| Abstract: | Chromosome numbers and karyotype of Arenaria roborowskii(Caryophyllaceae) from Hengduan mountains were studied in this paper.The results showed that the karyotype formulas is 2n=2x=22=22m with type 1A asymmetry.The interphase nuclei and prophase chromosomes of the specie were found to be of the complex chromosome type and interstitial type. |
