| Abstract: | In the present paper,a new species of the genus Omocestus is described from Xinjiang. Type specimens are deposited in the Institute of Zoology,Shaanxi Normal University. Omocestus peliopteroides sp. nov. (Figs 1-6) This new species is allied to Omocestus petraeus (Bris.),1855,but differs in:1) the longitudinal diameter of eyes 1.1-1.5 times as long as subocular furrow; 2) the maximum width between lateral keels of pronotum 1.3-1.5 times the minimum width between lateral keels of pronotum; 3) tegmina surpass... |
