摘    要:本文介绍了一个在微机(IBM PC)上实现的、用于核酸顺序分析的计算机程序系统.该系统由三个层次和18个功能块构成,菜单及人机对话使得用户能较快地掌握和使用它.在编程中,采用了树结构、先进后出栈和稀疏矩阵等数据结构技巧,运用了Bayes法等统计分析方法,Kruskal算法和Floyd算法等一系列图论方法也被得到应用,这个软件系统的推出对于分子生物学研究具有一定的积极作用.

A COMPUTER-AIDED ANALYSIS SYSTEM FOR NUCLEIC ACIDS SEQUENCES
Abstract:A nucleic acids sequence analysis system(NASA) has been developed with a microcomputer IBM pc in our laboratory. It is a three-level program system and is composed of eighteen functions. The first level is a menu of function programs, the second is eighteen function programs and the third is subfunction programs. Many mathematical methods are applied in these programs.The eighteen functions include editing(storing, printing, displaying, deleting, inserting and appending sequences), giving a complementary strand of a nucleic acids sequence, translating nucleotide sequences into amino acids sequences, searching for restriction enzyme sites of DNA, looking for sequence ho-mology, finding hairpin structures, searching for loops and stems in a single strand RNA or DNA, searching for repetitive and oligonucleotide sequences, computing the frequencies of mononucleotide, dinucleotides and trinucleotides (codons), looking for alternate purine and pyrimidine sequences, predicting the secondary structure of single strand RNA or DNA, predicting positions of DNA promoter sequences based on the different distribution of mononucleotides or dinucleotides in promoter, finging protein genes using the methods of codon preference usage in gene sequences or of nucleotides preference usage in three positions of codon, applying graph theory to the reconstruction of primary structure of DNA.This system is strong and flexible. Its function number can be increased arbitrarily and its new function programs can be written in any computer languages.
