Mites of the genus Holostaspella (Acari: Gamasida: Macrochelidae) in Indonesia

The genus Holostaspella of the family Macrochelidae consists of more than 30 species. Of these, seven species have been recorded from Indonesia. In the present study, we review the genus in Indonesia, record two species ( H. pulchella and H. similiornata ) for the first time from Indonesia, and describe two new species ( H. oblonga n. sp. and H. villosa n. sp.) on the basis of the specimens collected in Java and Sulawesi. A key to the species of the genus in Indonesia is also provided.     

About the fauna of the cestode family Hymenolepididae from ducks of Chukotka: on the validity of the genus Echinatrium

Four species of the genus Echinatrium Spassky et Jurpalova, 1965 are redescribed. The material was collected from ducks of the Chaunskaya lowland (Chukotka). Morphological study of genital apparatus in cestode species found was carried out. According to the priority rule, it is suggested that the genus Monosaccanthes Czaplinski, 1967 is a junior synonym of the genus Echinatrium.     

A new deep-sea pennatulacean (Anthozoa: Octocorallia: Chunellidae) from the Porcupine Abyssal Plain (NE Atlantic)

During the BENGAL cruises, an important collection of deep-sea benthic organisms was sampled. Among the pennatulacean colonies, a previously undescribed species of chunellid was collected. That material is here described as the type species of a new genus, Porcupinella gen. nov. The new genus and species are described based on material collected in the Porcupine Abyssal Plain (NE Atlantic), 4,839–4,847 m in depth. This is the first time that a chunellid is reported from the Atlantic Ocean. The new genus is compared with the other genera in the family, and some phylogenetic remarks about the families Chunellidae and Umbellulidae are also provided.     

中国角腹蚁属分类研究及一新种记述(膜翅目: 蚁科)

本文记述华南地区角腹蚁属 1新种 ,光亮角腹蚁 Recurvidris glabricepssp.nov.。新种与皮克氏角腹蚁 R.pickburni Bolton相似 ,但有如下不同 :头部及前胸背板光亮 ;并胸腹节刺较粗 ;结节具长的腹柄下突。文中还提供我国已知 3种角腹蚁工蚁分种检索表。新种正模标本保存于广西师范大学生物系 ,副模标本保存于嘉道理农场暨植物园和广西师范大学生物系。     

Second species in the Australian ant genus Peronomyrmex Viehmeyer (Hymenoptera: Formicidae)

A second species of the rare Australian ant genus Peronomyrmex is described from Victoria. This new species, P. bartoni , represents only the third time the genus has been collected, the previous records being the holotype of P. overbecki Viehmeyer from north-eastern New South Wales and a collection, subsequently lost, from northern Queensland.     

世界奇蚁属第三种记述(膜翅目:蚁科)

The third species of the ant genus Perissomyrmex in the world, P.fissus sp. nov., is collected from Ailao Mountain Nature Reserve of Yunnan Province. Perissomyrmex is a new record genus in China. Taxonomic key based on worker caste is provided for the 3 species: P.snyderi Smith, P monticola de Andrade, and P fissus sp. nov.     

A new species of Monstrilla (Copepoda: Monstrilloida) from a reef lagoon off the Mexican coast of the Caribbean Sea

From plankton samples taken at a Caribbean reef lagoon off the eastern coast of the Yucatan Peninsula, an undescribed species of a monstrilloid copepod belonging to the genus Monstrilla was collected. The new species is distinguished from the other species of the genus by the structure and proportional length of the antennulae, by the particular features of the spiniform genital process, and by its size. The new species constitutes the fourth report of the genus Monstrilla in the eastern coast of the Yucatan Peninsula.     

枝圆盾蚧属新种记述（同翅目：蚧总科：盾蚧科）

本文记述了枝圆盾蚧属Ｄｉａｓｐｉｄｉｏｔｕｓ Ｃｏｃｋｅｒｅｌｌ一新种,危枝圆盾蚧Ｄｉａｓｐｉｄｉｏｔｕ ｐｅｒｎｉｃｉａｂｉｌｕｓ ｓｐ．ｎｏｖ．,该属是盾蚧科Ｄｉａｓｐｉｄｉｄａｅ中的一个小属。新种的模式标本保存在中国科学院动物研究所。     

甘肃南部巴蜗牛科(腹足纲:巴蜗牛科)的种类名录

本文根据甘肃南部所辖地区采集的腹足目巴蜗牛科标本和国内外报道,对其进行系统整理研究,列出巴蜗牛科动物76种,分隶11属1科,其中30种为甘肃省新纪录.     

中国盗隐翅虫属一新种记述(鞘翅目:隐翅虫科:四眼隐翅虫亚科)

记述采自我国浙江省龙王山自然保护区和天目山自然保护区的盗隐翅虫属Lesteva 1新种——黄盗隐翅虫Lesteva ochra,sp．nov．。新种与Rougemont(2000)记载于同一产地的Lesteva elegantula在斑纹上较相似,但根据体形的差异可与后者区分;新种在体形上与记载于同一产地的Lesteva flavopuctata较相似,但根据阳茎的侧叶短于中叶可与后者区分;新种的阳茎形状与记载于同一产地的Lesteva submaculata较相似,但侧叶内侧没有柔毛可与后者区分。正模：♂,浙江省龙王山,2004-Ⅳ-24,朱礼龙采;副模：1♂,2♀♀,采集地点同正模,2004-Ⅳ-23,汤亮采;1♀,采集地点及日期同正模,胡佳耀采;1♂,1♀,浙江省临安市天目山,2001-Ⅴ-02,宋晨祖采。     

New species of Metrinura Mendes (Zygentoma: Nicoletiidae) from Queensland, Australia

Abstract  Two new species of silverfish of the genus Metrinura Mendes are described from the Undara lava flow region, Queensland, Australia. Metrinura subtropica sp. nov. was collected in caves and Metrinura tropica sp. nov. from under rocks or logs. A key to all species in the genus is provided.     

Description of a sexually dimorphic oribatid mite (Arachnida: Acari: Oribatida) from canopy habitats of the Ryukyu Archipelago, southwestern Japan

A new species in the monotypic genus Symbioribates, S. aokii sp. nov., is described on the basis of adult material collected from canopy habitats and wind traps in the Ryukyu Archipelago, southwestern Japan. Symbioribates aokii sp. nov. expresses different dimorphism in the octotaxic system from that of the type species, S. papuensis Aoki, 1966. The characteristics of this genus and its relationships to others of the superfamily Oripodoidea are discussed and a revised diagnosis of the family is given.     

Revision of the genus Evanos Laporte de Castelnau, 1840, with the description of a second species (Coleoptera: Scarabaeoidea: Rutelidae: Geniatini)

The monotypic genus Evanos (Coleoptera: Rutelidae: Geniatini) is revised and a new species, E. danieleae Grossi, n. sp., is described based on specimens collected from Minas Gerais, Brazil. A lectotype is designated for Evanos villatus. Diagnostic characters and comments about the taxonomic status of the genus are given, as well as a key for both species and a distribution map with the known locality records.

中国异环足摇蚊属研究(双翅目:摇蚊科)(英文)

异环足摇蚊属隶属于双翅目摇蚊科直突摇蚊亚科,全世界已记录4种。本文对中国产本属进行了系统研究。记述了2新种:简异环足摇蚊A.simplex sp.nov.和扎陵异环足摇蚊A.zhalingensis sp.nov.,重新核定了亮异环足摇蚊A.lucens(Zett.)。提供了世界本属雄成虫检索表。依据中国标本和相关文献,对Cranston等1989年所描述的本属的触角比、前足比、下附器的形状等属级鉴别特征予以订正。模式标本均保存于南开大学生物系。简异环足摇蚊A.simplexsp.nov.:正模:雄性,西藏建日,9／3／1987,邓成玉采。与本属已知种的区别:后足胫节无栉;无额鬃和唇基毛; R2+3脉清晰。扎陵异环足摇蚊A.zhalingensis sp.nov.:正模:雄性,青海扎陵湖,8／20／1986,任淑智采。与本属已知种的区别:个体大;无唇基毛;翅臀叶强烈突出,半球状;下附器三角形,强烈骨化,抱器端节具有13根粗长的刚毛。
