The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of 9450-MHz microwaves and extremely low frequency magnetic fields (ELFMF) on the phagocytic activity of rat macrophages in control rats and those treated with vitamins C and E. In the microwave group, 24 albino Wistar rats were exposed to microwaves (2.65 mW/cm2, specific absorption rate [SAR]: 1.80 W/kg) for 1 h/day for 21 days. Thirty-two albino Wistar rats were divided into four groups (one control, three experimental) (n = 8). The rats in the first exposure group were only exposed to microwaves for 1 h per day for 21 days. In addition to exposure with microwaves as in the first experimental group, vitamins E and C (150 mg/kg/day) were injected intraperitoneally into the rats in the second and third exposure groups, respectively. In the magnetic field exposure group, 26 albino Wistar rats were divided into two groups: the sham (n = 12) and exposed groups (n = 14). The rats in the experimental group were exposed to ELFMF (50 Hz, 0.75 mT) for 3 h/day for 3 weeks. After completing the exposure period, the rats were sacrificed under ketalar anesthesia. The viability of isolated alveolar macrophages of rats in the microwave and ELF groups was determined and compared to sham groups. The results were analyzed with the Mann–Whitney U test. In the microwave group, the phagocytic activity in the experimental groups was found to be higher than the sham groups. However, with phagocytic activity in rats treated with both microwaves and vitamins, only the vitamin C group was significant (p < 0.05). In the magnetic field group, the phagocytic activity of rats exposed to ELFMF was lower than that of the sham group, but the results were not significant (p > 0.05). Rectal temperatures of microwaveexposed groups were found to be significantly higher compared to the control group (p < 0.05).  相似文献

Cultured fibroblasts isolated from murine livers by tissue trypsinization were exposed to a static magnetic field (0.490 T) and to extremely low frequency (ELF) magnetic field (50 Hz, 0.020 T). The cultures were exposed to magnetic fields on four consecutive days for exposure times of 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, and 64 min. After such exposures and obtaining of fibroblast subcellular fractions, lipid peroxidation product—malondialdehyde (MDA) was measured. Increased peroxidation of fibroblasts' membrane structures exposed to an ELF magnetic field was observed in subcellular fractions—microsomal, mitochondrial, and nuclear. No changes in peroxidation of membrane structures were found in fibroblasts exposed to a static magnetic field.  相似文献

Wistar rats were divided into 4 groups and the following different synthetic diets were given for 1 month: group 1, calcium- and magnesium-deficient; group 2, calcium-deficient, magnesium-sufficient; group 3, calcium-sufficient, magnesium-deficient; group 4, calcium-sufficient, magnesium-sufficient (normal diet). After 1 month on these dietary regimens, the rats were killed. In calcium-deficiency (groups 1 and 2), thiamine concentration in synaptosomal and myelin-membrane fractions in the brain had decreased and the ratio of free thiamine to total thiamine and non-protein bound thiamine amount had increased in the brain. In magnesium-deficiency (groups 1 and 3), thiamine concentration in the liver and activities of thiamine-dependent enzymes in liver had decreased. These results indicate that calcium plays a role in binding thiamine in nerve membrane structures, which have a specific role in the conduction process of nervous tissues. In contrast, magnesium has little effect on thiamine in nervous tissues but may play an important role in thiamine-dependent enzyme systems in the liver.  相似文献

In this work we have studied some hematological and biochemical parameters of peripheral blood, as well as some histological aspects of liver and spleen during chronic exposure (1, 6, and 8 months) to extremely low-frequency magnetic fields (ELF-MF). Balb/C mice were exposed to an experimental sinusoidal magnetic wavefield of 60 Hz with a 0.11-mT intensity, generated in a system of Helmholtz coils. The results have shown no ELF-MF–cancer relationship during our experimental exposure time. However, leukopenia, hemoglobin decrease, and liver and spleen weight increase were observed. The bioeffects described could be correlated with spleen hyperfunction, which could have been produced by chronic exposure to this ELF-MF.  相似文献

Experiments were designed to determine the effects of parenteral administration of cortisone on mitochondrial numbers of rat liver cells. Observations were made in three ways: (1) after osmic acid fixation and appropriate stain, (2) by phase microscopy on intact cells, (3) by actual enumeration of mitochondria and nuclei to provide data on mitochondria per cell. The results of the experiments indicate that the mitochondria per cell are significantly reduced under the conditions used. Each experimental approach provided similar data, and each tended to support the results obtained from the others.  相似文献

大鼠连续4天腹腔注射1%台盼蓝后,观察隔天、隔周、隔二周后肝和肾的组织结构及PAS、AlP、AcP、G-6-Pase、Mg~(2+)-ATPase和SDH的活性变化。结果发现:肝细胞和肾小管的上皮细胞中有台盼蓝颗粒;肝PAS反应阴性;隔天后肝AlP、AcP、G-6-Pase和SDH活性增强,Mg~(2+)-ATPase活性减弱;肾的上述组化反应活性都减弱;隔二周后肝和肾的上述组化反应接近对照。实验结果提示:活体注射台盼蓝对肝和肾未构成实质性损伤,隔天后的组化变化可能是一种生理适应性反应。  相似文献

We studied the influence of a weak, extremely low-frequency magnetic field (MF) with a frequency of 50 Hz and a peak amplitude of 103 μT and aluminum solution (in the form of AlCl3) at different concentrations (0, 40, 70, 100, 130, 160, 400, 800, 2000, and 5000 μM) on the growth of spruce seedlings (Picea abies). The results showed that stimulatory and statistically significant MF effects on the growth of seedlings were observed only with a 100-μM aluminum solution. Slight stimulative effects were also observed within the range of concentrations between 40 and 160 μM Al3+ (all the stimulated groups taken together). Germination and fresh weight were not significantly influenced. At these concentrations the aluminum solution alone (without MF) or the MF alone (without Al3+) did not influence the growth parameters. These results suggest the importance of synergistic action of the MF with environmental factors as well as the existence of “physiologic windows” in addition to the frequency and power ones.  相似文献

In this study, we investigated how rat reproductive cells, testosterone, and the fatty acid composition of the phospholipid fraction of rats' testis cells are affected by extremely low frequency magnetic field (ELFMF). The change in fatty acid composition of the membrane phospholipid fraction can be the mechanism for this effect. We used a total of 26 male Wistar Albino rats, 14 experimental, and 12 controls. The experimental group rats were exposed to a magnetic field (0.8 mT) for 5 weeks, 3 hr per day. The control group rats were kept between inactive coils. After 5 weeks, the testis tissues and sperm cells of all rats were histopathologically investigated and sperm counts determined. Epididymal sperm count did not change compared to the control group (p>.05). Besides this, amorphous head, banana-like head, hammer head, coiled tail, abnormal mid-piece and tail, multiple, and cytoplasmic-droplet type cell numbers did not change in either group (p>.05). However, a statistical difference was found between the control and experimental groups with respect to head with lack of hook and isolated head type sperm (p<.05). In addition, testosterone levels were also found to be altered (p<.05). In the histopathologic investigation of testis tissue, decreased spermatogenesis in some seminiferous tubules, congestion in blood vessels of the interstitium, and increases in interstitial edema and Sertoli cells were observed. Leydig cells were found to be normal in appearance. The fatty acid of the testis cell membrane phospholipids was decreased in the experimental group with respect to the control group.  相似文献

Hepatocyte factor (HGF) has been shown to have a pleiotropic function to act as a potent organotropic factor in the regeneration of injury in various organs, including the liver, kidney and lung. To examine the involvement of HGF in radiation injury, the authors analysed the changes in HGF mRNA and HGF protein levels in the rat organs (liver, lung, kidney) and plasma following 6 Gy of total body irradiation. Expression of HGF mRNA in the liver and kidney increased 6–48 h after total body irradiation and returned to previous values 1 week later. HGF protein levels in lung and liver showed 1.3-2 fold elevations 1–2 weeks after irradiation (P< 0.05). HGF levels in plasma stayed at undetectable levels up to 1 month after total body irradiation. The labelling index determined 2 weeks and 1 month after total body irradiation indicated no enhancement of regeneration. 比较研究脉冲电场和脉冲磁场对高血粘和高凝血的影响,探寻降低血液粘度,抑制凝血过快、过强的物理方法.每份血样等分9份,1份作对照,对另外8份分别作不同的脉冲电场或磁场处理.结果显示不同上升沿速率的脉冲电场和磁场对高血粘和高凝血的影响程度不同,上升沿速率为2.5 × 105T s-1的脉冲磁场使全血表观粘度η降低(P<0.01)、复钙凝血时间tr变长(P<0.01),血块的最大剪切应力τax变小(P<0.01).脉冲磁场作用能改善高血粘和高凝血状况.  相似文献

在部分肝切除(partial hepatectomy,PH)后的细胞激活(G0-G1)期(4h)、有丝分裂高峰期(36h)及以两者交叉方式进行连续部分肝切除(successive partial hepatectomy,SPH),观察其对大鼠生存和肝组织结构的影响。结果表明,大鼠对短间隔(间隔4和/或36h)连续部分肝切除的耐受极限取决于各次切除的肝量和间隔时间两个因素;连续部分肝切除引起的肝组织结构紊乱程度与部分肝切除次数正相关;细胞核数、有丝分裂指数与短间隔连续部分肝切除次数和方式显现复杂的相关性。依SPH中大鼠成活率、肝组织结构变化、生理生化变化为依据,确立了4组(E、G、K和M组)适合研究肝再生分子机理的短间隔连续部分肝切除模型(short interval successive partial hepatectomy,SISPH)。  相似文献

选用24只2月龄SD处女鼠配对分组,实验组日粮添加10μg/g塞曼特罗(CIM),试验期30天。与对照组比较,CIM显著提高大鼠生长速度(27.30%,P<0.01)和胴体比率,降低腰胁部脂肪重,提高腓肠肌、比目鱼肌和趾浅屈肌的鲜重和RNA合量及PNA/DNA值,同时提高大鼠垂体和血清GH水平分别达36.70%(P<0.01)和23.77%(P<0.05),降低血清脲氮含量。表明CIM可显著促进大鼠生长,降低体脂含量,促进肌肉肥大,促进蛋白沉积。其作用机理可能还与其促进GH的合成和分泌有关。  相似文献

We partially purified an inhibitory factor (LIF), isolated from 105,000 g supernatant of a saline adult rat liver homogenate. LIF stopped in vitro cell multiplication by blocking the G1—S transition, and reduced in vivo [3H]thymidine incorporation into liver DNA in two-thirds hepatectomized rats. This reduction in DNA synthesis was observed at 24 hr after hepatectomy, even when the LIF was injected before the beginning of the S phase, 10 hr after hepatectomy, i.e. when DNA polymerase activity had not yet increased. Under these experimental conditions, LIF in vivo treatment prevented α DNA polymerase activity from increasing after partial hepatectomy, so that enzyme activity at 24 hr in LIF-treated rats decreased compared to the controls. No direct inhibitory effect of LIF on α DNA polymerase was detected. LIF did not affect β DNA polymerase. These results suggest that LIF plays a part in controlling liver growth.  相似文献

—The subcutaneous administration of 2·0 mg DFP per kg to rats causes a diminution in the lysophosphatidylcholine content in the brain, which is followed by a decrease of glycerylphosphorylcholine concentration and by a reduced post mortem choline increase. This supports the hypothesis that a post mortem increase in choline is due to phosphatidylcholine breakdown. Since the amount of phosphatidylcholine in brains of di-isopropylfluorophosphate-treated rats increases, it is concluded that phospholipase A is inhibited by di-isopropylfluorophosphate, which corresponds to findings of other authors in vitro. The activity of glycerylphosphorylcholine diesterase (EC 3.1.4.2) is not altered.  相似文献

对高淀粉膳食(糖占总热量80%)对大鼠血脂、胰岛素及cAMP代谢的影响进行了研究。大鼠摄取高淀粉膳食3天,空腹血浆岛素及甘油三酯含量明显高于对照组(P<0.01;P<0.01)。6天后血浆甘油三酯含量增高近四倍(P<0.01),而血浆、肌肉和脂肪组织cAMP含量低于对照组,分别减低38%,45%和32%(P<0.05;P<0.05,0.1相似文献

实验在筒箭毒制动的麻醉与清醒大鼠上进行。用银球电极记录刺激腓神经引起的脊髓诱发电位,观察其在窒息和窒息后恢复通气过程中的变化。窒息后P波振幅最先降低,N波次之,A波在P、N波消失时下降到前对照的80%左右。窒息3分钟时恢复通气后,按A、N、P波的顺序恢复到前对照水平。窒息及其恢复过程中,不同于A波的变化,N、 P相伴改变。麻醉与清醒状态下,上述变化规律相似。结果提示,有突触活动参与的N波,特别是P波对窒息最敏感,反映初级传入末梢活动的A波对窒息有相当的耐受性。  相似文献
