| Abstract: | Glucarate hydro-lyase was isolated and purified to near homogeneity from cells of Pseudomonas acidovorans grown on glucarate. By using gel filtration and ion-exchange chromatography, it was shown that the oxodeoxyglucarate aldolase activity observed in such extracts is associated with the glucarate hydro-lyase protein. |
