The objectives of this research were to prepare celecoxib proniosomes and evaluate the influence of proniosomal formulation on the oral bioavailability of the drug in human volunteers. A new proniosomal delivery system for a poorly water-soluble drug such as celecoxib was developed and subjected to in vitro and in vivo studies. Proniosomes were prepared by sequential spraying method, which consisted of cholesterol, span 60, and dicetyl phosphate in a molar ratio of 1:1: 0.1, respectively. The average entrapment percent of celecoxib proniosome-derived niosomes was about 95%. The prepared proniosomes showed marked enhancement in the dissolution of celecoxib as compared to pure drug powder. The bioavailability of 200 mg single dose of both celecoxib proniosomal formulation and a conventional marketed celecoxib capsule was studied in human volunteers. The obtained results show that the proniosomal formulation significantly improved the extent of celecoxib absorption than conventional capsule. The mean relative bioavailability of the proniosomal formulation to the conventional capsule was 172.06 ± 0.14%. The mean T max for celecoxib was prolonged when given as proniosomal capsule. There was no significant difference between the values of K el and t 1/2 for both celecoxib preparations. In conclusion, the proniosomal oral delivery system of celecoxib with improved bioavailability was established.  相似文献

In this study, we have formulated chitosan-coated sodium alginate microparticles containing meloxicam (MLX) and aimed to investigate the correlation between in vitro release and in vivo absorbed percentages of meloxicam. The microparticle formulations were prepared by orifice ionic gelation method with two different sodium alginate concentrations, as 1% and 2% (w/v), in order to provide different release rates. Additionally, an oral solution containing 15 mg of meloxicam was administered as the reference solution for evaluation of in vitro/in vivo correlation (ivivc). Following in vitro characterization, plasma levels of MLX and pharmacokinetic parameters [elimination half-life (t 1/2), maximum plasma concentration (C max), time for C max (t max)] after oral administration to New Zealand rabbits were determined. Area under plasma concentration–time curve (AUC0–∞) was calculated by using trapezoidal method. A linear regression was investigated between released% (in vitro) and absorbed% (in vivo) with a model-independent deconvolution approach. As a result, increase in sodium alginate content lengthened in vitro release time and in vivo t max value. In addition, for ivivc, linear regression equations with r 2 values of 0.8563 and 0.9402 were obtained for microparticles containing 1% and 2% (w/v) sodium alginate, respectively. Lower prediction error for 2% sodium alginate formulations (7.419 ± 4.068) compared to 1% sodium alginate formulations (9.458 ± 5.106) indicated a more precise ivivc for 2% sodium alginate formulation.  相似文献

Allophycocyanin (APC) is a minor component of phycobiliproteins in cyanobacteria and red algae. This paper describes a simple and inexpensive extracting method for isolating APC from Spirulina (Arthrospira) platensis with high efficiency. The crude phycobiliprotein extract was pretreated by ammonium sulfate fractionation. Then, by adding hydroxylapatite into crude phycobiliprotein extract dissolved in 20 mM phosphate buffer (pH 7.0), APC was selectively adsorbed by hydroxylapatite but C-phycocyanin (C-PC) was not. The hydroxylapatite was collected and APC was extracted from the crude phycobiliprotein extract. Then, the enriched APC was washed off from the hydroxylapatite using 100 mM phosphate buffer (pH 7.0). In this simple extracting method it was easy to remove C-PC and isolate APC in large amounts. The absorbance ratio A 650/A 280 of extracted APC reached 2.0. The recovery yield was 70%, representing 4.61 mg · g−1 wet weight. The extracted APC could be further purified by a simple anion-exchange chromatography with a pH gradient from 5.6 to 4.0. The absorbance ratio A 650/A 280 of the purified APC reached 5.0, and the overall recovery yield was 43%, representing 2.83 mg · g−1 wet weight. Its purity was confirmed by native polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (PAGE) and sodium dodecyl sulfate-PAGE.  相似文献

The purpose of this study was to develop a once daily sustained release tablet of aceclofenac using chitosan and an enteric coating polymer (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose phthalate or cellulose acetate phthalate). Overall sustained release for 24 h was achieved by preparing a double-layer tablet in which the immediate release layer was formulated for a prompt release of the drug and the sustained release layer was designed to achieve a prolonged release of drug. The preformulation studies like IR spectroscopic and differential scanning calorimetry showed the absence of drug–excipient interactions. The tablets were found within the permissible limits for various physicochemical parameters. Scanning electron microscopy was used to visualize the surface morphology of the tablets and to confirm drug release mechanisms. Good equivalence in the drug release profile was observed when drug release pattern of the tablet containing chitosan and hydroxypropyl methylcellulose phthalate (M-7) was compared with that of marketed tablet. The optimized tablets were stable at accelerated storage conditions for 6 months with respect to drug content and physical appearance. The results of pharmacokinetic studies in human volunteers showed that the optimized tablet (M-7) exhibited no difference in the in vivo drug release in comparison with marketed tablet. No significant difference between the values of pharmacokinetic parameters of M-7 and marketed tablets was observed (p > 0.05; 95% confidence intervals). However the clinical studies in large scale and, long term and extensive stability studies at different conditions are required to confirm these results.  相似文献

To develop a microbial treatment of edible oil-contaminated wastewater, microorganisms capable of rapidly degrading edible oil were screened. The screening study yielded a yeast coculture comprising Rhodotorula pacifica strain ST3411 and Cryptococcus laurentii strain ST3412. The coculture was able to degrade efficiently even at low contents of nitrogen ([NH4–N] = 240 mg/L) and phosphorus sources ([PO4–P] = 90 mg/L). The 24-h degradation rate of 3,000 ppm mixed oils (salad oil/lard/beef tallow, 1:1 w/w) at 20°C was 39.8% ± 9.9% (means ± standard deviations of eight replicates). The highest degradation rate was observed at 20°C and pH 8. In a scaled-up experiment, the salad oil was rapidly degraded by the coculture from 671 ± 52.0 to 143 ± 96.7 ppm in 24 h, and the degradation rate was 79.4% ± 13.8% (means ± standard deviations of three replicates). In addition, a repetitive degradation was observed with the cell growth by only pH adjustment without addition of the cells.  相似文献

Efficient plant regeneration is essential for successful transformation and in vitro polyploidy induction in mulberry. A high frequency (80%) of plant regeneration from hypocotyls occurred under in vitro conditions in mulberry (Morus multicaulis Poir.). We identified three key factors for enhancing successful regeneration based on earlier work: (1) hypocotyl position, (2) the combination and concentration of growth regulators, and (3) the addition of AgNO3. The highest frequency of shoot regeneration was achieved using hypocotyl segments, which are proximal to apical meristems, and the optimal culture conditions were Murashige and Skoog’s (MS) (Murashige and Skoog, 1962) basal medium supplemented with 3.0 mg l−1 6-benzylamino purine, 0.3 mg l−1 indole-3-acetic acid, 0.1% polyvinypyrrolidone, and 1.0 mg/l silver nitrate (AgNO3) under subdued light at 25 ± 2°C. Treating the shoots with 0.2% colchicine (dipping for 72 h) resulted in a 14% tetraploid frequency, whereas a 20% tetraploid frequency resulted from using a 0.25% colchicine (dripping for 5 d) treatment, as determined by chromosome number counts. The diploid plant chromosome number was 28 (2n = 2x = 28) and that of tetraploid plants was 56 (2n = 4x = 56). Regenerated shoots rooted easily in 8–10 d using half-strength basal MS medium with 0.5 mg l−1 indole-3-butyric acid and were successfully established in the soil.  相似文献

Bigtooth maple (Acer grandidentatum) is a promising ornamental tree that is not widely used in managed landscapes. Tissue culture has not been used successfully to propagate this taxon. We cultured single- and double-node explants from greenhouse-grown, 2-y old seedlings of bigtooth maples, which are indigenous to New Mexico, Texas, and Utah, on Murashige–Skoog (MS), Linsmaier–Skoog (LS), Driver–Kuniyuki Walnut (DKW), and Woody Plant (WPM) tissue culture media. Media affected shoot proliferation (P = 0.0242) but the zone of explant origin (P = 0.7594) did not. After four 30-d subcultures, explants on DKW media and WPM media produced 3.6 and 3.5 shoots per explant, respectively. Sprouting rates were highest on DKW, making DKW the best overall media for shoot proliferation. Double-node microshoots were rooted in vitro on DKW containing indole acetic acid (IAA). Microshoots represented six genotypes from three locations within Texas and New Mexico. Rooting percentage increased up to 15% as IAA concentration increased (P = 0.0040). There was 100% survival of rooted microshoots in vented Phytatrays containing one perlite: one peat moss (v/v). We conclude that DKW can be used to proliferate microshoots, and IAA induces rooting in microshoots of bigtooth maple.  相似文献

In the sublingual (SL) cavity, compared with the gastrointestinal tract, tablets are subjected to minimal physiological agitation, and a limited volume of saliva is available to facilitate disintegration and dissolution. None of the official compendial dissolution apparatuses and methods simulate these SL conditions. In this study, a custom-made dissolution apparatus was constructed, and a novel in vitro method that simulates SL conditions was evaluated. Several epinephrine 40 mg SL tablet formulations under development and two commercial SL tablets, isosorbide dinitrate 5 mg and nitroglycerin 0.6 mg, were studied. The dissolution medium was 2 mL of distilled water at 25°C. Dissolution was measured at 60 and 120 s. The novel in vitro method was validated for accuracy, reproducibility, and discrimination capability, and was compared with the official US Pharmacopeia (USP) dissolution method using apparatus 2 (Paddle). The data obtained following the novel in vitro method were accurate and reproducible. This method was capable of detecting minor changes in SL formulations that could not be detected using other in vitro tests. Results from the official USP dissolution method and our novel in vitro method were significantly different (p < 0.05). Results reflecting the dissolution of rapidly disintegrating tablets using simulated SL conditions were obtained using the novel in vitro dissolution method.  相似文献

The research into kinetics of styrene biodegradation by bacterial strain Pseudomonas sp. E-93486 coming from VTT Culture Collection (Finland) was presented in this work. Microbial growth tests in the presence of styrene as the sole carbon and energy source were performed both in batch and continuous cultures. Batch experiments were conducted for initial concentration of styrene in the liquid phase changed in the range of 5–90 g m−3. The Haldane model was found to be the best to fit the kinetic data, and the estimated constants of the equation were: μ m = 0.1188 h−1, K S = 5.984 mg l−1, and K i = 156.6 mg l−1. The yield coefficient mean value Y\textxs\textapp Y_{\text{xs}}^{\text{app}} for the batch culture was 0.72 gdry cells weight (gsubstrate)−1. The experiments conducted in a chemostat at various dilution rates (D = 0.035–0.1 h−1) made it possible to determine the value of the coefficient for maintenance metabolism m d = 0.0165 h−1 and the maximum yield coefficient value Y\textxs\textM = 0.913 Y_{\text{xs}}^{\text{M}} = 0.913 . Chemostat experiments confirmed the high value of yield coefficient Y\textxs\textapp Y_{\text{xs}}^{\text{app}} observed in the batch culture. The conducted experiments showed high activity of the examined strain in the styrene biodegradation process and a relatively low sensitivity to inhibition of its growth at higher concentrations of styrene in the solution. Such exceptional features of Pseudomonas sp. E-93486 make this bacterial strain the perfect candidate for technical applications.  相似文献

A polyhydroxyalkanote depolymerase gene from Thermobifida sp. isolate BCC23166 was cloned and expressed as a C-terminal His6-tagged fusion in Pichia pastoris. Primary structure analysis revealed that the enzyme PhaZ-Th is a member of a proposed new subgroup of SCL-PHA depolymerase containing a proline–serine repeat linker. PhaZ-Th was expressed as two glycosylated forms with apparent molecular weights of 61 and 70 kDa, respectively. The enzyme showed esterase activity toward p-nitrophenyl alkanotes with V max and K m of 3.63 ± 0.16 μmol min−1 mg−1 and 0.79 ± 0.12 mM, respectively, on p-nitrophenyl butyrate with optimal activity at 50–55°C and pH 7–8. Surface plasmon resonance (SPR) analysis demonstrated that PhaZ-Th catalyzed the degradation of poly-[(R)-3-hydroxybutyrate] (PHB) films, which was accelerated in (R)-3-hydroxyvalerate copolymers with a maximum degradation rate of 882 ng cm−2 h−1 for poly[(R)-3-hydroxybutyrate-co-3-hydroxyvalerate] (12 mol% V). Surface deterioration, especially on the amorphous regions of PHB films was observed after exposure to PhaZ-Th by atomic force microscopy. The use of P. pastoris as an alternative recombinant system for bioplastic degrading enzymes in secreted form and a sensitive SPR analytical technique will be of utility for further study of bioplastic degradation.  相似文献

Different concentrations of methyl jasmonate, spermine, casein hydrolysate, or progesterone combined with 16 mg/l 2 iP + 4 mg/l naphthalene acetic acid (NAA) were investigated in order to obtain higher multiplication rate and growth of Hippeastrum vittatum bulbs in vitro on MS basal medium. The highest multiplication rate (8.2 bulbs/explant) was attained with 80 mg/l spermine, while the highest bulb fresh weight (1.23 g/bulblet) was obtained with 4 mg/l methyl jasmonate. Progesterone at 20 mg/l or casein hydrolysate at 2.0 g/l gave the highest leaf length (14.1 and 13.2 cm, respectively). So, it can be advised to use 80 mg/l spermine combined with 16 mg/l 2 iP + 4 mg/l NAA to obtain the highest number of bulbs per explant with moderate leaf length and bulb fresh weight. Chemical analysis showed alternations in the alkaloid type ratio and number of compounds in the bulbs treated with methyl jasmonate (4 mg/l).  相似文献

The presence of the anaerobic spore former Clostridium in Arthrospira platensis destined for human consumption is generally not assessed during quality assurance procedures. As this nutraceutical is administered as complementary medicine to the immunocompromised, this study aimed to investigate the presence of these potential pathogens. Anaerobic counts performed on tablets from a single manufacturer indicated an excess of 105 CFU/endospores g−1 tablet for three different A. platensis batches. Tests for coliforms for use as “indicators” of pathogens in the tablets were negative. Using classic culture techniques, five species of Clostridium were isolated. Subsequent use of PCR-denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis (DGGE) fingerprinting of tablets showed a divergent microbial population, with a predominance of anaerobic endospore formers, including Clostridium. Sequencing of a 1.5 kb 16S rDNA clone library and phylogenetic analyses of prominent operational taxonomic units confirmed the presence of an additional five Clostridium spp. and other genera in the tablets. A composite molecular ladder, using 16S rRNA DGGE amplicons of 17 representative bacterial species was constructed to assist in identifying anaerobes present in tablets sourced from three different A. platensis manufacturers. Results indicated that commercial A. platensis preparations were contaminated with potentially hazardous clostridia and other anaerobic species. Results suggest that certain commercial A. platensis preparations require stringent microbial quality assurance measures to ensure safe use as a nutraceutical for the immunocompromised and the general public.  相似文献

We evaluated the uterus and ovaries of owl monkeys (Aotus azarai infulatus) via gynecological ultrasound examination. We evaluated the subjects in 2 different time periods. The first period (P1) was characterized by the absence of mating, with daily examinations, during 4 mo (n = 10). At the end of P1, we paired the subjects for 30 d, but without ultrasonographic evaluation. The second period (P2) was characterized by the presence of mating, with examinations once a week, during 7 consecutive months (n = 9). We evaluated the uterus and ovaries in sagittal and transverse scans, using a 5–12 MHz linear array probe. The uterine volume (UV) was directly proportional to the number of previous parturitions. The right ovary volume (RtOV) is greater than the left (LtOV) in P1 and P2. There is a positive correlation (p < 0.05) between the females’ mass, RtOV (r = 0.28) and LtOV (r = 0.16).  相似文献

Controlled-release (CR) tablet formulation of olanzapine was developed using a binary mixture of Methocel® K100 LV-CR and Ethocel® standard 7FP premium by the dry granulation slugging method. Drug release kinetics of CR tablet formulations F1, F2, and F3, each one suitably compressed for 9-, 12-, and 15-kg hardness, were determined in a dissolution media of 0.1 N HCl (pH 1.5) and phosphate buffer (pH 6.8) using type II dissolution apparatus with paddles run at 50 rpm. Ethocel® was found to be distinctly controlling drug release, whereas the hardness of tablets and pH of the dissolution media did not significantly affect release kinetics. The CR test tablets containing 30% Methocel® and 60% Ethocel® (F3) with 12-kg hardness exhibited pH-independent zero-order release kinetics for 24 h. In vivo performance of the CR test tablet and conventional reference tablet were determined in rabbit serum using high-performance liquid chromatography coupled with electrochemical detector. Bioavailability parameters including Cmax, Tmax, and AUC0–48 h of both tablets were compared. The CR test tablets produced optimized Cmax and extended Tmax (P < 0.05). A good correlation of drug absorption in vivo and drug release in vitro (R2 = 0.9082) was observed. Relative bioavailability of the test tablet was calculated as 94%. The manufacturing process employed was reproducible and the CR test tablets were stable for 6 months at 40 ± 2°C/75 ± 5% relative humidity. It was concluded that the CR test tablet formulation successfully developed may improve tolerability and patient adherence by reducing adverse effects.Key words: bioavailability, controlled release, Ethocel®, olanzapine  相似文献

The taxonomy of Saimiri is controversial because morphological characteristics, traditionally used for identification, are insufficient to distinguish species and subspecies. Genetic studies of specimens become relevant for captive management, especially considering their frequently unknown geographical origin. We analyzed phenotypic and genetic parameters in Saimiri spp. in Argentinean zoological gardens and biological stations to provide a more accurate taxonomic identification. We studied 27 males and 19 females of Saimiri spp. The cytogenetic analysis in mitotic metaphases corroborated a modal number of 2N = 44, XX/XY, and FN = 75 for males and FN = 76 for females. G- and C-bands, fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) and the pelage coloration pattern of all the specimens corresponded to Saimiri boliviensis boliviensis. We characterized for the first time the sperm cell morphology and morphometry (mean ± SE): total length: 71.39 ± 5.40 μm; head length: 5.71 ± 0.81 μm; head width: 3.76 ± 0.70 μm; acrosome length: 3.70 ± 0.82 μm; midpiece length: 12.20 ± 2.22 μm. Researchers can use the characterization of the sperm morphology as another parameter for taxonomic identification that, together with cytogenetic and molecular ones, would allow a more precise identification of individual Saimiri boliviensis boliviensis.  相似文献

The subsection Asperae of genus Hydrangea L. (Hydrangeaceae) has been investigated for three reasons: several ambiguous classifications concerning Hydrangea aspera have been published, unexpected differences in genome size among seven accessions have been reported Cerbah et al. (Theor Appl Genet 103:45–51, 2001), and two atypical chromosome numbers (2n = 30 for Hydrangea involucrata and 2n = 34 for H. aspera) have been found when all other species of the genus present 2n = 36. Therefore, these two species and four subspecies of Hydrangea in all 29 accessions were analyzed for their genome size, chromosome number, and karyotype features. This investigation includes flow cytometric measurements of nuclear DNA content and bases composition (GC%), fluorochrome banding for detection of GC- and AT-rich DNA regions, and fluorescent in situ hybridisation (FISH) for chromosome mapping of 5 S and 18 S-5.8 S-26 S rDNA genes. In the H. aspera complex, the genome size ranged from 2.98 (subsp. sargentiana) to 4.67 pg/2C (subsp. aspera), an exceptional intraspecific variation of 1.57-fold. The mean base composition was 40.5% GC. Our report establishes the first karyotype for the species H. involucrata, and for the subspecies of H. aspera which indeed present different formulae, offering an element of discrimination. FISH and fluorochrome banding revealed the important differentiation between these two species (H. involucrata and H. aspera) and among four subspecies of the H. aspera complex. Our results are in agreement with the Chinese classification that places the groups Kawakami and Villosa as two different species: Hydrangea villosa Rehder and Hydrangea kawakami Hayata. This knowledge can contribute to effective germplasm management and horticultural use.  相似文献

The operational stabilities of nitrilases from Aspergillus niger K10 and Fusarium solani O1 were examined with 4-cyanopyridine as the substrate in continuous-stirred membrane reactors (CSMRs). The former enzyme was fairly stable at 30 °C with a deactivation constant (k d) and enzyme half-life of 0.014 h−1 and 50 h, respectively, but the latter exhibited an even higher stability characterized by k d = 0.008 h−1 and half-life of 87 h at 40 °C. Another advantage of this enzyme was its high chemoselectivity, i.e., selective transformation of nitriles into carboxylic acids, while the amide formed a high ratio of A. niger K10 nitrilase product. High conversion rates (>90%) were maintained for about 52 h using the nitrilase from F. solani O1 immobilized in cross-linked enzyme aggregates (CLEAs). The purity of isonicotinic acid was increased from 98% to >99.9% by using two CSMRs connected in series, the first one containing the F. solani O1 nitrilase and the second the amidase from Rhodococcus erythropolis A4 (both enzymes as CLEAs), the amidase hydrolyzing the by-product isonicotinamide.  相似文献

Blooms of the toxic dinoflagellate, Karenia brevis, occur annually along the Gulf coast of Florida. Other species, like Karenia selliformis, are at times found in association. Hemolytic activity, the ability to lyse red blood cells, of two K. brevis clones (SP3 non-toxic (N-tox) and SP3 super toxic (S-tox)) from the Gulf of Mexico and a single clone of K. selliformis from New Zealand was investigated throughout a growth cycle. Activity is reported as effective concentration (EC50) values, the quantitative measure of hemolysis of human erythrocytes expressed as cell numbers. Both cells and media of K. selliformis cultures consistently produced potent levels of hemolysis (maximum EC50 = 4.88 × 103 cells) from inoculation until the population declined 35 days later. For SP3 N-tox and S-tox, no hemolytic activity was detectable until day 26 of sampling. The media of both SP3 N-tox and SP3 S-tox cultures consistently contained non-detectable or low levels of hemolysis compared to K. selliformis. Maximum EC50s for the SP3 clones were 1.80 × 106 and 1.97 × 106 cells, respectively. The experimental EC50 values observed represent ecologically relevant cell densities for K. selliformis, but not for the K. brevis clones. In addition, the hemolytic activity of gymnodimine A and various PbTx derivatives was examined in this study. Our findings indicate that the hemolytic capability of these dinoflagellates, especially K. selliformis, represents an additional component of toxicity aside from their already recognized toxins and that this activity may play a larger role than was previously considered. The purpose of this study was to extend the knowledge of the biology and toxicology of species within the genus Karenia.  相似文献

The house fly (Musca domestica L.) alimentary canal was evaluated for the potential of horizontal transfer of tetM on plasmid pCF10 among Enterococcus faecalis. Two sets of experiments were conducted: (1) house flies without surface sterilization and (2) surface-sterilized flies. Both sets of flies were exposed to E. faecalis OG1RF:pCF10 as donor for 12 h and then E. faecalis OG1SSp as recipient for 1 h. Another group of flies received the recipient first for 12 h followed by exposure to the donor strain for 1 h. House flies were screened daily to determine the donor, recipient, and transconjugant bacterial load for up to 5 days. In addition, the sponge-like mouth parts used for food uptake (labellum) of surface-sterilized house flies were removed and analyzed for donors, recipients, and transconjugants, separately. In both groups of flies (n = 90 flies/group), transfer occurred within 24 h after exposure with a transconjugant/donor rate from 8.6 × 10−5 to 4.5 × 101. Transconjugants were also isolated from the house fly labellum. Our data suggest that the house fly digestive tract provides a suitable environment for horizontal transfer of conjugative plasmids and antibiotic resistance genes among enterococci. Our results emphasize the importance of this insect as a potential vector of antibiotic-resistant bacterial strains.  相似文献

Commiphora wightii is a medicinally important endangered species endemic to the Thar Desert of Rajasthan, India and adjoining areas of Pakistan. The populations of this species are declining sharply because of its extensive use as a natural herb. Random amplified polymorphic DNA analysis was conducted to find the genetic variation among 7 populations of C. wightii. Of the 100 random primers screened, 44 primers yielded 220 loci. Statistical analysis indicated low genetic diversity (H pop = 0.0958; I = 0.1498; mean polymorphic loci = 14.28%), and high genetic differentiation among the populations (G ST = 0.3990; AMOVA Φ ST of 0.3390; Bayesian θ (II) = 0.3002). The low genetic diversity may be due to geographic isolation and restricted gene flow (N m = 0.7533) between the fragmented populations. Unsustainable utilization of the plant has fragmented the population continuum which served the purpose of genetic exchange between populations. Mantel’s test was performed which revealed a highly significant positive correlation between genetic and geographic distance (r 2 = 0.614, P = 0.023) among the populations studied. Low variation can also be attributed to poor seed setting and the slow growth pattern of the species, which is also an apomict. In UPGMA dendrogram the Commiphora wightii samples were divided into two major and one minor cluster. These findings can serve as a guide to preserving the genetic resources of this medicinal plant species.  相似文献
