本文运用系统优化原理,利用综合的手段,研究了育种目标约束下多个数量性状表现型向量与基因型向量的典范相关,提出了综合典范性状的数学模型.综合典范性状是S个遗传力较大的典范性状在育种目标约束下遗传力极大化的线性组合.综合典范性状作为选择指标,选择效率高,提高了多目标育种决策的科学性和预见性.  相似文献

香菇数量性状的相关性分析和主成分分析   总被引:9,自引:0,他引:9  
对110个香菇杂交菌株16个数量性状进行表型、遗传和环境相关性分析及主成分分析。由分析结果可知,单菇鲜重与有关单菇的其他5个性状在表型、遗传和环境等3个方面都存在极显著的正相关,与菇数存在3种极显著的负相关,与CMC酶活性、木聚糖酶活性分别呈显著和极显著遗传负相关。鲜菇总重与出菇期和原基期呈极显著的表型和遗传负相关,与菇数、两种菌丝生长速度及菌盖厚度呈极显著的遗传正相关。结果表明,在香菇育种工作中,菌丝生长速度和酶活性,可以作为对单菇性状和鲜菇总重进行选择的间接指标之一。主成分分析结果表明,16个性状可以缩减为6个主成分,按方差贡献率大小分别命名为单菇、发育、产量、酶活、原基和转色因子,6个主成分的方差累积贡献率为80.75%。在香菇育种中,可以按照育种目标对上述主成分因子或其分量进行单独选择。  相似文献

甘蔗品种资源的表型遗传多样性   总被引:6,自引:0,他引:6  
为了提高甘蔗品种资源的利用效率, 为甘蔗遗传育种亲本的选择、杂交组合配制及核心种质构建提供理论指导, 我们利用17个质量性状和5个数量性状分析了来自13个国家共20个地区的1,160份甘蔗品种资源的遗传变异、遗传结构和遗传距离等。结果表明: 5个数量性状在不同来源地品种群体之间的变异系数值(CV)变化较大, 说明不同来源地品种群体的数量遗传变异有较大差异, 其中来自海南的品种其群体遗传变异最丰富。质量性状的Shannon-Wiener多样性指数表明, 来自美国的品种群体遗传多样性最高, 其次为中国台湾, 第三为澳大利亚, 说明上述3个地区的甘蔗种质创新比较活跃, 在遗传育种中使用了更多表型性状多样化的亲本。不同来源地品种其群体的遗传分化系数(Gst)和基因流(Nm)显示甘蔗品种群体表型性状的遗传变异主要来自来源地内部, 且不同来源地品种群体之间存在较大的基因交流。遗传距离和UPGMA聚类分析结果表明, 各来源地品种群体之间遗传距离在0.0261–0.2945之间, 其中以福建和广东的品种最为相似, 其次为古巴和美国、广西和云南、澳大利亚和菲律宾、江西和四川、巴西和法国, 说明上述地区在杂交亲本的选择上比较相近。鉴于此, 在遗传育种中应加大利用具有丰富遗传多样性的品种材料并尽量避免选择同一组的品种相互杂交, 同时对于与其他来源地品种群体遗传距离较远的墨西哥品种群体在亲本选配时应给予更多关注。  相似文献

菜用大豆感官品质性状遗传变异及品质育种目标性状分析   总被引:5,自引:1,他引:4  
以全国菜用大豆主产区154个品种为试验材料,考察感官品质性状综合位、6个一级、5个二级感官性状及7个有关理化性状的遗传变异,分析它们间的相关,从而概括出品质育种目标的主要性状。结果表明:感官性状综合品质位、6个一级、5个三级感官性状均存在牟它的遗传变异,其中二级感官性状的遗传变异度均大于一级感官性状。有关理化性状中,百英鲜直、百粗鲜直、可容性糖的遗传变异系数较大,遗传力较高,选择潜力较大;英长、英厚、英宽的遗传变异系数、遗传力中等,单英粒数的遗传变异系数、遗传力偏低。相关、偏相关和通径分材结果,粒英外观、熟食口味、生食口感对感官品质综合评定值直接效应显并较大;其中英厚、英长、百英鲜直对粒英外观的直接效应显,甜味及可溶性糖为影响蒸食品味的主要图素,硬度对生食口感直接负效应显。菜用大豆品质育种中,感官品质鉴定应在蒸食口味、生食口感、粒英外观、粒色、生样可剥性、熟食香味六个一级性状基础上综合评价,注重前三项性状的选择,它们可以结合用百英鲜重、英长、英厚、可溶性糖含量、鲜味、豆醒味、粘性、硬度等性状进行辅助选择。  相似文献

一种扩展的方法能够在多个世代对具有多个数量性状位点的多性状选择进行最优化。这种方法的基础是在目标雨数中用综合遗传值替代单个性状遗传值,并在整个规划期内最大化所有世代选择反应的加权和。利用多阶段系统优化控制理论,整个最优化问题通过一个向前和向后的迭代循环解决。用一个实际育种猪群的育种参数来评价该方法的选择效果,并和标准QTL选择和常规BLUP选择进行比较。结果表明,优化选择要优于标准QTL选择和常规BLUP选择。经济权重对优化选择的影响较明显,随着达100kg日龄赋予的经济权重的增加,优化选择的优势越明显。优化选择通过两种方式增加总选择反应:1)选择早期减少一部分QTL选择反应;2)对达100kgH龄给予更大的权重。选择后期优化累积贴现选择比优化终端选择给予达100kgH龄更大的权重。  相似文献

采用禾谷类作物种子数量性状的遗传模型,分析了灿型黑米稻品种双列杂交F1和F2种子的粒重,粒长,粒宽和粒长/粒宽等粒形性状的遗传效应及其与米粒中矿质元素Fe,Zn,Mn和P含量的遗传相关性,结果表明:4种粒形性状同时受制于种子直接遗传效应,母体效应和细胞质作用影响,其中种子直接遗传效应比母体效应和细胞质效应的作用更大,且种子直接遗传效应以加性效应占主导,粒重,粒宽和粒长/粒宽的种子直接遗传率较高,杂种早代单粒选择效果较好,粒长的种子直接遗传率和母体遗传率均属中等,较高世代的杂种进行单株选择和单粒选择均有一定效果,4种粒形性状与其米粒中矿质元素Fe,Zn,Mn和P含量表现较强的种子直接加性相关,直接显性相关,细胞质相关,母体加性相关和母体显性相关,在特种稻育种实践中,可以通过粒形性的间接选择,达到改良其矿质元素含量等营养品质性状的目标。  相似文献

随着分子标记技术及其检测手段的发展,开发和应用成本的降低,分子标记辅助选择(MAS)在作物育种上的应用优势日益明显。本文综述了近年来MAS在基因聚合、基因转移和数量性状改良上的研究进展。总结了MAS的影响因素,包括标记与基因间的距离、目标性状的遗传率、群体大小、所用分子标记的数目、类型和相位等。并提出育种和定位同步进行、选择合适分子标记类型和数量、简化DNA提取方法、背景选择的逐步选择法、确定合适选择方案等MAS发展策略。  相似文献

Many local livestock breeds in developing countries are being replaced by exotic breeds, leading to a loss of genetic resources. In southern Mali, for the past two decades, a trend towards increasing crossbreeding between the trypanotolerant N’Dama cattle and the trypano-susceptible Fulani Zebu cattle has been taking place. A survey with 160 farmers owning a cattle herd was carried out in southern Mali to investigate their production objectives, as well as trait and breed preferences and correlated socio-economic determinants in order to understand farmers’ breeding decisions and to identify comparative advantages of three breed groups (N’Dama, Fulani Zebu and crossbreds) raised in the study area. Data were analyzed using an exploded logit model. The reasons for raising cattle, as well as trait and breed preferences reflected the multiple objectives of the farmers. Draught power and savings were the most important production objectives. Productive traits were ranked highest; farmers reported large body size as the most preferred trait, followed by fertility, draught ability and milk yield. Crossbreds were the favored breed group. Breed preferences were mainly explained by ‘resistance to disease’ for N’Dama cattle and ‘high market price’ for Fulani Zebu and crossbred cattle. Production objectives, trait and breed preferences were mainly influenced by farmer group (local farmers and settled transhumants). Local farmers put comparatively more emphasis on livestock functions linked to crop production such as draught power. They had a higher preference for traction ability as a selection trait and preferred N’Dama over Fulani Zebu cattle. Settled transhumants emphasized milk yield as a selection trait and preferred Fulani Zebu over N’Dama. The results indicate that the trend towards more crossbreeding will continue putting the N’Dama breed under high risk of genetic dilution in southern Mali. The N’Dama cattle remain a valuable breed due to their adaptive traits such as disease and drought tolerance and their good traction ability, fulfilling the diverse objectives of local farmers. Crossbreeding was found to be a promising breeding strategy, which might contribute to the maintenance of the local breed, provided that breeding schemes are thoroughly planned and organized.  相似文献

Quantitative trait loci (QTLs) for pollen thermotolerance detected in maize   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
Pollen thermotolerance is an important component of the adaptability of crops to high temperature stress. The tolerance level of the different genotypes in a population of 45 maize recombinant inbred lines was determined as the degree of injury caused by high temperature to pollen germinability (IPGG) and pollen tube growth (IPTG) in an in vitro assay. Both traits revealed quantitative variability and high heritability. The traits were genetically dissected by the analysis of molecular markers using 184 mapped restriction fragment length polymorphisms (RFLPs). Significant genetic correlation between the markers and the trait allowed us to identify a minimum number of five quatitative trait loci (QTLs) for IPGG and six QTLs for IPTG. Their chromosomal localization indicated that the two characters are controlled by different sets of genes. In addition, IPGG and IPTG were shown to be basically independent of the pollen germination ability and pollen tube growth rate under non-stress conditions. These results are discussed in relation to their possible utilization in a breeding strategy for the improvement of thermotolerance in maize.  相似文献

Effects of individual quantitative trait loci (QTLs) can be isolated with the aid of linked genetic markers. Most studies have analyzed each marker or pair of linked markers separately for each trait included in the analysis. Thus, the number of contrasts tested can be quite large. The experimentwise type-I error can be readily derived from the nominal type-I error if all contrasts are statistically independent, but different traits are generally correlated. A new set of uncorrelated traits can be derived by application of a canonical transformation. The total number of effective traits will generally be less than the original set. An example is presented for DNA microsatellite D21S4, which is used as a marker for milk production traits of Israeli dairy cattle. This locus had significant effects on milk and protein production but not on fat. It had a significant effect on only one of the canonical variables that was highly correlated with both milk and protein, and this variable explained 82% of the total variance. Thus, it can be concluded that a single QTL is affecting both traits. The effects on the original traits could be derived by a reverse transformation of the effects on the canonical variable.  相似文献

Results from quantitative trait loci studies cannot be readily implemented into breeding schemes through marker assisted selection because of uncertainty about whether the quantitative trait loci identified are real and whether the identified quantitative trait loci are segregating in the breeding population. The present paper outlines and discusses strategies to reduce uncertainty in the results from quantitative trait loci studies. One strategy to confirm results from quantitative trait loci studies is to combine P -values from many quantitative trait loci experiments, while another is to establish a confirmation study. The power of a confirmation study must be high to ensure that the postulated quantitative trait loci can be verified. In the calculation of the experimental power, there are many issues that have to be addressed: size of the quantitative trait loci to be detected, significance level required, experimental design and expected heterozygosity for the design. To ensure marker assisted selection can be quickly implemented once quantitative trait loci are confirmed, DNA samples should be retained from daughters, and the sires and dams of elite sires.  相似文献

Many of the functional traits considered in animal breeding can be analyzed as threshold traits or survival traits with examples including disease traits, conformation scores, calving difficulty and longevity. In this paper we derive and implement a bivariate quantitative genetic model for a threshold character and a survival trait that are genetically and environmentally correlated. For the survival trait, we considered the Weibull log-normal animal frailty model. A Bayesian approach using Gibbs sampling was adopted in which model parameters were augmented with unobserved liabilities associated with the threshold trait. The fully conditional posterior distributions associated with parameters of the threshold trait reduced to well known distributions. For the survival trait the two baseline Weibull parameters were updated jointly by a Metropolis-Hastings step. The remaining model parameters with non-normalized fully conditional distributions were updated univariately using adaptive rejection sampling. The Gibbs sampler was tested in a simulation study and illustrated in a joint analysis of calving difficulty and longevity of dairy cattle. The simulation study showed that the estimated marginal posterior distributions covered well and placed high density to the true values used in the simulation of data. The data analysis of calving difficulty and longevity showed that genetic variation exists for both traits. The additive genetic correlation was moderately favorable with marginal posterior mean equal to 0.37 and 95% central posterior credibility interval ranging between 0.11 and 0.61. Therefore, this study suggests that selection for improving one of the two traits will be beneficial for the other trait as well.  相似文献

The candidate gene (CG) approach has been applied in plant genetics in the past decade for the characterisation and cloning of Mendelian and quantitative trait loci (QTLs). It constitutes a complementary strategy to map-based cloning and insertional mutagenesis. The goal of this paper is to present an overview of CG analyses in plant genetics. CG analysis is based on the hypothesis that known-function genes (the candidate genes) could correspond to loci controlling traits of interest. CGs refer either to cloned genes presumed to affect a given trait (`functional CGs') or to genes suggested by their close proximity on linkage maps to loci controlling the trait (`positional CGs'). In plant genetics, the most common way to identify a CG is to look for map co-segregation between CGs and loci affecting the trait. Statistical association analyses between molecular polymorphisms of the CG and variation in the trait of interest have also been carried out in a few studies. The final validation of a CG will be provided through physiological analyses, genetic transformation and/or sexual complementation. Theoretical and practical applications of validated CGs in plant genetics and breeding are discussed.  相似文献

Wheat resistance to common bunt is a highly desirable trait for environmentally friendly grain grade protection. Valuable breeding achievements have been made to develop wheat varieties with enhanced resistance to the disease, and mapping of race-specific resistance genes has been reported. However, less is known of the chromosomal regions that control non-race specific resistance to common bunt. In this study, we have characterized a segregating population of 185 doubled haploid spring wheat lines derived from the cross RL4452 × AC Domain. Reactions to a mixture of common bunt races were assessed under field simulated spring-sown conditions in greenhouses in two locations over 2 years. A total 369 polymorphic maker loci including 356 microsatellite loci, five expressed sequences tag (ESTs), and eight genes were used to develop a linkage map. Quantitative trait loci (QTL) analysis using composite interval mapping detected three QTLs associated with common bunt resistance, of which two were located on chromosome 1B and one on chromosome 7A. AC Domain alleles contributed the common bunt resistance at all three QTLs. Usefulness of gene tagging within the identified chromosomal regions for common bunt resistance breeding is discussed.  相似文献
