Water sorption isotherms of superabsorbent polymers were measured, and their affinity for water was evaluated by solution thermodynamics. The results provide basic data for the functional packaging of food to control the water content of food during its transportation or storage. Water activity above 0.9 was measured by adding a specific amount of water to the samples, while that below 0.9 was measured with apparatus for evaluating water sorption isotherms. Thus, water sorption isotherms for superabsorbent polymers were obtained up to a water activity of approximately 0.98. The amount of water sorbed by the superabsorbent polymers was influenced by the type of functional groups in the polymers, and not by the degree of cross-linking in the polymers. The integral Gibbs free energy, which is the most suitable parameter for evaluating the affinity of a material for water, was evaluated from the water sorption isotherms by using solution thermodynamics.  相似文献

Batch sorptions of acetazolamide (AZ) were conducted using four soils from China. Sorption of AZ was found to be impacted by OC, clay content, and soil pH, with higher kd values for soils with higher clay content. The kd values of SOM-removed soils are much lower than those of bulk soils. Sorption data were well fitted with a Freundlich model (r2 > 0.99). Chelating with the metal ions on the surfaces of soil particles was probably involved. With pH increase, the electrostatic attraction between anionic AZ and positively charged soil surface may increase. The sorption capacity decreased when the temperature increased from 20 to 40°C, and the calculated thermodynamics parameters of ΔG0, ΔH0, and ΔS0 indicated that the sorption was a non-spontaneous, physisorption, and exothermic process. Sorption coefficients (kd) for the compound in soil were low (ranging from 0.42 to 1.19 L·kg?1) and indicated that low level sorption of AZ with appreciable risk of ground water contamination.  相似文献

The adsorption of atrazine onto untreated and soils when oxides and hydroxides of Fe, Mn, and organic matter have been reduced was studied under aerobic and anoxic conditions. The Freundlich model appeared to fit the isotherm data better than the Langmuir model, while second-order reaction rates were best fit for atrazine in the aqueous phase. Simple regression analysis indicated that the Fe content of the geosorbents is the most important primary factor controlling the sorption processes of atrazine (r2 = 0.947). Similar sorption capacity of atrazine by geosorbents but different isotherm nonlinearity indicated different sorption domains due to structural modifications and hydrophobicity. The sample treated to significantly remove organic carbon exhibited the greatest organic carbon–normalized sorption capacity. There existed apparent sorption–desorption hysteresis for each sorbent–sorbate system with desorption being more significant under anoxic conditions. The study suggests that, in remediation exercise, in situ redox barriers such as Fe2+-enriched zones can be created by stimulation of Fe3+ through chemical reduction. This study observed that soil predominated by Fe and with low OC content is probably a more effective sorbent for atrazine, implying that atrazine applied to such soils is less likely to leach into groundwater.  相似文献

The 2,2"-azodiisobutyronitrile-induced radical polymerization in solution of 4-nitrophenyl acrylate was performed under microwave heating at a frequency of 2.45 GHz. This approach allows the control of the molecular weight of poly(4-nitrophenyl acrylate) used in the synthesis of multivalent glycoconjugates. It was found that the polymerization of 4-nitrophenyl acrylate under microwave irradiation results in products with a narrower molecular mass distribution than at conventional heating.  相似文献

人工模拟水热条件下苦豆子2种群硬实破除研究   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
以生长于内蒙古额济纳旗和阿拉善左旗2个种群的苦豆子为材料,根据其种子在自然条件下的2种存在方式:埋藏于土壤中和停留于土壤表面,模拟湿热和干热2种条件,并设置阿拉善干旱荒漠区可能出现的温度条件探讨自然条件下苦豆子硬实的破除机理.结果表明:苦豆子两种群硬实的破除对环境因子(温度、变温、湿度)的响应不同,高温(50~60℃)是两种群硬实破除都需要的条件,而单一的高温处理只能显著破除额济纳旗种群苦豆子的硬实;高温(60℃)和湿度(沙水质量比100:5)的结合可显著破除两种群苦豆子硬实,使额济纳旗和阿拉善左旗的苦豆子硬实丧失率分别达91%和87%;不同种皮颜色和种脐厚度的显著差异可能是引起两种群苦豆子硬实破除对环境因子响应不同的原因.  相似文献

The influence of temperature and pressure on the dimerizationand decomposition of glycine under simulated hydrothermal system conditions was studied by injecting a glycine solutioninto water in the sub- and supercritical state. The experimentsat five different temperatures of supplied water – 250, 300, 350, 374, and 400 °C – were performed at 22.2 and 40.0 MPa. At 350 °C, experiments under 15.0–40.0 MPa were conducted. Diglycine, triglycine (trace), diketopiperazine,and an unidentified product with a high molecular mass (433 Da) were the main products of oligomerization. The results show thattemperature and pressure influence the extent of dimerizationand decomposition of glycine. The maximum of dimers formationwas observed at 350 and 375 °C at 22.2 and 40.0 MPa,respectively, and coincided with a high rate of glycine decomposition. Glycine, alanine, aspartic acid, as well as otheramino acids, were obtained by injecting a mixture of formaldehydeand ammonia. The results support the oligomerization and synthesis of amino acids in a submarine hydrothermal system.  相似文献

The impact of the crystallinity of spray-dried inulins on their stability and physical properties was investigated after a conditioning of 1 week at different relative humidity levels (0% to 94%) at 20 °C. An environmental scanning electron microscopy study showed that the amorphous powders hardened at a relative humidity storage between 59% and 75%; while their semi-crystalline counterparts were partially agglomerated but friable in the same conditions. Caking was observed when the glass transition temperature of the amorphous phase of the material dropped below the storage temperature of the powder. It resulted in a crystallization of the structural units of varying lengths composing inulin, but also an increase of the crystallinity of the semi-crystalline ones. This study showed the importance of the crystallinity of inulin on its stability and physical properties during storage which is of crucial importance for the shelf-life of food and pharmaceutical products in the dry state. 容量法是土壤有机质测定中普遍使用的方法。根据实验室的条件和多年的实践,对容量法GB1999加热氧化控制条件进行改进,摸索出两种比较理想的土壤有机质测定方法:烘箱加热和消化炉加热法。经检验,两种方法的结果准确可靠,相对误差都小于1.41%,相对标准偏差小于2.73%,而且这两种方法测定速度快,操作简便,优于传统的测定方法。  相似文献

稻米淀粉黏滞性谱(RVA谱)常被用来鉴定水稻种质资源和所选优良株系的食味品质,RVA成糊温度(PT)却不能准确反映糊化温度(GT),校准成糊温度PT m能够比较准确地反映GT,但PT的校准范围、PT m衡量稻米GT的准确程度以及SSIIa基因型对其的影响等并未见报道。本研究利用遗传背景差异小、双亲糊化温度差异大的B1F8株系中的58个单株为材料,通过检测其SSIIa基因型,将材料分为3类,分别在3种SSIIa基因型的遗传背景下,比较分析PT、PT m、GT,结果表明,SSIIa基因型不同,PT的校准范围明显不同;PT衡量稻米GT的准确率仅为39.66%,而PT m准确率达到89.66%。进一步利用PT和PT m分别表示GT,分析稻米AC与GT关系,得出与一些学者不同的结论:稻米AC与GT呈极显著负相关性。  相似文献

Sorption of Co(II) on SiO2.xH2O (silica gel) has been investigated as a function of time, amount of silica gel (0.10–1.00g), cobalt concentration (5.00 × 10?5–1.20 × 10?3 M), ionic strength (0.20–1.40 M NaClO4), pH (~6.80–10.80), and temperature (273–318 K). Using the sorption kinetics data, the diffusion coefficient of Co(II) was calculated to be 6.86(±0.44) × 10?12 m2sec?1 under particle diffusion-controlled conditions. The sorption rate was determined as 2.61(±0.19) × 10?3 sec?1 at 298 K, pH 6.70(±0.05) and 0.20 M NaClO4. The sorption data followed the Freundlich, Langmuir, and Dubinin-Radushkevich (D-R) isotherms. Cobalt sorption decreased with increased ionic strength. A gradual decrease in pH with increased ionic strength supported the sorption of Co(II) by an ion exchange mechanism. The effects of different ligands such as , F?, and on the sorption of Co(II) were studied in the pH range 6.50 to 8.50. The sorption of cobalt on silica gel increased with increased temperature and had an endothermic enthalpy change (ΔH = 23.60(±0.57) kJ/mol).  相似文献

蓝藻经短期高温处理后,其固氮活性显著下降,但在合宜条件下,这种受伤害的固氮活性可以有一定程度的恢复。光下不仅比暗中恢复快,而且活性也高得多。光合抑制剂和外源碳水化合物分别减缓和促进受高温伤害的蓝藻固氮活性恢复。在光、暗和供给外源碳水化合物的条件下,厌氧(氩和氮中)对受高温伤害的蓝藻固氮活性恢复不利。与正常蓝藻有异的是,H_2,CO_2及H_2与O_2,CO_2与N_2的加合都阻碍受高温伤害的蓝藻固氮活性的恢复。  相似文献

An especial method was applied for calculating the photosynthetic productivity of oak (Quercus robur L.) stand. The methodological basis is that the efficiency of photosynthetic utilization of intercepted PAR over the daylight period depends on environmental conditions and distribution of PAR within the canopy. This method was also used to determine the photosynthetic productivity of individual trees within the stand and to estimate the contribution of trees with various extents of growth retardment to the total photosynthetic productivity. For the oak stand in the forest-steppe region, the photosynthetic efficiency was expressed as a function of climatic variables such as solar irradiance day sum, day average temperature, air humidity, and water availability (quantified as the predawn leaf water potential, PLWP). This functional dependence differed for sun-exposed and shade leaves. Under optimum water availability (PLWP = −0.5 MPa), the photosynthetic productivity of a 60-year-old oak stand amounted 44.5 t C/(ha year) but it declined with the decrease in water availability. Under severe water deficit, when PLWP dropped to −2.1 MPa, the photosynthetic productivity decreased 17-fold and equaled 2.6 t C/(ha year). A soybean protein isolate (SPI), and its β-conglycinin and glycinin componets were obtained from defatted soybean flour by applying dissolution and precipitation based on the difference in their solubility depending on each isoelectric point. The purity evaluated by SDS–PAGE of the β-conglycinin and glycinin preparations was about 84% and 80%, respectively, resulting in a clear difference in the pH dependence on solubility. A BET plot derived from the water sorption isotherm at 25 °C showed that the amount of the monolayer adsorption of these preparations was about 6–9%, the value for the β-conglycinin preparation being about 1.5 times higher than that for the glycinin preparation. The β-conglycinin and glycinin preparations were respectively denatured at around 75 °C and 86 °C in the presence of excess water, whereas the denaturation temperature of both preparations was markedly increased by decreasing sorbed water content below 40%, corresponding well with the unfrozen water content.  相似文献

用CIRAS-2便携式光合仪测定了不同土壤水分条件下(土壤相对含水量为84.7%~22.8%)2年生珍珠油杏叶片净光合速率、蒸腾速率、水分利用效率、胞间CO2浓度等光合生理参数的光响应过程,探讨其光合生理特性对土壤水分和光照强度的响应规律。结果表明:(1)随着土壤水分含量的降低,珍珠油杏叶片净光合速率、蒸腾速率、暗呼吸速率、光饱和点均呈降低趋势,表观量子效率先升高后降低,光补偿点先降低后升高。(2)利于珍珠油杏进行高光合作用并维持高水分利用效率的土壤相对含水量为43.6%~84.7%,适宜的光照强度为800~2 000μmol.m-2.s-1,即珍珠油杏对土壤水分和光照强度适应范围较广。(3)在土壤相对含水量43.6%~73.5%范围内,气孔限制是导致珍珠油杏光合速率下降的主要原因,在低于43.6%范围内,非气孔限制是导致光合速率下降的主要原因。研究认为,珍珠油杏是一种抗旱性比较强的植物,适合在华北干旱瘠薄山地引种栽培。  相似文献

This investigation reports the nanomechanical properties of shallow water shrimp exoskeleton at temperatures ranging from 30 ℃ to 80 ℃ measured using nanoindentation experiments. Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) measurements suggest that the shrimp exoskeleton has the Bouligand structure in its layers, a key characteristic of the crustaceans. The thickness of the layers and packing density are found to be different from that of lobsters and crabs reported earlier in the literature. Mechanical properties at high temperatures are determined using micro materials nanoindentation test set up combined with the hot stage. The properties measured during nanoindentation test are corrected for the creep and thermal drift during the experiments. The reduced modulus values are found to be around 28 GPa at 30 ℃ that reduces to approximately 24 GPa at 80 ℃. The hardness values also decrease from 1.6 GPa at 30 ℃ to around 1.2 GPa at 80 ℃. The indentation size effect is found to be absent at all temperatures. Creep mechanisms of polymers like materials and its temperature dependence are discussed to give more insight into the deformation mechanism.  相似文献

对中华蟾蜍Bufo gargarizans蝌蚪在不同水温下生长以及变态情况进行了观察,测量了不同发育时期的全长、尾长、体宽,记录了不同温度条件下各时期出现的起始时间和持续时间;比较了不同温度条件下的发育状态,发现高温可以明显加速生长,比对照组提前17天变态.方差分析得出高温下变态前的体长、尾长、体宽、尾高、前肢长都与对照组有明显差异(P<0.01),说明高温虽然加速了生长,但也使得变态能量积累不够,体形偏小;21℃时,全长、尾长与对照组差异不显著,其余变量差异显著,说明这个温度下,蝌蚪发育时间充足,积累能量多,趋向于形成较大的个体.这种在水温变化时所呈现出来的表型可塑性有利于适应异质性的环境,急速发育导致的提前变态可以使其避开干旱的危害.但是这种表型可塑性能力也有其局限,推测小个体的成体可能会在生长繁殖中付出代价.  相似文献

1. Global warming has increased the mean surface temperature of the Earth by 0.6 °C in the past century, and temperature is probably to increase by an additional 3 °C by 2100. Water temperature has also increased, which in turn can affect metabolic rate in rivers. Such an increase in metabolic rate could alter the role of river networks in the global C cycle, because the fraction of allochthonous organic C that is respired may increase. 2. Laboratory‐based incubations at increasing water temperature were used to estimate the temperature dependence of benthic respiration in streams. These experiments were performed on stones taken from seven reaches with different thermal conditions (mean temperature ranging 8–19 °C) within the pre‐alpine Thur River network in Switzerland, June–October 2007. 3. The activation energy of respiration in different reaches along the river network (0.53 ± 0.12 eV, n = 94) was similar, indicating that respiration was constrained by the activation energy of the respiratory complex (E = 0.62 eV). Water temperature and the thickness of the benthic biofilm influence the temperature dependence of respiration and our results suggest that an increase of 2.5 °C will increase river respiration by an average of 20 ± 1.6%.  相似文献

于2005年选用3个水稻品种(扬稻6号、扬粳9538和武香粳14)在抽穗开花期设置无水(0 cm)、浅水(2~4 cm)和深水(10 cm以上)3个水分处理,研究水分管理对水稻不同部位温度的影响.结果表明,在10:30-15:00,田间灌水深度显著影响水稻植株不同部位的温度.田间水位越高,水稻各部位的温度越低,大气温度与植株不同部位的温度的差值越高.深水管理下,3个品种大气与水稻穗部、植株中部和田面温差的平均值分别比无水管理高1.37、2.98和4.12 ℃,比浅水管理高0.67、1.59和2.17 ℃;而浅水管理大气与下穗部、植株中部和田面温差的平均值分别比无水管理高0.71、1.39和1.95 ℃.不同品种大气与水稻各部位的温度差值也存在差异.对田面-植株中部-穗部温度传递特性的分析表明,不同水深管理下的水稻群体内部温度的变化梯度符合热学传递原理,说明在抽穗期高温来临之前提高田间水深对降低或缓解水稻高温热害具有明显作用.  相似文献
