| Abstract: | L-lactic acid is widely used as feedstocks for potential biodegradable plastics from low-cost and renewable carbohydrates. It has become a focus that is paid attention to by many researchers to develop the L-lactic producing strains with high yield, high growth rate, high optical purity and the ability suitable for fermentation technique by new and high breeding technology. The recent advances in study of strain breeding for L-lactic acid production were reviewed in this paper. |
