We report mapping of proteins of adenocarcinomas of the lung as a result of overexpression of the oncogenically activated N-terminal deletion mutant c-raf-1 BxB through usage of the human SP-C promotor. Proteins from non-transgenic controls and tumors were extracted with a lysis buffer containing 5 mol/L urea, 2 mol/L thiourea, 40 mmol/L Tris, 4% CHAPS, 100 mmol/L DTT, 0.5% BioLyte 3-10, separated by 2-DE and studied by image analysis. On average, 300-600 protein spots per gel were excised and analyzed by MALDI-TOF and -TOF/TOF MS. More than 1000 of the CBB-stained proteins were identified and traced back to 100 different gene products, including many of their isoforms. We observed significant changes in the expression of proteins involved in cellular defense or glycolysis, and this included glutathione S-transferase, peroxiredoxin 6, and alpha-enolase, among others. Proteins associated with lung tumor growth and/or metastasis, i.e., lung carbonyl reductase, differed in expression, as did tumor-associated expression of cell adhesion and membrane-bound proteins such as vinculin. This map provides valuable insight into expression of pulmonary proteins associated with lung adenocarcinomas, some of which may be of utility as diagnostic markers in clinical trials.  相似文献

Epidermal growth factor (EGF) is an important mitogen for hepatocytes. Its targeted overexpression induced hepatocellular carcinomas (HCC), as recently reported by us (Borlak et al. 2005). Early detection of disease is essential for successful therapy and overall survival. Here we describe our efforts in identifying serum biomarkers of liver cancer in a transgenic disease model that mimics effectively the consequence of exaggerated EGF signaling. We report a reference 2-DE map of mouse serum proteins. About 180 proteins were detected per gel and 130 proteins were identified by 2-DE-MALDI-MS analysis. We compared serum proteins of healthy nontransgenic and HCC tumor-bearing mice and identified 25 regulated proteins, of which n = 7 reached statistical significance ( p < 0.05). Furthermore, we identified several fragments of fibrinogens and of the alpha-2-macroglobulin to be disease-associated. We also found immunoglobulins to be repressed or absent in serum samples of tumor-bearing mice, and this included, among others, the Ig K and L class. In contrast, amyloid component P and apolipoprotein M were highly significantly increased by 10- and 8-fold, respectively, in serum samples of HCC mice. Overall, our findings provide a rationale for further clinical evaluation of the herein identified biomarker candidates.  相似文献

High-density lipoprotein (HDL) is the most abundant lipoprotein particle in the plasma and a negative risk factor of atherosclerosis. By using a proteomic approach it is possible to obtain detailed information about its protein content and protein modifications that may give new information about the physiological roles of HDL. In this study the two subfractions; HDL(2) and HDL(3), were isolated by two-step discontinuous density-gradient ultracentrifugation and the proteins were separated with two-dimensional gel electrophoresis and identified with peptide mass fingerprinting, using matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionisation time of flight mass spectrometry. Identified proteins in HDL were: the dominating apo A-I as six isoforms, four of them with a glycosylation pattern and one of them with retained propeptide, apolipoprotein (apo) A-II, apo A-IV, apo C-I, apo C-II, apo C-III (two isoforms), apo E (five isoforms), the recently discovered apo M (two isoforms), serum amyloid A (two isoforms) and serum amyloid A-IV (six isoforms). Furthermore, alpha-1-antitrypsin was identified in HDL for the first time. Additionally, salivary alpha-amylase was identified as two isoforms in HDL(2), and apo L and a glycosylated apo A-II were identified in HDL(3). Besides confirming the presence of different apolipoproteins, this study indicates new patterns of glycosylated apo A-I and apo A-II. Furthermore, the study reveals new proteins in HDL; alpha-1-antitrypsin and salivary alpha-amylase. Further investigations about these proteins may give new insight into the functional role of HDL in coronary artery diseases.  相似文献

Glycoproteins in human serum play fundamental roles in many biological processes, and also have clinical value as biomarkers for disease progression and treatment. In this study, we isolated glycoproteins from the sera of three healthy individuals and three lung adenocarcinoma patients using multilectin affinity chromatography. The recovered glycoproteins were subjected to treatment with peptide-N-glycosidase F (PNGase F) and in-gel digestion by trypsin. Tryptic peptides were analyzed by nano-LC coupled to ESI-MS/MS and the MS/MS spectra were processed by Bioworks 3.2 and an in-house bioinformatics tool, ProtAn. Approximately 90% of the proteins identified contained more than one potential glycosylation site. Comparison of the serum glycoproteome of healthy and adenocarcinoma individuals revealed 38 cancer-selective proteins. Among them, 60% have previously been reported as low abundance proteins in human sera. We identified several cancer-selective proteins that have been previously characterized as potential indicators of lung cancer in serum or plasma, including haptoglobin (HP), inter-alpha-trypsin inhibitor heavy chain 4 (ITI-H4), complement C3 precursor, and leucine-rich alpha-2-glycoprotein. In addition, plasma kallikrein (KLKB1) and inter-alpha-trypsin inhibitor heavy chain 3 (ITI-H3) were identified as being potentially elevated in the lung cancer group, and were validated by Western blot analysis. Furthermore, approximately 18 kDa plasma kallirein protein fragment was detected at high levels in 25 out of 28 adenocarcinoma patients, while one of the eight normal individuals showed moderate positive. The results suggest that KLKB1 represents a potential candidate serum biomarker of lung cancer.  相似文献

The c-Raf-1 kinase is a downstream effector of Ras signaling. Both proteins are highly oncogenic when they are mutationally activated, but only the Ras GTPase is frequently mutated in naturally occurring tumors. Although the c-Raf-1 protein was found to be amplified in different lung cancer cell lines, overexpression of the wild-type c-Raf-1 protein was shown to be insufficient to transform cultured cells. Here we have addressed the question of whether overexpression of the wild-type c-Raf-1 kinase can induce lung cancer in mice. We show that lung-targeted expression of oncogenically activated or wild-type c-Raf-1 proteins induces morphologically indistinguishable lung adenomas in transgenic mice. Compared with mice transgenic for the activated c-Raf-1-BxB, tumor development is delayed and occurs at a lower incidence in wild-type c-Raf-1 transgenic mice. Our studies show that the c-Raf-1 expression level is a critical parameter in tumor development and should be analyzed in more detail to evaluate its potential in the induction of cancer.  相似文献

Plasma has been the focus of testing different proteomic technologies for the identification of biomarkers due to its ready accessibility. However, it is not clear if direct proteomic analysis of plasma can be used to discover new marker proteins from tumor that are associated with tumor progression. Here, we reported that such proteins can be detected in plasma in a chemical induced skin cancer mouse model. We analyzed glycoproteins from both benign papillomas and malignant carcinomas from mice using our recently developed platform, solid-phase extraction of glycopeptides (SPEG) and mass spectrometry, and identified 463 unique N-linked glycosites from 318 unique glycoproteins. These include most known extracellular proteins that have been reported to play roles in skin cancer development such as thrombospondin, cathepsins, epidermal growth factor receptor, cell adhesion molecules, cadherins, integrins, tuberin, fibulin, TGFβ receptor, etc. We further investigated whether these tumor proteins could be detected in plasma from tumor bearing mice using isotope labeling and 2D-LC-MALDI-MS/MS. Two tumor glycoproteins, Tenascin-C and Arylsulfatase B, were identified and quantified successfully in plasma from tumor bearing mice. This result indicates that analysis of tumor associated proteins in tumors and plasma by method using glycopeptide capture, isotopic labeling, and mass spectrometry can be used as a discovery tool to identify candidate tumor proteins that may be detected in plasma.  相似文献

The peroxisome proliferator activated receptor-beta (PPARbeta) plays an essential role in lipid metabolism, immune modulation, differentiation and cell proliferation. There is also strong evidence for a function in oncogenesis and tumor vascularization, but the underlying molecular mechanisms remain elusive. In the present study, we have used fibroblasts derived from Pparb wild-type and null mice to determine by 2-DE and PMF analysis the contribution of PPARbeta to the protein profile of fibroblasts. Thirty-one differentially expressed proteins of different functional categories were identified. For at least two proteins a role in tumorigenesis and/or tumor vascularization has previously been reported: while the calcium intracellular channel-4 (CLIC4) was expressed at lower levels in Pparb null cells, expression of the cellular retinol binding protein 1 (CRBP1) was enhanced. Clic4 and Crbp1 gene expression patterns observed in different experimental settings in vitro and in vivo confirmed the proteomics data. Our findings indicate that the expression of a defined set of proteins is altered in fibroblasts and endothelial cells from Pparb null mice, that this is due to aberrant gene regulation, and that the altered expression of these proteins is consistent with the tumor vascularization phenotype of Pparb null mice.  相似文献

Mice deficient in inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS; C57Bl/6Ai-[KO]NOS2 N5) or wild-type C57Bl/6 mice were exposed to 1 part/million of ozone 8 h/night or to filtered air for three consecutive nights. Endpoints measured included lavagable total protein, macrophage inflammatory protein (MIP)-2, matrix metalloproteinase (MMP)-9, cell content, and tyrosine nitration of whole lung proteins. Ozone exposure caused acute edema and an inflammatory response in the lungs of wild-type mice, as indicated by significant increases in lavage protein content, MIP-2 and MMP-9 content, and polymorphonuclear leukocytes. The iNOS knockout mice showed significantly greater levels of lung injury by all of these criteria than did the wild-type mice. We conclude that iNOS knockout mice are more susceptible to acute lung damage induced by exposure to ozone than are wild-type C57Bl/6 mice and that protein nitration is associated with the degree of inflammation and not dependent on iNOS-derived nitric oxide.  相似文献

Inbred BALB/c mouse implanted with murine tumors serves as an attractive model system for the studies of cancer biology in immuno-competent individuals. It is anticipated that tumor progression would induce notable pathophysiological consequences, some of which manifested as alteration in serum proteomic and glycomic profiles. Similar to sera derived from human cancer patients and immuno-compromised mice bearing human tumors, we show in this work that BALB/c mice of the same genetic background but bearing two distinct tumor origins both exhibited elevated expression levels of acute phase proteins including haptoglobin and serum amyloid P protein, in response to tumor progression. Such common traits are generally not informative nor qualifying as biomarkers. Additional mass spectrometry (MS)-based glycomic mapping nevertheless detected distinctive changes of sialylation pattern on the complex type N-glycans. MALDI MS/MS sequencing afforded a facile but definitive identification of an increase in internal Neu5Gcalpha2-6 sialylation on the GlcNAc of the Neu5Gc2-3Gal1-3GlcNAc terminal sequence as a common feature whereas a substitution of Neu5Gc by Neu5Ac was found to be induced by colonic but not breast tumor. A more pronounced change was similarly detected on N-glycans derived from ascitic fluids representing late tumor progression stages. We next demonstrated that such distinct change in glycotope expression can be localized to a particular protein carrier by LC-MS/MS analysis of glycopeptides. Serotransferrin was identified as one such abundant serum glycoprotein, which changed significantly not in protein expression level but in terminal glycosylation pattern.  相似文献

In this paper we report a method for measuring ultrafiltrable zinc in human serum by electrothermal atomic absorption spectrophtometry. We show also that ultrafiltration permits to determine alpha-2 macroglobulin bound zinc and losely bound zinc if a strong zinc ligand (EDTA) is added to serum before ultrafiltration. This last fraction, after deduction of ultrafiltrable zinc, represents roughly all albumin bound zinc. In 20 controls we found that ultrafiltrable zinc amounted 0.311 μmol/L (S.D.=0.117 μmol/L), alpha-2 macroglobulin bound zinc 3.08 μmol/L (S.D.=0.221 μmol/L), and albumin bound zinc 12.11 μmol/L (S.D.=1.95 μmol/L). Our method needs only a small volume of serum, it is simple and rapid but also very accurate and reliable. The losely bound fraction is very dynamic and, representing the physiologically active part of serum zinc, it could be a good marker of zinc deficiency.  相似文献

The alterations of tumor proteome and/or in vivo secretome created by host-tumor cell interaction may be crucial factors for tumors to undergo progression or regression in a host system. Two UV-induced fibrosarcoma tumor cell lines (UV-2237 progressive cells and UV-2240 regressive cells) were used as models to address this issue. Hundreds of proteins including in vivo secretome have been identified and quantified via an isotope-coded protein label (ICPL) in conjunction with high-throughput NanoLC-LTQ MS analysis. A newly designed technology using a dermis-based cell-trapped system was employed to encapsulate and grow 3-D tumor cells. A tissue chamber inserted with a tumor cell-trapped dermis was implanted into mice to mimic the tumor microenvironment. The in vivo secretome created by host-tumor interaction was characterized from samples collected from tissue chamber fluids via ICPL labeling mass spectrometric analysis. Twenty-five proteins including 14-3-3 proteins, heat shock proteins, profilin-1, and a fragment of complement C3 with differential expression in proteomes of UV-2237 and UV-2240 cells were revealed. Three secreted proteins including myeloperoxidase, alpha-2-macroglobulin, and a vitamin D-binding protein have different abundances in the in vivo secretome in response to UV-2237 and UV-2240 cells. Differential tumor proteomes and in vivo secretome were thus accentuated as potential therapeutic targets to control tumor growth.  相似文献

Each postnatal hair follicle (HF) perpetually goes through three phases: anagen, catagen, and telogen. The molecular signals that orchestrate the follicular transition between phases are still largely unknown. Our previous study shows that the keratinocyte specific Smad4 knockout mice exhibit progressive alopecia due to the mutant HFs failure to undergo programmed regression. To investigate the detailed molecular events controlling this process, the protein profiles of Smad4 mutant and control epidermal and HF keratinocytes were compared using 2-D difference gel electrophoresis (2-D DIGE) proteomic analysis. Eighty-six differentially expressed protein spots were identified by MALDI-TOF/TOF MS or ESI-MS/MS as 72 proteins, of which 29 proteins were found to be changed during the anagen-catagen transition of HFs in Smad4 mutants compared with the controls. The differentially expressed proteins represent a wide spectrum of functional classes such as keratin, the cytoskeleton, cellular growth and differentiation, ion combination and transfer, protein enzymes. Notably, we found that the 14-3-3sigma protein together with the 14-3-3zeta and 14-3-3beta proteins were significantly down-regulated only in wild-type keratinocytes but not in Smad4 mutant keratinocytes during the catagen phase, suggesting that increased expression of 14-3-3 proteins might contribute to the blockade of catagen initiation in Smad4 deficient HFs.  相似文献

S-Nitrosoglutathione reductase (GSNOR) is a key regulator of protein S-nitrosylation, the covalent modification of cysteine residues by nitric oxide that can affect activities of many proteins. We recently discovered that excessive S-nitrosylation from GSNOR deficiency in mice under inflammation inactivates the key DNA repair protein O(6) -alkylguanine-DNA alkyltransferase and promotes both spontaneous and carcinogen-induced hepatocellular carcinoma. To explore further the mechanism of tumorigenesis due to GSNOR deficiency, we compared the protein expression profiles in the livers of wild-type and GSNOR-deficient (GSNOR(-/-) ) mice that were challenged with lipopolysaccharide to induce inflammation and expression of inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS). Two-dimensional difference gel electrophoresis analysis identified 38 protein spots of significantly increased intensity and 31 protein spots of significantly decreased intensity in the GSNOR(-/-) mice compared to those in the wild-type mice. We subsequently identified 19 upregulated and 19 downregulated proteins in GSNOR(-/-) mice using mass spectrometry. Immunoblot analysis confirmed in GSNOR(-/-) mice a large increase in the expression of the pro-inflammatory mediator S100A9, a protein previously implicated in human liver carcinogenesis. We also found a decrease in the expression of multiple members of the protein disulfide-isomerase (PDI) family and an alteration in the expression pattern of the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) chaperones in GSNOR(-/-) mice. Furthermore, altered expression of these proteins from GSNOR deficiency was prevented in mice lacking both GSNOR and iNOS. In addition, we detected S-nitrosylation of two members of the PDI protein family. These results suggest that S-nitrosylation resulting from GSNOR deficiency may promote carcinogenesis under inflammatory conditions in part through the disruption of inflammatory and ER stress responses.  相似文献

Transepithelial alveolar sodium (Na+) transport mediated by the amiloride-sensitive epithelial sodium channel (ENaC) constitutes the driving force for removal of fluid from the alveolar space. To define the role of the beta-ENaC subunit in vivo in the mature lung, we studied a previously established mouse strain harboring a disruption of the beta-ENaC gene locus resulting in low levels of beta-ENaC mRNA expression. Real-time RT-PCR experiments confirmed that beta-ENaC mRNA levels were decreased by >90% in alveolar epithelial cells from homozygous mutant (m/m) mice. beta-ENaC protein was undetected in lung homogenates from m/m mice by Western blotting, but alpha- and gamma-ENaC proteins were increased by 83% and 45%, respectively, compared with wild-type (WT) mice. At baseline, Na+-driven alveolar fluid clearance (AFC) was significantly reduced by 32% in m/m mice. Amiloride at the concentration 1 mM inhibited AFC by 75% and 34% in WT and m/m mice, respectively, whereas a higher concentration (5 mM) induced a 75% inhibition of AFC in both groups. The beta2-agonist terbutaline significantly increased AFC in WT but not in m/m mice. These results show that despite the compensatory increase in alpha- and gamma-ENaC protein expression observed in mutant mouse lung, low expression of beta-ENaC results in a moderate impairment of baseline AFC and in decreased AFC sensitivity to amiloride, suggesting a possible change in the stoichiometry of ENaC channels. Finally, adequate beta-ENaC expression appears to be required for AFC stimulation by beta2-agonists.  相似文献

Calpain是钙依赖性中性蛋白酶 ,根据其对钙敏感性的不同 ,可分为m 和 μ calpain两型 .分别用不同浓度CaCl2 溶液孵育Wistar大鼠脑皮质匀浆液 ,并用蛋白质印迹和定量图像分析技术检测不同亚型calpain对tau蛋白的降解作用 .研究发现 :在 3 7℃用 1mmol/LCa2 孵育底物 15min ,可见tau蛋白明显降解 ,并在分子质量为 2 9ku处出现tau蛋白降解片段 ;当Ca2 浓度为 5mmol/L时 ,tau蛋白几乎全部被降解 ;这种tau蛋白降解可被calpain特异性抑制剂完全逆转 .进一步的研究发现 ,分别用 μ calpain抑制剂 (0 0 5μmol/Lcalpastatin) ,m calpain抑制剂 (10 0 μmol/LcalpaininhibitorⅣ )或总calpain抑制剂 (552 μmol/Lcalpeptin)与 1mmol/LCa2 共同孵育Wistar大鼠脑皮质匀浆液 ,Ca2 激活的tau蛋白降解分别被抑制8 6% ,92 5%和 97 8% .结果表明一定浓度的Ca2 可同时激活 μ calpain和m calpain ,这两种亚型calpain均参与降解tau蛋白 ,但m calpain的作用比 μ calpain更强  相似文献

以红菇属大白菇Russula delica和美丽红菇Russula lepida子实体为材料,利用离子交换柱层析、凝胶过滤层析的手段,分离获得新的凝集素RDL和RLL。结合凝胶过滤层析和SDS-PAGE的手段,确定RDL和RLL分别是分子量为60kDa和32kDa的双亚基蛋白,其N-末端部分氨基酸序列分别为GLKLAKQFAL和VWYIVAIKTDVPRTT。性质研究表明,RDL在20-70℃、低于25mmol/L HCl或12.5mmol/L NaOH下稳定,其凝集活性可以被邻硝基苯酚-β-D呋喃型半乳糖苷(25mmol/L)和菊糖(50mmol/L)所抑制;RDL具有抑制人肝癌Hep G2和人乳腺癌MCF7细胞增殖以及HIV-1反转录酶(RT)的活性,其半抑制浓度IC50分别为0.88μmol/L、0.52μmol/L和0.26μmol/L。RLL在20-70℃、低于12.5mmol/L HCl或NaOH下稳定,其凝集活性可以被菊糖(25mmol/L)和邻硝基苯酚-β-D呋喃型半乳糖苷(100mmol/L)所抑制;RDL具有抑制人肝癌Hep G2和人乳腺癌MCF7细胞增殖的活性,其半抑制浓度IC50分别为1.60μmol/L和0.90μmol/L,但不具有抑制HIV-1 RT的活性。  相似文献

Endorepellin, the C-terminal module of perlecan, has angiostatic activity. Here we provide definitive genetic and biochemical evidence that the functional endorepellin receptor is the alpha2beta1 integrin. Notably, the specific endorepellin binding to the receptor was cation-independent and was mediated by the alpha2 I domain. We show that the anti-angiogenic effects of endorepellin cannot occur in the absence of alpha2beta1. Microvascular endothelial cells from alpha2beta1(-/-) mice, but not those isolated from either wild-type or alpha1beta1(-/-) mice, did not respond to endorepellin. Moreover, syngeneic Lewis lung carcinoma xenografts in alpha2beta1(-/-) mice failed to respond to systemic delivery of endorepellin. In contrast, endorepellin inhibited tumor growth and angiogenesis in the wild-type mice expressing integrin alpha2beta1. We conclude that the angiostatic effects of endorepellin in vivo are mediated by a specific interaction of endorepellin with the alpha2beta1 integrin receptor.  相似文献

Serpin alpha-1-proteinase inhibitor have been studied in human subjects and in mice of different lines as acute phase reactant and during tumor development. In humans, there was no difference of serpin activity between men and women. Increased activity was noted in men with acute trauma (acute phase reaction). Comparatively to male, in female mice of different lines decreased activity of serum alpha-1-proteinase inhibitor, was shown. There was no increase of alpha-1-proteinase inhibitor activity during inflammation induced by zymosan administration in mice. alpha-1-proteinase inhibitor belongs to acute phase reactants in humans but not in mice; for mice alpha-2-macroglobulin is a more typical acute phase reactant as compared to alpha-1-proteinase inhibitor. Murine tumor development (hepatoma HA-1, lymphosarcoma LS, Lewis lung adenocarcinoma) was followed by a decreased activity of serum alpha-1-proteinase inhibitor both in successfully treated and untreated groups. According to data of literature, similar dated were obtained in humans with tumors. It was suggested that changes of expressiln of alpha-1-proteinase inhibitor by tumors and its secretion were involved in decreased activity of alpha-1-proteinase inhibitor.  相似文献

We examined the role of the pleiotropic cytokine interferon-gamma (IFN-gamma) in initiating the burn injury-induced acute phase response (APR). Two-dimensional (2-D) electrophoresis was used to obtain serum protein profiles from wild-type (WT) and IFN-gamma knockout mice following sham-burn or 20% burn injury. Serum 2-D images from both groups of burn-injured mice were characterized by the upregulation of a similar panel of protein spots. These included the three major murine acute phase proteins haptoglobin, serum amyloid A, and serum amyloid P, that were identified by matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization-time of flight (MALDI-TOF)-mass spectrometry. Furthermore, the changes in the levels of these protein spots were very similar between these two groups of mice, as determined by image analysis. Other features of burn-induced APR such as a decrease in total serum protein concentration, an elevated circulation level of the cytokine interleukin-6 (IL-6), and activation of the IL-6 signal transduction protein STAT3 were also evaluated and found to be similar between wild-type and IFN-gamma knockout mice. These results suggest a dispensable role of IFN-gamma in the induction of the hepatic APR in mice following burn injury.  相似文献

ATP-binding cassette transporter G1 (ABCG1) is a cellular transmembrane protein that transports oxysterol efflux from cells to high-density lipoprotein (HDL) particles in the plasma. Previous studies have demonstrated that an ABCG1 deficiency exerts an antiatherosclerotic function through the effects of oxysterol accumulation in cells to enhance apoptosis and regulate inflammatory processes. However, whether the deficiency of ABCG1 and the corresponding changes in the efflux of oxysterols could take a series of impacts on the proteomic composition of HDL remains unclear. Here, plasma HDL of ABCG1(−/−) mice and their wild-type controls on a normal chow diet (NCD) or a high-fat diet (HFD) were isolated by ultracentrifugation. The proportion of 7-ketocholesterol and the proteomic composition of samples were comparatively analyzed by LC-MS/MS. In NCD-fed mice, lipid metabolism-related protein (arachidonate 12-lipoxygenase) and antioxidative protein (pantetheinase) exhibited increased accumulation, and inflammatory response protein (alpha-1-antitrypsin) was decreased in accumulation in ABCG1(−/−) mice HDL. In HFD-fed mice, fewer proteins were detected than that of NCD-fed mice. The ABCG1(−/−) mice HDL exhibited increased accumulation of lipid metabolism-related proteins (e.g., carboxylesterase 1C, apolipoprotein (apo)C-4) and decreased accumulation of alpha-1-antitrypsin, as well as significantly reduced proportion of 7-ketocholesterol. Additionally, positive correlations were found between 7-ketocholesterol and some essential proteins on HDL, such as alpha-1-antitrypsin, apoA-4, apoB-100, and serum amyloid A (SAA). These results suggest a detrimental impact of oxysterols on HDL composition, which might affect the antiatherosclerotic properties of HDL.  相似文献
