The subfamily Prometopinae Böving and Craighead, 1931 is recorded from Korea for the first time. Two species from different genera are recognized; Prometopia unidentata Hisamatsu, 1959 and Paramatopia x-rubrum Reitter, 1884. Morphological comments, biology, illustrations of habitus with genitalia of both sexes and a key to species from Korea are provided.  相似文献

Genus Oreta Walker of Drepanidae in Korea is reviewed, with six species including a new species, sambongsana sp. nov., which is closely similar to O. pulchripes in superficial and genital characters. Taxonomic notes on all known species, with illustrations of adults and the male genitalia are provided. A key to species is given.  相似文献

The tribe Oxyptilini of the family Pterophoridae in Korea is reviewed. Four species, Capperia trichodactyla (Denis & Schiffermüller 1775), Oxyptilus chrysodactylus ([Denis & Schiffermüller] 1775), Procapperia pelecyntes (Meyrick 1908), and Tomotilus celebrates (Meyrick 1932) comb. nov., are newly reported from Korea. All recognized species are described with taxonomic notes and illustrations including male and female genitalia. Keys to the species are also presented.  相似文献

In the present study, three species of the genus Olethreutes: O. aviana Falkovitsh, O. obovata (Walsingham), and O. orthocosma (Meyrick), based on the material deposited in the Hungarian Natural History Museum, are reported for the first time from North Korea. Among them, O. aviana Falkovitsh is newly recorded from the Korean peninsula. Photographs of the adults and genitalia of the species are presented.  相似文献

The genus Cyphagogus Parry in the family Brentidae is newly recorded from Korea, based on a newly designated allotype, C. iwatensis Morimoto male, which was described based on just two female types from Japan. Diagnosis and illustrations of detailed diagnostic characters, including line drawings of male genitalia are provided with a key for identifying East Asian species of the bipunctatus-group.  相似文献

Two species of the family Incurvariidae, Vespina nielseni Kozlov and Paraclemensia monospina Nielsen, are reported for the first time from Korea. The morphological characteristics of adults and the female genitalia of the two species are redescribed briefly, with illustrations.  相似文献

Two new species, M. insularis sp. nov. and M. woonhahi sp. nov., of the genus Melanotus Eschscholtz from Korea are described. The external characteristics of both species are similar to a Japanese species, M. senilis Candeze. In addition to the difference of male genitalia, however, M. insularis can be distinguished by the strong body punctures from M. woonhahi and by short antennae and small and sparse body puncture from M. senilis.  相似文献

The morphology of the male genitalia of 46 Agathidinae species belonging to 20 genera has been investigated. Samples from various geographical regions were used to discover the evolution of the male genitalia within the subfamily Agathidinae. Those male genitalia may contain important phylogenetic information at least in certain groups of Braconidae. For the New World, three of four investigated species of Cremnops (C. haematodes, C. montrealensis and C. vulgaris) could suggest the form of the new genus with the other members of New World Cremnops, partly because of the deviating morphology of the male genitalia. Comparative morphology of the male genitalia of Bassus confirms that it is polyphyletic. The status of Lytopylus (L. erythrogaster) is again actualised. Once synonymised as Aerophilopsis, this species could be excluded from other Lytopylus species. The statistical analysis showed that smaller specimens (<6.67 mm) give less details on the morphology of the male genitalia comparing to larger.  相似文献
