Synthesis of the herpes simplex virus type 1 trans-activator Vmw65 in insect cells using a baculovirus vector

Vmw65, the Herpes Simplex Virus trans-activator of immediate-early genes, was expressed in insect cells using a recombinant baculovirus expression vector and partially purified.
