Length–weight relationships were determined for three fish species (Acanthopagrus latus Houttuyn, 1782; Acentrogobius caninus Valenciennes, 1837; and Nematalosa japonica Regan, 1917). Samples were collected from the East China Sea (N 27.306020, E 120.918026), from May to July in 2015–2016. Samples were collected using commercial trawls (5 cm main trawl and 3 cm codend mesh). Length–weight relationships for these three species were determined for the first time.  相似文献

Estimated length–weight relationships are presented for 22 commercially important marine fish species representing nine families, found in the East China Sea. A total of 2776 specimens were caught by otter trawl on the continental shelf in the East China Sea between 2009 and 2013. Information pertaining to length–weight relationships should lead to a better understanding of fish communities in the East China Sea.  相似文献

Length–weight relationships were determined for three fish species (Cynoglossus macrolepidotus (Bleeker, 1851), Liparis tanakae (Gilbert & Burke, 1912), Zoarces elongatus (Kner, 1868)) from Bohai Sea (38°38′–40°28′N; 119°42′–121°10′E), China. Fish specimens were sampled monthly between May 1982 to May 1983 using pair bottom trawlers (150.5 × 96.5 m, mesh size: 30–200 mm) with a cod end (mesh size: 30 mm), which were towed at a ship's speed of two knots for 1 hr at a maximum depth of about 80 m. Relationships between length and weight were fitted very well for all species (all R2 > .90).  相似文献

Length–weight relationships (LWRs) were determined for three endemic fish species [Gobiobotia filifer (Garman, 1912), Homatula potanini (Günther, 1896) and Xenophysogobio boulengeri (Tchang, 1929)] from the Yangtze River in China. Samples were obtained between April 2008 and June 2012 using various types of fishing gear and electroshock fishing techniques. For each species, the sample size, length range, weight range, LWR, 95% confidence intervals of a and b, and coefficient of correlation were determined. Prior to this study, the LWRs for two species [Gobiobotia filifer (Garman, 1912) and Homatula potanini (Günther, 1896)] were unknown.  相似文献

The length–weight relationships (LWRs) were determined for five fish species from the Beijiang River in China. Fishes were caught by gill nets (mesh sizes: 5, 7, 9 cm), and cage nets (mesh sizes: 0.5 cm) from April to September 2018. Length–weight relationships of four species were unknown to FishBase, and new records of maximum lengths are given for two species, one of which, Ancherythroculter lini, is endemic species of the Pearl River. All length–weight relationships were highly significant on a log scale with the coefficient of determination (r2) values ranged from 0.939 to 0.991. Values of b were within the expected range, varied from 2.935 for A. lini to 3.414 for Parasinilabeo assimilis.  相似文献
