Lignosus hainanensis sp. nov., is described and illustrated on the basis of collections originating from tropical forest in Hainan Province, southern
China. Both the morphology and phylogeny support this new species. It is characterized by its centrally stipitate basidiocarps
arising from a distinct sclerotium, yellowish brown to cinnamon-brown pileal surface, cream to cream-buff pore surface, trimitic
hyphal system with clamped generative hyphae, and oblong ellipsoid to cylindrical basidiospores. Lignosus hainanensis may be confused with L. rhinocerus, also occurring in southern China, but L. rhinocerus can be distinguished by its smaller pores (6–8 per mm) and smaller and distinctly broadly ellipsoid basidiospores (4–5 × 2.8–3 μm). 相似文献

Gymnopilus ombrophilus sp. nov., growing on rotten wood of conifers and hardwoods from Niigata, Japan is described and illustrated. It is characterized by its medium-sized, brownish-orange basidiocarps with a finely squamulose pileus, stipe lacking an annulus, and mild taste, and microscopically by dextrinoid, small, broadly ellipsoid basidiospores. The new species belongs to the section Microspori. The differences between the taxon and similar species are briefly discussed. 相似文献

Two new species of Coltricia, C. austrosinensis and C. minima, are described from southern China on the basis of morphological characters and molecular evidence. Phylogenetic analysis based on the internal transcribed spacer (ITS) regions and nuclear large subunit (nLSU) ribosomal RNA gene regions indicated that the two new species were nested within the Coltricia clade in Hymenochaetales. Coltricia austrosinensis is characterized by centrally stipitate basidiocarps, lobed pileal margin, distinctly swollen stipe tip, cinnamon pore surface, large pores (1–3 per mm), and broadly ellipsoid basidiospores measuring 8–10?×?5.5–6.5 μm, with a distribution to date in subtropical China. Coltricia minima is characterized by tiny, centrally stipitate basidiocarps, entire pileal margin, uniform stipe, pileus bearing distinct concentric zones and pore surface dark greyish blue when fresh, small pores (3–4 per mm), narrow tramal hyphae (3.5–4 μm), and broadly ellipsoid to subglobose basidiospores measuring 6–7?×?4–5 μm, and occur in mixed tropical forests. 相似文献

Phylloporia is a monophyletic genus within the Hymenochaetaceae as recovered by nuclear large subunit ribosomal DNA (nLSU) sequences. According to the summarization of 38 species accepted in this genus, Phylloporia is characterized by an absence of setae and the presence of abundant thick-walled, colored and tiny basidiospores, although its other morphological characters are highly diverse. Nine herbarium specimens from China, fitting the morphological concept of Phylloporia, were morphologically and phylogenetically studied in detail. The phylogeny inferred from nLSU sequences shows that the nine specimens formed three terminal lineages within the Phylloporia clade. Two lineages being composed of four specimens from Hainan and three from Guizhou were newly described as Phylloporia minutipora and P. radiata, respectively. In Phylloporia, P. minutipora is distinct by a combination of annual, sessile and imbricate basidiocarps, distinctly concentrically sulcate pileal surface with obtuse margin, angular pores of 12–15 per mm, duplex context separated by a black zone, a dimitic hyphal system, and broadly ellipsoid basidiospores of 2.5–3?×?2–2.5 μm, while P. radiata is distinct by a combination of annual, sessile and imbricate basidiocarps, faintly sulcate and radially striate pileal surface, sharp pileal margin, angular pores of 8–10 per mm, duplex context separated by a black zone, a monomitic hyphal system, and broadly ellipsoid basidiospores of 2.5–3.5?×?2–2.5 μm. The third lineage, comprising two specimens from Hainan, was morphologically determined as Phylloporia pulla. This species was recently combined to Phylloporia based on only morphological characters, and the current study for the first time generated its molecular sequences for phylogenetic reference. Fomitopsis niveomarginata sp. nov. is described and illustrated from specimens originating from Changbaishan Nature Reserve, Jilin Province, northeastern
China. It is characterized by annual to perennial, sessile to effused-reflexed basidocarps, with a cream-colored azonate and
corky context, a yellowish brown and shining pore surface, and small, oblong-ellipsoid basidiospores. The new species is similar
to Fomitella rhodophaea that has a concentrically sulcate and zoned pileal surface, smaller pores, and slightly wider basidiospores; furthermore,
the latter occurs mainly in the tropical areas. Phylogenetically, the new species forms a well-supported, terminal monophyletic
clade, distinct from other sampled Fomitopsis species and Fomitella rhodophaea. An identification key to the Chinese species of Fomitopsis is provided. 相似文献

Two new Exobasidium species on Vaccinium spp. in Japan are described and discussed. Exobasidium kishianum, which causes Exobasidium leaf blight on V. hirtum var. pubescens and V. smallii, is characterized by its ellipsoid to ovoid basidiospores with (0–)1–3 septa. Its systemic infection is also observed. Exobasidium inconspicuum, causing Exobasidium leaf blister on V. hirtum var. pubescens, is characterized by its obovoid or ellipsoid to oval basidiospores with 0–4 septa. Mode of germination of the basidiospores
is by germ tube in both species.

Two new polypores (Ceriporiopsis lavendula B. K. Cui sp. nov. and Skeletocutis inflata B. K. Cui sp. nov.) are described from the Guangdong Province in southern China. Ceriporiopsis lavendula is characterized by having resupinate basidiocarps with lavender to grayish blue pore surface and very thin to almost absent subiculum, a monomitic hyphal system with clamped generative hyphae, and oblong‐ellipsoid to ellipsoid basidiospores. Moreover, it grows on wood of Castanopsis exclusively. Skeletocutis inflata is characterized by having pileate basidiocarps, smaller pores (8–10 per mm), inflated and partly dissolved skeletal hyphae in KOH. In addition, its tramal skeletal hyphae are parallel along the tubes. Identification keys to species of Ceriporiopsis and Skeletocutis occurring in China are provided. 相似文献

Three new species of Agaricales from eastern Honshu, Japan, are described and illustrated. (1) Clitocybe minutella sp. nov. (section Vernae), having white, very small, clitocyboid basidiomata with white, strigose mycelial tomentum at the base of the stipe and trichodermial
elements in the pileipellis, occurs on leaf litter in deciduous oak forests. (2) Crepidotus longicomatus sp.nov. (section Echinospori), forms very small (up to 3.5 mm in diameter), reniform basidiomata densely covered overall with white to pale yellow, erect,
thick-walled, long hairs. It has melleous, echinulate basidiospores, and was found on fallen dead branches in lowland oak
forests. (3) Crepidotus virgineus sp. nov. (section Crepidotus), forming pure white, reniform basidiomata, has smooth, ellipsoid basidiospores, subfusiform-pedicellate to irregularly cylindrical
cheilocystidia, and abundant clamp connections. It occurs on fallen dead branches in lowland oak forests.

Hymenochaete rhododendricola sp. nov. and Hymenochaete quercicola sp. nov. are described from Xizang Autonomous Region (Tibet), southwestern China. Hymenochaete rhododendricola is distinct in the genus by its large and heavily enmeshed setae, and growing on dead branches of Rhododendron. Cortinarius breviradicatus sp. nov., found in deciduous forests, is described and illustrated from Niigata, Japan. It is characterized by its medium-sized
to large dark brown basidiocarp, acutely conical pileus, and rooting stipe, and by subglobose to broadly ellipsoid basidiospores.
In addition, the extracting solution from its basidiocarps exhibits a strong fluorescence around 400–430 nm in ultraviolet
radiation (250 nm), which was observed in a species of Cortinarius sect. Orellani. The new species belongs to the section Orellani. The differences between the new taxon and similar species are briefly discussed. 相似文献

Dichomitus hubeiensis Hai J. Li & B. K. Cui sp. nov. is described from the Hubei province, central China. It is distinct in the genus by its cream to straw‐yellow pore surface and large pores (1–2 per mm), both inamyloid and indextrinoid skeletal hyphae, presence of cystidioles and dendrohyphidia in the hymenium, more or less ellipsoid basidiospores (10–14 × 5.6–7.0 µm). Dichomitus kirkii originally described from Zimbabwe was found in the Yunan province, it is new to the Chinese fungal flora, and is characterized by its buff‐yellow to cinnamon‐buff pore surface, entire to lacerate pores (1–2 per mm) and large cylindrical basidiospores (20.8–25.0 × 6.8–8.0 µm). 相似文献
