Two new species of Phraortes from the Ryukyus,Japan (Phasmatodea: Phasmatidae) |

| Abstract: | Two new species of Phraortes are described from the Ryukyus of Japan. Phraortes kumensis sp. nov. is described from Kume‐jima Island, and P. yonaguniensis sp. nov. from Yonaguni‐jima Island. The morphology of the females, males and eggs of the new species is illustrated. |
