The prevalence and magnitude of childhood and adult obesity and diabetes are increasing dramatically. FOXO 1a and FOXO 3a will be evaluated in this study, in an effort to identify genetic polymorphisms in potential candidate genes that may be associated with body mass index (BMI), and metabolic syndrome (MS). Also to assess whether there is a relation between insulin sensitivity, and genotype, we will test the relation between fasting insulin, glucose, insulin resistance, insulin secretion and genotype.A total number of 248 presenting normal, overweight and obese individuals were recruited; 100 children and 148 adults of both sexes. They were divided by body mass index as follows, normal, overweight and obese. Lipid profile, fasting glucose and insulin HOMA-IR and HOMA-β index and RT-PCR for FOXO 1a and FOXO 3a were performed.An association was found among the studied group (children and adults) as regards foxo3a gene polymorphism and HOMA IR, HOMA B index and T-cholesterol (P = 0.022, 0.011 and 0.028, respectively), while there was only an association between LDL-C and foxo1a gene polymorphism among the studied group of children and adults (P = 0.023).In this study we demonstrated that FOXO3a mutant is correlated with HOMA-IR (marker of insulin resistance), HOMA-B index (marker of insulin secretion) and total cholesterol while as regards FOXO1a there was only an association between LDL cholesterol and mutant type of FOXO1a.  相似文献

多囊卵巢综合征(polycystic ovary syndrome,PCOS)是国内外研究者、医患人员非常关心的育龄期妇女常见的内分泌代谢疾病,其主要表现为闭经、月经量减少、肥胖、不孕、体多毛等。多数伴有胰岛素抵抗(insulin resistance,IR)的发生,胰岛素抵抗(insulin resistance,IR)是指正常水平的胰岛素促进葡萄糖摄取及利用能力下降,机体各组织、器官代偿性分泌胰岛素以维持机体血糖稳定的一种代谢状态。近年来的研究不断证实PCOS患者2型糖尿病、血脂代谢紊乱及代谢综合征(metabolicsyndrome,MS)等并发症的发病率明显增高。运动能够改善2型糖尿病患者胰岛素抵抗的说法已经得到了共识,其分子机制也逐渐分明。PCOS患者胰岛素抵抗的研究目前仍处于进一步探讨阶段,但是经过近几年的努力已经有了新的进展,若在PCOS胰岛素抵抗患者的治疗过程中给予一定的运动干预,相信一定能够有新的突破。本文就PCOS患者胰岛素抵抗研究的机制、诊断及治疗方法的新进展简单做一综述。  相似文献

ObjectiveTo assess the estimated glucose disposal rate (eGDR), insulin dose, and lipoprotein profile in children with type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1DM) and overweight or obesity as compared to children with T1DM and normal weight.MethodsA total of 115 patients (aged 5-16 years) with T1DM on intensive insulin therapy were recruited. The following parameters were measured: weight, height, body mass index, waist and hip circumference, insulin dose, eGDR, glycosylated hemoglobin, blood pressure, and lipoprotein profile. Results were stratified by sex and age.ResultsNo significant differences were found in eGDR between children with normal weight, overweight, and obesity. However, obese children older than 11 years had lower eGDR values (9.3 ± 1.3 vs 10.1 ± 0.8 mg kg-1min-1; p < 0.01). Insulin dose was higher in overweight and obese children, especially in IU/m2/day (37.7 vs 36.1 vs 29.4 respectively; p < 0.01). Obese children had higher low-density lipoprotein cholesterol levels than children with overweight and normal weight (106.5 vs 91.7 vs 91.5 mg/dL respectively; p < 0.01). No correlation was found between waist circumference and the different markers of insulin resistance.ConclusionsValues of eGDR values were lower in obese children with T1DM older than 11 years, and this may therefore be considered a marker of insulin resistance. Insulin dose was higher in diabetic patients with overweight or obesity, specially in IU/m2/day. Obese children with T1DM had a lipoprotein profile of cardiovascular risk.  相似文献

目的:探讨儿童血清视黄醇结合蛋白-4(retinol-binding protein4,RBP-4),视黄醇,甲状腺素运载蛋白(transthyretin,TTR)等维生素A相关指标与肥胖、胰岛素抵抗以及代谢综合征组分之间的关系。方法:分别随机选取本地区13-15岁体检学生,其中正常对照组和单纯性肥胖组儿童各50例,测定其血清RBP-4、视黄醇、TTR水平;利用空腹胰岛素和定量胰岛索敏感性检测指标评价其胰岛素抵抗;同时测定代谢综合征部分组分水平和亚临床炎症指标。结果:仅5%的青少年存在维生素A营养不足状态。排除年龄、性别、感染等因素的影响后,血清RBP-4水平、视黄醇、RBP-4/TTR摩尔比值以及RBP-4/视黄醇摩尔比值与体重指数、体脂含量以及体脂的中心分布(WHR)等密切相关;RBP-4与代谢综合征组分的甘油三酯水平则存在明显的正相关,而RBP-4/视黄醇摩尔比值则与空腹胰岛素水平存在显著的正相关。结论:RBP-4可能通过视黄醇依赖和/或非视黄醇依赖的方式参与肥胖和代谢综合征的病理过程。  相似文献

In type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) and its related disorders like obesity, the abnormal protein processing, oxidative stress and proinflammatory cytokines will drive the activation of inflammatory pathways, leading to low-grade chronic inflammation and insulin resistance (IR) in the periphery and impaired neuronal insulin signaling in the brain. Studies have shown that such inflammation and impaired insulin signaling contribute to the development of Alzheimer''s disease (AD). Therefore, new therapeutic strategies are needed for the treatment of T2DM and T2DM-linked AD. Melatonin is primarily known for its circadian role which conveys message of darkness and induces night-state physiological functions. Besides rhythm-related effects, melatonin has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Melatonin levels are downregulated in metabolic disorders with IR, and activation of melatonin signaling delays disease progression. The aim of this Review is to highlight the therapeutic potentials of melatonin in preventing the acceleration of AD in T2DM individuals through its therapeutic mechanisms, including antioxidative effects, anti-inflammatory effects, restoring mitochondrial function and insulin sensitivity.  相似文献

目的:探讨visfatin基因在多囊卵巢综合征(PCOS)网膜脂肪组织中的表达及相关影响因素。方法:采用半定量RT-PCR方法检测PCOS组(30例)和对照组(25例)网膜脂肪组织visfatin mRNA表达,并测量体重指数、腰臀比、空腹血糖、空腹胰岛素、胰岛素抵抗指数和血清性激素水平。结果:①PCOS组网膜脂肪组织visfatin mRNA表达量高于对照组(P=0.000)。②网膜脂肪组织visfatin mRNA的表达量与BMI、WHR、FINS、HOMA-IR呈正相关(P〈0.05)。③多元逐步回归分析显示,HOMA-IR(P=0.000)和WHR(P=0.005)是影响网膜脂肪组织visfatin mRNA表达的相关因素。结论:网膜脂肪组织visfatin mRNA表达可能与PCOS胰岛素抵抗的发生和肥胖相关。  相似文献

AimThe euglycemic-hyperinsulinemic clamp (EHC) is not available in most clinical settings and is costly, time consuming and invasive, and requires trained staff. Therefore, an accessible and inexpensive test to identify insulin resistance (IR) is needed. The aim of this study is to assess whether zinc-α2-glycoprotein (ZAG) index [Ln ZAG/homeostasis model assessment of IR (HOMA-IR)] is a better surrogate index for estimating IR or metabolic syndrome (MetS) compared with other surrogate indices.MethodsWe performed a population-based cross-sectional study. Two hundred healthy subjects, 102 polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) patients, 97 newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes mellitus (nT2DM) and 84 impaired glucose tolerance (IGT) subjects were enrolled. The EHC was performed to identify IR. Circulating ZAG and adiponectin levels were determined by ELISA.ResultsThe ZAG index was significantly lower in participants with IR including IGT, nT2DM and PCOS than in those without IR. In addition, subjects with MetS had lower ZAG indices and higher the product of fasting triglycerides and glucose (TyG) indices than those without MetS. The ZAG index showed a significantly stronger association with M values than the other surrogate indices, whereas the TyG index showed a stronger association with MetS. The optimal cutoff value of the ZAG index for detection of IR was 2.97 with a sensitivity of 88% and a specificity of 91%, whereas the optimal cutoff value of TyG index for detection of MetS was 4.90 with a sensitivity of 82% and a specificity of 86%.ConclusionThe ZAG index is a better marker than the other surrogate indices for identifying IR, whereas the TyG index has high sensitivity and specificity for identifying MetS.  相似文献

Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a common endocrine gynecological disorder. Insulin resistance (IR) is a major cause of PCOS. Melatonin, a critical endogenous hormone, has beneficial effects on the female reproductive system. This study aims to investigate the molecular effect of melatonin on IR in human ovarian granulosa cells (GCs). Hormone levels of the subjects were determined through clinical examination. The expression levels of insulin receptor substrate (IRS)-1 and glucose transporter (GLUT4) in GCs from PCOS patients and a human granulosa cell line (SVOG) were examined using qRT-PCR and western blot. The IR cell model was established by inducing SVOG cells with palmitic acid (PA). IR was detected in GCs of PCOS patients and SVOG by measuring glucose content and glucose uptake. Cell viability and apoptosis levels were detected by CCK-8 assay and flow cytometry. PI3K/Akt pathway expression in SVOG was assessed by western blot. PCOS patients had higher levels of luteinizing hormone (LH), testosterone, and LH/follicle-stimulating hormone. PA decreased cell viability, promoted apoptosis, and reduced glucose uptake in SVOG cells. IRS-1 and GLUT4 mRNA and protein expression was downregulated, and glucose uptake capacity was reduced in PCOS GCs and SVOG cells. Melatonin significantly upregulated IRS-1 and GLUT4 expression, downregulated p-IRS-1 (Ser307), and improved glucose uptake in PCOS patients' GCs and SVOG cells. PA decreased PI3K and Akt phosphorylation, whereas melatonin increased p-PI3K and p-Akt levels. Melatonin can reduce IR in GCs and PA-induced SVOG cells via the PI3K/Akt signaling pathway, providing more evidence for treating polycystic ovary syndrome.  相似文献

Recent studies indicate that insulin resistance resulting from altered post-receptor signaling is associated with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). We hypothesized that insulin receptor substrate-1 (IRS-1) Gly972Arg polymorphism and/or ectonucleotide pyrophosphatase/phosphodiesterase 1 (ENPP1) Lys121Gln polymorphism predisposes women to PCOS and that these polymorphisms also affect anthropometric variables, glucose metabolism and androgen synthesis. To test those ideas, we studied the genotypes, indexes of insulin resistance, and hormone profiles in 123 Japanese women with PCOS and 380 healthy Japanese controls. We found that there were significantly more IRS-1 972Arg carriers among the PCOS patients than among the healthy controls (10.6% vs. 4.8%, p=0.029), which is consistent with our finding that women carrying the IRS-1 972Arg allele had a significantly increased risk of developing PCOS (odds ratio: 3.31, 95% confidence interval: 1.49-7.35). By contrast, the ENPP1 Lys121Arg polymorphism was distributed equally among PCOS patients and controls. In addition, neither of these polymorphisms studied affected the anthropometric variables, metabolic parameters or androgen levels of women with PCOS. We conclude that the IRS-1 Gly972Arg polymorphism is associated with PCOS in the Japanese population.  相似文献

摘要 目的:分析血清骨钙素(OC)、血小板反应蛋白-1(TSP-1)、血管生成素样蛋白2(ANGPTL2)与多囊卵巢综合征(PCOS)患者胰岛素抵抗(IR)、性激素和卵巢间质血流的关系。方法:选取2020年1月~2022年4月内蒙古自治区人民医院收治的125例PCOS患者(PCOS组),根据稳态模型评估(HOMA)-IR分为IR组68例和非IR组57例,另选取同期67例体检健康成年女性(对照组)。收集研究对象HOMA-IR和性激素、卵巢间质血流指标,采用酶联免疫吸附法检测血清OC、TSP-1、ANGPTL2水平。比较PCOS组与对照组、IR组与非IR组之间性激素、卵巢间质血流指标、血清OC、TSP-1、ANGPTL2水平的差异。采用Pearson/Spearman相关性分析法分析PCOS患者血清OC、TSP-1、ANGPTL2水平与HOMA-IR、性激素和卵巢间质血流指标的相关性。结果:PCOS组HOMA-IR、黄体生成素(LH)、LH/促卵泡生成素(FSH)、睾酮(T)、收缩期峰值速度(PSV)、ANGPTL2水平高于对照组,搏动指数(PI)和阻力指数(RI)、OC、TSP-1水平低于对照组(P<0.05)。IR组LH、LH/FSH、T、PSV、ANGPTL2水平高于非IR组,PI、RI、OC、TSP-1水平低于非IR组(P<0.05)。Pearson/Spearman相关性分析显示,PCOS患者血清OC、TSP-1水平与HOMA-IR、LH、LH/FSH、T、PSV呈负相关,与PI、RI呈正相关(P<0.05);血清ANGPTL2水平与PCOS患者HOMA-IR、LH、LH/FSH、T、PSV呈正相关,与PI、RI呈负相关(P<0.05)。结论:血清OC、TSP-1在PCOS患者血清中低表达,ANGPTL2在PCOS患者血清中高表达,三者与PCOS患者IR、性激素和卵巢间质血流密切相关。  相似文献

摘要 目的:探讨体型肥胖2型糖尿病(T2DM)患者血清胆红素、胆汁酸(BA)、25羟维生素D3[25(OH)D3]水平及其与胰岛素抵抗(IR)的关系。方法:选取2018年1月-2019年12月我院就诊的240例T2DM患者,根据体重指数(BMI)将患者分为T2DM-N组84例,T2DM-OW组92例,T2DM-OB组64例。分别测定总胆红素(TBIL)、间接胆红素(IBIL)、直接胆红素(DBIL)、胆汁酸(BA)、25(OH)D3等指标。以胰岛素抵抗指数(HOMA-IR)为因变量,行多元线性回归,分析IR的危险因素。结果:T2DM-OB组BMI、BA、甘油三酯(TG)、空腹血糖(FPG)、餐后2小时血糖(2hPG)、糖化血红蛋白(HbA1c)、空腹胰岛素(FINS)、胰岛素抵抗指数(HOMA-IR)、C反应蛋白(CRP)高于T2DM-N组,DBIL、25(OH)D3低于T2DM-N组,差异均有统计学意义(P<0.05)。Pearson相关性分析显示,HOMA-IR与BMI、BA呈正相关(P<0.05),与DBIL、25(OH)D3呈负相关(P<0.05);多元线性回归分析显示BMI升高,25(OH)D3、DBIL下降为IR的危险因素(P<0.05)。结论:肥胖的T2DM患者存在IR及血脂紊乱,心血管疾病患病风险增加,BA水平升高,DBIL、25(OH)D3水平下降,机体慢性低度炎症水平升高,除了BMI,25(OH)D3、DBIL水平下降亦有可能是体型肥胖T2DM患者IR的重要危险因素。  相似文献

Adiponectin is one of the most thoroughly studied adipocytokines. Low plasma levels of adiponectin are found to associate with obesity, metabolic syndrome, diabetes and many other human diseases. From animal experiments and human studies, adiponectin has been shown to be a key regulator of insulin sensitivity. In this article, we review the evidence and propose that hypo-adiponectinemia is not a major cause of obesity. Instead, it is the result of obesity-induced insulin resistance in the adipose tissue. Hypo-adiponectinemia then mediates the metabolic effects of obesity on the other peripheral tissues, such as liver and skeletal muscle and may also exert some direct effects on end-organ damage. We propose that deciphering the molecular details governing the adiponectin gene expression and protein secretion will lead us to more comprehensive understanding of the mechanisms of insulin resistance in the adipose tissue and provide us new avenues for the therapeutic intervention of obesity and insulin resistance-related human disorders  相似文献

目的:探讨多囊卵巢综合征(polycystic ovary syndrome,PCOS)患者血清抗苗勒管激素(anti-Müllerian hormone,AMH)水平与肥胖、胰岛素抵抗(insulin resistance,IR)程度的相关性。方法:选择在我院生殖中心就诊的139名PCOS患者为研究组,并以月经周期正常、因输卵管因素或男性因素导致不孕者48名作为对照组。检测和比较PCOS患者的血清AMH、性激素水平及代谢指标,分析血清AMH水平与PCOS患者肥胖、胰岛素抵抗程度的关系。结果:PCOS组患者体质量指数(body mass index,BMI)、黄体生成素(luteinizing hormone,LH)、睾酮(testosterone,T)、垂体泌乳素(pituitary prolactin PRL)、空腹血糖(fasting plasma glucose,FPG)、空腹胰岛素(fasting insulin,FINS)、稳态模型胰岛素抵抗指数(homenostasis models assessment-insulin resistance index,HOMA-IR)的水平均显著高于对照组(P0.05),PCOS组和对照组年龄、卵泡刺激素(follicle stimulating hormone,FSH)比较差异无统计学意义(P0.05)。PCOS各表型组的血清AMH浓度、LH/FSH比值均明显高于对照组(P0.05)。肥胖组患者的AMH浓度低于正常体重组,BMI、FPG、FINS、HOMA-IR、甘油三脂(triglycerides,TG)水平均高于正常体重组,LH、LH/FSH、高密度脂蛋白(high density lipoprotein,HDL-C)水平均低于正常体重组(P0.05)。高HOMA-IR组患者的血清AMH浓度、LH、LH/FSH水平均明显低于低HOMA-IR组,BMI、T、FPG、FINS、TG、低密度脂蛋白(low density lipoprotein,LDL-C)水平均高于低HOMA-IR组(P0.05)。PCOS患者血清AMH浓度和BMI及HOMA-IR均存在显著负相关。结论:PCOS患者血清的AMH水平较对照组明显升高,与其肥胖、胰岛素抵抗(IR)程度呈显著负相关。  相似文献

Asymmetric dimethylarginine (ADMA) plays a vital role in the regulation of insulin sensitivity and has been shown as a potential marker for various disease, including type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM2). However, the correlation between ADMA and impaired glucose tolerance (IGT) and obesity has not been studied. A total of 195 subjects were involved in our study. The characteristics of the subjects in the study cohort were measured and analyzed. We found that the serum ADMA and C-reactive protein levels were significantly increased in IGT and diabetic patients, whereas the levels of lipoprotein A and adiponectin were decreased, especially in diabetic patients with obesity. The serum ADMA level was positively correlated to a homeostatic model assessment for insulin resistance, and multivariate regression analysis further indicated that ADMA was an independent factor for DM patients with obesity. Our study expands the understanding of the complicated relationship between obesity, insulin resistance, IGT, and ADMA. In addition, we demonstrated that the serum ADMA level could serve as a diagnositic biomarker of the early signs for IGT patients with obesity.  相似文献

The aim of the study was to evaluate the plasma level of calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) in patients with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and its relationship to hormonal and metabolic parameters. We also observed the effect of CGRP on testosterone (T) and estradiol (E(2)) release in cultured human granulosa cells. PCOS subjects (n=215) and matched healthy control women (n=103) at age of 22-38 years were enrolled in this study. We analyzed plasma CGRP concentrations, relationship of plasma CGRP with insulin resistance (IR), body mass index (BMI), luteinizing hormone/follicle-stimulating hormone (LH/FSH) ratio and T. The T and E(2) release levels of cultured human granulosa cells treated by CGRP were also measured. The results showed that plasma CGRP concentrations were significantly higher in women with PCOS than those of control subjects. In women with PCOS, there was a strong positive correlation between the plasma CGRP level with HOMA-IR, AUC-insulin, AUC-glucose, the ratio of LH/FSH and plasma T concentration. Human granulosa cells expressed CGRP receptor. Exogenous CGRP caused an elevation of T and E(2) released from the human granulosa cells. These findings suggest that CGRP may participate in the pathophysiological process of PCOS.  相似文献

The emergence of obesity, insulin resistance (IR), and type-2 diabetes (T2DM) in children requires a rational, effective public health response. Physical activity remains an important component of prevention and treatment for obesity, T2DM, and IR. Studies in adults show cardiovascular fitness (CVF) to be more important than obesity in predicting IR. We recently demonstrated that a school-based fitness intervention in children who were overweight can improve cardiovascular fitness, body composition, and insulin sensitivity, but it remains unclear whether accurate assessment of fitness could be performed at the school or outside of an exercise laboratory. The purpose of the study was to determine if a new methodology using measurement of cycling power could estimate cardiovascular aerobic fitness (as defined by maximum oxygen consumption; VO(2)max) in middle school children who were overweight. Thirty-five middle school children who were overweight (mean age 12 +/- 0.4 years) underwent testing on a power sensor- equipped Cycle Ops Indoor Cycle (IC), as well as body composition by dual x-ray absorptiometry (DXA), and VO(2)max by treadmill determination. Insulin sensitivity was also estimated by fasting glucose and insulin. Maximal heart rate (MHR) was determined during VO(2)max testing, and power produced at 80% of MHR was recorded. Spearman's rank correlation was performed to evaluate associations. Mean power determined on the IC at 80% of MHR was 129 +/- 77 watts, and average power at 80% MHR divided by total body weight (TBW) was 1.5 +/- 0.5. A significant correlation between watts/TBW was seen for VO(2)max (ml/kg/min) (p = 0.03), and significant negative correlation was seen between watts/TBW and fasting insulin (p < 0.05). In middle-school children who were overweight, there was a significant relationship between the power component of fitness and cardiovascular aerobic fitness (measured by VO(2)max). This more accessible and less intimidating field-based measure of power may prove useful in predicting changes in cardiovascular fitness. Thus, accurate assessment of childhood aerobic fitness may be achievable by measurement of power, possibly within the school environment at substantially less cost and effort than laboratory-based measurements.  相似文献

Alzheimer disease (AD) is sometimes referred to as type III diabetes because of the shared risk factors for the two disorders. Insulin resistance, one of the major components of type II diabetes mellitus (T2DM), is a known risk factor for AD. Insulin resistance increases amyloid-β peptide (Aβ) generation, but the exact mechanism underlying the linkage of insulin resistance to increased Aβ generation in the brain is unknown. In this study, we investigated the effect of insulin resistance on amyloid β (A4) precursor protein (APP) processing in mice fed a high-fat diet (HFD), and diabetic db/db mice. We found that insulin resistance promotes Aβ generation in the brain via altered insulin signal transduction, increased BACE1/β-secretase and γ-secretase activities, and accumulation of autophagosomes. Using an in vitro model of insulin resistance, we found that defects in insulin signal transduction affect autophagic flux by inhibiting the mechanistic target of rapamycin (MTOR) pathway. The insulin resistance-induced autophagosome accumulation resulted in alteration of APP processing through enrichment of secretase proteins in autophagosomes. We speculate that the insulin resistance that underlies the pathogenesis of T2DM might alter APP processing through autophagy activation, which might be involved in the pathogenesis of AD. Therefore, we propose that insulin resistance-induced autophagosome accumulation becomes a potential linker between AD and T2DM.  相似文献

Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is characterized by insulin resistance (IR) and central obesity. The impact of adipose tissue cortisol reactivation by 11β-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase type 1 (11β-HSD1) on markers of obesity and IR was assessed in PCOS patients. Eighty-five PCOS patients and 43 controls were enrolled for subcutaneous adipose tissue biopsy; 25/85 patients and 29/43 controls underwent also visceral adipose tissue biopsy. HSD11B1 gene expression and expression of lipid metabolism genes were measured in subcutaneous and visceral adipose tissues. Anthropometric and biochemical markers of IR and PCOS were also assessed. HSD11B1 expression in visceral and subcutaneous adipose tissue was increased in PCOS patients compared to controls (p<0.05). After BMI adjustment, the difference was no longer significant. In PCOS patients, visceral HSD11B1 expression correlated positively with waist circumference (p=0.001), BMI (p=0.002), plasma insulin (p<0.05), systolic blood pressure (p=0.003), and lipoprotein lipase (LPL), hormone-sensitive lipase (LIPE) and peroxisome-proliferator activated receptor γ gene expression. Subcutaneous HSD11B1 expression correlated positively with BMI, waist circumference (p<0.001 for both) and HOMA-IR (p=0.003), and negatively with LPL, LIPE, adiponectin and glucose transporter GLUT4 gene expression. HSD11B1 expression in both depots showed a negative correlation with plasma HDL-cholesterol (p<0.03) and a positive one with C-reactive protein (p<0.001). In multiple regression analysis, HSD11B1 expression in visceral adipose tissue was most prominently associated with waist circumference, and that in subcutaneous adipose tissue with BMI (p<0.001 for both). Our results show that PCOS is not associated with increased HSD11B1 expression once adiposity is controlled for. Increased expression of this gene correlates with markers of adiposity and predicts IR and an unfavorable metabolic profile, independently of PCOS.  相似文献

非酒精性脂肪性肝病(nonalcoholic fatty liver disease,NAFLD)在全世界人群中发病率逐年上升,成为新的全球公共健康问题,已越来越引起临床关注。其发病以胰岛素抵抗为基础,与肥胖、血脂紊乱、原发性高血压、2型糖尿病等代谢综合征各组分密切相关。NAFLD可进展至肝硬化、肝衰竭甚至肝癌,伴有代谢综合征一种或多种组分可能加速疾病的进展。NAFLD初期是一种可逆性过程,充分了解影响其发生、发展的相关代谢危险因素并及时纠正,可能导致疾病的逆转或延缓其进程。本文就NAFLD与代谢综合征各组分的相关调查研究进行综述。  相似文献
