The aim of this study was to evaluate the potential of a compound diet as a live prey substitute for feeding European sea bass larvae ( Dicentrarchus labrax L.). The effect of a commercial diet (Nippai ML feed) and live prey ( Artemia nauplii) on tryptic enzyme activity, protein content, growth (standard length) and survival rates of sea bass larvae were tested during a 27-day rearing experiment. Sea bass larvae were divided into two groups. The live food group (control group) was fed exclusively on newly hatched Artemia nauplii (Inve AF grade), the test group was fed exclusively with the compound diet from day 15 onwards. As trypsin has been demonstrated to be a useful indicator for evaluating digestibility of food and the nutritional condition of fish larvae, individual tryptic enzyme activity was determined in both feeding groups. Larvae older than 14 days after hatching and fed on live food showed a significantly higher tryptic enzyme activity than larvae fed the compound diet. A similar relationship between tryptic activity and standard length in both test groups was detected only in small larvae (standard length < 7 mm). The usefulness of proteolytic enzyme activity measurements in larval fish research, as well as its use in aquaculture nutrition research, was confirmed. Protein content, increase in length and survival rates of the sea bass larvae were additionally determined in order to evaluate an influence on the diet. The protein content of larvae fed the Artemia nauplii was higher and the growth of larvae fed the compound diet was reduced. Larval mortality was not affected by the diet given.  相似文献

The effects of wide changes in dietary levels of docosahexaenoic (DHA) or arachidonic (ArA) acids on growth, survival and fatty acid composition in body tissues of Morone larvae were examined. White bass (WB, Morone chrysops), striped bass (SB, Morone saxatilis) and sunshine hybrid bass (HSB, M. chrysopsxM. saxatilis) larvae (day 24-46) were fed Artemia nauplii enriched with algal sources of varying proportions of DHA and ArA (from 0 to over 20% of total fatty acids). WB larvae fed DHA-deficient Artemia diet retarded over 50% of their potential growth, however, increasing dietary DHA/ArA ratios were associated with a significant growth improvement. The highest proportion of polyunsaturated fatty acids was found in WB neural tissue (approx. 50% of total fatty acids), while HSB neural tissue contained the highest proportion of saturated fatty acids (approx. 35% of total fatty acids). Within the neural tissues of all Morone larvae, both DHA and ArA were generally the most dominant as well as the most responding fatty acids to dietary manipulations (except in WB fed DHA or ArA deficient diets). HSB neural tissue was particularly efficient in retaining a significant amount of DHA in the face of dietary deficiency. However, WB neural tissue was the most responsive to dietary increase in DHA, accumulating a significantly higher amount of DHA (P<0.05) than SB or HSB. Results demonstrate significant differences in fatty acid composition and growth responsiveness to dietary manipulations between Morone larvae species and within specific tissues. WB weight gain and neural tissue composition was affected most by dietary changes in both DHA and ArA whereas SB and HSB tissue compositions were generally less affected by dietary manipulations.  相似文献

Sulphur amino acid requirement of juvenile Asian sea bass Lates calcarifer   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
The dietary requirement of juvenile Asian sea bass Lates calcarifer Bloch for total sulphur amino acids was studied. Fish (average initial weight of 2.59 ± 0.08 g) were reared in twelve 500 L fibreglass tanks provided with flow-through seawater at 26°C and salinity of 31 p.p.t. for 12 weeks. They were fed semi-purified test diets containing 6.2, 7.2, 8.1, 9.0, 10.8, or 12.6 g methionine kg−1 dry diet and a basal level of 3.1 g cystine kg−1 dry diet. The mean crude protein of the diets (containing defatted Peruvian fishmeal, squid meal, soybean meal, and free amino acid mixture to simulate the pattern of hydrolysed sea bass protein) was 46.02%. The crude fat content of the diets was 10.51% from a 1 : 1 mixture of cod liver oil and soybean oil. Survival was 100% in all treatments. On the basis of the growth response, the total sulphur amino acid requirement of juvenile Asian sea bass was estimated to be 13.4 g kg−1 dry diet (2.9% of protein). Fish fed low levels of l -methionine had significantly lower weight gains and feed efficiency ratios as well as slightly higher hepatosomatic indices. No nutritional deficiency signs were observed other than growth depression in fish fed on diets that were low in methionine. This information is valuable in further refinement of formulations of practical diets for the Asian sea bass.  相似文献

Effect of different dietary squilla chitosan (Csq) concentrations: 0 (control), 0.5, 1 and 2 g 100 g–1 diets were studied for weaned sea bass (Dicentrarchus labrax) post larvae. Post larvae were challenged with Aeromonas hydrophila after 5 feeding days, in order to monitor the prophylactic effect on the Csq fed larvae. The experiment started with an average initial weight of 50 ± 2 mg and total length of 12 ± 2 mm for post larval stage (40 days post hatch; dph), then continued feeding diets for a period of 20 days. Larvae survival percentage (%), mean total length (TL), width (W), total weight (TW), total weight gain (TWG), average daily weight (ADW) and specific growth rate (SGR) were recorded as morphometric measurements representing growth compared to the control groups. The results revealed that 1g Csq 100 g–1 diet at P < 0.05 was the most effective concentration that achieved higher survival percentages; 94.5 ± 0.5 and 74 ± 2.0%, increasing the specific growth rate by 7.22% and 5.77% for non challenged and challenged weaned larval groups, respectively. Otherwise, the control challenged group displayed the lowest performance in all assayed parameters with the coincidental decrease in the survival % and specific growth rates. Similarly, lower growth performance was also observed at 2 g 100 g–1 diet. Thus, the incorporation of chitosan at a level of 1g in fish diet enhanced the performance and reduced the fish mortality under stress conditions.  相似文献

Two hundred and forty piglets were used in a 2 x 6 factorial experiment to study the effects of weaning age (26 or 36 d) and four formic acid-based feed additives on the performance of pigs from weaning to slaughter. Either formic acid (F) or a mixture of formic acid, propionic acid, and potassium sorbate (FPS) or a mixture of formic acid, propionic acid, and sodium benzoate (FPB) or formic acid in a diatomaceous earth carrier (FD) were added to the diets of weaned piglets (from weaning to 60 d of age) and growing (18-46 kg) and finishing pigs (46-107 kg) to provide 8, 6, and 6 g acid per kg feed, respectively. The negative control treatment's (C) diets contained no growth promoters, whereas the positive control treatment's weaner and grower diets were supplemented with 40 mg/kg of avilamycin (A). The piglets weaned at the age of 26 and 36 d weighed 7.6 and 10.7 kg at weaning (p < 0.001), and 18.5 and 17.9 kg at the age of 60 d (p > 0.05), respectively. There was a weaning age x feed additive interaction in the weight gain of piglets after weaning (p < 0.05). The weight gain of piglets weaned on day 26 was enhanced by A, FPS, and FD (p < 0.05), and that of piglets weaned on day 36 by A and FPB (p < 0.05). The feed conversion ratio was not affected by weaning ages but was decreased in groups A, F, FBS, and FPB (p < 0.05). The severity of post-weaning diarrhoea was less in groups A, F, FPS, and FD than in C (p < 0.05). In piglets weaned on day 26, faecal water content and the total Escherichia coli count were highest 9 d after weaning. The total E. coli count was reduced only by FD (p < 0.05). Increased faecal water content was characterized by increased faecal Na+ and decreased K+ concentrations. Weaning age did not influence performance or carcass quality in the growing-finishing pigs. Feed additives did not affect weight gain in the growing pigs, but FPS and FPB enhanced weight gain during finishing period and total fattening (p < 0.05). In summary, the pigs' growth performance from weaning to slaughter was not affected by weaning age but it was enhanced by mixtures of formic and propionic acids with small amounts of sorbate or benzoate.  相似文献

This study investigated the biological effects of various dietary essential fatty acids levels to sea scallop larvae, Placopecten magellanicus. Scallop larvae were fed three diets from D-veliger to settlement. Diet A consisted of Isochrysis sp. and Pavlova lutheri, diet B was a mix of Isochrysis sp. and Chaetoceros muelleri and diet C consisted of the same two species, but C. muelleri was grown under silicate deprivation to alter the fatty acid composition. Pediveligers (28 days old) were sampled prior to settlement for fatty acid analysis, growth measurement and survival assessment. Survival and settlement success were measured at the end of the experiment (day 40). Our results show that feeding regime greatly influenced larval size, settlement and fatty acid composition. Diet A was severely deficient in arachidonic acid (20:4n-6, AA), leading to the poorest larval growth, survival and lipid content. Nevertheless, larvae fed diet A selectively accumulate AA by a factor three compared to the dietary amount. Shell size of 28-day-old larvae was positively correlated with AA content and negatively correlated with eicosapentaenoic acid (20:5n-3, EPA)-AA ratio, thus suggesting that these two variables are of major interest for the optimisation of larval growth in sea scallops. Finally, larvae fed diet C displayed 20% higher shell size at day 28 than larvae fed diet A and B, likely in relation to the dietary amount of saturated fatty acid (SFA). However, the moderate survival and settlement success of these groups of larvae might be associated with a relative deficiency in docosahexaenoic acid (22:6n-3, DHA). This study underlines that the overall balance between polyunsaturated fatty acid (PUFA) needs to be considered to adequately fed sea scallop larvae.  相似文献

Improvements were made in the meridic larval diet for Sitophilus oryzae by replacing the minerals and vitamins supplied by dietary brewer's yeast and wheat germ with mineral and vitamin mixtures. The effects of different concentrations of individual vitamins were studied with the improved diet containing 20% casein. In later tests the dietary casein was replaced with a mixture of 15 amino acids. The results indicated that these larvae, which contain an associated bacteria-like micro-organism, required thiamine, nicotinic acid, pyridoxine, folic acid, and biotin in the diet. No requirement for riboflavin or pantothenic acid could be demonstrated on either the 20% casein diet or the amino acid diet possibly due to contamination of the cornstarch with these two vitamins. In addition, the larvae did not require choline or inositol for the growth of one larval generation.The asymbiotic larvae of S. granarius failed to develop on the improved casein diet indirectly implicating the symbiotes in a nutritional rôle; however, the symbiotes present in S. oryzae apparently do not provide B vitamins. Larvae of S. oryzae failed to develop when the concentration of casein was reduced to 10% while growth was maintained with a 10% concentration of the amino acid mixture. Casein is not an optimal source of amino acids for this species.  相似文献

Two experiments were conducted to evaluate the effects of a novel synthetic emulsifier product (AVI-MUL TOP) on the growth performance of chickens for fattening and weaned piglets. The emulsifier product consists of 50% vegetal bi-distillated oleic acid emulsified with 50% glyceryl polyethyleneglycol ricinoleate. In experiment 1, 480 1-day-old female Cobb500 chickens for fattening were assigned to two treatments: (1) a control diet (CTR); and (2) the control diet+the emulsifier (AMT, 1 g/kg from day 0 to day 10, 0.75 g/kg from day 10 to day 20 and 0.5 g/kg from day 20 to day 34 of the trial). AMT supplementation increased BW on days 20 and 34 (P<0.01). Dietary AMT increased the average daily gain and average daily feed intake (ADFI) from day 10 to day 20, from day 20 to day 34 and from day 0 to day 34 (P<0.01). A reduced feed conversion ratio was observed in the AMT group from day 10 to day 20 (P<0.01). In experiment 2, 96 Stambo HBI×Dalland piglets were weaned at 24 days and assigned to two treatments (the basal diet without the product (CTR) or with 2 g/kg emulsifier from day 0 to day 14 and 1.5 g/kg from day 14 to day 42 (AMT)). There was an increase in the ADFI associated with AMT supplementation from day 14 to day 42 (P=0.04). These results indicated that supplementation with the synthetic emulsifier may significantly improve the growth performance of chickens for fattening and numerically improve that of weaned piglets.  相似文献

Polyamines play a critical role in the development of intestinal and immune systems during the infant breastfeeding period, but the effect of polyamines on the microbiota has not been reported. The aim of our study was to characterize the impact on the colonization pattern in neonatal BALB/cOlaHsd mice after supplementing an infant formula (IF) with a mixture of putrescine (PUT), spermidine (SPD) and spermine (SPM). A total of 48 pups (14 days old) were randomly assigned to 4-day intervention groups as follows: breast-fed (unweaned) pups (n=12); weaned pups (n=12) fed an infant formula (IF); weaned pups (n=12) fed an IF enriched with a low concentration of PUT, SPD and SPM (2.10, 22.05 and 38.00 μg/day, respectively); and weaned pups (n=12) fed with IF enriched with a high concentration of PUT, SPD and SPM (8.40, 88.20 and 152.00 μg/day, respectively) of polyamines in accordance with normal proportions found in human milk. Microbiota composition was analyzed by fluorescent in situ hybridization (FISH) with flow cytometry detection. Microbiota changes in formula-fed mice were significantly greater following supplementation with polyamines (P<.01). Bifidobacterium group bacteria, Akkermansia-like bacteria and LactobacillusEnterococcus group levels were higher in the groups fed infant formula supplemented with polyamines, resulting in even higher numbers of bacteria than in the breastfed pups. Our findings indicate that infant formulas enriched with polyamines may interact with gut microbiota, suggesting that further studies in human infants are required to assess the impact of polyamines on both growth and microbiota levels.  相似文献

为探讨饲料中添加不同水平牛乳铁蛋白肽(Bovine lactoferricin, LfcinB)对大口黑鲈(Micropterus salmoides)幼鱼生长性能、消化酶活力、肠道组织结构及抗病力的影响,试验选取了初均重为(19.88±0.03) g的450尾大口黑鲈,随机分成5组,每组3个重复,分别在基础饲料中添加0(阴性对照组)、1000、1500和2000 mg/kg牛乳铁蛋白肽,并设置基础饲料+30 mg/kg氟苯尼考为阳性对照组,共5种试验饲料。试验周期为8周。结果表明:(1)随着牛乳铁蛋白肽添加量的增加,大口黑鲈的末均重(FBW)、增重率(WGR)和特定生长率(SGR)均呈现先升高后降低的趋势, 1000 mg/kg牛乳铁蛋白肽组大口黑鲈的生长性能最好且与对照组(阴性对照、阳性对照)对应数据差异显著(P<0.05)。(2)与两个对照组比, 1000 mg/kg牛乳铁蛋白肽组大口黑鲈的肠道胰蛋白酶、α-淀粉酶和脂肪酶活力均显著上升(P<0.05)。(3)与两个对照组比,饲料中添加1000 mg/kg牛乳铁蛋白肽可显著提高大口黑鲈前肠、中肠及后肠的绒毛高度和宽度(...  相似文献

A 70-day rearing trial was done to determine the optimal frequency of feeding on growth performance (GP), feed conversion rate (FCR), cannibalism, survival rate (SR), body chemical composition and economic efficiency of the Asian sea bass. This study tested four different treatments of feeding frequencies (FF), once (T1), twice (T2), three times (T3), and four times (T4) per day. An average initial weight of Asian sea bass fry was 0.2 g (SD = ±0.12) were stocked 10 individuals per m3 (9.14 m × 1.82 m × 1.22 m, L × W × H; water depth 0.61 m) with two replicates per treatment (4 × 2 = 8). Fry were fed a mixture of larval commercial feed and shrimp with a pellet diet containing (46% CP). Initially, the feeding rate of 8% biomass per day was further adjusted according to fish biomass on a weekly basis. Results showed that, the FF significantly affected (p < 0.05) on growth indictors and survival rate (SR). Specifically fry fed three times a day (T3) had the best FBW, FL, SGR, ADWG and FCR followed by T4 and T2 while fry fed one time a day was the lowest in these parameters. Also, VSI, HSI and CF (k) significantly differed among the treatments. The fish whole body content of protein, moisture and ash did not significantly (p < 0.05) be affected by feeding frequency, but lipid content differed and both T3, T4 were the highest. It could be concluded that, increasing FF up to three times a day had a positive effect on weight gain, survival rate and feed utilization of Lates calcarifer. The second degree polynomial regression indicates that fed three times a day is optimum for best growth performance and survival for Asian sea bass.  相似文献

This study reports titration of vitamin E levels in the sea bass (Dicentrarchus labrax) using high-pressure liquid chromatography. The first part of the work is devoted to vitamin E detection in: (1) plasma of maturing females and males characterized by different body sizes; (2) seminal fluid and eggs; and (3) developing embryos of sea bass fed with vitamin E. In the second part of the study, variations of vitamin E levels during larval development are analyzed. The results show a direct correlation between plasma vitamin E content and body size for both adult male and female sea bass. High vitamin E levels were found in seminal fluid, in eggs before and after fertilization, and in embryos during development and at hatching, whereas vitamin E level was low in dead embryos and in embryos with limited survival. During larval development, the vitamin E content decreased slowly but steadily during the first four days of larval growth; subsequently, it progressively increased from day 9 to day 40. In teratogenic larvae, vitamin E content was significantly higher than in normal larvae. This study provides evidence on how vitamin E exerts an antioxidant defense in sea bass reproduction.  相似文献

The growth of river catfish Mystus nemurus (Cuvier & Valenciennes) larvae fed four isocaloric diets (4200 kcal kg?1) with different protein levels during weaning was determined. Diets containing 45, 50, 55, and 60% protein were formulated by linear programming using amino acid profiles based on that of 2‐day‐old river catfish larvae. Artificial diets were fed to the larvae beginning at day 5 after being initially fed Artemia nauplii for 4 days. The larvae thrived solely on artificial diets from day 8 to day 16. On the other hand, the control larvae were fed Artemia nauplii from day 1 to day 16. Results of the feeding trial showed that growth and survival of M. nemurus larvae given the diet containing 60% protein were high and comparable to those of the larvae given only live food (control). Larvae fed the 55% protein diet had significantly lower growth and survival than the larvae on the control and 60% diets but significantly higher growth and survival rates than did larvae fed with 45 and 50% protein diets. Carcass moisture and total lipids after 16 days of feeding did not differ significantly (P > 0.05), but body protein increased with increasing dietary protein. Body protein of the control larvae was similar to that of larvae given the 60% protein diet.  相似文献

Vitamin A is easily degraded by environmental factors. Therefore, it is very important to add antioxidants during Vitamin A production. In the past, ethoxyquin (EQ) was widely used, but recent studies have found that it has potential toxicity. Therefore, in this study, we evaluated the antioxidant activities of 4 antioxidants in vitro: EQ, butylated hydroxytoluene, α-tocopherol and L-ascorbic acid sodium salt (Vitamin C sodium). In vitro experiments showed that Vitamin C sodium had better antioxidant capacity. Then, we explored the effects of different antioxidant types of Vitamin A on the growth performance, immune function and antioxidant capacity of weaned pigs. In total, 288 weaned piglets with an initial mean BW of 8.34 ± 0.02 kg at 30 days old were randomly divided into three groups with four replicates and 24 piglets per replicate for 35 days of feeding. The experimental diets were as follows: i) basal diet without external Vitamin A (NC); ii) basal diet supplemented with 12 000 IU/kg EQ Vitamin A and iii) basal diet supplemented with 12 000 IU/kg Vitamin C sodium Vitamin A. On day 36, two pigs from each replicate were selected to collect serum samples. The in vivo results showed that pigs in the EQ Vitamin A and Vitamin C sodium Vitamin A groups had significantly higher final weight and average daily gain (P < 0.05). During the trial, the levels of IgG and glutathione peroxidase in the EQ Vitamin A and Vitamin C sodium Vitamin A groups were significantly higher than those in the NC group (P < 0.05), and the malondialdehyde content was significantly lower (P < 0.05). On the 36th day, the levels of IgA and total antioxidant capacity in the Vitamin C sodium Vitamin A group were significantly higher than those in the EQ Vitamin A and NC (P < 0.05) groups. Thus, Vitamin C sodium Vitamin A can significantly improve the growth performance, antioxidant capacity and immune function of weaned pigs. Meanwhile, Vitamin C sodium may replace EQ as an antioxidant additive for Vitamin A.  相似文献

One of the essential factors to be addressed in the development of aquaculture is the feeding regime. This study was investigated to assess the effects of feeding rate on growth performance, feed utilization, chemical body composition survival rate, cannibalism and morphological indices of Asian Seabass, Lates calcarifer. Intended for the trial, one hundred forty sea bass individuals with an average weight 5.47 ± 0.11 g were randomly distributed in 4 concrete tanks (914 cm × 183 cm 122 cm) each; length × width × depth) and volume 18,399 L, for total 68 days. The fishes were fed with a pelleted diet containing 46% crude protein for different feeding groups designated as (T1, T2, T3 and T4). The feed was supplied with a rate of (T1) 3%, (T2) 4%, (T3) 6%, and (T4) 9% of fish biomass per day and feeding frequency were maintained three times per day to all the groups. At the end of the trial water physicochemical parameters was in acceptable range for Asian sea bass growth. The average daily weight gain (g), weight gain (g) and specific growth rate (%) was significantly higher (p < 0.05) in T3 and T4 as compared to T1 and T2 group. The poorest feed conversion ratio was recorded in T1 group with 3% biomass per day. The cannibalism rate was significantly (p < 0.05) higher in T1 (3%) compared to T3 and T4 treatment. The morphological indices, condition factors (CF), viscerosomatic index and hepatosomatic index (HSI) was significantly higher in T4 group as compared to other treatments. The protein, moisture and ash contents of the whole biomass of the Asian sea bass were not significantly influenced by feeding rate. The fat levels in the fish bodies increased significantly (p < 0.05) with increasing feeding ratio. The phenomenal regression indicates that 6.5% feeding rate per day is optimum for best growth performance, survival and minimum cannibalism rate for Asian sea bass in captivity. The outcome of the finding will help in promotion for not only the coastal aquaculture in Pakistan abut also elsewhere.  相似文献

为了研究在低蛋白质饲料中补充晶体必需氨基酸对大口黑鲈生长、体组成和免疫指标的影响,根据鱼体的必需氨基酸组成模式设计了7种等能的试验饲料。其中4种饲料(45CP、40CP、35CP和30CP)的粗蛋白质水平分别为45%、40%、35%和30%,另3种饲料(40AA、35AA和30AA)是在低蛋白质饲料(40CP、35CP和30CP)的基础上添加必需氨基酸,使它们的必需氨基酸含量与45CP(对照组)相一致。用上述饲料对初始体重为(10.13 0.01) g的大口黑鲈进行了89d的饲养试验。饲养试验在室内循环水养殖系统中进行,每种饲料设3个重复,每重复放养30尾鱼。方差分析显示:试验鱼的生长性能、饲料效率、全鱼和肌肉的粗蛋白质含量、成活率以及免疫指标均随着饲料蛋白质含量的降低而显著降低(P0.05)。添加必需氨基酸的35AA和30AA的饲料效率和蛋白质保留率分别显著高于对应的未添加必需氨基酸的35CP和30CP组(P0.05),但仍显著低于45CP组(P0.05)。40AA的试验鱼血清溶菌酶活性和血清补体活性与45CP组差异不显著(P0.05)。35AA和30AA组的头肾白细胞呼吸爆发活性显著高于35CP和30CP组(P0.05)。30AA组的全鱼粗蛋白质含量以及肥满度显著高于30CP(P0.05)。各组试验鱼的水分和灰分均无显著差异(P0.05)。回归分析显示:在低蛋白质饲料中补充晶体必需氨基酸对大口黑鲈幼鱼的生长、饲料效率和蛋白质保留率所产生的影响与其引起增加了的饲料蛋白质水平而不是饲料的必需氨基酸水平正相关。研究表明,在低蛋白质饲料中补充的晶体必需氨基酸对大口黑鲈的生长、体组成和免疫指标产生的有益作用不及等量的以蛋白质为来源的必需氨基酸。    相似文献

Largemouth bass (Micropterus salmoides), when starved for 1 day, almost totally abstain from eating toad (Bufo americanus and Bufo woodhousei) tadpoles. However, there is a positive relationship between bass hunger levels and the acceptability of Bufo larvae as food items. With experience, there is a decrease in the number of toad tadpoles engulfed (taken into the mouth), and that actually consumed by the bass, while the number of larvae expelled (spat out) increases. Bass strongly prefer Hyla crucifer tadpoles to B. americanus larvae, and learn to distinguish between the two species. These results agree with the hypothesis that the schooling behaviour found in B. americanus tadpoles functions, at least in part, as a deterrent to predation.  相似文献

The distribution of insulin-like growth factor-I (IGF-I) and myostatin (MSTN) was investigated in sea bass (Dicentrarchus labrax) by real-time polymerase chain reaction (PCR), in situ hybridization (ISH) and immunohistochemistry. Real-time PCR indicated that IGF-I mRNA increased from the second day post-hatching and that this trend became significant from day 4. ISH confirmed a strong IGF-I mRNA expression from the first week post-hatching, with the most abundant expression being detected in the liver of larvae and adults. Real-time PCR also showed that the level of MSTN mRNA increased significantly from day 25. The expression of MSTN mRNA was higher in muscle and almost absent in other anatomical regions in both larvae and adults. Interestingly, the lateral muscle showed a quantitative differential expression of IGF-I and MSTN mRNAs in red and white muscle, depending on the developmental stage examined. IGF-I immunoreactivity was detected in developing intestine at hatching and in skeletal muscle, skin and yolk sac. MSTN immunostaining was evident in several tissues and organs in both larvae and adults. Both IGF-I and MSTN proteins were detected in the liver from day 4 post-hatching and, subsequently, in the kidney and heart muscle from day 10. Our results suggest, on the basis of a combined methodological approach, that IGF-I and MSTN are involved in the regulation of somatic growth in the sea bass. 研究采用湿法制粒流化床包衣工艺, 分别以明胶、乙基纤维素、玉米醇溶蛋白为壁材制备微胶囊饲料, 比较其对黄姑鱼稚鱼生长和消化酶活力的影响. 粒径(178-590) m的3种微胶囊饲料质量均大于50%. 扫描电镜观察微胶囊饲料的表面均有一层较为致密的包衣薄膜. 壁材明胶、乙基纤维素、玉米醇溶蛋白微胶囊饲料的包含率分别为95.4%、95.6%和95.8%; 脂类包埋率分别为72.6%、76.5%和64.3%; 氮保留率分别为53.5%、62.3%和54.6%. 将3种微胶囊饲料分别饲喂15日龄黄姑鱼稚鱼30d. 明胶组和玉米醇溶蛋白组稚鱼的体重、全长均显著高于乙基纤维素组(P0.05), 但成活率差异不显著(P0.05); 明胶组稚鱼的体重、全长和成活率均高于玉米醇溶蛋白组, 但差异均不显著(P0.05). 明胶组稚鱼的胰蛋白酶活力显著高于乙基纤维素组和玉米醇溶蛋白组(P0.05), 但淀粉酶和碱性磷酸酶活力的差异均不显著(P0.05). 与乙基纤维素、玉米醇溶蛋白相比, 明胶更适合作为黄姑鱼稚鱼微胶囊饲料壁材.    相似文献

通过分析不同圈养密度的大口黑鲈(Micropterus salmoides)生长及其相关健康指标, 探讨大口黑鲈适宜圈养密度。试验大口黑鲈初始体重为(9.71±3.75) g, 设置低密度组(LSD; 1000尾/圈, 50尾/m3)、中密度组(MSD; 2000尾/圈, 100尾/m3)和高密度组(HSD; 4000尾/圈, 200尾/m3)3个养殖密度组, 每个密度组3个重复, 养殖周期为2019年5月17日至11月16日, 为期180d。结果表明, 0—30d阶段, HSD组平均体重(W)和特定生长率(SGR)显著高于LSD、MSD组(P<0.05), 30—180d阶段, 平均体重(W)和特定生长率(SGR)随密度升高呈降低趋势。在养殖结束时, HSD组的甘油三酯(TG)、碱性磷酸酶(ALP)、葡萄糖(GLU)和谷丙转氨酶(ALT)显著升高(P<0.05); HSD组的总抗氧化力(T-AOC)、超氧化物歧化酶(SOD)和过氧化氢酶(CAT)活性显著降低(P<0.05), 而丙二醛(MDA)浓度显著升高(P<0.05)。以上结果表明养殖前30d, 高密度(4000尾/圈, 200尾/m3)对生长有利; 但随养殖时间延长, 高密度对生长及有关生理指标和抗氧化性能产生一定的负面影响。大口黑鲈早期阶段(9.7—40 g/尾)圈养密度宜为4000尾/圈(200尾/m3); 鱼体重达到40 g后, 圈养密度宜为2000—3000尾/圈(100—150尾/m3)。  相似文献
