The aim of the present study was to clarify smooth muscle- and region-dependent distributions of the oxytocin receptor that mediates oxytocin-induced contraction in the nonpregnant porcine myometrium by means of mechanical and radioligand ([3H]-oxytocin) binding studies. In Krebs solution, oxytocin (0.1-300 nM) caused concentration-dependent contractions of the cornual myometrium, and the longitudinal muscle was more sensitive than the circular muscle. [Arg8]-vasopressin and [deamino-Cys1, D-Arg8]-vasopressin also contracted the myometrium, and the order of the potency was oxytocin > [Arg8]-vasopressin > [deamino-Cys(1), D-Arg(8)]-vasopressin. Treatment with a high concentration of oxytocin selectively inhibited the contraction of oxytocin and [Arg8]-vasopressin without affecting the responses of acetylcholine and high-K+. Selective cross inhibition was also observed in the presence of a high concentration of [Arg(8)]-vasopressin. The oxytocin-induced contraction was resistant to tetrodotoxin and atropine, but was reduced by verapamil or by the removal of external Ca2+, indicating that oxytocin has a direct action on smooth muscle cells and that extracellular Ca2+ plays an important role for the contraction. In Kumagai solution, oxytocin caused contraction of the cornual longitudinal muscle (-logEC50 = 8.5) but not the circular muscle. Longitudinal muscles of other regions (corpus and cervix) were also responsive to oxytocin, but the -logEC50 value differed from region to region (cornua > corpus = cervix). On the other hand, oxytocin failed to cause contraction of the corpus and cervical circular muscles. 3H-Oxytocin bound to crude membrane preparations of the myometrium in a concentration-dependent (0.084-2.7 nM) saturable manner. Scatchard analysis of equilibrium binding data revealed the presence of a single class of binding site with an apparent dissociation constant (Kd, 1.1-1.5 nM), but receptor density (Bmax) differed in the two muscle layer types (longitudinal muscle: circular muscle = 5:1) and tended to decrease from the cornua to the cervix. In conclusion, the receptor specific for oxytocin is present in the porcine myometrium and mediates the contractile responses of both oxytocin and [Arg8]-vasopressin. The distribution of the oxytocin receptors differs according to the type of muscle layer (longitudinal muscle > circular muscle) and the region of the uterus.  相似文献

2D 1H-NMR spectra of des-Gly9-[Arg8]vasopressin in dimethylsulfoxide have been taken and the 1H resonances have been assigned. The coupling constants and amide proton temperature coefficients (delta delta/delta T) have been measured and the NOE cross-peaks in the NOESY spectrum have been analyzed. The most essential information on the spatial structure of des-Gly9-[Arg8]vasopressin is extracted from the low delta delta/delta T value for Asn5 amide proton and from the NOE between the Cys1 and Cys6 alpha-protons. A diminished accessibility of the Asn5 NH proton for the solvent is ascribed to the presence of a beta-turn in the fragment 2-5. The distance between the Cys1 and Cys6 C alpha H protons seems to be less than 4 A. These constraints were taken into account in the conformational analysis of the title peptide. The derived set of the low-energy backbone conformations was analyzed against the background of the all available NMR data. The most probable conformation of the cyclic moiety in des-Gly9-[Arg8]vasopressin was found to be the type III beta-turn. The corner positions are occupied by the residues 3, 4, while the residues 1-2 and 5-6 are at the extended sites. Some NMR data indicate that this structure is in a dynamic equilibrium with other minor conformers.  相似文献

Mesotocin ([Ile8]-oxytocin), lysipressin ([ Lys8]-vasopressin) and phenypressin ([Phe8]-vasopressin) have been identified in the western gray kangaroo (Macropus fuliginosus) as well as four other macropodids. Lysipressin and phenypressin, which differ by the amino acids in positions 2 (Tyr/Phe) and 8 (Lys/Arg) are likely products of two separate vasopressin-like genes. It is assumed that arginine vasopressin found in most mammals is the product of two identical genes which can be revealed in some species by differential mutations as seen usually in marsupials. The duality can also be revealed by differential mutations in another domain of the precursors, such as the neurophysin (MSEL-neurophysin), as observed in the ox.  相似文献

We synthesized 10 analogs (1-10) derived from the sequence of [Pmp1,D-Trp2,Arg8]oxytocin, (parent antagonist or PA), (Pmp = beta,beta-pentamethylene-beta-mercaptopropionic acid) which is a potent antagonist (pA2 = 7.77) of the uterotonic effect of oxytocin (OT) in rats, as determined in our uterotonic assay. Eight of the following analogs were designed by replacement of each residue in the PA sequence, other than the residue at position 2, with D-tryptophan: Ac-D-Trp-D-Trp-Ile-Gln-Asn-Val-Pro- Arg-Gly-NH2, (1); [Pmp1,D-Trp(For)2,Arg8] OT, (2); [Pmp1,D-Trp2,D-Trp3,Arg8] OT, (3); [Pmp1,D-Trp2,D-Trp4,Arg8] OT, (4); [Pmp1,D-Trp2,D-Trp5,Arg8] OT, (5); Aaa-D-Trp-Ile-Gln-Asn-D-Trp-Pro-Arg- Gly-NH2, (6); [Pmp1,D-Trp2,D-Trp7,Arg8] OT, (7); [Pmp1,D-Trp2,D-Trp8] OT, (8); [Pmp1,D-Trp2,Arg8,D-Trp9] OT, (9); [Pmp1,D-Trp2,Arg8,D-Trp(For)9] OT, (10). To avoid free mercaptan groups, Val6 was chosen in analog 1 instead of Cys and Aaa1 (Aaa = 1-adamantaneacetic acid) in analog 6 instead of Pmp1. Of the linear analogs, 1 was inactive as an OT antagonist and 6 was a very poor antagonist, with a pA2 = 5.66, but it was more potent than Aaa-D-Trp-Ile-Gln-Asn-Val-Pro-Arg-Gly-NH2, which has a pA2 = 5.33, as we had previously reported. Analog 2, featuring D-Trp(For)2, pA2 = 7.37, was weaker than PA, indicating that the formyl group lowers potency. Analogs 3 and 4 were much weaker than PA, and analog 5 was inactive. Two analogs of human beta-endorphin (beta-EP) which contain cystine bridges, [Cys15-Cys26,Phe27,Gly31]-beta-EP (I) and [Cys16-Cys26,Phe27,Gly31]-beta-EP (II), were synthesized by the solid-phase method. Peptides I and II were shown to contain 2-2.5 times the opiate receptor binding activity of beta-endorphin. We also synthesized two analogs with reduced alkylated cysteine residues and these peptides, [Arg9,19,24,28,29 Cys(Cam)11,26,Phe27,Gly31] and [Arg9,19,24,28,29,Cys-(Cam)12,26,Phe27,Gly31], were shown to have approximately the same opiate receptor activity as beta-endorphin.  相似文献

The circular dichroic spectra of [Arg8]vasopressin, [Mpr1, Arg8]vasopressin, [Mpr1, D-Arg8]-vasopressin, pressinamide, deaminopressinamide, tocinamide, deaminotocinamide, [Leu4, D-Arg8]-vasotocin, [Mpr1, Leu4, D-Arg8]vasotocin and [Phe2, Lys8]vasopressin have been studied. All these substances showed a characteristic positive dichroic band at about 225 nm due to the presence of tyrosine in sequence position 2. The intensity of this band was affected by interactions between the tyrosine side-chain and other structural elements in the molecule, such as the Na-amino group, the side-chain of phenylalanine in position 3 and the linear C-terminal peptide. Analysis of the response of this band to structural modifications of the molecule and change in the solvent (particularly comparing neutral aqueous solutions with hexafluoroacetone solutions) allowed some conformational conclusions. The linear C-terminal tripeptide is probably situated over the cyclic portion of the molecule both in vasopressin and oxytocin substances. Its steric interaction with the tyrosine side-chain seems to be particularly efficient in molecules containing D-arginine in position 8. In the vasopressin series the stacking interaction of neighbouring aromatic amino acid residues furthermore limits the conformational freedom of the tyrosine side-chain and also probably distorts the dihedral angles of residues 1-3 in comparison with oxytocin. The interactions of phenylalanine and arginine with tyrosine relatively decrease the conformational effects of the primary amino group. Consequently the local conformation of vasopressin in the region of the tyrosine residue is more rigid and less sensitive to changes in medium than that of oxytocin. The circular dichroic spectra did not show any basic conformational differences in the backbone peptide chain of oxytocin and vasopressin substances. A weak negative disulphide band at about 290 nm could be observed in the spectra of both series of substances.  相似文献

Penaeidins are a family of antimicrobial peptides of 47-63 residues isolated from several species of shrimp. These peptides display a proline-rich domain (N-terminal part) and a cysteine-rich domain (C-terminal part) stabilized by three conserved disulfide bonds whose arrangement has not yet been characterized. The recombinant penaeidin-3a of Litopenaeus vannamei (63 residues) and its [T8A]-Pen-3a analogue were produced in Saccharomyces cerevisiae and showed similar antimicrobial activity. The solution structure of the [T8A]-Pen-3a analogue was determined by using two-dimensional 1H NMR and simulated annealing calculations. The proline-rich domain, spanning residues 1-28 was found to be unconstrained. In contrast, the cysteine-rich domain, spanning residues 29-58, displays a well defined structure, which consists of an amphipathic helix (41-50) linked to the upstream and the downstream coils by two disulfide bonds (Cys32-Cys47 and Cys48-Cys55). These two coils are in turn linked together by the third disulfide bond (Cys36-Cys54). Such a disulfide bond packing, which is in agreement with the analysis of trypsin digests by ESI-MS, contributes to the highly hydrophobic core. Side chains of Arg45 and Arg50, which belong to the helix, and side chains of Arg37 and Arg53, which belong to the upstream and the downstream coils, are located in two opposite parts of this globular and compact structure. The environment of these positively charged residues, either by hydrophobic clusters at the surface of the cysteine-rich domain or by sequential hydrophobic residues in the unconstrained proline-rich domain, gives rise to the amphipathic character required for antimicrobial peptides. We hypothesize that the antimicrobial activity of penaeidins can be explained by a cooperative effect between the proline-rich and cysteine-rich features simultaneously present in their sequences.  相似文献

The pharmacological effects of guinea pig vasoactive intestinal peptide (VIP) were studied in isolated perfused guinea pig hearts. Bolus injections of VIP produced a dose-dependent tachycardia that was not affected by atenolol. A decrease in amplitude of ventricular contractions occurred in response to all doses of VIP. This response was preceded by a small increase in amplitude in 3 of 6 hearts at the highest dose. VIP produced a decrease in perfusion pressure which was prominent after coronary tone was elevated with [Arg8]-vasopressin. The present findings support speculation that VIP may have a role in the regulation of heart rate and coronary blood flow.  相似文献

Three different types of biotinylated endothelin 1 (ET-1) derivatives, [Cys1]-biotinylated ET-1, [Lys9]-biotinylated ET-1, and [Cys1][Lys9]-dibiotinylated ET-1, were obtained when the biotinylation reaction was carried out with sulfosuccinimidyl-6-(biotinamido)hexanoate in an aqueous solvent. The binding of [Lys9]-biotinylated ET-1 to the ET receptor was as efficient as that of natural ET-1, whereas the binding of either [Cys1]-biotinylated ET-1 or [Cys1][Lys9]-dibiotinylated ET-1 was significantly reduced. When ET-1 was reacted with succinimidyl-6-(biotinamido)hexanoate in an organic solvent, ET-1 was exclusively modified at lysine 9. The ET receptor was then isolated from human placenta by affinity chromatography with [Lys9]-biotinylated ET-1 and avidin-agarose. The purified ET receptor was active in ET binding and was resolved by sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis into two polypeptides with apparent molecular masses of 45 and 35 kDa. The NH2-terminal amino acid sequence indicated that the two polypeptides were from an identical subtype of the ET receptor (ETB, the ligand-nonselective type). A signal peptide from Met1 to Gly26 was missing from the 45-kDa ETB, whereas 64 amino acids at the NH2 terminus were missing from the 35-kDa ETB due to proteolytic cleavage which occurred between Arg64 and Ser65. Indeed, incubation of purified ETB with endopeptidase Arg-C resulted in degradation of the 45-kDa ETB, giving rise to the 35-kDa species by a specific cleavage at Arg64. The 35-kDa ETB was active in binding to ET-1, indicating that the NH2-terminal 64-amino-acid residues are not essential for ligand binding.(ABSTRACT TRUNCATED AT 250 WORDS)  相似文献

BackgroundDeep vein thrombosis (DVT) genetic predisposition is partially known.ObjectivesThis study aimed at assessing the functional impact of nine ADAMTS13 single nucleotide variants (SNVs) previously reported to be associated as a group with DVT in a burden test and the individual association of selected variants with DVT risk in two replication studies.MethodsWild-type and mutant recombinant ADAMTS13 were transiently expressed in HEK293 cells. Antigen and activity of recombinant ADAMTS13 were measured by ELISA and FRETS-VWF73 assays, respectively. The replication studies were performed in an Italian case-control study (Milan study; 298/298 patients/controls) using a next-generation sequencing approach and in a Dutch case-control study (MEGA study; 4306/4887 patients/controls) by TaqMan assays.ResultsIn vitro results showed reduced ADAMTS13 activity for three SNVs (p.Val154Ile [15%; 95% confidence interval [CI] 14–16], p.Asp187His [19%; 95%[CI] 17–21], p.Arg421Cys [24%; 95%[CI] 22–26]) similar to reduced plasma ADAMTS13 levels of patients carriers for these SNVs. Therefore these three SNVs were interrogated for risk association. The first replication study identified 3 heterozygous carriers (2 cases, 1 control) of p.Arg421Cys (odds ratio [OR] 2, 95%[CI] 0.18–22.25). The second replication study identified 2 heterozygous carriers (1 case, 1 control) of p.Asp187His ([OR] 1.14, 95%[CI] 0.07–18.15) and 10 heterozygous carriers (4 cases, 6 controls) of p.Arg421Cys ([OR] 0.76, 95%[CI] 0.21–2.68).ConclusionsThree SNVs (p.Val154Ile, p.Asp187His and p.Arg421Cys) showed reduced ex vivo and in vitro ADAMTS13 levels. Neurophysin-M, a methionine-containing protein that is the major constituent of neurophysin, has been crystallized as complexes with [8-arginine]-vasopressin. Three moles of vasopressin alone or 2 moles of vasopressin together with 1 mole of oxytocin are bound/mole of protein. An amorphous complex of the protein with oxytocin alone contains 2 moles of the hormone/mole of protein. Deamino-[8-arginine]-vasopressin, a highly active basic analogue of vasopressin, is not bound by neurophysin. [deamino-Cys(l),d-Arg(8)]-vasopressin (dDAVP), known to be an arginine vasopressin (AVP) V(2) receptor agonist, is an agent that increases fibrinolytic activity levels in plasma after its infusion into the human body. However, mechanisms underlying an increase and exact localization of the extrarenal dDAVP-responsive V(2) receptor remain unclarified. Two AVP receptors, V(1a) and V(2), and a related oxytocin (OT) receptor were found to be expressed in human lymphocytes. Furthermore, we found an increase of fibrinolytic activity in the medium of peripheral lymphocytes obtained from human volunteers less than 20 min after dDAVP infusion. The increased activity was also detected in the medium after incubating the lymphocytes in the presence of dDAVP in vitro, being highest at 20 min after the incubation. In accord with the increased fibrinolytic activity, the levels of urokinase-type plasminogen activator (uPA) in the medium were also increased. However, there was no significant difference of plasminogen activator inhibitor-1 (PAI-1), pro-uPA, and tissue-type plasminogen activator (tPA) concentrations in the medium between dDAVP treatment and control. When lymphocytes were preincubated with a V(2) receptor antagonist [Adamantaneacetyl(1),O-Et-d-Tyr(2),Val(4),Aminobutyryl(6),Arg(8,9)]-vasopressin, the dDAVP-induced uPA increase was diminished. In contrast, preincubation with a V(1) receptor antagonist, [beta-Mercapto-beta,beta-cyclopentamethylenepropionyl(1),O-Me-Tyr(2),Arg(8)]-vasopressin, prior to dDAVP treatment resulted in a greater increase of the uPA concentration in the medium than with the dDAVP treatment alone. Thus it was suggested that dDAVP may induce uPA release from human lymphocytes via V(2) receptor-mediated reaction, and also via cross-talk between V(1) and V(2) receptors.  相似文献

Everted sacs of the rat jejunum change the accumulation of [3H]leucine when beta-casomorphins (BCMs) or synthetic analogs, in a concentration range of 10(-8) mol/l, are coincubated with the amino acid. BCM5 (BCM fragment 1-5, Tyr-Pro-Phe-Pro-Gly) and [D-Ala2]-BCM5-NH2 (Tyr-D-Ala-Phe-Pro-Gly) increase, whereas [D-Pro4]-BCM5 (Tyr-Pro-Phe-D-Pro-Gly) decreases the leucine accumulation and [Arg8]-vasopressin has no effect. No effect of BCM5 could be observed on the accumulation of the space marker [14C]inulin. Specific binding sites for casomorphins were detected microautoradiographically, exclusively at the epithelial cell layer using [3H][D-Pro4]-BCM5 in competition studies as a model. HPLC analysis revealed that under the experimental conditions about 50% of the studied [D-Pro4]-BCM5 was enzymatically degraded and no intact peptide is accumulated within the samples of everted sacs. From the results we postulate a brush-border receptor contact of the BCMs which induces an alteration of the amino acid uptake. A contraluminal binding of the chemical signals is not likely, because there is no evidence for a transepithelial transport of intact BCMs. The observed effects of the BCMs demonstrate as yet unknown peptide-receptor interactions, probably at the brush-border membrane, with subsequent effects on the nutrient supply. Furthermore, the results support the general hypothesis of distinct peptide-receptor interactions in those types of epithelia in which the cells are connected by tight junctions.  相似文献

Posterior pituitary lobes from young pigs were fractionated by differential and sucrose-density-gradient centrifugation. The distributions of oxytocin and [8-lysine]-vasopressin were measured by bioassay and the distributions of neurophysin-I and -II by radioimmunoassays specific for each of these two proteins. Most of the hormone and neurophysin applied to the density gradient was localized in particles with the density expected of neurosecretory granules. However, the neurosecretory granules were separated into two bands (D and E). A close statistical correlation between the distributions of [8-lysine]-vasopressin and neurophysin-I, and of oxytocin and neurophysin-II on the gradients, suggested that in vivo porcine neurophysin-I binds [8-lysine]-vasopressin within one population of granules and porcine neurophysin-II binds oxytocin within another type of granule. However, there was no significant separation of oxytocin and vasopressin in fractions D and E. The molar ratios of hormones and neurophysins indicated that there was insufficient of either neurophysin to bind the [8-lysine]-vasopressin in the granule fractions or in the whole gland. Polyacrylamide-gel electrophoresis showed that only bands corresponding in mobility to porcine neurophysins-I, -II and -III were present in large amounts in the whole gland and in the granule fractions. The component with the mobility of neurophysin-III was, however, relatively enriched in whole young glands and granule fractions compared with adult gland extracts. It is suggested that the vasopressin that cannot be assigned to neurophysin-I may occur in (a) vesicles containing vasopressin but no neurophysin, (b) vesicles containing vasopressin and a protein that cannot be quantified by the radioimmunoassays used, such as porcine neurophysin-III, or (c) normal vasopressin–neurophysin granules which have accumulated extra vasopressin. Band E of the gradient was rich in adenosine triphosphatase activity, whereas band D possessed very little of this enzyme.  相似文献

One attomole of [Arg8]-vasopressin (AVP) was detected by a novel noncompetitive enzyme immunoassay (hetero-two-site complex transfer enzyme immunoassay). AVP was indirectly biotinylated using N-hydroxysuccinimidobiotin and trapped onto an anti-AVP IgG-coated polystyrene ball. After washing, biotinylated AVP was eluted from the polystyrene ball with HCl and was reacted with 2,4-dinitrophenyl-fluorescein disulfide-bovine serum albumin-rabbit anti-AVP IgG conjugate. The complex formed was trapped on [anti-2,4-dinitrophenyl group] IgG-coated polystyrene balls and, after washing, reacted with avidin-beta-D-galactosidase conjugate. The polystyrene balls were washed, and the complex of the three components was eluted with 2,4-dinitrophenyl-L-lysine and transferred to anti-fluorescein IgG-coated polystyrene balls. After washing, the complex was released from the polystyrene balls by reduction with 2-mercaptoethylamine and transferred to [anti-rabbit IgG] IgG-coated polystyrene balls. beta-D-Galactosidase activity bound to the last polystyrene balls was assayed by fluorometry. The detection limit of AVP was 1.1 fg (1 amol)/tube. Interference by proteins in biological fluids was eliminated by separation of peptides from proteins using a molecular sieve. The principle of the present method may be applicable to the measurement of haptens, including peptides, that can be derivatized so as to be bound simultaneously by both anti-hapten antibody and avidin molecules.  相似文献

Two types of receptors specific for endothelin were identified using cross-linking technique in cultured rat mesangial cells. The molecular weights of these receptors were approximately 58,000 and 34,000 by polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis in the presence of sodium dodecyl sulfate. The binding of radioiodinated-endothelin to its receptors was inhibited by excess of unlabeled endothelin, but not by nifedipine, nicardipine, verapamil, diltiazem, angiotensin II or [Arg8]-vasopressin. The endothelin binding proteins were solubilized with 1% digitonin and fractionated under non-denaturing conditions by gel filtration. Two endothelin binding peaks eluted at the positions corresponding to the molecular weights of 65,000 and 43,000. These observations indicate that there are two types of specific endothelin receptors in rat mesangial cells which are distinct from voltage dependent L-type calcium channel.  相似文献

Using a variety of synthetic analogs of porcine endothelin (pET), we have studied the effects of these analogs on receptor binding activity and cytosolic free Ca2+ concentrations ([Ca2+]i) in cultured rat vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMC). Removal of C-terminal Trp21 residue, truncated derivatives pET(1-15) and (16-21), substitution of disulfide bond, Cys(3-11) or Cys(1-15), by Cys (Acm), all resulted in a complete loss of receptor binding activity and [Ca2+]i response, while N-terminal elongation of Lys-Arg residues, but not oxidation of Met7 residue, decreased receptor binding activity and [Ca2+]i response. [Cys1-15,Cys3-11]pET was far more potent than [Cys1-11,Cys3-15]pET in receptor binding and [Ca2+]i response. These data indicate that the C-terminal Trp21 as well as the proper double cyclic structure formed by the intramolecular disulfide bonds of the pET molecule are essential for receptor binding and subsequent [Ca2+]i increase in rat VSMC.  相似文献

The results are reported of a potentiometric and spectroscopic study of the H+ and Cu2+ complexes of Ala-Arg8-vasopressin (Ala-AVP) and oxytocin at 25 degrees C and an ionic strength of 0.10 mol dm-3 (KNO3). The coordination chemistry of oxytocin and Cu(II) has been shown to be virtually identical to that of Arg8-vasotocin, forming unusually stable complexes with four nitrogen coordination (4N complexes) below pH 7. Spectroscopic evidence suggests weak interaction between Cu(II) and the sulphur atom of the -Cys6- residue in the 2N species (pH congruent to 6) but this is absent in the 4N complex. Evidence is also presented for perturbation of electronic transitions within the aromatic ring of the Tyr residue by Cu(II). While the physiological potency of Ala-AVP is very high, its coordination chemistry differs significantly from that of Arg8-vasopressin. With Cu(II) it forms complexes of similar stability to those with tetraglycine, demonstrating that the addition of an alanyl residue to the amino-terminal of the peptide destroys the conformation which is particularly favorable for rapid 4N coordination.  相似文献

Two neurohypophysial hormones have been isolated from an avian species, the ostrich, Struthio camelus. Both have been characterized by amino acid analysis and sequence determination. The data obtained suggest that the oxytocin-like hormone is [Ile8-oxytocin] (mesotocin) and the vasopressin-like hormone is [Ile3-vasopressin] (vasotocin). [2Fe2S] ferredoxins isolated from various plants and algae comprise 93–99 amino acid residues and resemble each other not only in sequences, but also in physiological functions. One of them isolated from Spirulina platensis was subjected to X-ray analysis and its three dimensional structure is now known. [2Fe2S] ferredoxins of a different type are found in halobacteria and comprise 128 amino acid residues. Both types of the [2Fe2S] ferredoxins exhibit low redox potentials. By comparing the amino acid sequences of 28 [2Fe2S] ferredoxins and the tertiary structure of S. platensis ferredoxin we predicted a common three-dimensional structure to the [2Fe2S] ferredoxins and proposed a molecular surface area to be interacting with FNR. An artificial small molecule composed of 20 amino acid residues is designed on the basis of the tertiary structure of S. platensis ferredoxin. The amino acid sequence was predicted to be ProTyrSerCysArgAlaGlyAlaCysSerThrCysAlaGly ProLeuLeuThr CysVal which should have a [2Fe2S] cluster with a low redox potential  相似文献
