| Abstract: | Transpiration from excised leaves of Anthephra pubescens Nees was enhanced by 1 and 10 mmol m-3 kinetin. Stomatal opening in isolated epidermal strips of A. pubescens under CO2-free air and in the absence of K+ was enhanced by 10 mmol m-3 kinetin.Abbreviations ABA
