Twenty six patients with rhinitis were desensitized with Pollinex. Circulating immune complexes were determined in these patients before and after immunotherapy. Two assay techniques - precipitation and PEG-CCT were applied to assay circulating immune complexes. It was found that specific immunotherapy with Pollinex does not produce circulating immune complexes in patients with hay fever.  相似文献

The study was targeted at revealing Mycoplasma pneumoniae (M.p.) and Mycoplasma hominis (M.h.) antigens in blood samples of children with bronchial asthma (BA),both in a free state and those included in circulating immune complexes (CIC). The mycoplasma antigens of one or both species have been detected in one third out of 62 patients with BA. In this group of patients the frequency of detection of specific antibodies twice exceeded that of mycoplasma antigens. Testing paired blood samples of children with BA (n=26) showed, that at receipt in a hospital and a month after primary examination the mycoplasma antigens were detected in 16 and 12 patients, respectively, the association of M.p. and M.h. antigens being more frequent. Data on distribution of antibodies according to immunoglobulin classes testify that basically two (M, G), or four (M, G, A, E) classes were registered in children, the M class antibodies in high percentage of cases (from 36.6 up to 50.0%)being detected in every term of examination. These data indirectly testify that the antigens can be partly included in the CIC structure. The level of the total CIC content in BA children's blood sera one month after hospitalization twice exceeded the value detected at primary examination. Three months later later this parameter decreased not reaching the control value. The differential analysis of the precipitated CIC within the whole period of examination showed that mycoplasma antigens were present in the CIC structure in 87.4 - 65.0% of cases. The data obtained precondition future studies on the role of mycoplasma and M.p. and M.h. antigens included in the CIC in the pathogenesis of BA.  相似文献

Predisposition to bronchial asthma depends to a large extent on the genotype norm of the children organism reaction, associates with the phenotype of blood group A and haptoglobin Nr 2-2. Persons with blood group B and haptoglobin Nr 1-1 are predisposed to the development of inflammation in the lungs to a greater extent than persons with other blood groups of the ABO system and haptoglobin.  相似文献

In a double-blind placebo-controlled trial of tyrosine-absorbed Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus vaccine no improvement was seen in 45 patients with asthma sensitive to house dust mite. In particular there was no significant improvement in symptom scores, spirometry, and skin and nasal challenge test results. Some patients in other studies have benefited from doses of vaccine much stronger than those now commercially available, but the incidence of side effects has also been high.  相似文献

Level of circulating immunological complexes and their immunoglobulin content have been determined in 36 asthmatic patients, including 15 patients with atopic asthma and 21 patients with infectious asthma. A technique of staphylococcal protein A binding has shown, that the level of the circulating immunological complexes is increased in patients with infectious bronchial asthma. An amount of IgE in these complexes has been increased in both atopic and infectious bronchial asthma. However, a level of IgE-containing immunological complexes has been higher in the atopic asthma, then that in infectious form of the disease. An increased IgA content in the immunological complexes has been noted in the infectious asthma.  相似文献

In experiments of the passive protection of mice the protective properties of sera obtained from humans before and after their immunization with Proteus vaccine used as a monopreparation or in combination with staphylococcal toxoid and/or pyoimmunogen were studied. When introduced in a single subcutaneous injection, Proteus vaccine prepared from soluble antigenic complexes ensured an increase in the protective properties of sera. The second injection of the vaccine essentially enhanced the protective potency of the sera of the immunized donors. The therapeutic injection of Proteus vaccine ensured the essential increase of the protective properties of the sera. This increase could be experimentally detected within at least 25-30 days from the beginning of immunization. The immunization of volunteers with Proteus vaccine in combination with pyoimmunogen and adsorbed staphylococcal toxoid ensured the maximum increase of the protective properties of their sera.  相似文献

In asthma elevated rates of exhaled breath temperature changes (Δe°T) and bronchial blood flow (Qaw) may be due to increased vascularity of the airway mucosa as a result of inflammation.We investigated the relationship of Δe°T with Qaw and airway inflammation as assessed by exhaled nitric oxide (NO). We also studied the anti-inflammatory and vasoactive effects of inhaled corticosteroid and β2-agonist.Δe°T was confirmed to be elevated (7.27 ± 0.6 Δ°C/s) in 19 asthmatic subjects (mean age ± SEM, 40 ± 6 yr; 6 male, FEV1 74 ± 6 % predicted) compared to 16 normal volunteers (4.23 ± 0.41 Δ°C/s, p < 0.01) (30 ± 2 yr) and was significantly increased after salbutamol inhalation in normal subjects (7.8 ± 0.6 Δ°C/ s, p < 0.05) but not in asthmatic patients. Qaw, measured using an acetylene dilution method was also elevated in patients with asthma compared to normal subjects (49.47 ± 2.06 and 31.56 ± 1.6 μl/ml/min p < 0.01) and correlated with exhaled NO (r = 0.57, p < 0.05) and Δe°T (r = 0.525, p < 0.05). In asthma patients, Qaw was reduced 30 minutes after the inhalation of budesonide 400 μg (21.0 ± 2.3 μl/ml/min, p < 0.05) but was not affected by salbutamol.Δe°T correlates with Qaw and exhaled NO in asthmatic patients and therefore may reflect airway inflammation, as confirmed by the rapid response to steroids.  相似文献
