| 摘 要： | It is my great pleasure to bring to you the newly vitalized Journal after several important changes. Firstly,following careful consideration and discussions with concerned colleagues and organizations, the Editorial Board has decided to appoint a new publisher, the internationally recognized Blackwell Publishing, to rejuvenate the journal. This first issue of Insect Science (INS) in 2005 initiates a new era of the Journal. Secondly, you will notice that both the appearance and the format of the Journal have changed substantially, as has the editorial team.
