<Emphasis Type="Italic">Justicia jamisonii</Emphasis> Jongkind &; Vollesen (Acanthaceae), a new species from Guinée,Côte d’Ivoire and Kenya

A new species, Justicia jamisonii is described and illustrated. It resembles Rungia paxiana but has a much narrower membranous margin on the inflorescence bracts and the corolla is hairy on the outside. The species has an extraordinary geographical distribution, it is only known from Guinée and C?te d’Ivoire in the west and Kenya in the east, two areas separated by a c. 4,700 km gap. It is described here in Justicia because the genus Rungia will soon be united with the older genus Justicia by the second author.     

Further notes on Bolivian <Emphasis Type="Italic">Justicia</Emphasis> L. (Acanthaceae)

Two new taxa of Justicia are recognised from Bolivia. Justicia fuentesii J. R. I. Wood is described as a new species. The two isolated populations of Justicia mesetarum Wassh. & J. R. I. Wood can be distinguished by a range of minor morphological differences and are treated as distinct subspecies with subsp. chiquitana J. R. I. Wood described as new. The new taxa are illustrated and mapped.     

Rungia sinothailandica sp. nov. (Acanthaceae) from China and Thailand

Rungia sinothailandica (Acanthaceae), a new species from Yunnan, China and Chiang Rai, Thailand is described and illustrated. A colour plate, line drawing and distribution map of R. sinothailandica are provided. Rungia sinothailandica is similar to R. pinpienensis H. S. Lo, but differs in the broadly ovate sterile bracts and obovate‐elliptic fertile bracts, the crispate and tawny bracts margin, the 2‐lobed upper lip of the corolla and puberulent capsule. It is also similar to R. burmanica (C. B. Clarke) B. Hansen, but is easily distinguished by pubescent stems and leaves, the cymbiform‐oblong bracteoles and the 2‐lobed upper lip of corolla.     

重楼属的四个新异名

将小重楼Paris polyphylla Smith var．minora S．F．Wang、长药隔重楼P.polyhylla Smith var．pseudothibetica H．Li处理为金线重楼P.delavayi Franch．的异名;将广东重楼P.polyphylla Smith var．kwantungensis（R．H．Miau）S．C．Chen＆S．Y.Liang处理为多叶重楼P.polyphylla Smith的异名;将文县重楼P.wenxianensis Z．X．Peng＆R．N．Zhao处理为黑籽重楼P.thibetica Franch．的异名。     

爵床科一新组合—菲律宾爵床

查阅模式标本后发现Hypoestes pulgarense Elmer的花单生或少数花聚生于叶腋内,并且花药两室,下方一室具矩.这些特征与枪刀药属(Hypoestes)聚伞花序及单室花药的特征不符,而与爵床属(Justicia)一致.因此提出一新组合--菲律宾爵床(Justicia pulgarensis(Elmer)C.M.Gao & Y.F.Deng).     

中国豆科和樟科几种植物学名的订正

在编写《Flora of China》过程中,根据标本和文献的查阅,对国产豆科和樟科几种植物学名进行修订。本文记述5个新组合、4个新异名和一个恢复的种名。5个新组合是:垂果山蚂蝗Desmodium strigilosum var.pendenticarpum(C.Z.Gao Q.R.Lai) P.H.Huang,心叶山蚂蝗Desmodium flexuosum var.cordifoliolatum(P.C.Li) P.H.Huang,密毛长柄山蚂蝗Podocarpium densum(C.Chen et X.J.Cui)P.H.Huang,东北长柄山蚂蝗Podocarpium podocarpum var.mandshuricum(Maxim.) P.H.Huang和尖叶长柄山蚂蝗Podocarpium podocarpum var.japon-icum(Matsum.)P.H.Huang.4个新异名如下:李氏木姜子Litsea lii C.E.Chang及其变种能汉木姜子var.nunkao-tahangensis(Liao) Liao作为竹叶木姜子L.pseudoelongata Liou Ho的新异名,竹头角木姜子L.akosensis var.chitouchiaoensis Liao作为台湾木姜子L.hayatae Kanehira的新异名和密毛山蚂蝗Desmodium densum (C.Chen et X.J.Cui)H.Ohashi作为密毛长柄山蚂蝗Podocarpium densum (C.Chen et X.J.Cui)P.H.Huang的新异名。由于Litsea pedicellata一名被占用,恢复Litsea taiwaniana Kamikoti作为黄肉树合法的种名。     

木犀属新资料(Ⅱ)

运用经典分类方法,在对木犀属进行系统研究的基础上,归并了总状桂花Osmanthus racemosus X.H.Song,将其作为厚叶木犀O.marginatus(Champ.ex Benth.)Hemsl.var.pachyphyllus(H.T.Chang)R.L.Lu的一个新异名;将大果桂花O.macrocarpus P.Y.Bai转移到野桂花O.yunnanensis(Franchet)P.S.Green下作为其异名,从而给出了木犀属的两个新异名。     

Three new species of Justicia sect. Justicia (Acanthaceae) from tropical Africa

Three new species of Justicia sect. Justicia (Acanthaceae) are described: Justicia regis from Kenya, Justicia acutifolia from Tanzania, and Justicia telloensis from Cameroun.     

爵床科孩儿草属一新组

描述了爵床科孩儿草属的一个新组-密花孩儿草组Rungia sect．Stoloniferoe C．M．Gao＆Y．F．Deng。本新组花序不偏向一侧,苞片均能育,同形。     

The genus Ptyssiglottis (Acanthaceae). A taxonomic monograph

A taxonomic treatment of the genus Ptyssiglottis including Ancylacanthus, Hallieru-cantha, Oreothyrsus , and Polytrema is given. The phylogeny is briefly dealt with. Leaf morphology, inflorescence morphology and pollen morphology yield important characters. The distribution of selected characters is mapped. The distribution of all species is mapped. Eight new species are published viz. P. campanulata, P. decurrens, P. fusca, P. glandulifera, P. longisepala, P mucronata, P. pubescens , and P. staminodifera . Fifteen new combinations are made viz. P. caudata, P. creaghii, P. cuprea, P. cyrtandroides, P. dulcamarioides, P. fastidiosa, P. glabrisepala, P. granulata, P. nigrescens, P. peranthera, P. psychotriifolia, P. pubisepala, P. salicifolia, P. sanguinolenta , and P. undulata .

New names,combinations and synonyms in <Emphasis Type="Italic">Justicia</Emphasis> and <Emphasis Type="Italic">Stenostephanus</Emphasis> (Acanthaceae)

Summary  Preparation of a catalogue of the plants of Colombia requires 30 new combinations in Stenostephanus Nees and five in Justicia L. to bring nomenclature up to date. Three new names Justicia littoralis J. R. I. Wood, J. albicans J. R. I. Wood and J. magdalenensis J. R. I. Wood are coined for Jacobinia lindaviana Rusby, Chaetothylax leucantha Leonard and Justicia disparifolia J. R. I. Wood respectively. The genus Pelecostemon Leonard is considered to belong to sect. Chaetothylax (Nees) V. A. W. Graham of Justicia L. Several species of Stenostephanus from Colombia and Venezuela are treated as synonyms of earlier species.     

Pseuderanthemum pubescens sp. nov. (Acanthaceae) from Thailand

Pseuderanthemum pubescens T. Choopan & P. J. Grote, a new species from southeastern Thailand is described and illustrated. It is distinguished from P. longistylum J. B. Imlay by leaves being pubescent instead of glabrous and by the corolla lobes being purple with reddish purple dots on all 5 lobes instead of dotted on lower lip only.     

Justicia tetrasperma sp. nov.–a linking species between Justicia and Monechma (Acanthaceae)

Justicia tetrasperma , a new species of Justicia sect. Monechma , is described on material from Shaba in Zaire. Its capsules with four smooth and compressed seeds is a character combination in favour of an inclusion of Monechma in Justicia .     

Two new species of Justicia sect. Harnieria (Acanthaceae) from Tanzania

Two new species of Justicia L. are described: Justicia ukagurensis Hedrén and Justicia sulphuriflora Hedrén, both from crystalline mountains of eastern Tanzania.     

云南产轴鳞蕨属（三叉蕨科）植物的分类研究

采用R．E．Holttum与P．J．Edwards1986年提出的轴鳞蕨属Dryopsis的概念,对云南产的轴鳞蕨属植物进行分类研究。云南产轴鳞蕨属植物共有8个种,其中,独立江轴鳞蕨Dryopsis dulongensis(S.K.Wu et X.Cheng）S．Y．Dong为新组合,Dryopsis fengiana(Ching)Holttum et Edwards为新异名。并列出了分种检索表、种的文献引证、标本引证和地理分布。     

Three new synonyms of Rungia stolonifera (Acanthaceae) from China and Vietnam

Examination of relevant type materials and living plants has revealed that Rungia axilliflora, R. densiflora and R. evrardii are conspecific with R. stolonifera. A lectotype is designated for the name R. stolonifera. Rungia sect. Stoloniferae is thus recognised as including two species, viz. R. stolonifera and R. mina.     

Taxonomic revision of Rhododendron mariae (Ericaceae) and related taxa

Based on a literature survey and a field trip with specimen examination, statistical analysis including principal components analysis (PCA) on morphological characters have been carried out on Rhododendron mariae and related taxa. Cluster analysis and PCA showed three independent groups, which corresponded to three species except R. loniceriflorum . As a consequence, nine taxa are reduced to synonyms of R. mariae , and two new combinations, viz R. mariae subsp. microphyton , and R. mariae subsp. flumineum are made. Rhododendron microphyton var. trichanthum is reduced to a synonym of R. mariae subsp. microphyton , and R. malipoense to a synonym of R. mariae subsp. flumineum . Three names are synonymized and a new combination, viz R. chryocalyx subsp. meridionale , is proposed within R. chryocalyx . The third entity, R. naamkwanense , has got two new synonyms. Rhododendron loniceriflorum , with whitish pubescence on the inner corolla surface, is recognized as the fourth distinct species. Each entity is illustrated with line drawings for identification.
