We reviewed the family Lycidae in Korea. The Korean Lycidae was recorded to fourteen species under eight genera until now. However, the taxonomy of Korean species was conducted without comparative analysis. We revised the Korean Lycidae to eleven species under seven genera of two subfamilies. Also, we provided the key to subfamilies, gernera, and species including illustrations of pronotum and aedeagus, the photos of adult habitus.  相似文献

The tribe Ulomini of Korean Tenebrionidae is reviewed taxonomically. Korean Ulomini recorded to three genera and six species, Cneocnemis laminipes Gebien, Uloma marseuli Nakane, U. latimanus Kolbe, U. excisa Nakane, U. bonzica Marseul, Eutochia lateralis (Boheman). We have found that U. exciza was misidentified U. bonzica, and E. lateralis was not distributed in Korea as the result of this study. We confirm that two genera and four species are distributed in Korea. A key to diagnosis of the genera and species, and figures of these species are presented.  相似文献

ABSTRACT We examined newly recorded species, Pseudoabsidia ussurica Wittmer, from Korea. The species was redescribed with their color variation. Also, the photos of adult habitus and aedeagus are provided.  相似文献

A taxonomic study of Hydroglyphus Motschulsky in Korea is presented. Four species are recognized including a new species, Hydroglyphus coreanus sp. nov. Hydroglyphus flammulatus (Sharp) is reported for the first time in the Korean peninsula and H. geminus (Fabricius) is a new addition to the South Korean fauna. Habitus and SEM photographs, distribution maps, and key to the Korean species are provided.  相似文献

ABSTRACT The tribe Tenebrionini of Korean Tenebronidae is reviewed taxonomically. Five species, Encyalesthus violaceipennis (Marseul), Menephilus lucens Marseul, Neatus ventralis (Marseul), Tenebrio molitor Linné, Tenebrio obscurus Fabricius, are recognized in Korea. A key to diagnosis of the genera and species, and figures of these species are presented.  相似文献

ABSTRACT ABSTRACT Myllocerus malignus Faust was described new to science from Korea in 1887. Since then, the species collected from Korea and Far-east Russia has been misidentified as Eumyllocerus gratiosus Sharp, E. filicornis (Reitter), or E. longulus Egorov et Zherikhin. A taxonomic review of Myllocerus malignus Faust (1887) with its synonymy and the clarification of sexual dimorphism is presented. As a results, Myllocerus viridiaureus Suvorov (1915) and Eumyllocerus longulus Egorov et Zherikhin (1990) are synonymized with Myllocerus malignus.  相似文献

A taxonomic note of the littoral Aleochara Gravenhorst species in Korea is presented. Five species are recognized from intertidal zone. Aleochara trisulcata Weise and A. fucicola Sharp are reported for the first time in Korea and southern Korea, respectively. A key, a checklist of Korean littoral Aleochara species, and drawings of median lobes and spermathecae are provided.  相似文献

A taxonomic study of the Korean Prostomidae is presented. Two species (Prostomis latoris Reitter, P. mordax Reitter) are recognized and P. mordax is reported for the first time in Korea. Comparison with type specimens was made. An illustration of the habitus and line drawings of diagnostic characters are provided.  相似文献

Two new species, Heteraphorura koreana sp. nov. and Psyllaphorura jirisana sp. nov., of the tribe Hymenaphorurini are described and illustrated based on materials from South Korea. Heteraphorura koreana sp. nov. belongs to the oriental species-group of the genus Heteraphorura, because of compound vesicles in the postantennal organ. This new species shares the same number of PAO with Heteraphorura pseudoseolagensis (Martynova, 1981) from Russia, but differs in pso dorsal formula and lateral teeth of claw. Psyllaphorura jirisana sp. nov. is similar to Psyllaphorura sensillifera.(Martynova, 1981) from the Russian Far East, but can be distinguished by shape of vesicles in PAO, dorsal s-chaetae on head and ratio AS/unguis. www.zoobank.org/urn:lsid:zoobank.org:pub:F854CBFD-06D0-4396-B8D9-62468B427111.  相似文献

The muricid species collected from 49 localities (72 sites) of Korean coast were examined. The Korean muricid fauna was recognized as 26 species of 15 genera in consequence of the present study along with the reviews of the previous records. Among the species examined, 5 of Mancinella echinata (Blainville, 1832), Morula spinosa (A. Adams, 1853), Boreotrophon paucicostatus Habe and Ito, 1965, Boreotrophon cymatus Dall, 1902, and Boreotrophon alaskanus Dall, 1902 were not reported in the Korean fauna previously. Korean muricids are suggested as subtropical, temporal, and boreal species distributed throughout the coastal areas of Korea with their own ranges.  相似文献

A taxonomic review of Korean Haliplidae Aubé is presented. Eight species in two genera are recognized, one of which (Haliplus diruptus Balfour‐Browne) is reported for the first time in South Korea. We also found that H. ovalis Sharp previously recorded in the Korean peninsula was an incorrect identification of H. chinensis Falkenström. Habitus and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) photographs, diagnoses of genera, additional characters of species and diagnostic characters with illustrations of the species are provided.  相似文献

A taxonomic study of the family Antedonidae is presented. The specimens were collected in the coastal seas of Korea from 1970 to 1994 and deposited in the Natural History Museum of Ewha Womans University. Four species, Heliometra glacialis maxima, Antedon serrata, Antedon parviflora and Andrometra psyche of the subfamilies Heliometrinae and Antedoninae were identified, of which 3 species, Antedon serrata, Antedon parviflora and Andrometra psyche in the subfamily Antedoninae are new to Korea. The subfamily Antedoninae is reported for the first time in Korea.  相似文献
