中华秋沙鸭在中国的近期越冬分布与数量

中华秋沙鸭(Mergus squamatus)以往在我国广有越冬记录,但分布点零散,且多为小群或零星个体,很少在同一地点见到10只以上的个体记录。20世纪90年代以来在个别地点虽发现有中华秋沙鸭的越冬群体,但缺少持续性观察结果。21世纪初在赣东北的弋阳、婺源相继发现中华秋沙鸭的较大越冬群,总数量至少超过100只,且数量和分布地点相对保持稳定。两地记录到的最大数量分别超过该种全球总量的1%,应当加强保护。

Current Distribution and Status of the Wintering Scaly-sided Merganser Mergus squamatus in China

Records of the wintering Scaly-sided Merganser(Mergus squamatus) so far had been reported widely scattered in China,and the bird usually found in small flock or in individuals with quite rare of a case of more than 10 birds gathered at one locality.During the 1990s,though results of surveys revealed a few wintering flocks of the bird but no longer reported being stable.Since the beginning the 21st century,relatively larger wintering flock of the bird were successively reported found at several localities in NE Jiangxi of SE China,with at least over 100 birds in total,and,number of the birds of each flock either at Yiyang or at Wuyuan has exceeded 1% of the far known world population of the Scaly-sided Merganser.More attention might hence be paid on the conservation management of that wintering subpopulation of the bird.
