue Center, Cuc Phuong National Park. Due to several different characteristics these individuals vary greatly from the current species. Thus, we describe an additional species, M. cucphuongensis sp. nov. from northern Vietnam, which occurs sympatrically with M. moschata and M. personata, but differs from both species clearly in skull morphology and other features.Based on a 423 bp-long fragment of the mitochondrial cytochrome b gene, M. cucphuongensis sp. nov. is a member of the genus Melogale and represents a sister lineage to a clade consisting of M. personata and M. moschata. 相似文献

The absolute configuration (AC) of 6β-hydroxy-3α-senecioyloxytropane (1), 3α-hydroxy-6β-tigloyloxytropane (2), 3α-hydroxy-6β-senecioyloxytropane (3), and 3α-hydroxy-6β-angeloyloxytropane (4) was assigned as (1R,3R,5S,6R) using density functional theory (DFT) calculations at the B3LYP/DGDZVP level of theory in combination with experimental vibrational circular dichroism (VCD) measurements and comparison with the spectra of similar tropanes. The AC of 1 followed from a sample isolated from Schizanthus grahamii, while those of the mixture of 2 and 3, isolated from the same source, were determined by comparing the VCD measurement to a weighted calculation of the individual VCD spectra according to a 69:31 ratio of 2:3 determined by 1H NMR signal integration. In turn, Schizanthus pinnatus provided a 7:3 mixture of 1:4 whose AC was determined using the experimental VCD absorptions in the 1150-950 cm−1 spectral region which were compared with those observed for 1-3 and with those described for other 3α,6β-tropanediol derivatives. 相似文献

Five cycloartane-type triterpene glycosides were isolated from the methanol extract of the roots of Astragalus amblolepis Fischer along with one known saponin, 3-O-β-D-xylopyranosyl-16-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-3β,6α,16β,24(S),25-pentahydroxy-cycloartane. Structures of the compounds were established as 3-O-β-D-xylopyranosyl-25-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-3β,6α,16β,24(S),25-pentahydroxy-cycloartane, 3-O-[β-D-glucuronopyranosyl-(1 → 2)-β-D-xylopyranosyl]-25-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-3β,6α,16β,24(S),25-pentahydroxy-cycloartane, 3-O-β-D-xylopyranosyl-24,25-di-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-3β,6α,16β,24(S),25-pentahydroxy-cycloartane, 6-O-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl-16,24-di-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-3β,6α,16β,24(S),25-pentahydroxy-cycloartane, 6-O-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl-16,25-di-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-3β,6α,16β,24(S),25-pentahydroxy-cycloartane by using 1D and 2D-NMR techniques and mass spectrometry. Five Mycoplasma strains from wild Caprinae were analyzed: four from Alpine ibex (Capra ibex) which died at the Berlin Zoo between 1993 and 1994, one from a Rocky Mountain goat collected in the USA prior to 1987. These five strains represented a population different from the populations belonging to the ‘Mycoplasma mycoides cluster’ as tested using multi locus sequence typing, Matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization time of flight mass spectrometry analysis and DNA–DNA hybridization. Analysis of the 16S rRNA gene (rrs), genomic sequence based in silico as well as laboratory DNA–DNA hybridization, and the analysis of phenotypic traits in particular their exceptionally rapid growth all confirmed that they do not belong to any Mycoplasma species described to date. We therefore suggest these strains represent a novel species, for which we propose the name Mycoplasma feriruminatoris sp. nov. The type strain is G5847T (= DSM 26019T = NCTC 1362T). 相似文献

The essential oils of the aerial parts of nine species of Hypericum (Hypericum barbatum, Hypericum hirsutum, Hypericum linarioides, Hypericum maculatum, Hypericum olympicum, Hypericum perforatum, Hypericum richeri, Hypericum rumeliacum and Hypericum tetrapterum), collected from different locations in Southeast Serbia, were obtained by steam distillation and analyzed by GC and GC–MS. The essential oils investigated were characterized by a high content of non-terpene compounds and a low content of monoterpenes. The contents of non-terpenes, monoterpenes and sesquiterpenes in oils of the species H. barbatum, H. richeri and H. rumeliacum (section Drosocaprium) were similar and these oils were characterized by high contents of fatty acids. The oils of H. hirsutum and H. linarioides (section Taeniocarpium) contained a high percentage of n-nonane. There were similarities in contents of non-terpenes and sesquiterpenes in oils of species that belong to the section Hypericum (H. maculatum, H. perforatum and H. tetrapterum). The oil of H. olympicum differed from others by higher terpene content. A comparison was also carried out of the chemical composition of the essential oils from flower, leaf and stem of H. perforatum and it revealed that the highest concentration of non-terpene compounds was found in the flower and stem oil, while a high concentration of sesquiterpenes was characteristic for leaf oil. There were significant differences in the concentrations of the same compounds in the essential oils of H. maculatum, H. olympicum and H. perforatum, collected in different years from the same location which could be explained by seasonal differences. All data were statistically processed with principal component analysis and cluster analysis. The main conclusion from the above data is that genetic and environmental factors both play a role in determining the composition of essential oils of the Hypericum species studied. 相似文献

The origin of Hordelymus genome has been debated for years, and no consensus conclusion was reached. In this study, we sequenced and analyzed the RPB2 (RNA polymerase subunit II) gene from Hordelymus europaeus (L.) Harz, and its potential diploid ancestor species those were suggested in previous studies. The focus of this study was to examine the phylogenetic relationship of Hordelymus genomes with its potential donor Hordeum, Psathyrostachys, and Taeniatherum species. Two distinguishable copies of sequences were obtained from H. europaeus. The obvious difference between the two copies of sequences is a 24 bp indel (insertion/deletion). Phylogenetic analysis showed a strong affinity between Hordeum genome and Hordelymus with 85% bootstrap support. These results suggested that one genome in tetraploid H. europaeus closely related to the genome in Hordeum species. Another genome in H. europaeus is sister to the genomes in Triticeae species examined here, which corresponds well with the recently published EF-G data. No obvious relationship was found between Hordelymus and either Ta genome donor, Taeniatherum caput-medusae or Ns genome donor, Psathyrostachys juncea. Our data does not support the presence of Ta and Ns genome in H. europaeus, and further confirms that H. europaeus is allopolyploid. 相似文献

At the present, no secreted phospholipase A2 (sPLA2) from soybean (Glycine max) was investigated in detail. In this work we identified five sequences of putative secreted sPLA2 from soybean after a BLAST search in G. max database. Sequence analysis showed a conserved PA2c domain bearing the Ca2+ binding loop and the active site motif. All the five mature proteins contain 12 cysteine residues, which are commonly conserved in plant sPLA2s. We propose a phylogenetic tree based on sequence alignment of reported plant sPLA2s including the novel enzymes from G. max. According to PLA2 superfamily, two of G. max sPLA2s are grouped as XIA and the rest of sequences as XIB, on the basis of differences found in their molecular weights and deviating sequences especially in the N- and C-terminal regions of the isoenzymes. Furthermore, we report the cloning, expression and purification of one of the putative isoenzyme denoted as GmsPLA2-XIA-1. We demonstrate that this mature sPLA2 of 114 residues had PLA2 activity on Triton:phospholipid mixed micelles and determine the kinetic parameters for this system. We generate a model based on the known crystal structure of sPLA2 from rice (isoform II), giving first insights into the three-dimensional structure of folded GmsPLA2-XIA-1. Besides describing the spatial arrangement of highly conserved pair HIS-49/ASP-50 and the Ca+2 loop domains, we propose the putative amino acids involved in the interfacial recognition surface. Additionally, molecular dynamics simulations indicate that calcium ion, besides its key function in the catalytic cycle, plays an important role in the overall stability of GmsPLA2-XIA-1 structure. 相似文献
