檀香幼苗半寄生性初步研究   总被引:4,自引:1,他引:3  
在不同寄主植物繁殖的基础上,研究了檀香(Santalum album L.)幼苗对寄主植物的半寄生性。檀香种子发芽及幼苗生长初期,并不需要寄主植物的参与,但随后的生长其根系必须寄生于适宜的寄主植物的根上。不同寄主植物对檀香幼苗的生长和吸器的发育影响不同,表现在根寄生吸器的数量、大小和结合的程度上。初步筛选了扶桑(Hibiscus rosa-sinensis)、烂头钵(Phyllanthus reticulatus)等优良的檀香幼苗寄主植物。檀香幼苗根系极不发达,细根缺乏根毛,但其导管非常发达,有利于从寄主根吸收养分和水分。此外还观察了檀香和寄主植物扶桑建立半寄生吸器的过程。  相似文献

为了解檀香吸器维管组织的发育过程,采用激光共聚焦显微镜、光学显微镜和透射电镜观察檀香吸器维管组织的个体发育。结果表明,檀香维管组织的分化分为两个时期:入侵前和入侵后。吸器维管组织发育始于盘状吸器时期,起源于吸器基部具有分生能力的细胞,后分为两束。侵入前无向顶的分化,处于吸器基部。侵入后随吸管深入寄主根与寄主根维管束连通,形成具有吸收功能的维管组织。成熟吸器维管组织呈倒烧瓶结构,仅处于吸器烧瓶核心两边,由木质部组成而无韧皮部。檀香的吸器维管组织发育有两个因素诱导,一个是遗传因素,另一个为寄主。这些为檀香半寄生性特性研究提供了形态解剖学基础。  相似文献

从新疆不同生态条件下生长的31属109种豆科植物根瘤分离获得373株根瘤菌,其中88株是从未报道过结瘤情况的39种豆科植物根瘤分离获得。它们与豆科寄主植物共生结瘤,95%以上为有效根瘤。不同种的根瘤固氮活性差异较大,黄芪属根瘤固氮活性较高,最高者为大豆根瘤固氮活性的42倍。 20属37种豆科植物根瘤中97%有吸氢活性。根瘤固氮活性、吸氢活性均与寄主植物生长发育期有相关性。  相似文献

铁皮石斛是我国濒临灭绝的珍贵中草药,关于种植铁皮石斛的系统技术研究还鲜见报道。本文研究了铁皮石斛苗期栽培基质的筛选、不同附主树种和种植高度、不同林分郁闭度对林下铁皮石斛附生生长的影响以及林下种植石斛对附主树种生长的影响等。结果表明:(1)综合瓶苗移栽成活率、株高、茎长、茎粗以及生物量等生长指标,铁皮石斛的苗期栽培的理想基质为等体积混合基质(松树皮+花生壳+马占相思树皮);(2)不同树种和附生部位对铁皮石斛的株高生长、茎粗、生物量等影响差异显著,但两者没有交互作用。附生60 d时,郁闭度大的杨桃最优,120 d开始,檀香迅速表现出绝对优势,各树种均为中部(1.2~1.5 m)最适附生,马占相思附生的石斛生物量最大。檀香、马占相思和降香黄檀的综合评价显著优于龙眼和杨桃;(3)铁皮石斛附树种植在林分郁闭度为30%~50%,光照入射强度为空地的62.5%左右对其生长最为有利;(4)附树种植铁皮石斛可以显著增加附主胸径。综合认为,在华南地区种植铁皮石斛,选择混合基质(松树皮+花生壳+马占相思树皮)为筛苗基质,附生林分郁闭度为30%~50%的檀香或降香黄檀树干中部是值得推广"以林养林"的复合经营模式。  相似文献

马占相思(Acacia mangium)是含羞草科(Mimosaceae)金合欢属(Acacia Mill.)树种,在我国的广东、广西、福建以及海南等省(区)大面积种植推广。马占相思用途广泛,其杂交育种工作近年来逐渐受到重视,马占相思花粉研究对其杂交育种成败具有重要影响。该研究以新鲜的马占相思花粉为供试材料,开展不同蔗糖浓度(50、100、150、200、250和300 g·L~(-1))、不同硼酸浓度(100、200和300 mg·L~(-1))以及不同培养温度(26、28和30℃)对马占相思花粉离体萌发影响的研究,同时使用筛选出的马占相思花粉离体萌发的最佳处理,开展对另外3株与初试的马占相思生长发育状况接近的马占相思的花粉活力检测研究,并观察记录马占相思花粉离体萌发特征。结果表明:将刚开放的马占相思花序采回室内阴干,于次日10:00后,用毛笔刷法成功收集大量马占相思花粉,经显微镜观察检测,花粉纯度较高,可以保证后续研究备用;马占相思花粉离体萌发的最佳处理为200 g·L~(-1)蔗糖、100 mg·L~(-1)硼酸、28℃培养温度;马占相思花粉在培养24 h之后,花粉萌发率最高(为94.28%),花粉管最长(为6.0 D);检测3株马占相思的花粉萌发率分别为90.11%、82.31%、85.67%,具有显著差异。该研究结果为今后进一步开展人工控制授粉、选育优良的相思杂交新品种提供了基础。  相似文献

在野外对日本菟丝子(Cuscuta japonica)选择寄主的行为进行观察,结果表明,在所研究的植物群落中,日本菟丝子在不同寄主上发生缠绕的数量多少、发生吸器时间的先后和缠绕比率的大小顺序为:枸树、蟛蜞菊、五爪金龙和马缨丹,而从缠绕发生至吸器发生期间日本菟丝子生长点伸长量的大小顺序则相反,且差异显著.日本菟丝子生长点在与聚氯乙烯塑料(PVC)棒接触后24 h内发生明显的偏离,而在接触不同寄主后12 h内则发生左旋3圈缠绕.多寄主共存的群落比单一寄主群落对日本菟丝子及其寄主的生存均有利.日本菟丝子选择寄主的行为与不同寄主N的含量关系不明显,推测这种选择行为与不同寄主次生物质的差异有关.  相似文献

土地退化和土壤恶化是我国干热河谷主要环境问题。树种筛选及树种与土壤关键限制因子间的相互作用是生态恢复的基础和前提。对比研究了干热河谷地区植被恢复22年间不同时期(1991、1997、2005和2013年)5种人工林(新银合欢Leucaena leucocephala,苏门答腊金合欢Albizia kalkora,大叶相思Acacia auriculiformis,印楝Azadirachta indica和赤桉Eucalyptus camaldulensis)和1种自然恢复样地中土壤主要物理、化学和微生物性质。结果表明植被恢复处理和取样时间对土壤性质有显著影响。在22a的植被恢复期内,土壤物理性质提高幅度为3.0%—20.2%,远不及土壤微生物和化学性质。通过自然恢复机制改良的退化土壤,其改良率(63.6%)高于印楝(54.9%)、苏门答腊金合欢(54.3%)和赤桉(53.2%)人工林,但改良率不及新银合欢(68.2%)和大叶相思(67.3%)人工林。研究得出造林树种类型决定干热河谷土壤改良进程。与自然恢复相比,人工植被恢复(如造林)并不一定能加速退化土壤改良。新银合欢和大叶相思适合作为改良干热河谷退化土壤的先锋树种,而生态系统自然恢复也可作为改良干热河谷退化土壤的一种适宜方式。  相似文献

吸器是寄生植物的特征器官,研究影响其发生的因素,有助于了解寄生关系的建立和调控过程。该研究以两种列当科(Orobanchaceae)根部半寄生植物甘肃马先蒿(Pedicularis kansuensis)和松蒿(Phtheirospermum japonicum)为材料,通过皿内培养试验,分析了蔗糖、DMBQ(2,6-二甲氧基-对-苯醌,一种高效的列当科根部半寄生植物吸器诱导化合物)和寄主植物诱导下两种根部半寄生植物吸器发生情况。结果表明:(1)蔗糖显著促进两种根部半寄生植物吸器发生,无寄主存在时,2%蔗糖处理使甘肃马先蒿和松蒿吸器发生率分别提高39.9%和20.2%。(2)蔗糖明显提升寄主植物对两种根部半寄生植物的吸器诱导水平,添加蔗糖后,寄主诱导的甘肃马先蒿单株吸器数和具木质桥的吸器比例分别增加5.7个/株和17.9%,松蒿吸器发生率和具木质桥的吸器比例分别提升76.7%和16.2%。(3)蔗糖对松蒿吸器发生的促进作用与已知吸器诱导化合物DMBQ相当,均能诱导50%以上的植株产生吸器。(4)培养基中添加4%蔗糖对两种根部半寄生植物的吸器诱导效果最好,其中甘肃马先蒿吸器发生率为56%...  相似文献

Omission of all nutrients or individual minerals (N, K, P, S,Ca) from the growth medium of pre-parasiticSantalum album seedlingsproduced significant morphological effects. Compared with fullyfertilized seedlings, shoot and root length, leaf area, leaflength and width, leaf number, internode length, shoot length/rootlength ratio, chlorophyll levels, fresh mass and dry mass wereall reduced; leaf thickness increased and stomatal numbers,petiole lengths, root lengths and haustorial numbers showedvariable but significant responses. Mineral-specific deficiencysymptoms were evident in all omission treatments after 3 months.Treatments in which N, K or all minerals were omitted had thegreatest dwarfing effect and increase in height and leaf numberceased after 3 months: only seedlings with no added nutrients(dependent on kernel nutrition) were healthy. The mineral contentof no-nutrient seedlings approximated that in kernels. The distributionof minerals between plant parts for each treatment is given.K concentrations and K/Ca ratios were relatively high in leavesof seedlings which received treatments containing K, especiallywhen Ca was absent. A high K/Ca ratio may be inherent inS. albumseedlings rather than acquired after subsequent host connection.All fully fertilized seedlings developed haustoria within 3months suggesting readiness for early host attachment. Seedlingsin no-nutrient, no-N, no-K or no-P treatments had fewer haustoria. 为了解橄榄[Canarium album(Loureiro)Raeuschel]花序表型性状的遗传多样性,对90份橄榄种质资源的花序性状进行观测分析。结果表明,橄榄花序的类型、支轴紧密度、着生位置和花性等表现出较丰富的多样性;从数量性状看,花序花朵数的变异系数最大,其次为支轴花朵数,变异系数最小的是花蕾直径,此外橄榄雄花花序的多样性较雌花丰富。花蕾直径与花瓣长度呈极显著正相关关系,与花序长度、花序支轴数、花序花朵数和支轴花朵数呈极显著负相关。聚类分析结果表明,橄榄种质资源的花序类型可分为3类,大部分雄花和雌花类群间差异较明显。因此,橄榄花序表型性状存在多样性和复杂性,且花序重要单一性状可能影响整体表型。  相似文献

Parasitic plants use host molecules to trigger developmental programs essential for parasitism. One such program governs the initiation, development, and function of haustoria, parasite-specific organs responsible for attachment and invasion of host tissues. Haustoria development can be initiated by several different molecules produced by appropriate host species. We are interested in understanding how these signals are interpreted by two related facultative parasites, Triphysaria eriantha (Benth.) Chuang and Heckard, and T. versicolor Fischer and C. Meyer, to distinguish their own roots from those of potential hosts. We used an in vitro bioassay to determine what proportion of different Triphysaria populations formed haustoria in the presence and absence of closely related and unrelated host species. We found that the proportion of plants with haustoria was the same whether the plants were grown in isolation or with a conspecific host. In contrast, a significantly higher proportion of plants made haustoria when the host was a congeneric Triphysaria. Plants with haustoria neither enhanced nor inhibited other plants' propensity to form haustoria. Together these results indicate that qualitative differences exist in haustorium-inducing factors exuded by closely related species. The highest proportion of Triphysaria had haustoria when grown with Arabidopsis thaliana (L.) Heynh. Even in this case, however, some Triphysaria failed to develop haustoria. Interestingly, the percentage of haustoria that had vessel elements was higher when connections were made with Arabidopsis than with another Triphysaria. For insects that develop inside discrete hosts, both host size and host quality constrain offspring growth, influencing the evolution of body size and life history traits. Using a two-generation common garden experiment, we quantified the contribution of maternal and rearing hosts to differences in growth and life history traits between populations of the seed-feeding beetle Stator limbatus that use a large-seeded host, Acacia greggii, and a small-seeded host, Pseudosamanea guachapele. Populations differed genetically for all traits when beetles were raised in a common garden. Contrary to expectations from the local adaptation hypothesis, beetles from all populations were larger, developed faster and had higher survivorship when reared on seeds of A. greggii (the larger host), irrespective of their native host. We observed two host plant-mediated maternal effects: offspring matured sooner, regardless of their rearing host, when their mothers were reared on P. guachapele (this was not caused by an effect of rearing host on egg size), and females laid larger eggs on P. guachapele. This is the first study to document plasticity by S. limbatus in response to P. guachapele, suggesting that plasticity is an ancestral trait in S. limbatus that likely plays an important role in diet expansion. Although differences between populations in growth and life history traits are likely adaptations to their host plants, host-associated maternal effects, partly mediated by maternal egg size plasticity, influence growth and life history traits and likely play an important role in the evolution of the breadth of S. limbatus’ diet. More generally, phenotypic plasticity mediates the fitness consequences of using novel hosts, likely facilitating colonization of new hosts, but also buffering herbivores from selection post-colonization. Plasticity in response to novel versus normal hosts varied among our study populations such that disentangling the historical role of plasticity in mediating diet evolution requires the consideration of evolutionary history.  相似文献

For tenBlandfordia grandiflora populations spanning about 90% of the species' range, univariate and multivariate analyses on 14 vegetative and reproductive characters separated plants into distinct coastal and tableland groups. Distinguishing characters were number of flowers and leaves, leaf length and width, and inflorescence stalk height and diameter; coastal plants were larger than tableland plants. In a transplant experiment, coastal and tableland plants retained their phenotypic distinctness, indicating that vegetative morphology was genetically determined. Coastal plants exhibited clinal variation with latitude. Compared to tableland plants, coastal plants had higher pollen: ovule ratios, and produced fewer but heavier seeds per flower. Tableland and coastal plants are phenotypically distinct, indicating that separate subspecific status is warranted.  相似文献

Allozymes and morphological characters were used to test whether host race evolution—the genetic divergence of parasitic populations caused by adaptation to different host species—has occurred in desert mistletoe,Phoradendron californicum. Populations ofPhoradendron californicum from two hosts,Acacia greggii andProsopis glandulosa, were surveyed from the Mojave and Colorado deserts. Electrophoretic data indicated genetic differentiation of mistletoes occurring on these hosts. Three of four morphological characters (internode length, main shoot lateral shoot diameter ratio and berry color) also showed significant host-specific differentiation. These data support the hypothesis that host race formation has occurred or is occurring in this parasitic angiosperm.  相似文献

该研究以自然分布的内蒙、宁夏、甘肃、新疆、陕西等23个不同地理来源(种源)的野生苦豆子种子及其播种于内蒙古鄂托克前旗同质园内的当年生植株为材料,采用方差分析、主成分分析、聚类分析等方法对种子长、宽、千粒重以及植株的叶长、叶宽、叶面积、叶形指数、苗高、地径及生物量等10个表型性状的多样性进行了研究。结果表明:各个表型性状种源间均呈极显著差异,其中种子表型性状的变异系数为5.24%,植株表型性状的变异系数为18.34%,表明种子性状的稳定性高于植株性状。同时,10个性状的表型分化系数均高于70%,说明苦豆子表型多样性主要来源于种源间的表型变异;各种源苦豆子种子性状的表型分化系数均值高达97.55%,且种长、千粒重分别与采集地经度、纬度和海拔等环境因子呈极显著相关性,说明种子表型性状受环境因素的影响较大;相关性分析显示,苦豆子植株性状叶长(LL)、叶面积(LA)分别与种子性状千粒重(TW)、种长(SL)和种宽(SW)有显著相关性,暗示表型性状中的可遗传变异影响;利用主成分和聚类分析对23个种源苦豆子进行综合评价,筛选出生物量较大、苗高较高、千粒重较重、叶面积较大等综合表现较好的6个种源,共分为两类,分别是DK、JY、WY、WH、ETK和YN,这为苦豆子种质资源定向开发以及选育和栽培提供了一定的理论支撑和基础材料。  相似文献

Colony development of Erysiphe graminis f.sp. avenae race 2 was studied on detached leaf segments of a range of Avena hosts with different levels of resistance, none of which possesses known specific gene resistance to this race. Resistance affected the length attained by mature primary haustoria, and also colony size as assessed by numbers of haustoria and conidiophores produced per colony 5 days after inoculation. A more accurate assessment of the size of mature haustoria was provided by the total length of their digitate processes. At the primary haustorium stage resistance affected not only haustorial size, but also haustorial efficiency measured as colony growth per unit size. Adult plant resistance of some hosts decreased haustorial size and/or efficiency in colonies on the fifth in comparison with the first formed leaf.  相似文献

We estimated the magnitude of the total leaf area of the neotropical palm Euterpe oleracea and examined its allometry relative to the variation in stem height and diameter at La Selva Biological Station in Costa Rica. The allometric relationships between frond leaf area and frond length (from tip to base), and between frond leaf area and number of leaflets, were determined by natural logarithmic regressions to estimate the total area of each frond. Palm total leaf area was then estimated by adding the area of the composing fronds. We fit 14 separate regression models that related one or more of the morphological variables (number of fronds, diameter at breast height, stem height) to the total leaf area. Our results show that palm total leaf area is directly proportional to the number of fronds and palm size as reflected in stem height and diameter. Eight out of the 14 models had r 2 values of >0.90 and incorporated a diverse combination of predictor variables. Simple linear regression models were more congruent with the observed values of total leaf area, whereas natural logarithmic models overestimated the value of total leaf area for large palms. Both approaches show a high degree of association among morphological characters in E. oleracea supporting the hypothesis that palms behave like unitary organisms, and are morphologically constrained by the lack of secondary meristems. To afford attaining canopy heights, woody palms need to show a high degree of phenotypic integration, shaping their growth and allometric relationships to match spatial and temporal changes in resources.  相似文献
