We studied the distribution of ABO blood group frequencies of the Galo and Mishing subtribes of the Adi tribal cluster in East Siang District, Arunachal Pradesh, India, in order to investigate the intertribal and temporal allelic variation. Blood groups O and AB showed higher frequencies (28.4%, 27.4%) in the Galo, whereas group O (45%) was predominant in the Mishing. Allele r is significantly different in the Galo (44.6%) and Mishing (60.3%). The chi-square test indicated significant deviations from Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium. Adi tribes show high heterogeneity and indicate significant temporal variation in ABO genotype frequencies in the Galo, Mishing, and Padam, whereas the Panggi, a small isolated subtribe of Adi, show similar and stable frequencies.  相似文献

The occurrence of cleft chin was studied among five endogamous groups (Padam, Minyong, Pasi, Gallong, Apatani) of Arunachal Pradesh, Northeast India. The incidence of this trait is low in all the groups. Thus, the populations are characterized by low frequencies of the gene Cl. Bisexual difference is significant only among the Minyong. While compared with other populations from Northeast India, the Mongoloid populations were found to be distinct from the only caste population, which has been investigated so far.  相似文献

Isolated tribes in remote areas are important for genetic studies, and one such little known subtribe of the Adi tribe, namely, the Adi Panggi (Pangi) of the Upper Siang District of Arunachal Pradesh, India, was studied for surname distribution to deduce the deviation from random mating and genetic kinship between villages. The estimates of homonymy (homozygosity) vary between villages; husbands show wider variation (0.009 to 0.23) than wives (0.005 to 0.054). The remote villages of Sumsing and Sibum and Geku Town show lower entropy among husbands' surnames than among Panggi wives. The highest equivalent surname number was found among Sibum husbands (9.9), Panggi wives (12.6), and Panggi and non-Panggi wives (13.5). The estimates of unbiased random isonymy among husbands and wives together show the smallest values in Sibum (0.05) and the highest values in Sumsing and Ramku (0.16). The random and nonrandom components of the inbreeding coefficient show avoidance of inbreeding among the Panggi villages (-0.012 to -0.27) except in Sibum (0.012). Genetic kinship between villages based on the Mij distance shows different clusters of villages among husbands and wives. Both the Panggi wives and the Panggi and non-Panggi wives show a similar pattern of clustering between villages. The wide homonymy variation between villages among the patrilocal Adi Panggi indicates differential genetic kinetics among husbands and wives, avoidance of inbreeding, and female-oriented differential gene flow with little effect on the overall intervillage genetic kinship.  相似文献

Red cell samples from persons belonging to four Amerindian linguistic groups in Colombia were investigated for genetic variants in eight blood group systems: for three of the groups investigations were extended to ten red cell enzyme and four serum protein systems. The groups studied are the Noanama (including six Empera) of the Rio Siquirisua and Rio Docampado on the Pacific lowlands and the Cofan, Ingano and Siona Indians of the Upper Rio Putumayo and its tributaries to the east of the Andes. Only blood group O was present among two of the groups and the same groups were 100% Kp(b +), k in the Kell system. Di(a +) frequencies were high in three groups and there was marked variation between groups for the MNS, Rh, P, Lewis and Duffy systems. Polymorphism in all the three linguistic groups studied for serum proteins and red cell enzymes was present only in the red cell acid phosphatase, phosphoglucomutase (locus-1) and haptoglobin systems. 6-phosphogluconate dehydrogenase was polymorphic in the Noanama, and caeruloplasmin was polymorphic in the Ingano linguistic group. In addition two persons belonging to the Cofan linguistic group revealed the presence of an “atypical” component in the lactate dehydrogenase system. No variation was found in the other six red cell enzyme and two serum protein systems. Comparison with published data on red cell enzyme and serum protein groups for other South American Amerindian populations shows the Colombian populations studied here most closely resemble the Cayapo of Brazil.  相似文献

Blood group systems are determined early in intrauterine life, specific to the individual and therefore significant in management and identification. Seven hundred and ninety five volunteer students of the Abraka campus of Delta State University were analyzed in this 4-year retrospective study. Amongst ABO system, blood group O was most common followed by A, B and AB respectively. Rhesus positive was more common than Rhesus negative in the rhesus system. Gender had no significant effect on both blood group systems studied. In the combined ABO and Rhesus blood groups, O positive was most common followed by A positive, B positive, AB positive O negative and A negative respectively. This study documents ABO and Rhesus blood group distribution patterns amongst south southern Nigerians. Findings will be useful in maintaining a register of possible donors, for effective management of medical emergencies.  相似文献

Blood group [ABO system] distribution was analysed in 245 children with complications after smallpox vaccination. One hundred and thirty-two children had neurological and 113 and skin or mucosal complications. 41.6% of the children were blood-group A or AB. 58.4% were blood group O or B, which was not a significant difference from the normal population [44.7%---48.7% and 51.0%---55.9%, respectively]. The analysis did not show in persons possessing blood groups A or AB an enhanced susceptibility to complications following antismallpox immunization or to particularly severe clinical forms of these complications. Immunological advantages in persons with blood group O or B were not found either.  相似文献

All major ABO blood alleles are found in most populations worldwide, whereas the majority of Native Americans are nearly exclusively in the O group. O allele molecular characterization could aid in elucidating the possible causes of group O predominance in Native American populations. In this work, we studied exon 6 and 7 sequence diversity in 180 O blood group individuals from four different Mesoamerican populations. Additionally, a comparative analysis of genetic diversity and population structure including South American populations was performed. Results revealed no significant differences among Mesoamerican and South American groups, but showed significant differences within population groups attributable to previously detected differences in genetic drift and founder effects throughout the American continent. Interestingly, in all American populations, the same set of haplotypes O1, O1v, and O1v(G542A) was present, suggesting the following: (1) that they constitute the main genetic pool of the founding population of the Americas and (2) that they derive from the same ancestral source, partially supporting the single founding population hypothesis. In addition, the consistent and restricted presence of the G542A mutation in Native Americans compared to worldwide populations allows it to be employed as an Ancestry informative marker (AIM). Present knowledge of the peopling of the Americas allows the prediction of the way in which the G542A mutation could have emerged in Beringia, probably during the differentiation process of Asian lineages that gave rise to the founding population of the continent. Blood specimens from Brahmin and Kamma caste populations of Coastal Andhra Pradesh, India are examined for A1A2BO, MNSs, and Rhesus blood groups. Predominance of A group in Brahmins and B group in Kammas is observed. Phenotype A2 records less than 4% in both populations. High frequencies of genes M, s, D, and e are exhibited among both populations. Statistically significant differences are found only for A1A2BO system between Brahmins and Kammas.  相似文献

Blood groups of humans and great apes have long been considered similar, although they are not interchangeable between species. In this study, human monoclonal antibody technology was used to assign human ABO blood groups to whole blood samples from great apes housed in North American and European zoos and in situ managed populations, as a practical means to assist blood transfusion situations for these species. From a subset of each of the species (bonobo, common chimpanzee, gorilla, and orangutans), DNA sequence analysis was performed to determine blood group genotype. Bonobo and common chimpanzee populations were predominantly group A, which concurred with historic literature and was confirmed by genotyping. In agreement with historic literature, a smaller number of the common chimpanzees sampled were group O, although this O blood group was more often present in wild‐origin animals as compared with zoo‐born animals. Gorilla blood groups were inconclusive by monoclonal antibody techniques, and genetic studies were inconsistent with any known human blood group. As the genus and, specifically, the Bornean species, orangutans were identified with all human blood groups, including O, which had not been reported previously. Following this study, it was concluded that blood groups of bonobo, common chimpanzees, and some orangutans can be reliably assessed by human monoclonal antibody technology. However, this technique was not reliable for gorilla or orangutans other than those with blood group A. Blood pressure variation was investigated among populations inhabiting islands and peninsula of Middle Dalmatia, Croatia. The number of previous anthropological studies pointed to isolation and different genetic population structure in this environmentally fairly homogeneous area. Variation in blood pressure (systolic and diastolic) among the populations of the islands of Brac, Hvar, Korcula, and the Peljesac peninsula was assessed at three levels involving village populations, regional (western and eastern) populations and the entire island populations. The blood pressure data were collected from 3834 adult individuals inhabiting 37 rural communities and were adjusted for age and body mass index. Variation in blood pressure levels existed among regions and villages. Due to the history of differential settlement, small village sizes and high levels of reproductive isolation, the observed blood pressure variation could be attributed to founder effect, genetic drift and inbreeding. The involvement of genetic factors was tested by relating blood pressure variation among villages to degree of isolation among them. Blood pressure means and proportions of hypertensives increased with endogamy levels in males. In females, this effect could not be observed. However, in both sexes the highest proportions of hypertensives (more than 40%) were found in villages that are most reproductively closed (endogamy greater than 80%). These populations are considered particularly promising for further genetic epidemiological research.  相似文献

利用PCR—RFLP法对傣族、白族、蒙古族、彝族等10个少数民族的16个群体共654人进行了mtDNA编码区多态性分析,共检测到17种单倍群,其中4种为未能确认的单倍群。单倍群频率分布和主成分图共同显示,百越系的3个民族共6个群体有高频的B、F单倍群,聚集在图的下部,表现出鲜明的南方群体特征;蒙古族的2个群体有高频的A、D单倍群,聚在图的上部,具有典型的北方群体特征;氐羌系的5个民族共7个群体全部或绝大多数都兼有南北方高频单倍群,位于图的中间,提示他们同时具有南北方群体的一些母系遗传特征。同一民族不同群体间的单倍群频率分布存在差异,但差异不很大,一般小于不同族源民族间的差异,但不一定都小于同一族源民族间的差异。  相似文献

A series of 150 patients with serum hepatitis were examined for the incidence of the Australia antigen (HBsAg) and associations with ABO blood groups, haptoglobin types and occurrence of intestinal serum alkaline phosphatase. Among the patients studied 11.3% were positive for HBsAg. When compared to controls patients with blood group O showed a significantly increased risk for serum hepatitis (p less than 0.05), while those with group B showed a decreased risk (p less than 0.01). The presence of the intestinal fraction of alkaline phosphatase showed a negative association with serum hepatitis (p less than 0.01) and there was no significant association between alkaline phosphatase types and ABO groups among the patients. The frequency of the Hp1 gene was significantly increased (p less than 0.01) among the patients as compared to controls.  相似文献

In 1980 blood and saliva samples were taken from Spanish students of the University of Madrid. Red cells were analysed for A1B2BO and Lewis blood groups. Saliva samples were tested to detect the specific group substances ABH, Lea and Leb. A slightly higher frequency of the "le" gene (0.419) was found in our sample as compared to other Spanish samples. The phenotype frequencies of ABH secretors (77.2%) and non-secretors (22.8%) are in the range of other European populations. The levels of A and B antigens of individuals belonging to these blood groups were similar, whereas the average titration of the H substance showed the relation O greater than A2 greater than A1 greater than A1B greater than B. Analysis of variance proved this heterogeneity to be statistically significant. The amount of Lea substance in non-secretors was higher than in secretors. This shows again that the ABH secretor status has some influence on the quantity of this antigen. The average titration of the Leb substance in secretors was higher than that of Lea in individuals belonging to O, A and AB blood groups, but not in those with blood group B.  相似文献

为研究中华稻蝗种群遗传多样性和遗传结构, 文章对我国7省市的7个中华稻蝗种群进行AFLP分析。选取7对引物扩增128个个体, 共产生336条带, 多态性条带292条, 占86.90%。结果表明: 中华稻蝗种群具有较高的遗传多样性水平, 其中海南万宁种群的遗传多样性高于其他各种群。Mantel检验(r=0.27, P=0.89)表明中华稻蝗各种群遗传距离与地理距离间没有显著相关性。种群间具有明显的遗传分化现象。UPGMA(Unweighted pair group method average)聚类分析显示, 7个中华稻蝗种群按地理距离分为3支: 北方北京昌平、山西太原和山东济宁为一支; 南方陕西汉中、湖南长沙和广西来宾为一支; 海南万宁单独为一支。上述结果以及PCA(Principal component analysis)分析均表明由于地理隔离中华稻蝗种群显示出明显的南北分化和岛屿大陆种群遗传分化现象。  相似文献

Background

In Uganda, geographical distribution of blood groups and Rhesus (D) factor varies across the country. The aim of this study was to examine the distribution of these groups among voluntary blood donors in rural southwestern Uganda.

Results

Twenty-three thousand five hundred four (23,504) blood donors were included in the study. The donors had a mean age of 21 years (SD ± 5.7) and were mainly male (73%). The distribution of ABO blood group was; blood group O (50.3%); blood group A (24.6%); blood group B (20.7%) and blood group AB (4.5%). The proportions of Rhesus (D) positive and Rhesus (D) negative were 98 and 2% respectively. The proportion of non-adult donors (<18 years) was significantly higher among the female than the male donors (p value <0.001). A significantly higher proportion of males than females were Rhesus (D) negative (p-value <0.001). No significant relationship was found between age and blood group distribution.

Conclusion

The sequence of ABO distribution among the rural population in southwestern Uganda is; O > A > B > AB, with males as the predominant donors. The frequency of Rhesus (D) negative is very low in rural southwestern Ugandan and is mainly among males. The blood bank services in southwestern Uganda need to develop innovative strategies targeting female donors who are more likely to boost blood stocks in the region.

目的 观察不同浓度的他克莫司对大鼠血糖的影响.方法 选取雄性SD大鼠30只,体重70~85g,随机等分为三组.A组大鼠为他克莫司加五脂胶囊组,每日给予他克莫司(普乐可复Astellas Ireland Co.,Ltd生产)2 mg/kg和五酯软胶囊(四川光大制药有限公司生产)0.2粒/kg;B组为他克莫司组,每日给予他克莫司2 mg/kg;C组为对照组,每日给予同等量生理盐水,三组大鼠均在空腹时灌胃给药,用药1h后喂食.用药时间为5个月.每月监测大鼠他克莫司血药浓度和空腹血糖.结果 在用药的1~5个月期间,A组大鼠他克莫司血药浓度均明显高于B组.在用药的第1个月和第2个月,三组大鼠空腹血糖无明显差异(P>0.05),用药第3个月后,A、B两组大鼠血糖均明显高于对照组(P<0.01),A组大鼠血糖略高于B组,二者之间差异并无统计学意义(P>0.05);用药第4、5个月后A、B两组大鼠的血糖持续升高,并且A组大鼠血糖明显高于B组(P<0.01);A组的胰岛素分泌指数和敏感指数均明显低于C组(P<0.01).结论 他克莫司通过减少胰岛素的分泌、增加胰岛素抵抗导致大鼠血糖升高,这种升血糖作用呈时间依赖性和浓度依赖性.  相似文献

An attempt has been made to give a picture of the distribution of AB0 and Rhesus blood groups in four Thai populations of Assam, India. Intragroup heterogeneity and their position among the Mongoloid populations of this region have also been examined. In all of these groups the frequency of the 0-allele was found to be the most predominant one followed by B- and A-alleles, respectively. A similar trend is observed in some other populations of Asia. The populations under study show statistically similarity with none of the Mongoloid populations of Assam. The incidence of Rhesus-negatives in the populations under study ranges from complete absence to below 2%.  相似文献

目的:研究不同浓度罗哌卡因复合右美托咪定在肛肠疾病日间手术中的麻醉效果。方法:选取2016年5月~2018年5月期间于我院行肛肠疾病日间手术的患者123例为研究对象。根据随机数字表将患者分成A、B、C三组,每组各41例,其中A组麻醉时注入右美托咪定复合0.375%罗哌卡因20 m L,B组麻醉时注入右美托咪定复合0.5%罗哌卡因20 m L,C组注入右美托咪定复合0.75%罗哌卡因20 m L。比较三组患者麻醉后镇痛效果,比较三组麻醉前、麻醉30 min后的呼吸循环指标,比较三组患者感觉神经、运动神经阻滞情况,记录三组患者术后不良反应发生情况。结果:B组、C组镇痛优良率显著高于A组(P0.05),但B组、C组镇痛优良率组间比较差异无统计学意义(P0.05)。三组患者麻醉前、麻醉30 min后心率(HR)、收缩压(SBP)、舒张压(DBP)、血氧饱和度(SPO2)整体比较差异均无统计学意义(P0.05)。B组、C组感觉神经阻滞起效时间均较A组短,且C组短于B组(P0.05),而B组、C组感觉神经阻滞持续时间均较长,且C组长于B组(P0.05);B组、C组Bromage评分1分人数均较A组少,且C组少于B组(P0.05),B组、C组Bromage评分2分人数均较A组多,但C组较B组少(P0.05),C组Bromage评分3分人数较A组和B组多(P0.05),三组Bromage评分4分人数整体比较差异均无统计学意义(P0.05)。C组患者术后不良反应总发生率高于A组、B组(P0.05),但A组、B组不良反应总发生率组间比较差异无统计学意义(P0.05)。结论:0.5%、0.75%罗哌卡因复合右美托咪定应用于肛肠疾病日间手术的镇痛效果、麻醉效果优于0.375%罗哌卡因复合右美托咪定,但是0.75%罗哌卡因复合右美托咪定的不良反应发生率偏高,0.5%罗哌卡因复合右美托咪定是肛肠疾病日间手术中更为合适的麻醉方案。  相似文献

A molecular characterization of alleles O1, O1variant (O1v), and the mutation G542A of the ABO blood group was performed in two Amerindian populations of Chile, the Aymara (n = 84) and the Huilliche (n = 75). In addition, a sample of 82 individuals of Santiago belonging to the mixed Chilean population was typed for comparative purposes. The polymorphisms which allow for molecular differentiation of different alleles of the O blood group were studied in genomic DNA. The mutations G188, G261-, G542A, T646A, and C771T, described for alleles O1, O1v, and G542A, were determined using the PCR-RFLP (polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism) technique. All individuals studied were group O homozygotes for the deletion G261-, which defines the O1 alleles. Results obtained indicate that allele O1v exhibits frequencies of 0.65, 0.81, and 0.60 in Aymara, Huilliche, and Santiago populations, respectively. The frequencies of allele O1(G542A) were 0.119, 0.113, and 0.079 in the same populations. Frequencies for alleles O1 and O1v obtained in the Chilean populations studied concur with the results obtained by other authors, respecting the greater frequency of allele O1v as well as with its heterogeneous distribution in aboriginal South American populations. In Chilean populations, Allele G542A exhibits lower frequencies than those described for indigenous populations from Brazil and may be used as an Amerind admixture marker.  相似文献

Blood groups of the ABO system were studied in 186 chronic carriers of typhoid bacilli and in 392 patients with typhoid fever from various districts of the Uzbek SSR. In comparison with control (healthy persons), carriers displayed a higher percentage of persons with A (II) blood group (50.88 and 42.64 against 37.51 and 32.13 in control) and a lesser percentage of persons with the O (I) blood group (21.05 and 22.48 against 32.93 and 32.07 in control). These data demonstrated that predisposition of persons with the A (II) blood group to chronic typhoid carrier state was characteristic of the Asian part of the country. In comparison with control, there were significantly less persons with the O (I) blood group and more with the AB (IV) blood group. Possible correlative mechanisms between the blood group and the typhoid infection and the development of chronic typhoid carrier state is discussed.  相似文献
