采用双向指示种分析(TWINSPAN)和典范对应分析(CCA)方法,研究了滇西北高原纳帕海湖滨湿地退化特征、规律与过程.结果表明: 纳帕海湖滨湿地植物群落可以划分为4个群丛,群落演替规律为水生植物群落→沼泽植物群落→沼泽化草甸植物群落→草甸植物群落.随植物群落演替,群落盖度、密度、多样性指数、物种丰富度和地上生物量均增大,群落高度减小;植物水分生态型演替规律为水生植物→沼生植物→湿生植物→中生植物.随群落演替,湿地水体矿化度、硬度和碱度均降低,氨氮和总磷含量升高,总氮和硝态氮含量变化不明显;土壤pH、有机质和全氮含量逐渐降低,全磷和全钾含量逐渐升高,速效氮和速效磷含量先增大后减小.CCA分析表明,群落结构和物种组成主要受水分梯度影响,土壤pH、全磷和湿地水的总氮、氨氮对湿地植物物种分布和群落演替影响显著.  相似文献

Translocation of nitrogen in a vegetative wheat plant (Triticum aestivum)   总被引:7,自引:0,他引:7  
The translocation of nitrogen was studied in vegetative wheat plants ( Triticum aestivum L. cv. SUN 9E) grown with a limited supply of nitrogen. The concentration of nitrogen in xylem sap exuding from the excised roots was the same as the nitrogen concentration in the transpiration stream. Translocation of nitrogen to the shoot was, therefore, calculated as the product of the transpiration rate and the concentration of nitrogen in xylem exudates. On the 22nd day from sowing more nitrogen was translo-cated to the shoot than it incorporated, and 56% of the nitrogen translocated to the shoot was retranslocated to the roots. The nitrogen retranslocated to the roots was more than adequate to supply the requirements of the roots for growth, and the balance of the retranslocated nitrogen was reloaded into the xylem stream. Expressed as a proportion of the total increment of nitrogen in the plant on day 22, between 79 and 100% of the nitrogen absorbed by the plant was "cycled' in the plant (root → shoot → root → shoot). It is suggested that the size of this mobile reserve of nitrogen may vary depending on the growth requirement of the plant, its nitrogen-uptake capacity and the contribution of nitrogen from mobilisation of leaf protein during senescence.  相似文献

The Nicotiana sylvestris mutant, CMS, lacks the mitochondrial gene nad7 and functional complex I, and respires using low-affinity NADH (alternative) mitochondrial dehydrogenases. Here, we show that this adjustment of respiratory pathways is associated with a profound modification of foliar carbon-nitrogen balance. CMS leaves are characterized by abundant amino acids compared to either wild-type plants or CMS in which complex I function has been restored by nuclear transformation with the nad7 cDNA. The metabolite profile of CMS leaves is enriched in amino acids with low carbon/nitrogen and depleted in starch and 2-oxoglutarate. Deficiency in 2-oxoglutarate occurred despite increased citrate and malate and higher capacity of key anaplerotic enzymes, notably the mitochondrial NAD-dependent isocitrate dehydrogenase. The accumulation of nitrogen-rich amino acids was not accompanied by increased expression of enzymes involved in nitrogen assimilation. Partitioning of (15)N-nitrate into soluble amines was enhanced in CMS leaf discs compared to wild-type discs, especially in the dark. Analysis of pyridine nucleotides showed that both NAD and NADH were increased by 2-fold in CMS leaves. The growth retardation of CMS relative to the wild type was highly dependent on photoperiod, but at all photoperiod regimes the link between high contents of amino acids and NADH was observed. Together, the data provide strong evidence that (1) NADH availability is a critical factor in influencing the rate of nitrate assimilation and that (2) NAD status plays a crucial role in coordinating ammonia assimilation with the anaplerotic production of carbon skeletons.  相似文献

A water soluble, (1→6)-branched, (1→4)linked D-glucan (LB-B1),[α]21D=+174.2° (c 0.87, H2O), was obtained from a hot-water extract of the sporoderm-broken spores of Ganoderma lucidum (Fr.) Karst by HPSEC, with 0.001 mol/L sodium hydroxide as the eluant, the molecular weight ( Mw ) of LB-B1 was estimated to be 9.3×103. From the results of total hydrolysis, methylation analysis, acetolysis and 1D, 2D NMR experimentation, it was concluded that LB-B1 was composed of repeating units with the following structure:α-D-Glcp-(1→6)-α-D -Glcp-(1→6)-α-D-Glcp 1↓6→4)-α- D -Glcp-(1→4)-α- D -Glcp-(1→4)-α- D -Glcp-(1→4)-α-D-Glcp-(1→4-)-α-D-Glcp-(1→)n  相似文献

Five compounds (1-5) were isolated from the rhizome of Beesia calthaefolia (Maxim.) Ulbr. Based on chemical and spectral evidence, their structures were determined as beesic acid (9-phenyl-2E, 4E, 6E, 8E-nontetraenoic acid, 1), vanillic acid (2), oleanolic acid-3-O-α-L-arabinopyranosyl-28-O-α-L -rhamnopyranosyl-(1→4)-β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1→6)-β-D-glucopyranosyl ester (3), hederasaponin B (oleanolicacid-3-O-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1→2)-α-L-arabinopyranosyl-28-O-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1→4)-β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1→6)-β-D-glucopyranosyl ester, 4) and beesioside Q (oleanolic acid-3-O-β-D -glucopyranosyl-(1→3)-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1→2)-α-L-arabinopyranosyl-28-O-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1→4)-β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1→6)-β-D-glucopyranosyl ester, 5), respectively. Confinement of brown trout in small troughs of static water for 1 h at a density of six fish 251−1 stimulated the hypothalamic-pituitary-interrenal axis and resulted in an elevation of plasma cortisol from basal levels (less than 2 ng m1−1) to about 100 ng m1−1, the degree of stimulation being dependent upon water temperature. Confinement at a density of 30 fish 251−1 resulted in a 50% suppression of this response. It is demonstrated that this effect is mediated by changes in water chemistry and not by crowding per se . Experimental manipulation of the water chemistry showed that reduced pH (7.1 → 6.3), elevated free CO2 (63 → 520 μmoll−1) or elevated ammonia (8 → 1300 μg 1−1 as total ammonia nitrogen) had no individual effects on the interrenal response to acute confinement. Elevated ammonia in combination with reduced pH significantly increased the plasma cortisol levels in response to acute confinement, whereas a combination of reduced oxygen (100 → 20% saturation), elevated free CO2 and elevated ammonia markedly suppressed (∼ 50%) the cortisol response of both brown trout and rainbow trout to acute confinement in a manner similar to that observed with trout at high densities. A compensatory increase in plasma cortisol levels was observed during the subsequent recovery of fish which had been confined for 1 h in water of poor quality. These findings are discussed in relation to the exposure of fish to multiple stresses and to the role of corticosteroids in the stress response.  相似文献

Two new C 27 steroidal glycosides, named ophiopojaponin A (1) and B (2), together with two known ones, were isolated from the tubers of the famous traditional Chinese herb Ophiopogon japonicus Ker-Gawl. The spectroscopic and chemical evidence revealed their structures to be pennogenin 3-O-[2′-O-acetyl-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl (1→2)]-β-D-xylopyranosyl (1→3)-β-D-glucopyranoside (1), 26-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-(22ξ, 25R)-3β,14α,22ξ, 26-tetrahydroxyfurost-5-ene 3-O-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl (1→2)-β-D-glucopyranoside(2), diosgenin 3-O-[α-L-rhamnopyranosyl (1→2)]-β-D-xylopyrano-syl (1→3)-β-D-glucopyranoside (3) and ruscogenin 1-O-[α-L-rhamnopyranosyl (1→2)]-β-D-xylopyranosyl (1→3)-β-D-fucopyranoside (4).  相似文献

Choline and betaine are found in wheat flower tissues and have been implicated in stimulating hyphal growth of the primary causal agent of Fusarium head blight (FHB), Gibberella zeae. Choline metabolizing strains (CMS) from wheat anthers may therefore be a useful source of antagonists of G. zeae. One-hundred twenty-three of 738 microbial strains that were recovered from wheat anthers collected from plants grown in Illinois and Ohio were CMS as determined by growth in a liquid medium containing choline as a sole carbon and nitrogen source and a colorimetric, choline oxidase-based assay of culture filtrate. Thirty-one out of 123 CMS reduced FHB disease severity by at least 25% in greenhouse tests on wheat and 17 reduced FHB severity by at least 50%. All five CMS selected for field testing in 2003 reduced disease severity compared to the untreated check at both field locations on moderately resistant cultivar Freedom. Freedom wheat treated with Pseudomonas sp. AS 64.4 had 63% and 46% less FHB severity than untreated wheat at the two sites. Three of five CMS reduced severity at both locations on susceptible cultivar Pioneer Brand 2545. Disease control was comparable to that obtained using the fungicide Folicur 3.6F. Selection of wheat anther colonists for ability to utilize choline as a sole carbon and nitrogen source has utility as a screening tool in the search for efficacious antagonists of G. zeae although choline utilization does not insure that an isolate will be an effective biocontrol agent against Fusarium head blight.  相似文献

Abstract— Two glycolipids, accumulated in the spinal ganglia of a patient with Fabry's disease were identified as: galactosyl (α1 → 4) galactosyl (β1 → 4) glucosyl(1 → 1) ceramide (CTH) and galactosyl (α1 → 4) galactosyl(1 → 1) ceramide (CDG). Only one glycolipid which had the same structure as the CTH in the spinal ganglia accumulated in the sympathetic ganglia of the patient. In the nervous system, CTH contained behenic acid (C22:0) as the major fatty acid. In the spinal ganglia, CDG also contained behenic acid as the major fatty acid.  相似文献

The nutritional value of cane molasses and condensed molasses solubles (CMS, a highnitrogen by-product from the fermentation of beet molasses) was studied in two metabolism experiments with sheep.Nitrogen balance and the apparent digestibility of dry matter, organic matter, ether extract and acid detergent fibre in a barley-based control diet were not affected when 10 or 20% barley dry matter was replaced by either molasses or CMS dry matter. The digestibility of crude protein was significantly increased by CMS, because it increased the crude protein content of the rations. There was a positive linear relationship between crude protein and digestible protein as a percentage of the dry matter. The digestibility of nitrogen-free extract was depressed by the inclusion of molasses or CMS. Digestibility of energy was not significantly influenced by the inclusion of molasses at 10 or 20% or CMS at 10% but was depressed by the inclusion of CMS at 20%. The digestible energy of molasses was 82% of that of barley and the digestible energy of CMS was 84% of that of molasses.The extent of fermentation of ration components was studied in sheep with rumen and duodenal re-entrant cannulae. Although the apparent digestibility of dry matter, organic matter and gross energy was not affected by 20% molasses or CMS, the concentration of butyric acid in the rumen liquor was significantly increased at the expense of propionic acid. The concentration of ammonia in the rumen was elevated by high nitrogen intake. High concentrations of ammonia in the rumen liquor caused proportional excretion of nitrogen in urine.  相似文献

An exo-β-(1β3)-glucanase derived from Selerotinia libertiana induced growth of Avena sativa coleoptiles and degraded hemicelluloses and β-(1→4):(1→3) mixed linked glucan. However, neither endo-β-(1→4)- nor endo-β-(1→3)-glucanase activity could be detected in the enzyme preparation. Nojirimycin inhibited the glucan degradation caused by the enzyme but glucono-1,5-lactone did not. Another exo-β-(1→3)-glucanase derived from Basidiomycete QM 806 did not induce coleoptile growth and did not degrade the glucan. Growth-inducing properties of exo-β-(1→3)-glucanases are discussed.  相似文献

The aim of this study was to investigate the S -adenosylmethionine dependent N -methyltransferase(s) (NMT) associated with the three methylation steps in the caffeine biosynthesis pathway in tea ( Camellia sinensis L.). NMT activity in cell-free preparations from young leaves was purified by anion-exchange and gel-filtration column chromatography. In both systems, a single zone of NMT activity, with broad substrate specificity was detected. The N-3 position of dimethylxanthine and monomethylxanthines was methylated more readily than N-1 while comparatively little substitution occurred at the N-7 locus. When xanthosine was used as a substrate only the N-7 position was methylated. These results indicate that a single NMT may participate in the conversion of xanthosine to caffeine. The apparent Mr of the NMT, estimated by gel filtration chromatography, was 61 000. The substrate specificity of the NMT is compatible with the operation of a xanthosine → 7-methylxanthosine → 7-methylxanthine → theobromine → caffeine pathway as the main biosynthetic route to caffeine in young tea leaves. The data also indicate that the conversion of 7-methylxanthine → paraxanthine → caffeine may function as one of a number of minor pathways that also contribute to the production of caffeine.  相似文献

Abstract: Gangliosides GM1 [3H-labeled at the sphingosine (Sph) moiety] and GM2 [3H-labeled at the Sph or N -acetylgalactosamine (GalNAc) moiety] were administered to cultured Neuro2a cells for varying pulse (1–4 h) and chase (up to 4 h) periods, and their metabolic processing was followed. The main and earliest formed 3H-metabolites of [ Sph -3H]GM1 were GM2, asialo-GM1, asialo-GM2, and lactose-ceramide, and those of [ Sph -3H]GM2 were asialo-GM2 and lactose-ceramide. The asialo-GM1 and asialo-GM2 formed were isolated and chemically characterized. [3H]Asialo-GM2 was produced in identical amounts after treatment with equimolar [ Sph -3H]GM2 and [ GalNAc -3H]GM2. At low temperature or in the presence of chloroquine, the formation of all 3H-metabolites, including asialo-GM2 and asialo-GM1, was undetectable, indicating that ganglioside metabolic processing was an endocytosis- and lysosome-dependent process. These results demonstrate that in Neuro2a cells exogenous GM1 (and GM2) is mainly degraded through the pathway GM1 → GM2 → asialo-GM2 →→ Sph, with a minor fraction of GM1 undergoing degradation with the sequence GM1 → asialo-GM1 → asialo-GM2 →→ Sph. These findings are consistent with the hypothesis that Neuro2a cells contain a sialidase (likely of lysosomal nature) affecting ganglioside GM1 and GM2. The sialidase-mediated degradative pathway of GM1 and GM2 in Neuro2a cells might be related to the tumoral nature of these cells.  相似文献

To study the chemical constituents from traditional Chinese herb Ophiopogon japonicus (Thunb.) Ker-Gawl., a new steroidal glycoside, named ophiopojaponin C (1), together with two known ones, was isolated by column chromatography. Spectroscopic and chemical evidence revealed the structures to be ophiopogenin 3-O-[α-L-rhamnopyranosyl(1→2)]-β-D-xylopyranosyl(1→4)-β-D-glucopyranoside (1), diosgenin 3-O-[2-O-acetyl-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl(1→2)]-β-D-xylopyranosyl(1→3)-β-D-glucopyranoside (2), and ruscogenin 1-O-[2-O-acetyl-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl(1→2)]-β-D-xylopyranosyl(1→3)-β-D-fucopyranoside (3).  相似文献

Carboxymethylation of starch provided carboxymethyl starch (CMS) and the modification was followed by grafting CMS with acrylonitrile (AN) using ammonium per sulphate-N,N,N,N-tetramethylethylene diamine as initiator–accelerator system. Crosslinked networks of CMS and AN were obtained using two crosslinkers, viz., N,N-methylenebisacrylamide and ethyleneglycoldimethacrylate. The networks were further reacted with hydroxylamine to generate metal ion active amidoxime groups. The synthesized hydrogels were characterized by FTIR, SEM, nitrogen analysis and swelling studies to evaluate water uptake and the candidate polymers were used as matrices for the sorption of Fe2+ ions, as a model metal ion, as a function of time, temperature, pH and ionic strength. An attempt was made to investigate the thermodynamics of its sorption behaviour.  相似文献
