Two New Species of Caddisflies of the Genus Lepidostoma Rambur (Trichoptera: Lepidostomatidae) from the Great Basin

Two new species of Caddisflies from the Great Basin region in California and Nevada are described. Lepidostoma castalianum sp. nov., collected at a spring in the White Mts. of Mono Co., California, is closely related to L. verodum Ross. L. ojanum sp. nov., collected at three separate springs in the White Mts. of Inyo Co., California, and one spring in Mineral Co., Nevada, is a member of the unicolor species group, similar to L. frosti (Milne) and L. unicolor (Banks).     

Two new species of Acacia (Leguminosae) from north-eastern Somalia

Acacia qandalensis , sp. nov., and A. tephrophylla , sp. nov., from north-eastern Somalia, are described and illustrated. A. qandalensis grows on limestone rocks, often in steep and exposed places, and is known from 600–1400 m altitude from the Cal Miskaat Mts in the west to near Bunder Murrayha in the east. A. tephropkylla obviously has a more restricted area of distribution and is known only from stony or rocky places on limestone at 1300–1800 m altitude in the Cal Miskaat Mts, where it is the dominant woody plant over large areas. Both species are related to A. etbaica.     

凹唇跳甲属的中国种类(叶甲科,跳甲亚科)

记述凹唇跳甲属Argopus Fischer von Waldheim的中国种类,共计16种,其中含2新种:似双齿凹唇跳甲A.similibidentata Wang et Ge,sp.nov.,产自浙江天目山及陕西宁陕火地塘;粗背凹唇跳甲A.foveolata Wang et Ge,sp.nov.产自黑龙江带岭、虎林;另黑胸凹唇跳甲A.miyakei Kimoto,1991,仅记录中国台湾,本文记载了来自福建、广西、贵州的6头标本(3♂♂,3♀♀),扩大了该种的分布范围.新种模式标本保存于中国科学院动物研究所国家动物博物馆.     

中国隐织蛾属研究(鳞翅目:织蛾科)(Ⅱ):贵州种类记述(英文)

依据从2000年到2002年采自贵州赤水、习水以及梵净山等地的隐织蛾属Cryptolechia Zeller昆虫标本,研究报道了中国贵州的隐织蛾昆虫14种,包括11新种:拟弯带隐织蛾C.proximideflecta sp.nov.,苔隐织蛾C.muscosa sp.nov.,独带隐织蛾C.solifasciaria sp.nov.,棒隐织蛾C.spinifera sp.nov.,齿隐织蛾C.denticulata sp.nov.,叉隐织蛾C.furcellata sp.nov.,阔隐织蛾C.latifascia sp.nov.,尖隐织蛾C.acutiuscula sp.nov.,束隐织蛾C.fasciculifera sp.nov.,钩隐织蛾C.hamatilis sp.nov.和凹隐织蛾C.concaviuscula sp.nov.。首次报道了葛氏隐织蛾C.gei Wang的雌性个体。文中提供了新种的外生殖器特征图。模式标本保存在南开大学生物系。     

A STUDY OF CRYPTOLECHIA ZELLER (LEPIDOPTERA: OECOPHORIDAE) IN CHINA (II): SPECIES FROM GUIZHOU PROVINCE

Abstract  The present paper reports fourteen species of the genus Cryptolechia from Guizhou Province, China. Eleven species are described as new: C. proximideflecta sp. nov., C. muscosa sp. nov., C. solifasciaria sp. nov., C. spinifera sp. nov., C. denticulata sp. nov., C. furcellata sp. nov., C. latifascia sp. nov., C. acutiuscula sp. nov., C. fasciculifera sp. nov., C. hamatilis sp. nov. and C. concaviuscula sp. nov. The female of C. gei Wang is reported for the first time, and the genital structures of the new species are illustrated.

New click beetles (Coleoptera: Elateridae) from the cretaceous of Russia and Kazakhstan

A new tribe, two new genera, and seven new species of click beetles are described: Pollostelaterini, trib. nov., Pollostelater baissensis, gen. et sp. nov. from the Lower Cretaceous of Transbaikalia (Baisa locality), five new species in the genus Cryptocoelus Dolin et Nel C. sinitshenkovae, sp. nov. (Romanovka locality), C. shcherbakovi, sp. nov., C. baissensis, sp. nov., C. lukashevichae, sp. nov., C. dolini, sp. nov. STUDIES ON THE CHINESE COLEOPHORIDAE (LEPIDOPTERA): COLEOPHORA SALICORNIAE GROUP WITH DESCRIPTIONS OF TWELVE NEW SPECIES*

Abstract This paper deals with twenty-nine species of Coleophora salicorniae group of Coleophoridae. Among them, twelve species (Coleophora lativalva sp. nov., C. ossaedeaga sp. nov., C. pendulivalvula sp. nov., C. novisqualorella sp. nov., C. capitargentella sp. nov., C. curvidentatella sp. nov., C. dorsiproducta sp. nov., C. harbinensis sp. nov., C. xinjiangensis sp. nov…C. cuprea sp. nov., C. pallidiptera sp. nov. and C. resupina sp. nov.) are described as new to science and fifteen species are newly recorded from China. Carpochena halostachyos Falkovitsh is proposed as a synonym of Coleophora plicipunctella Chrètien. Genitalia of new species are illustrated and females of Coleophora armeniae Baldizzone et Patzak, C. carchara Falkovitsh and C. sequens Falkovitsh are described for the first time. A key to Chinese species of Coleophora salicorniae group is given.     

Taxonomic review of the genus Coelopisthia F?rster (Hymenoptera:Pteromalidae) from China,with four new species

The pteromalid genus Coelopisthia from China is studied with eight species including four new species and two newly recorded species: C. dasycladus sp. nov., C. gracilentus sp. nov., C. pseudaletia sp. nov., C. condensus sp. nov., C. areolata Askew and C. caledonica Askew. A key to Chinese species is provided. All the specimens are deposited in the Zoological Museum, Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
