Fatty acid chlorohydrins are characterized as lipid components of an edible jellyfish. The four isomers 9-chloro-10-hydroxypalmitic acid, 10-chloro-9-hydroxypalmitic acid, 9-chloro-10-hydroxystearic acid, and 10-chloro-9-hydroxystearic acid were identified by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry comparison of the methyl esters and their trimethylsilyl derivatives with known synthetic samples. Two additional isomers, 11-chloro-12-hydroxystearic acid and 12-chloro-11-hydroxystearic acid, were also found in the lipid by the identification of the expected mass spectral fragments of the trimethylsilyl (Me3Si) derivative of their methyl esters. These six isomeric compounds represented approximately 1.4% of the total extractable jellyfish lipid and were released from the lipid as methyl esters by boron trifluoride-methanol treatment. These isomers account for only about 30% of the organic chlorine in the lipid. Evidence is given that the remaining organic chlorine is also present as fatty acid chlorohydrins containing more than one hydroxyl group.  相似文献

利用微生物发酵无花果开发特色香料,并采用同时蒸馏萃取装置收集挥发性成分并用气相色谱一质谱仪对生物技术制备的无花果香料挥发性成分进行分离和鉴定,经毛细管色谱分离出47种组分,确认了其中的45种成分,并用面积归一化法测定了各种成分的百分含量,其主要成分为:9,12-十八碳二烯酸乙酯(27.34%)、十六酸乙酯(23.99%)、邻苯二甲酸二丁酯(6.18%)、邻苯二甲酸二异丁酯(5.52%)、9,12-十八碳二烯酸甲酯(4.72%)、十六酸甲酯(4.67%)、9,12,15-十八碳三烯酸乙酯(4.48%)、9-十八碳烯酸乙酯(3.80%)、糠醛(2.53%)、9,12,15-十八碳三烯酸甲酯(1.85%)、十八酸乙酯(1.42%)、9-十八碳烯酸甲酯(1.26%)等。  相似文献

Abstract  The chemical factors influencing the selection of oviposition site by gravid females of various mosquito species have been the subject of numerous investigations. Recent studies have revealed this behaviour to be controlled by semiochemicals. Here we report studies on semiochemicals of egg origin and their effect on the ovipositional behaviour of Aedes aegypti. The compounds present in egg extracts of Ae. aegypti mosquitoes were isolated and identified by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. They were then evaluated for their effect on ovipositional behaviour against gravid females of Ae. aegypti mosquitoes at different concentrations. Gravid female Ae. aegypti were found to be sensitive to all the identified compounds: 6-hexanolactone, methyl dodecanoate, dodecanoic acid, methyl tetradecanoate, tetradecanoic acid, methyl (Z)-9-hexadecenoate, methyl hexadecanoate (Z)-9-hexadecenoic acid, hexadecanoic acid, methyl (Z)-9-octadecenoate, methyl octadecanoate (Z)-9-octadecenoic acid and octadecanoic acid. Among them, dodecanoic and (Z)-9-hexadecenoic acids showed significant positive ovipositional response at different concentrations whereas all the esters showed deterrent/repellent ovipositional effect.  相似文献

Methyl octadec-11Z-en-9-ynoate (1) was epoxidized to give methyl 11,12-Z-epoxy-octadec-9-ynoate (2, 81%). Acid catalyzed ring opening of the epoxy ring of compound 2 gave methyl 11,12-dihydroxy-octadec-9-ynoate (3, 80%). The latter was treated with mesyl chloride to yield methyl 11,12-dimesyloxy-octadec-9-ynoate (4, 76%). Reaction of compound 4 with sodium azide furnished methyl 11-azido-12-mesyloxy-octadec-9-ynoate (5a, 49%) and methyl 11-azido-octadec-11E-en-9-ynoate (5b, 24%). Compound 2 was semi-hydrogenated over Lindlar catalyst to give methyl 11,12-Z-epoxy-octadec-9Z-enoate (6, 90%). This allylic epoxy fatty ester (6) was reacted with sodium azide to give a mixture of methyl 11-azido-12-hydroxy-octadec-9Z-enoate (7a) and methyl 9-azido-12-hydroxy-octadec-9E-enoate (7b), which could not be separated into individual components by silica chromatography. Chromic acid oxidation of the mixture of compounds 7a and 7b furnished methyl 9-azido-12-oxo-octadec-10E-enoate (8, 42% based on amount of compound 6 used) and an intractable mixture of polar compounds. The various products were characterized by NMR spectroscopic and mass spectral analyses.  相似文献

Three known and two new diterpenes were isolated from the ethyl acetate extract of Hymenaea courbaril var. stilbocarpa seed pods. One of the compounds was elucidated as (5R*,8S*,9S*,10R*)-cleroda-3,13E-dien-15-oic acid and the other was elucidated, after treatment with diazomethane, as methyl (5S*,8S*,9S*,10R*)-cleroda-3,13E-dien-15-oate. The known diterpenes were identified as (-)-ozic acid, (-)-isoozic acid and (-)-kovalenic acid which were characterized as their methyl ester derivatives.  相似文献

Esters of 2-hydroxy-4-methoxy-6-n-pentylbenzoic acid (2-8) (methyl, ethyl, butyl, pentyl, isopropyl, sec-butyl and benzyl), olivetol (9), methyl, ethyl, butyl perlatolates (10-12), 2,4-dihydroxy-6-n-pentylbenzoic acid (15), and methyl and ethyl esters of (15) were prepared through structural modifications of perlatolic acid (1) with the aim to detect new antifungal and antibacterial substances and also to evaluate the toxicity by the brine shrimp lethality assay against Artemia salina. The antifungal assays were carried out against the fungus Cladosporium sphaerospermum through the bioautography method, and methyl 2,4-dihydroxy-6-n-pentylbenzoate (13) showed the highest antifungal activity (2.5 yg). Olivetol (9) and 2,4-dihydroxy-6-n-pentylbenzoic acid (15) are also potent inhibitors of the growth of the fungus (5.0 microg). Except for methyl (10), the ethyl (11) and butyl (12) perlatolates were less active than perlatolic acid (1). The activities presented by methyl (2) and ethyl (3) 2-hydroxy-4-methoxy-6-n-pentylbenzoates and methyl (13) and ethyl (14) 2,4-dihydroxy-6-n-pentylbenzo-ates suggest that compounds with a free hydroxy group in the aromatic ring (C-4) have a more pronounced effect against C. sphaerospermum. Antibacterial activities were tested by the disc diffusion method using pathogenic strains of S. aureus and E. coli. The compounds were weakly active with inhibition zones between 9-15 mm. The 2-hydroxy-4-methoxy-6-n-pentylbenzoic esters 2-8 and alkyl perlatolates 10-12 were selective against E. coli. Perlatolic acid (1) and methyl 2-hydroxy-4-methoxy-6-n-pentylbenzoate (2) were the most active with LD50 values of 24.1 microM and 27.2 microM, respectively. The other compounds were not toxic to Artemia salina larvae.  相似文献

The saturated long chain fatty acid methyl esters of the triglyceride fraction of Polytrichum commune spores were separated by silver nitrate TLC and identified by a combination of gas chromatographic-mass spectrometric technique. The saturated fatty acid methyl esters were straight-chained, and even-numbered with carbon numbers ranging from 12 to 26 or odd-numbered with carbon numbers ranging from 13 to 25. The major components of the fraction containing saturated fatty acid methyl esters were methyl palmitate and methyl stearate. The fatty acid methyl esters of the monoenoic fraction isolated by silver nitrate TLC were converted to TMSO derivates which were analysed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. The analysis gave evidence of positional isomers. The fraction contained the following straight chain monoenoic fatty acid methyl ester isomers: methyl 7-cis-hexadecenoate, methyl 9-cis-hexadecenoate, methyl 9-cis-heptadecenoate, methyl 9-cis-octadecenoate, methyl 11-cis-octadecenoate, and methyl 11-cis-eicosenoate. The major components were methyl 9-cis-octadecenoate and methyl 7-cis-hexadecenoate.  相似文献

O-methyltransferases (OMTs) catalyze the transfer of a methyl group from S-adenosine-L-methionine to a hydroxyl group of an acceptor molecule to form methyl ether derivatives and can modify the basic backbone of a secondary metabolite. A new O-methyltransferase, SOMT-9, was cloned from Glycine max and found to encode a protein whose molecular weight is 27-kDa. SOMT-9 was expressed as a GST-fusion protein in Escherichia coli and several compounds such as caffeic acid, esculetin, narigenin, kaempferol, quercetin, and luteolin were tested as putative substrates of SOMT-9. HPLC and NMR results showed that SOMT-9 transfers a methyl group to the 3'-OH group of substrates having ortho-hydroxyl groups. SOMT-9 showed the highest affinity for quercetin, suggesting that SOMT-9 uses a flavonoid as a substrate. Based on its molecular weight and substrate specificity, SOMT-9 belongs to a new class of OMT and is likely to be involved in the biosynthesis of isorhamnetin.  相似文献

The 220 MHz PMR spectra of 143 non-conjugated alkenoic and alkynoic acids and esters are correlated so as to provide a method for the structural analysis of such compounds in general. The spectral data are explained in terms of long-range deshielding of the double bonds, triple bonds, acid and ester groups in the molecules, and parameters are derived to quantify the influence of these groups on the chemical shifts of methyl and methylene protons up to six carbon atoms distant along an alkyl chain. It is shown that, by the application of these parameters, 220 MHz PMR spectroscopy can be used to determine both the stereochemistry and position of double bonds, and the position of triple bonds, in the majority of fatty acids and esters. The 2- to 9- and 13- to 17-cis- and trans-isomers of octadecenoic acid may be readily idenfited in this way, whilst for the octadecynoic acids all positional isomers may be characterized. Examples are also given of the structural analysis of several polyenoic compounds, including methyl cis-5, cis-8, cis-11, cis-14, cis-5, cis-8, cis-11, trans-14, and trans-5, cis-8, cis-11, cis-14-eicosatetraenoates, and methyl trans-5, cis-9, cis-12-octadecatrienoate.  相似文献

The chemical composition of fatty acid methyl esters (FAMEs) from seeds of S. thymbra and S. cuneifolia were analyzed by GC/MS. 7 FAMEs were identified from the seeds of S. thymbra mainly as 9-octadecenoic acid methyl ester (43.9%), hexadecanoic acid methyl ester (11.4%), 9,12,15-octadecatrienoic acid methyl ester (Z,Z,Z) (30.2%), and octadecanoic acid methyl ester (14.1%), while from the seed of S. cuneifolia 10 FAMEs were obtained with the main components, similar to S. thymbra. These were identified as 9-octadecenoic acid methyl ester (10.1%), hexadecanoic acid methyl ester (methyl palmitate, 34.6%), 9,12,15-octadecatrienoic acid methyl ester (Z,Z,Z) (6.3%) and octadecanoic acid methyl ester (1.8%).  相似文献

A new phenol compound, (9S)-9-hydroxy-9-[(2-hydroxyphenyl)methoxy]-nonanoic acid methyl ester (1) was isolated from the stem bark of Alnus mandshurica (Callier) Hand.-Mazz., along with eight known compounds (29). The structure of compound 1 was determined by spectral analyses, including HR-ESI-MS, 1D and 2D NMR (COSY, HMQC and HMBC) experiments. All the isolated compounds were reported for first time from A. mandshurica. Furthermore, compounds 39 were found in the family Betulaceae for the first time.  相似文献

Five phenolic compounds, 4-hydroxybenzoic acid methyl ester (1), vanillic acid methyl ester (2), 4-hydroxy benzaldehyde (3), 4-hydroxybenzoic acid (4) and ferulic acid (5), and four flavonoids, 5,5'-dihydroxy-4',6,7-trimethoxyflavanone (6), luteolin (7), vitexicarpin (8) and artemetin (9), were isolated from fruits and leaves of Vitex rotundifolia L. Coupling of methyl 16-aminomethyllambertianate with N-Boc-protected ω-amino acids resulted in 16-(N-Boc-aminononan)- and 16-(N-Boc-aminoundecan)amidomethyllabdanoids. Interaction of methyl aminomethyllambertianate with bicyclo[2.2.1]hept-5-en-2,3-dicarboxylic acid anhydride led to the amide of bicyclo[2.2.1]heptan-1,2-dicarboxylic acid with a labdanoid substituent. Reaction of methyl 16-aminomethyllambertianate with chloroacetyl chloride resulted in methyl 16-(chloroacetylaminomethyl)lambertianate; coupling of the latter with methyl esters of amino acids gave the corresponding amides of methyl lambertianate. The compounds obtained were more cytotoxic toward CEM-13, MT-4, and U-937 tumor cell lines as compared with lambertianic acid; the dose inhibiting tumor cell viability by 50% (CCID50) of the more active compounds was 3.9–9.9 μM.  相似文献

Eleven transposon mutant strains affected in bile acid catabolism were each found to form yellow, muconic-like intermediates from bile acids. To characterize these unstable intermediates, media from the growth of one of these mutants with deoxycholic acid was treated with ammonia, then the crude product was methylated with diazomethane. Four compounds were subsequently isolated; spectral evidence suggested that they were methyl 12 alpha-hydroxy-3-oxo-23,24-dinorchola-1,4-dien-22-oate, methyl 4-aza-12 beta-hydroxy-9(10)-secoandrosta-1,3,5-triene-9,17-dione-3-carboxyl ate, 4-aza-9 alpha, 12 beta-dihydroxy-9(10)-secoandrosta-1,3,5-trien-17-one-3- methyl carboxylate and 4 alpha-[3'-propionic acid]-5-amino-7 beta-hydroxy-7 alpha beta-methyl- 3a alpha, 4,7,7a-tetrahydro-1-indanone-delta-lactam. It is proposed that the mutants are blocked in the utilization of such muconic-like compounds as the 3,12 beta-dihydroxy-5,9,17-trioxo-4(5),9(10)- disecoandrostal (10),2-dien-4-oic acid formed from deoxycholic acid. A further mutant was examined, which converted deoxycholic acid to 12 alpha-hydroxyandrosta-1,4-dien-3,17-dione, but accumulated yellow products from steroids which lacked a 12 alpha-hydroxy function, such as chenodeoxycholic acid. The products from the latter acid were treated as above; spectral evidence suggested that the two compounds isolated were methyl 4-aza-7-hydroxy-9(10)-secoandrosta-1,3,5- triene-9,17-dione-3-carboxylate and 4 alpha-[1'alpha-hydroxy-3'-propionic acid]-5-amino-7a beta-methyl-3a alpha,4,7,7a-tetrahydro-1-indanone-delta-lactam.  相似文献

10-Methyl-acridinium-9-(N-sulphonylcarboxamide) salts are prepared via acylation of sulphonamides with acridine-9-carboxylic acid chloride and subsequent N-alkylation with methyl triflate. Substituents on the sulphonamide component were varied to show the effect of steric and electronic factors on the kinetics of light output. The lifetime of the chemiluminescence light output ranged from 1 to 50 seconds for the 15 compounds reported. The long-term stability of the new compounds was superior to the phenyl ester counterparts.  相似文献

The basic fragmentation mechanism of methyl(methyl 4-deoxy-2,3-di-O-methyl-β-l-threo-hex-4-enopyranosid)uronate has been deduced by deuteromethylation analysis, metastable transition measurements, and by interpreting the spectra of weakly excited foregoing molecules. The differences in fragmentation of partially methylated derivatives of methyl 4-deoxy-β-l-threo-hex-4-enopyranosiduronic acid compared to that of the fully methylated substance are discussed in detail and the criteria are proposed for identification of the compounds concerned by mass spectrometry.  相似文献

The microbial catabolism of deoxycholic acid by a Pseudomonas species was studied, and three acidic products were isolated as their methyl esters. Evidence is presented that the compounds are methyl 3 alpha,12 alpha-dihydroxy-23,24-dinor-5 beta-cholan-22-oate, methyl 12 alpha-hydroxy-3-oxo-5 beta-cholan-24-oate and methyl 12 alpha-hydroxy-3-oxo-23,24-dinor-5 beta-cholan-22-oate.  相似文献
